- Laurie (8/5): - I loved that they have a small bakery right next to the restaurant that’s excellent. I ate their everyday I was there instead of the restaurant. Also they offer filtered water and offer glass bottles in the room instead of plastic. It’s a very small property but that’s fine. The pool is nice to have and the monkeys love to show up in the mornings. One thing is the upstairs balcony rooms have a lot of steps to go up to so if you have a problem, walking or with steps, consider taking a room on the ground floor, which I did..

- natalia (1/5): Unfortunately bad experience - The territory is beautiful. We had a serious incident involving suspected theft from the locked safe. After check-out, once we had already arrived at another hotel, we discovered that my wallet containing a significant amount of cash, bank cards, and personal belongings had disappeared from a bag kept inside the locked safe in the villa. The safe showed no signs of forced entry, which raises serious concerns that someone may have had access to a duplicate safe key. Considering that we stayed at the villa for only two nights and never removed the bag from the safe during our stay, it is highly unlikely that the wallet could have been lost or stolen anywhere else. Additionally there is a restaurant behind the villa and they have vey loud life music at late evening some days (not every day)

- Nathalie (9/5): Supermooi - Prachtige kleurijke Bohemia stijl. Superfijn terras bij de accommodatie. Hebben daar echt van genoten. Tuin en zwembad liggen er prachtig bij. Goede ligging. Leuk pad om lopend naar de hoofdingang van Monkey Forest te lopen. Leuk dat je de apen overal ziet.
- Jessica (10/5): Amazing place! - I loved my stay at Bali Bohemia and only wish I could have stayed longer! The rooms are set amongst beautiful, lush gardens with views of the monkey forest. My room was artistically decorated with vibrant colours and an incredible mural on one wall. The room was clean and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly here. I appreciated that drinking water was provided to reduce plastic waste. The restaurant provides incredible food and I really enjoyed eating here each day. The location was quiet and relaxing and perfect for visiting the monkey forest.
- Jacquelien (6/5): Aangekleding mooi. - Tuin mooi aangelegd. Onze kamer was aan de rand van het Apenbos. Zijn klommen via de kabels onze tuin in. Onze kinderen vonden dat niet fijn. Als er eten in de beurt was werden ze heel agressief. Eerder vonden we het niet fijn dat je buiten om naar de boven verdieping moest (ipv binnen door). Dit ivm kinderen.

Tolle Lage, um schnell ins Zentrum zu kommen. Monkeys absolut zauberhaft. Den 2 Mädels am Empfang beim Verabschieden einen extra lieben Gruß. Es war ein tolles, lustiges und sehr sympathisches Gespräch (Husband-Boss 🤣♥️)ich komme definitiv wieder Zu kurzer Aufenthalt, ja, daran bin ich selbst schuld. Jammern auf hohem Niveau: kein Kaffee im Zimmer gewesen und ich weit vor dem Öffnen des Restaurants wach ♥️ aber ich hab es lächelnd überlebt - versprochen

- potel (10/5): Very cool vibe - I definitely recommend Bali Bohemia if you are looking for a comfortable place to stay in Ubud but not in the noisy center. The staff is very nice and always happy to help. The restaurant is really good and they have great live music some nights of the week. And you will definitely see monkeys as the hotel is right next to the monkey forest. Just be careful not to leave the door open if you are not next to it because if there are monkeys around, they will come steal your food 😅

De Mediterrane Hippie sfeer. We hebben er een geweldig concert meegemaakt.

- Daniel (9/5): in the jungle - I stayed in the jungle room, which was outside the main area, so I didn’t have direct access to the pool. However, it wasn’t a big problem for me. I enjoyed the view of monkeys wandering around—they used to sit on my balcony and stare at me. It was such a great experience! The free coffee I was offered in my room wasn’t drinkable for me 😕. Sorry about that!

I loved the restaurant attached to it beautiful food and again decor Staff were friendly and very helpful even the taxi drivers were helpful and lovely one took us out for day to see sights . The monkey forset is right next door added bonus I just loved the whole thing while we stayed in Ubud . Nothing it was all perfect I couldn’t complain about anything at all

Juices are fresh and reasonable. Private swimming pool was clean. No fuss but bathroom showers need some repair work. We stayed in 2 bedroom villa but the bedrooms are on different floors and they aren't interconnected.

- Matzi P. (10/5): Perfekter Ort in Ubud - Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Zimmer sehr sauber und gemütlich. Die bunten Farben tragen zum wohlfühlen bei. Wir haben es als sehr ruhig für Ubud empfunden und hatten viel Freude mit den Affen die ständig auf den Dächern oder auch auf Dem Balkon oder im Garten unterwegs sind. Das Personal passt aber ständig auf, dass es die Affen nicht übertreiben. Der Pool ist klein aber wunderbar zum abkühlen. Essen im Restaurant empfehlenswert. Sind aber auch sehr viele andere sehr gute Restaurants in der Nähe. Für Vegetarier ein Paradies. Ein kurzer Spaziergang durch den Affenwald bringt einen mitten ins Zentrum. Geschätzt haben wir aber sehr dass das Hotel auf der ruhigen Seite von Ubud liegt und somit viel weniger Verkehr ist Alles bestens

Would be good for a longer stay, as it has a kitchen. Really cool vibe. Comfy beds and staff were nice. Restaurant is yummy and nice and healthy.

