- Verified traveler (2/5): Penoso - Llegamos a la habitación y lo primero que vemos son manchas enormes tanto en la colcha como en las sábanas, las toallas tambien con manchas naranjas, la tapa del water desgastada y rota. Y el water sucio

- Victoria (2/5): - There was nothing to like. Run down, dirty, pictures are not even of the outside of the property, room pictures are photoshopped. No lift or offer of help to 3rd floor. More like a halfway house, the street it is on is filfthy, rats, rubbish, drugs, dangerous people, very frightening. Don't go seriously. Staff not warm or welcoming and certainly don't care about your stay as long as they have had your money.

- Aicha (2/5): Totalement déçue - L accueil fut décevant. Le veilleur de nuit de samedi à été odieux. Je n avais pas un accès libre à ma chambre car je devais sonner et donc le réveiller. Il m a hurlé dessus en me reprochant d être rentré tard. Qu il fallait que je loue un appartement. La chambre était sale. La cabine de douche extrêmement petite. Les taies d oreiller jaunes. La serviette était déchirée. Bref une catastrophe.

La salle de bain mon petit avec meubles cassés pas de serviette ni gel douche ni savon définir le monsieur de l'hôtel pas accueillant faisait la gueule qu'on on a dit que le linge de lit est sale... trop déçu et je recommande pas

Zona centrale, venendo dalla Gare di Saint Charles è situata 50 metri prima dell'incrocio con la strada principale di Marsiglia, Avenue de La Canebière...ad onor del vero bastano quei 50 mt in piú o in meno per avere quella "sensazione di ghetto", ma svoltando appunto per la Canebière si sente già un'atmosfera piú "aperta",anzi, ci si trova nella zona piú bella di Marsiglia insieme al Panier e al Prado. Lo consiglio per chi vuole spendere 60 euro a notte.
- Rebecca (4/5): Hôtel fait pour une nuit de passage à moindre coût - La propreté de l’hotel est juste limite , la chambre était petite mon compagnon avait la tête au niveau de la table quand il était dans le lit ( dangereux pour se lever) la cuvette des wc était à moitié cassé et le pire notre clim qui c’est mise à fuir au goutte à goutte le long de la porte mini inondation on a dû la couper et malheureusement impossible de dormir la fenêtre ouverte. - Verified traveler (6/5): - Hôtelier un peu réservé mais néanmoins sympathique. Très près de la gare ce qui en fait un point très positif si l'on a un train le lendemain tôt. Bouilloire et micro-ondes dans la salle réservée au petit dej et non dans la chambre comme j'avais pu le lire sur le site d'hôtel. Com.On peut cependant les utiliser en dehors des petits déjeuners si on le désire.. Bonne literie, matelas à ressort. Le gros point négatif est la mauvaise insonorisation.. Avec des clients peu respectueux (je ne sais pas si c'est habituel), claquements de portes, pas très forts dans les escaliers et provenant de la chambre du dessus (vraiment pénible) . Malgré cela je recommande cet hôtel !

- Verified traveler (2/5): Plus jamais !!! - De la moisissure sur le plafond de la salle de bain, fond des toilettes sale, aucune poignée de porte sur la douche et celle du placard dans la salle de bain qui vous reste dans les mains, tâche marron sur les serviettes qui sont censé être propre, tâche "suspecte" sur la couverture grise, plusieurs grosse trace noir au plafond, chambre avec aucune isolation sonore, lumière du couloir qui passe sur le côté de la porte et sous la porte gênant pour la nuit. Seul avantage la proximité de la gare et la clim. On s'attend a une meilleure qualité pour plus de 60€ la nuit...
- Verified traveler (10/5): Clean, small, great location and polite staff. - The hotel is on the main street from the train station so you just go downhill the street- like five blocks- and done! To go to the port is also extremely easy in like seven blocks away. The area where the hotel is located at it’s more local than turistic and there are plenty of grocery stores and restaurants at economic prices (example: one bottle of 1.5liter of water €1 vs. 1/2liter bottle of water by the turistic area from €2-3 !). The hotel DOES NOT HAVE ELEVATORS like is typical of the buildings in europe (unless it was builded in recent years). If you want a third towel you just need to ask. One thing that I found annoying way that I only got one tiny night stand and a chair. There was no table to put my stuff and although there was a walk-in tube hanger, there were no hangers so I was not able to hang anything. The facility does clean your room very good and leave you soap, shower gel and small shampoo sample size packet. The wifi is good, the staff does speak English, there is amazing air conditioning and tv in the room too. If you are ok with being in a more local neighborhood than turistic area, this will be good for you. It gave me the impression that there is a large Turkish/middle eastern community on that main street. The people at the hotel were very polite and helpful.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Bon séjour mais prix trop élevé pour la prestation - Accueil sympathique et chambre / sdb propres. La nuit dans sa globalité s'est plutôt bien passée. Cependant le prix est trop élevé pour la prestation. Nous sommes arrivés avec une odeur assez étrange, et pas réellement possible d'aérer car notre chambre donnait sur cour avec arrière de restaurants (kebab Etc). Bruits permanents toute la nuit venant de ce même endroit, à cause des aérations diverses des restaurants. Si vous avez le sommeil léger je déconseille donc (même avec des boules quies) Le matin tôt les bruits de portes et les employés qui discutent dans le couloir même plus loin nous ont empêché de dormir car les chambres ne sont pas tellement isolées les unes des autres (comme si nous étions dans un même appartement) Je ne recommande donc pas cet hôtel à toute personne souhaitant passer une nuit bien au calme.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - Excellent location, easily walkable from train station late night. Friendly office person to check in. However, had to hike 3 levels stairs 3 times, since key wasn't in door as first informed. 3rd hike was to retrieve the AC telecommander. Whew!
- DON (8/5): Would stay again. Good Value in this City. - Happy stay in this charming older and typical Marseille hotel for four nights. The hotel is close to La Canebierre (main thoroughfare) the old Port, and just three blocks down from main rail station (Gare Marseilles St Augustin) where I caught the daily shuttle bus to the Le Castellet French GP F1. My room was up three flights of 20 stairs and there is no elevator but the hotel makes this clear in the property notes - it was good exercise - and with all that is available and happening in this dynamic city I only did this once per day. Good value for money, clean and comfortable for my stay. Plenty of local restaurants and public transport (metro and trams) nearby. Friendly and helpful reception staff only speak French but are always willing to assist. Housekeeping staff spoke English and translated more complex requests. WiFi strong and good internet speed.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Perfect value, room was clean location was perfect - Had to book a last minute room in Marseille, was very happy to find something so close to La Cannebière. The staff was very helpfull, and even let me borrow a phone charger free of charge. I did not try the breakfast so I do not know if its good too. A little coat of fresh paint in the stairwell would be nice, but it will not provide you from resting. As many hotels around, ther is no elevator, so take that in consideration if you are handicapted.
