- Janet (10/5): -
- Virginia (8/5): -
- Monica (9/5): - The decor N/A
- Emma (10/5): Amazing! It’s how you should see the vineyard - Real edgartown
- Martin Slade (8/5): - Hope to stay again next year
- Fah Fatt (9/5): - Clean and comfy. Good kitchen facilities. Great location in Edgartown. The door next to the TV in unit 3 cannot be locked.
- Richard (7/5): A perfectly good place to stay in Edgartown - The accommodation was perfectly good for a short stay in Edgartown on Martha's Vineyard, close enough to everything you'd need. The bed was comfortable and room was well equipped. The carpets and furnishings could do with a good deep clean or replacing soon, just took the edge off what would have been an excellent stay
- Deborah (8/5): - Perfect location Relied on Internet use to get door code. As a traveller from the UK we dont have coverage and have to rely on WiFi spots
- robert (9/5): -
- Brendan (6/5): It was handy for downtown. - Location Not much room
Property dated
- Robert (8/5): - Location and neighborhood were quiet residential area outside of main tourist street.
- Elise (6/5): - More like an air bnb than a hotel. No concierge or check in. They just five you a door code to access the room. No maid service or fresh towels. We only stayed 2 nights so perhaps that’s the policy but still… the pull out bed in the suite had a terrible mattress - springs poking out. On the bright side, the location is wonderful. Walk to town and all of Edgartown. We don’t spend a lot of time in the room when we travel so overall if was just okay. If you’re looking for something with panache or luxury this isn’t it.
- William J (6/5): - Not fancy but cozy. Great location. Convenient Quiet.
- Duncan (8/5): -
- joan (10/5): Lovely quaint stay! - Stayed in room 5, really enjoyed it. Beautiful 4 poster bed. Picture perfect.
- Beach (8/5): -
- Taras (10/5): - What a wonderful place 1
- PATRICIA (8/5): - A great option if you are looking for a stay with a kitchen, living room area. New England charm. We had a few bumps with our stay. We were four people and had requested two extra pillows which took a few days to acquire. And unfortunately, the pullout sofa bed is an air mattress which sprung a lake and completely deflated the last night. That was a terrible situation for the two that slept out there. The difficulty is communicating with staff as they ask you to text. Customer service for a hotel really needs to be if not available in person certainly by phone. I’ve stayed here before and would I stay here again… Yes, I would. I’m sure they will make an accommodation for the situation. They’ve been helpful if not delayed so far.
- Sapna (10/5): - This is a road trip to Ed town. I must say lightkeepers in was a delight. They were super responsive. The accommodation was lovely and close to everything.
- Kasey (10/5): - Great location!
- Peter (10/5): - Walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, lighthouse beach; we were very happy with our stay. Look forward to visiting again next year.
- Kerstin (10/5): - Lovely spot . Great little kitchen.
- Ramesh (10/5): - Excellent condition
- Ralph (9/5): Had a great stay in a very comfortable home away from home. - Location Can’t think of anything.
- Paul (10/5): Loved it. - Perfect location. Clean. Good size for couples
- Akl (4/5): - The property is very dated. Doors are squeaky, floor is uneven, furniture is old, mattress is not comfortable. AC is a window unit. On the ground floor you can’t open the shades if you want privacy and room is very small.
- Briganne (8/5): Very good -
- Zarine (8/5): - Perfect location. Very close to the Main Street with all the shops. No need to drive a car. The staff working are very friendly. The room I had was older than the photos online. The fridge did not have a handle and was old. The carpet is also old with some stains. I had a second level room and the stairs are not wide. If you are a senior or have kids I won’t recommend the second floor room. I will recommend this Inn and will stay again when visiting Martha’s Vineyard. With parking and a convenient location I can’t ask for anything more.
- Vicki (10/5): Perfect stay - Well equipped, great location
- Cameron (10/5): - This property was perfect for what we needed. We were within walking distance to everything in Edgartown and the price was very reasonable. The rooms were clean and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again
- Patricia (10/5): Exceptional - What a great little place. Perfect location for walking to the local eateries and shops of beautiful Edgartown. The host Alison was incredibly accommodating and nothing was too much trouble.
Amenities in the cottage were great, everything you need. Sparkling clean throughout and a lovely comfy bed. Nothing
- Phil (8/5): Very good -
- James (10/5): - A lovely spot near the downtown, shopping, restaurants and the wharf. It had everything we needed.
