- Amber (10/5): - The Heroismo metro station is on the same block. Also, the Christina's cafe on the corner was quick and excellent for breakfast. The hotel itself was very clean, and well appointed. It was quiet and a lovely haven from the busy streets and sensory abundance in Porto.

Delay in check in because of shift change and one evening I thought I would have drink and dinner at the bar, but after one staff member brought me a menu, no one ever came back to take an order despite three staff walking around serving a handful of other patrons, or just standing around. So, after 20 minutes I left and made other arrangements.

- Harriet (8/5): - My friend and I each booked a room for 4 nights in this hotel. There was loud music from the bar opposite of the street. We could hear music from our room until 1 am in the morning. My friend, room unfortunately had a weak AC unit. They were feeling super warm on all the nights. They tried to get the hotel stuff situation but unfortunately no improvement could be seen.

- Anibal (10/5): - The staff made us feel welcome and at home since the first second we walked in. This is perhaps one of the best experiences we've had in a very long time. We were celebrating a birthday, and they surprised us with a bottle of champagne and a beautiful birthday note. The location is absolutely great. Within walking distance to the Metro station, and a bunch of local places to eat and enjoy without getting sucked into tourist traps. We'd come back here without a doubt.

- Mark-Wayne (10/5): Porto Stay - The Hotel was nice and clean and accross the street from the metro stop! The room and the bathroom were bigger than I have experianced in other hotels in Portugal. There were cafes in the area to get coffee if you choose not to do the breakfast at the hotel. Ate in the restauraunt once and it was so so, a bit expensive (4 euros for two small rolls).

- Doug (8/5): Nice hotel but not best location - The hotel was great. The location, while close to the train station, wasn’t in the best neighbourhood. The restaurant had great staff but the food quality of our steak was poor. The breakfast options were very good though.
- Mike (10/5): Michael Mestre - Great location - Heroismo station literally a minute to the right oppsite the Hotel.Modern hotel with good facilities and helpful attentive staff, lovely comfortable room, great stay.Good local bars and restaurants. My first time in Porto and i am in awe, such a beautiful city but despite the weather i still managed to see many sights and visit 4 cellars and sample the famous Port ( including a visit to The Douro valley).Looking foward to returning to Porto in the near future - with nicer weather and have no hesitation in staying at the Timbre Heroísmo again. MUITO OBRIGADO.

- Monica (10/5): We'll be back! - Loved the hotel and location. Many restaurants nearby, as well as the bus station and metro. Room was cozy. Appreciated having coffee in the room.
- James (10/5): - What we liked is that this was a real neighborhood, not just a tourist area. It was an easy walk from the main train station connecting to Lisbon. the hotel itself is spanking brand new and the bed was big and comfortable. Also less than two blocks away was an amazing local bakery (Chicana) which was amazingly cheap for that quality of pastries, bread and coffee. Their English is limited, but you will be fine. We did breakfast there every day and then walked to the main part of Porto (but we often walk over 20,000 steps a day when we travel -- FYI.)

The beds are big and pretty comfortable. Room service is doing magnificent job. I would definitely stay here again.

- Colin (8/5): Nice stay - A nice hotel. There is plentiful parking, and it is within walking distance of the historic district. It is not, I would say, in the best area. And I'm not sure if I would want to be walking about at night. But the property was very nice.
- Manjunath (8/5): Two night stay in Porto City Center area - The hotel is nice and clean, walking distance from most of the local attractions. There was no complimentary water provided in the room. The room service came in even though the no service request was hung on the door knob. The front desk didn't give any satisfactory reply upon inquiry.

- Alicia (6/5): - The property was very clean in the lobby & hallways. The daily cleaning was not so much. Each day house keeping left items in our room untouched that should have been cleaned. The front desk had one particular employee who worked the evening shift that was very nasty & unwelcoming. She was the pit of our stay at the hotel. The hotel rooms also could make better use of the space.

Hotel is an easy 20 min walk to the main area, there is a metro station across the road but wasn’t needed. Good breakfast selection, although the thimble like glasses for the drinks were rather irritating. Would stay again recommended.

- Philip (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay here. We booked a junior suite because we were here for 7 nights - the extra space made it very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were really good, and we ate in the hotel restaurant twice - lovely food and good value (discount for hotel guests). The hotel is right next to the metro, which is modern and a bonus for travel in the eastern half of Porto (good luck with the buses in the western half). The 3-day "tourist" travelcard is great value but can't be bought everywhere (nearest is Trindade station). We loved the local restaurant Nova Era - mainly locals, really friendly - recommended.

- Amit (2/5): - One of the worst. AC didn't work in one of the rooms and the staff couldn't do anything. The hotel controls temperatures remotely from their reception desk or whatever; the hotel keeps it very hot at night. There are abandoned buildings right in front of the hotel building with broken windows and doors (they don't show it in pics of course) Felt unsafe and remote from the city center. Absolutely not recommend.

Muy tranquilo y comodo. Very comfortable hotel on the outskirts of the center of Porto (twenty minutes walk to the center of Porto) A few minutes from the train station that connects Porto-Lisbon. Very quiet and comfortable.

- Constance (10/5): A great hotel in Porto! - Just came up to Porto for an overnight stay and chose Eurostars Heroismo mainly due to its relative proxity to the train station. We couldn't have been more pleased with our choice! The rooms are super comfortable and quiet, the bed and shower are to die for and the staff has been so lovely and accomodating. We will absolutely return to this hotel the next time we're in Porto.
- JUAN (10/5): - The staff were as helpful as you are going to find anywhere. They went out of their way to help and assist. The hotel is in very good condition, breakfast great and the hotel very conveniently located.

- Tracey (10/5): - The location of this property was within walking distance of most things I wanted to see. The restaurant and bar in the hotel were mostly empty in the evenings. I ate at the bar 1 time - food was ok and the drink was basic but good. The room was spacious and clean, the bed comfortable. The most important thing I want to highlight is the parking garage entrance is right next to the front door - it was easy to find and access. Lots of spaces, clean and an attendant on duty every time I went to my car. My car stayed parked until I was ready to leave Porto.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Eurostars Heroismo - Porto - Room size was adequate for our family of 3, linens were clean, room was clean, adequate closet size. Location was a bit further from city center but there was good parking and quiet at night. The breakfast buffet was convenient and had a good selection of food. The lobby was an inviting space and had adequate seating while we were waiting for our Uber rides.

- CARLOS (10/5): Good hotel, excellent location - The hotel is clean, staff is nice, the double bed is gigantic—but the best part is still the location. 10 minutes from the train station, 15 minutes to the opposite direction is Bolhão with all its bars and restaurants, and the subway is literally just across the street.

- Louise (8/5): - We arrived in Porto by train, at the Tourist Information office @ the Train Station, she told us it's very easy to walk to the hotel. It would've been easy if we didn't have our luggage or as my husband was having back problem. Anyway, by the time we finally arrived at the hotel, we were exhausted. But the staff quickly checked us in, very efficient. The room seemed to be very pleasant. If I had anything negative to say about the hotel, it would be you can't open the window fully, and they give you only a small box of Kleenex (probably consists of 3 pieces of Kleenex), although there're plenty of toilet paper. All and all it was a very pleasant stay.
- Liliana (10/5): - Excellent hotel location if you rather not be super downtown. The hotel is in good condition and provides the necessary services. I look for a good location, clean comfy bed, and some basic necessities. I was bummed it didn’t have an indoor gym.

- Joel (8/5): - I really like the property and the fact it has a parking lot, as parking is difficult in the area. Staff is very friendly, and there are good dining services. The only thing I did not like is the condition of the sofa that is in the room.
