• Faai (7/5): Great choice for a short stay. - Comfortable bed and pillows. You can also request for an additional pillow so this is great for side sleepers. Polite staff, clean bathroom, and warm shower. For the price, we were honestly really impressed. Sound-proofing does not exist here. We were able to hear big groups running up and down the stairs, arranging furniture in their room(s), etc. We stayed on the second floor though, so those sensitive to noises should try and book the rooms on the upper floors.

• Steven (9/5): Nice one day layover - The Hop Inn has been one of the nicest properties for its value. The Hotel is immaculate, not just clean, but impeccably immaculate. Beds are very comfy, nice linens,flat screen, tiny fridge, very quiet, late check out fee til 5pm was $14,…manager seems a little “uptight” and needs to breathe and relax. Her employees seems frightened of her. Not sure, but I will check w/ my bank, but I was charged a PAYPAL AIRALO additional charge of $3.61 USD in addition to my late check out charge.

• Anna (7/5): Minimalistic, good value for money, nice staff - Good value for money Minimalistic style - you have everything as a concept (you have a balcony, but you can't sit there, you have a rack for closes, but tiny and so on) As a design sensitive person I was just wondering how is it possible to fill the whole space with straight lines and angles. Looks like pediatrician cabinet in the hospital. If not the tree opposite the window I was going crazy there very soon. A piece of hand soap in the bathroom and a kettle in the room would be a really nice add on.

• Benjamin (10/5): Great hotel as always :) - I liked the location, it's close to the bus station. It's also close to the Indochina market, Friendship Bridge, and an evening walking street. The price was reasonable, and the front desk helped call a taxi to take me to Robinsons when my shoe broke (old shoe, the bottom literally became unglued :O). There also was free unlimited coffee from 6am to 10am. There's also a little mini-mart downstairs too. Hop Inn is a chain of basic hotels in Thailand that is consistent regardless which hotel you stay at. The rooms are bright, but simple, private, and safe. I wouldn't recommend this chain of hotels for people who are coming here as a tourist on their only trip to Thailand, but it's great for local tourists who need to visit other cities. I will stay again.

• Benjamin (10/5): Great place for a quick stay - The room was big and comfortable. The air conditioner was cool. It's about 20 minutes away walking from a night market, and about 30 minutes away walking from the Indochina market. It's a good place to stay for border bouncing from Thailand into Laos. The hot water was very temperamental. Sometimes the water would come out cold, other times very very hot. There isn't a kettle in the room, but there is a fridge. There is free coffee down stairs. Surprisingly, there isn't a 7/11 close by.