- Rita (8/5): We enjoyed our time at the inn, but had an issue with the heat. We would definitely return for a visit! - The location was perfect and very clean.
- Anthony (8/5): Long weekend - Great location. Very clean. We will be back
- Luigi (6/5): - Heat only 1 day out of 3, shower has a big gap probably soaking foundation or framing, no one on premises
- Janice (10/5): - Would like to help by telling you that the bathroom door squeaks and could awaken people. A little adjustment would help.
- Virginia (7/5): It was fine considering we were only there for two nights. I would not want to stay there longer than a weekend. - The location was awesome to the activities at the wedding. It was a bit dated for the price they charged for a night.
- Richard (10/5): - Clean, quiet apartment close to the Edgartown waterfront
- Sara (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tresa (10/5): - Perfect location- very walkable to shopping and dining. Staff was always available via text and extremely accommodating. I’ll be back!
- Mary (8/5): - Very cute, comfortable beds, old fashioned, excellent cleaning staff, very friendly and nice.
- Buri (8/5): Very good -
- Elizabeth (5/5): Passable - Cute building We had bees, crickets, hornets in our room. Room was very hot as AC wasn’t really working.
- Kweku (8/5): Comfortable. Clean. Great location. Would stay there again. - Location excellent. Room comfortable and clean. Very few amenities, though. No water in the fridge or even to buy. No water to drink in fridge or to purchase.
- Douglas (10/5): Great spot - What a charming town and even better place. Very comfortable and great walkable location!
- Gary (9/5): Superb - Clean excellence house keeping. Bedroom small.
- Darace (10/5): - We had a lovely stay and look forward to returning next we come to MV.
- Kris (6/5): Pleasant -
- John (10/5): - Staff was very flexible and friendly. Room was exceptional, great location within walking distance to shopping, dining, and tours. Easy to catch public transportation to other towns on the island
- Virginia (9/5): Superb -
- Yota (10/5): - We loved the garden deck where we had dinner.
- William (10/5): Excellent - location great
- Mo (10/5): Exceptional - I wish I was able to stay longer. Had a problem with the key (my ineptness) and made a phone call listed. Someone answered in two rings and guided me properly to the correct door! I know it sounds silly but having been serviced like a "number" for the past ten years, it was exceptional to have problems solved on point.
The location was perfect and allowed us a short walk for dinner and breakfast in some very nice restaurants in E'town.
The Inn itself was cozy in a spacious way. Spotless room and kitchen area. Just spectacular!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Wonderful! - Very quiet, all amenities could need - full sized refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher, toaster, coffee with coffee maker, list could go on! Walking distance to town, restaurants, bus stop. Staff super helpful and responsive. Highly recommend.
- Amy (9/5): Great place, centrally located, kind hosts - We rented the cottage for one night. The staff was very helpful and allowed us to store our bags early in the morning and gave us access to our room well before check in time which allowed us to really take advantage of the whole day to bike around the island. The cottage was very roomy with it's own deck and grill, kitchen and separate living room so if we did bring our kids, they would have had their own space.
- Peter (9/5): We couldn't have had a better stay in Edgartown. - The Lightkeepers Inn was an easy walk to the waterfront, shops, and restaurants, and the bus station. Everything was clean and comfortable, and having a separate living room/dinette made for great comfort. I'm up early so having the extra room allowed me to move while my wife was undisturbed. We didn't have any contact with inn staff, but text messaging made communication work just fine.
- Tim (10/5): - Great locstaion. One block walk to downtown Edgartown. Upstairs unit with private deck was beautiful.
- David (10/5): Light keepers inn review - Very good overall and super comfortable bed. Nice and helpful host. The only minor negative is the couch was uncomfortable with cushions that had no support. Needs replacing. Overall B plus.
- Jerrie (10/5): We have stayed here several times and it is always a favorite! - We love the location - walking distance to town.
- Greg (10/5): - Lovely in town cottage. Walkable to downtown Edgartown. Quiet and serene. Will stay again.
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lance (10/5): - None
- Darlene (10/5): - Quick trip with my Mom and her first time on the island. She loved the cottage and personal touches. Definitely would stay there again.
- Felicia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Colleen (9/5): Great stay on MV. I would deystay at the light keepers inn again. - Staff was friendly, super helpful and attentive.
- christina (8/5): - Darling, cozy property in a great location with a convenient kitchen but could use some new carpet or flooring and beds. A little worn out. The staff was very helpful and location couldn’t be beat but definitely could use some renovations.
