- GREGORY (8/5): - The location is great as you only have to cross the road to be on the beach. Great sunrises and sunsets and we will definitely do this again. We really liked our cottage and the only thing we could possibly mention is the mattress which could have been firmer but with all that fresh air, we slept really well.

The cottage was spotless and the kitchenette was stocked with everything necessary. Any questions and/or anything required were responded to quickly by the owner. We have returned to this property twice due to our excellent experience and would not hesitate to recommended it for people traveling for either business or pleasure.

- Sandra (6/5): Nice stay. - The cottages I stayed in were immaculate in terms of clean. Due to my length of stay I needed to change cottages but I knew this when I booked. I found that there was very little in terms of kitchenware: i.e. baking pans or a little foil. Bathroom supplies were minimal. However the view is beautiful but there is a busy road in between you and the beach. The cottages are newly renovated siding, doors and flooring. There is a lot positive about the area and it is close to a grocery store ( 7 minute drive). My only downside is my air conditioning in the first unit didn’t work and it was hot but they moved me early to my second unit. The kitchen tap needed to be repaired as well in the first unit. The AC in the 2nd was perfect. I didn’t have an iron or ironing board in the second unit and I needed such. I had an issue with ants in the bathroom which I am sure would be remedied had I found someone to speak with in person. There was no one at the desk when I arrived and no one in the office when I tried to make contact on the Thursday about the ants. Being close to the beach I’m sure that could be a regular thing that they watch out for but I was there just before high season and they squeezed me in. The bed was not comfortable for me (way to hard) and in my first cottage there was no bed side lamp. All things that are very small. Cleanliness was really good, they are very accommodating, and view is spectacular of the gaspe coastline. I think it is a fair price for what you get.

- Jill (8/5): - Beautiful location with lovely view of the water. Near a playground and the beach so great for kids. Cabin was clean and well kept. The kitchen was quite well equipped. Key was in box to pick up and no direct communication from the staff (written instructions in cabin). This is not necessarily bad but felt a bit odd. We did not realize there was a pub on the premises. This would be good if wanting entertainment but could hear the music from in the cabin.

- Sheila (10/5): Fun Short Family Stay - I was very impressed with these cute little cottages. We stayed in a 2 bedroom 1 level with a Queen in one room and a double in the other, perfect for our family of three. We had everything we needed for our 2 day stay. The couch was a little uncomfortable, but that’s pretty typical for a sofa bed. The view was amazing, and we loved sitting out on the front porch with coffee. We will definitely be back again next year!

I would recommend more bedding for those of us who like a cold room with lots of blankets. Also when it's time to change the decor, a move away from brown would be lovely. If you're a cook, bring a few utensils and a good pot. Only Keurig coffee, no maker. But very comfy, and the view is amazing.

- Verified traveler (6/5): - The location is great with a beautiful view of the beach! The cottage was clean and tidy but that is where the good ends. There was a fan upstairs that did not work, or it was all the electrical plugs that did not work upstairs. I could not plug in any personal items because they would just fall out of the wall outlets. We could not get the water kettle to work and the door lock was very difficult to lock. The screen on the door window was broken and there is no AC so we were very warm with out being able to open all the windows.

- George (8/5): Nice place, didn't like the fireworks - This was a nice cottage at a small resort geared for families. There's a nice view of the Baie de Chaleurs and a beachfront park across the road. The cottage includes a full kitchen, a nice front porch, strong wifi, and a comfortable living room in addition to the two bedrooms. For an extended stay, the full kitchen should be utilized, because there are not many restaurants in nearby Charlo. Charlo is a nice, quiet little town. I gave a low score to the local area, though, because a huge fireworks display got underway in the park across the road just as I was getting ready for bed. I don't know if this was a special celebration or a regular event, but the timing was most unfortunate for me. If you like fireworks, great, but if, like me, you are not a fan, you might want to check with the management when you make your reservation.
- Connie (4/5): - Key was left in a mailbox at office. Did not see staff.. 2 coffees pods supplied, but no sugar or creamers. All furniture and rugs were fr om the 70’s. Tired and should have been replaced. Remote location. We were told by phone we had to pay in advance, even thoughit was booked through Expedia with free cancellation within 24 hrs. Can’t sleep on this worn out mattress. Loft beds evenn worse. Reserved for 6 people, no sheets or blankets for couch, no one to ask for any.
- Justin (8/5): Oasis! - These classic cottages overlook the extraordinary Bay of Chaleur. A quiet road is all that separates them from the beach. This is rugged, breathtaking country and the cottages let you take it all in. Highly recommended for an escape from the noise of real life.

- Justin (10/5): Always a pleasure. - These cottages are in my home town. They overlook the Bay and the Gaspe peninsula. The smaller units (I had one this time) are really only practical for max three people in my opinion. These are simple cottages on an open field - clean and reasonably well appointed they are ideal for short visits. The staff are amazing.
- Holly (6/5): Only ok - Cons: We rented a non-smoking cabin (#3) and had to have the windows open the entire week we were there since it smelled so much like smoke. The pillows also stunk like smoke that we went and bought two. The mattress was very uncomfortable so we had to buy a foam mattress topper. Pros: Beautiful views and great area.
- monique (10/5): Little nest away from home - A very nice spot, close to the beach. The cottage is impeccable with all the necessities needed. We stayed 2 nights, not enough to enjoy the area, but then the cost during the high season is a little expensive.