- Mona (8/5): It was such experience because it felt as I am staying inside a beautiful jungle full of fantasy - I liked the staff how helpful were they.. the food was amazing , the bohemian style and the events they are holding in the place .. the nature is unique and like fantasy .. also the rooms designed and colors is amazing The hygiene and cleaning was really not as the expected level.. the furniture is very dirty .. they can do better than this, the daily cleaning of the room was not quite professional, the furniture also is old and not maintained enough so it was creating noise all the time with any movement

- Caitlin (8/5): Gorgeous place but watch the monkeys! - Very pretty place to stay, clean and tidy with a nice breakfast in the front cafe. Main pool and villa pool were lovely and staff were mostly helpful. The monkeys! You are literally backed onto the monkey Forrest and there as so many! From the moment we were shown our 2 room villa there was already multiple in our back pool area that wouldn’t leave until the staff came with a broom. We were given slingshots in each area to pretend to shoot them if they came too close but this seemed to make them angrier. I stayed with my 2 daughters and they refused to sleep in the top level as to get downstairs you had to walk outside to go down the stairs. Not suitable for young children so they slept with me. We tried to change rooms but they were full. And didn’t seem to have any other suggestions to keep the monkeys away. Instead tried to charge an extra $20 for a bed downstairs for my children. They ended up sleeping with me. Morning was much better, only one monkey so we were able to swim. Aircon also wasn’t working in upstairs area.

The hotel itself was lovely, very nice, interesting decor, and furnished tastefully. The staff were absolutely great, very friendly, and willing to help with all enquiries. The attached restaurant serves tasty food, at a reasonable price, and comes highly recommended. My accommodation was the Jungle hut, slightly away from the hotel, and next door to the restaurant. The presentation was very nice, in keeping with the rest of the hotel, but.... You have many "ventilation holes" above the door, around windows, and between the walls and the roof. So in the evenings when you use the lights, you are joined by many flying critters. You also have a monkey wake up call at around 6am, as groups of monkeys clamber around all the surrounding tin roofs 😅

- Nai (10/5): - The rooms can use a few touch-ups such paint touch-ups, better lighting (room was very dark despite all lights being on), windows still had noticeable gaps despite being “closed” completely, and better curtain coverage in bathrooms. Otherwise, staff was amazing-10 out of 10! They were all so friendly and helpful. Restaurant food was amazing as well! I ordered room service every day. The property grounds were immaculate- I always saw staff cleaning and sweeping the property nonstop. Both rooms I stayed in (Thankful and Dream) were nicely decorated and spacious. Location was great too- right next to monkey forest, about 10-20 min drive from the hustle and bustle of downtown depending on traffic. Just be careful of monkeys appearing on your balcony if you decide to eat/drink on the balcony. Overall, a great peaceful experience!
- Allison (6/5): - Property is only 3 stars. The room had to be reclined. The room was not well insulated either. Decor is fun but very outdated. Staff friendly. I repeat do not do the nail or spa at this resort. I repeat do not do it. The lady messed my nails up. However she did agree to redo them but I did not want her touching me again. Yet the resort still charged me. My gel polish peeled off the same day. I went straight to the desk and told them. Monkeys everywhere which was scary. These are not nice monkeys. I had to call the front desk to escort me pasted these dangerous monkeys. I honestly was too scared to walk and enjoy the area. The restaurant food was good but horrible service. I had to flag down the waitress everytime. I will never return to this property. Staff was friendly. Pool area nice but water dirty.
- Rhonda (10/5): - Due to torrential rain, I ate at the property. The food was so good! Lots of variety. I needed to get a taxi but the Grab and Gojek apps kept canceling due to the rain. The front desk receptionist was so helpful in arranging a ride for me that arrived within 10 minutes . I was so grateful for the help. I love the hotel , the rooms and decor. Definitely reccommend.

- Jordan (6/5): Mold - Location was very good The vibe of the rooms are nice Staff very helpful There was a mildew/moldy smell in the room. The shower and the wall around it especially seemed very mouldy. Some of the furniture was dirty, same for the bedsheets and towels. The spoons they left for the coffee still had coffee on it. Overall, our stay was okay, apart from the unbearable smell of mold and mildew. Also, expect to see and hear lots of insects and animals during the day and night.

