One thing we weren’t happy about was when we checked it, they separated our rooms on different levels. We prebooked two separate rooms and payed for it beforehand thinking we will be close by however, when we reached there they placed us in different levels. We stayed here for 9 nights so it did make a difference. We also extended our stay for another night but most of the day it took us shuffling our stuff or a bigger room that they gave us as complementary however, it was too much of a hassle. When we checked it the reception wasn’t very accommodating and could have upgraded our rooms so that we could’ve stayed together in the same room. The breakfast was the same everyday. The menu didn’t change and we had limited options as we could only each chicken and egg. The air conditioning didn’t work too well and small ants were visible in the bathroom.
• Scuba (9/5): A Solid Staging Point - I like the location and accessibility. The staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. Breakfast is excellent. In the last half hour of the breakfast service items were not replaced making it look rather uninviting.

• 420daned (10/5): Quick review on our trip - I visited Saigon with my wife in the event of Reunificafion holiday of Vietnam. This hotel gives me that traditional vibe and I can feel huge hospitality from all the staffs. The food was okay. I’m surely coming back to this hotel when I have another trip to Saigon. Love the service and atmostphere they provided. Much wow!

The festive decorations were a lovely touch and created a warm atmosphere. Comfortable room, good location, and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend!
• Andrew (7/5): Just OK, nothing more to say - The room was ok, actually the whole stay was just ok. The room was not huge but enough for our needs. The desk staff did not smile once but the concierge were very friendly. The breakfast was very average, not what I would expect or have experienced at other similar priced hotels. Even though we arrived with one hour to go all the staff seemed to be clearing up ready to close.

• Chad (5/5): Passable, but would not stay there again - We stayed in the executive suite which was extremely roomy. Only 1 bottle of drinking water provided free of charge each day. Also no amenities I. The room like drinking glasses, bottle opener etc. Toiletries (shower gel, shampoo etc) was limited to one small tube each per day instead of provided as dispensers in the shower. Additionally our toilet did not flush properly and took up to 4 flushes just to clear the bowl. Hot water took 5 mins to warm up and water pressure was poor. 90% of the staff were dismissive, inattentive and could not raise a smile to save their lives. The other 10% of staff were pleasant and welcoming. Make sure you get to breakfast early as foods and juices are not replenished at any pace to keep up with demand.

• fivenaimans (8/5): Higher end accommodations, accessible to sightseeing. - High end quality hotel with clean, updated accommodations. Stayed in March 2026 as part of tour group for two nights. Very comfortable and spacious rooms, breakfast buffet had abundant options in beautiful large room. The only negative I encountered was the omelette station attendant that worked on Sunday March 22, 2026. He was rude and abrupt to me personally when I asked for an omelette with vegetables. I am Vietnamese and was shocked at the difference in attitude towards me vs the Caucasian guests that he was also cooking for. I hope the hotel sees this as that is not acceptable to wake up to as a guest. Otherwise, I would recommend this hotel. It is across from the American Consulate.
• bernard (10/5): A beautiful hotel, well positioned for easy access, well run with friendly, helpful staff - A beautiful hotel which was very close to local restaurants and bars, the staff were really friendly and very helpful and were only to pleased to assist with any issues that we asked of them The restaurant was ideally positioned next to the main bar but was still isolated enough so that you could enjoy a quiet meal, the hotel was well maintained, clean and the staff were very friendly.

Very convenient location in walking distance to French Quartier, book street etc. Only Vietnamese coffee and black tea, no other coffee selections - but had a decent coffee shop next to the reception. There was a window between bathroom and bedroom, which a great view of the shower and toilet, luckily with blinds.

• ChristineW975 (8/5): Great Location - This is a very nice, well located modern hotel with a lovely rooftop pool. It has a lovely lobby with a coffee shop and a nice bar. We had a very spacious room. The only problem was there was hardly any shelf space and no drawers. The bathroom was nice but more counter space would have helped. There was also a strange platform that jutted out below the wall mirror beside the first bed. It contained a weigh scale. I tripped over the sharp corner several times and ended up putting my suitcase there so I wouldn't catch my foot on it when getting out of bed. This should be removed as it's a major trip hazard and serves no purpose. The dining room was huge but with little ambience. The egg station was excellent but we didn't think the breakfast was as good as at the hotel 5 hotels we stayed at on our 3-week tour of Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand.

Cleaning in the room was not done properly. We found a lot of hair when we done check-in . Also the bed was not changed on the 5 nights when we stayed there. We stayed in hotel with less than 4 stars and ckeaning was done much better, so it must be improved.

The room is average and so is the view from the room. But location is very good in a peaceful location (next to US Embassy) and a Theatre. But main shopping area like Saigon Square and Saigon Centre etc are about 1.6 km away. The hotel has a good restaurant, a coffee shop (famous Highland coffee chain) and a bar. But service is great. Had gone to the bar to ask for 4 glasses. When she saw that my hands were full with shopping bags, she followed me carrying glasses to my room.