- Janet (10/5): Lovely place to stay in Edgartown. - Very well appointed inn, clean, well located, and friendly. Complete kitchen facilities is a plus.
- Romola (8/5): Nice base for a trip to Martha’s Vineyard - Great location for Edgartown. Check in was contact free, but worked fine. The bed was a little small and the mattress too soft for my taste.
- Thomas (9/5): Superb -
- Timothy (10/5): - Great comfortable place that’s very walkable to many spots you’ll want to check out!
- Michelle (8/5): Location, location… - Very good location, especially for the price. Room was nice and cozy, except for outdated/old carpet but would not prevent me from staying here again.
- Scott (10/5): - Very nice property. They let us have our room early and store our luggage when we left. It’s not as big as it looks in the pictures but still very nice
- Richard (9/5): Superb -
- Barb (7/5): Would stay again just for the location! - The location was FABULOUS! There is no onsite manager. We called multiple times for assistance during the evening and no one answered or called back.
- Lyn (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly innkeeper and staff. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable.
- John (9/5): Superb -
- sharon (10/5): - The property looks much better than its pictures. It’s in a very good location, walkable to the ferry or the bus stop not to mention all the shopping and dining varieties. Our rooms were very clean, but there is carpet in the main living space. If you are a coffee drinker, bring your own. They provided an old style coffee maker, (not a Keurig) and the coffee was horrible. So we still had to go out for coffee.
- John (10/5): - Everything was wonderful!
- Albert (7/5): Good -
- Amy (10/5): Quiet nice place - We made our own breakfast,it was good!
- Taryn (10/5): Strong recommend - Great stay! Incredible budget friendly option. Clean & convenient! Heidi is so helpful if you have any questions!
- Sherri (10/5): Love! - Amazing stay. Everything was perfect. The location is unbeatable. We would definitely stay again!
- Ronald (6/5): - The property is close to attractions. We found it to be quiet and peaceful.
The staff was accommodating and friendly.
The cons were that the unit we stayed it was a tight fit for a family of two adult and two small children. No way 4 adults could fit there. Also it was a bit pricey for what it was.
Would recommend to a couple.
- Kevin (7/5): Excellent stay on the Vineyard - Excellent spot. Nice and easy to walk to downtown. Comfortable and convenient. Check in was a breeze. Ferry traffic can be an issue. The road to the Ferry is crowded and can be an issue if your driving
- Sarah (10/5): - Great stay and wonderful location close to stores and restaurants.
- Jeanb22 (10/5): Excellent delightful little inn - The location was a block from Main St, 2 blocks from the bus, free parking. Very clean. Decorated very cutely. Nothing
- Dawn (10/5): - Highly recommend this inn. Extremely enchanting and close to everything.
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional - Location perfect. Property clean and well cared for Nothing!
- James (10/5): - Excellent place close to everything in Edgartown
- Matthew (10/5): Perfect Gem - Anne was very kind, it was a great quiet spot so close to downtown but just far enough out of the fray to be quiet.
We stayed with my wife and 2 year old daughter and the setup is perfect for a small family given the living room and bedroom. We put her to bed in the bedroom each night then moved her to the pullout air bed at our bedtime. She’s too big for a pack and play so this setup was ideal. Very clean, very responsive…will be returning!
- Martin (9/5): comfortable, great location and easy living - great location, quiet and comfortable. cute suit with all we needed ceiling was pretty low in bath, I’m 6’1” and had to bend down but that was not a deal breaker. pillows could be improved, just a minor detail.
- Lalit (10/5): - great staff, cozy, simple, convenient
- Stephen (8/5): - It was quiet and clean. Parking is a little awkward. We were inconvenienced by having to change rooms during out stay.
- Begona (10/5): Beutiful! - Amazing!
- Enma (10/5): Great place! - The staff was really welcoming and helpful! The place is walking distance to town and close to the beach. They have beach towels and chairs for you to use!
- alexandra (10/5): - Simply CHARMING!
- Richard (10/5): - Lightkeepers Inn is located a 3 minute walk from DT Edgartown and the water. We wanted to experience the MV lifestyle and did not want hotel style stay. LKI is exactly what we were looking for in MV, Convenient, Quaint & Clean. We stayed in the East Chop Suite, although on the second floor had a large private deck surrounded by beautiful flowers and perfect for starting the day with coffee, ending the day with a glass of wine and perfect for reading. Sincere thanks to Annie and Heidi for a wonderful stay.
- Charles (6/5): - The location is brilliant