Problème d'eau chaude.. Qualité de l'eau dans la piscine principale pas bien gérer, sur dosage de chlore et ph pas bon.. Résultats yeux qui piquent sous l'eau. Odeur d'humidité dans la chambre.
- Ray (8/5): Een ware belevenis om hier voor paar dagen te overnachten - De sfeer en uitstraling van de kamers zijn echt geweldig. Je geniet er met een heerlijk tropisch gevoel. Het restaurant en het kleine complex heeft een hoog Hare Krishna gehalte en oogt er zeer gezellig uit! Zo ook de interieur van de kamers. De bedden liggen heerlijk met een klamboe. Altijd wel warmwater om in te kunnen douchen. Wifi is goed. Veel bezoek van brutale apen en s’nachts geluiden van Tokeks. De locatie bevindt zich vlak achter het Monkey Forrest park. Maar eigenlijk wordt je hier al veel met die Apen geconfronteerd. Je krijgt zelfs standaard een katapult meegeleverd om die beestje te verjagen. Via een sluip weggetje ( rechts afslaan vanuit de lobby ) kan je het park binnen een paar minuutjes bereiken. Op dit pad kom je heel veel apen tegen. Het slaap gedeelte was voor onze kamer boven en de wc is dus beneden. Dat kan wel eens vervelend zijn wanneer je midden in de nacht een paar keer even moet. Na verloop van tijd vindt je die apen niet echt leuk meer. Je kan echt helemaal niks op je balkon laten staan of ze pakken het en gaan ermee vandoor. Zelfs als je er pal bij staat/zit. Een gewone asbak wordt gewoon meegenomen 😃 Ik kwam een paar keer een kakkerlak tegen in ons kamer en er lande er zelfs één op mijn hoofd. Dus dat was niet echt tof. Check al je bagage op ongedierte voordat je hier weer vertrekt is mijn advies! Het restaurant ziet er erg gezellig uit met een leuke sfeer alleen de menu kaart is niet voor mij weggelegd. Hindoe vegetarisch. Voor Indonesisch eten of een continentaal ontbijtje moet je niet hier zijn. Gelukkig zijn er verder op een aantal mooie en goede gelegenheden waar je dat wel kan doen. La leke is een geweldig mooi restaurant echt een aanrader. En Black sheep heeft oa ook eigen gemaakte pizzas met een zeer goede eigengemaakte bodem echt top. Dus geen incl. Eten bij Bohemia huts boeken!!!

- Anouk (10/5): Mooi verblijf, top locatie en vriendelijk personeel - Bohemia is gelegen op een prachtige locatie naast Monkey Forest! Het zit in een rustig straatje, waardoor het centrum van Ubud dichtbij is, maar je je niet meteen bevindt in de drukte. Alle faciliteiten (leuke restaurantjes, koffietentjes, massages) zijn in dezelfde straat op loopafstand. Ideaal! Het personeel is vriendelijk en je kan ook ontbijten, lunchen of dineren bij het restaurant van Bohemia. Tot nu toe ons beste verblijf op Bali! Oja, en het bed waarin we sliepen was echt heerlijk en groot! We deden veel activiteiten op een dag dus dan is je rust ook belangrijk. (: Dus voor als je keuzestress hebt (net zoals ik tussen al die prachtige verblijven op Booking), is Bohemia echt een aanrader! Bedankt voor het prettige verblijf. - Laura (10/5): - Eine wunderschöne, einzigartige Unterkunft mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Jeden Morgen wurden wir mit Namen begrüßt und gefragt ob das Zimmer sauber gemacht werden soll. Wir konnten am Pool teilweise beobachten wie die Affen in den Bäumen klettern. Es war wunderschön.
- Steven (10/5): Highly recommended - The rooms are comfortable and funky with hand-painted art and details. Mosquito netting for the bed, but the bugs actually weren't too bad. There were plenty of good eateries nearby. It was very special to stay so close to the Sacred Monkey Forest!
- Jennifer (8/5): With a little extra TLC and focus this would be just perfect. - Quirky room Lovely staff Felt safe and secure In a beautiful part of Ubud, easy walking distance to Ubud central but lovely to get away from the hustle and bustle Right on the edge of Monkey forest on a beautiful quiet street, with lots of great places for coffee and food. Lovely to walk down without all the noise that comes with busier areas. Great open mic night in a Thursday, other nights are very quiet. Nice speaker! Great a/c and fan Comfortable bed and net. Small but peaceful clean pool, heated by the sun so beautiful on a hot day! I have given this feedback directly to the hotel already. Better attention needs to be paid to housekeeping, more maintenance needed - curtains need repairing/cleaning as do windows. The bohemian style lends itself to being a bit shabby which means it needs a bit more focus to get rid of dust. Location - which I lived for the quietness takes ages to get to by car/bike because of traffic from central Ubud.

- Maia (6/5): - The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful- and this location is perfect for those wanting all the convenience of Ubud without being in the hustle and bustle. The neighborhood is beautiful and it is right next to the monkey forest! The facilities have a lot of potential but unfortunately we’re simply not clean or well kept. The curtains, bedding, sofas and shower curtains are all very stained and had holes- and the room was not clean at all. I think an investment in new soft goods would go a long way. If location is a priority- you really can not beat this area.