• EmilyL3779 (8/5): Nice Hotel with Delicious Breakfast - The breakfast selection is excellent; however, the exhaust system near the cooking and egg-frying station does not seem to be functioning well. My hair and clothes had a strong smell every morning after dining in, even when I chose a seat in the far corner. We were pleasantly surprised to find a slice of birthday cake prepared for my husband by the hotel. It was a very thoughtful gesture, but I would suggest covering the cake for hygiene reasons, as we were unsure how long it had been left exposed—especially since our room was not ready due to an air-conditioning leak. Although the issue was fixed before our check-in, the water leaked again on our last night. Additionally, it would be helpful to have another receptionist available to assist individual guests during group check-ins. I had to wait for your staff to complete the entire group registration before attending to me. :( Overall, the stay was good. Thank you.

Ho usufruito della palestra un paio di volte e mi sono potuta allenare in totale tranquillità. Purtroppo, non sono riuscita a visitare la piscina, spero per la prossima occasione. Lo staff è sempre stato disponibile e cordiale. La colazione non è stata di mio gradimento: sebbene l'offerta di pietanze "salate" fosse molto ampia e tipica della cucina locale, la scarsità di cibo "dolce" (alcuni giorni era proprio assente) non mi ha fatto apprezzare questo servizio. Inoltre, abbiamo usufruito per due cene del ristorante e devo dire che l'esperienza è stata ben al di sotto delle aspettative. Moltissimi piatti indicati nel menù non erano disponibili. Da rivedere soprattutto il servizio che, in entrambe le occasioni, è stato lento e confusionario, sebbene lo staff si sia sempre dimostrato molto cordiale.

• zoltsz (2/5): Don't book before you read this. - I would not go back here if it was the only hotel in HCM . OMG the noise, from very early, the thumping bagging noise from somewhere, then every time someone uses the shower near your room the water sound runs past your bed. The karaoke on the street etc. I tried ordering room service, a great deal of things on the menu not available, and the food was just defrosted and heated. I found the front end staff the least friendly out of the many other hotels in Vietnam. The pool glass could do with a good clean, and so could the bathrooms. Struggling to see how anyone could give this a good review or enjoy their stay given all the many better options near by.

• 556DavidC556 (4/5): we did a trip with an Australian company and right through the trip was great but i think we lost the friendliness - Poor service right across the stay interrupted many times in the room swimming lessons in the pool for kids every day Bar wasn’t stocked at all and a very tired hotel food in the restaurant was very ordinary as well i do realise we are in Vietnam but they didn’t seem to try and fix anything
• beckyp353 (2/5): Avoid Restraunt - Avoid restraunt!!!! We were in the middle of a meal when, out of the corner of our eye, we saw movement. On closer inspection, we discovered a RAT!!! He scurried down the side of the panel!. Rat droppings behind curtains suggest he been 'living' in the restraunt a while! Spoke to the restraunt manager, not a care was given. No apology. We did manage to get a photograph of where the rat came from (photo attached) but he stopped us taking photographs of the rat droppings. The following morning on checking out, we spoke to our tour guide, who explained to the manager of the hotel our concerns. Again, not a care was given, the receptionist half heartedly apologised on the managers behalf!! On paying the bill we discovered that no reduction had been given, we didn't expect the meal to be free but a small discount would have gone a long way!

• Hung (2/5): - My first stay at this hotel was a disaster. I had prepaid for a three-night stay from April 24 to April 27, 2025. During those days, the city was preparing for a major event, and some roads around the hotel were closed. However, guests could still navigate the area, sometimes by foot. My departing flight was scheduled for April 27, and I needed to reach the airport by 11 a.m. On April 26, I inquired at reception about road closures and was informed that the hotel's street would be closed from 3 a.m. to 12 p.m. on April 27. However, the closure was so strict that guests would not be allowed to leave the hotel during that time. Upon receiving this information, I had no choice but to check out early. Despite this, the hotel refused to refund or even offer a partial refund for the last night, which I was unable to stay. I also noticed that the hotel chain had another property near the airport and asked if I could transfer there at a reduced rate, but they denied my request. In the end, I had to book another hotel at my own expense, paying for two hotels on the same night. Even more frustrating was the fact that if I hadn't proactively asked about the road closures, I would have been completely unaware of the situation—potentially missing my flight. The hotel made no effort to inform guests about this significant restriction, which was extremely disappointing. considering this hotel, be aware that you're on your own. Do not expect any support or assistance from management.
• Harold (10/5): - The staff were very helpful and professional in solving a problem which arose through not fault of the hotel or ourselves.
• Bangaloreman2026 (6/5): Location in District 1 - Muong Thanh is prominent local hotel chain in Vietnam and this hotel is located conveniently in District 1, accessible to most of Saigon's attractions. Walk about and make the most of it. The swimming pool on the 11 th floor is great too. So is the breakfast spread, with several Vietnamese dishes. The receptionists at the front desk could be better. Either they need more training or their inability to articulate in English spoils an otherwise wholistic hotel experience.
