Guest Reviews
- Stephen (10/5): Great place to stay - The accommodation was excellent, clean, well appointed and good size. Very wide varity of food to choose from for breakfast. Very close to train station and in easy walking distance to town centre.
- Nick (10/5): Toulouse you don't lose you win! - Enjoyed my stay at this city centre hotel
- Tim (10/5): - Great location, centrally located with the train station within a 5 minute walk.
- Michael (8/5): - Very good. Would recommend and stay again
- Alexander (4/5): description does not match reality - Our stay began with waiting about 10 minutes for somebody to check us in, then the lady came - no "sorry for waiting," nothing like that. The attitude is the main thing we did not like here.
Bathroom: The room is specifically advertised as having a "glass-enclosed shower." However, our room did not have one, just a bathtub - no curtains, nothing. Who came up with such an idea?
Gym: The gym is advertised as a "well-equipped gym." However, there are only 5 cardio machines in the empty room - nothing else, literally (no weights, mats, etc.).
The only thing we liked was that the room was spacious.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Room not clean and no cleaning services - Hotel only cleans the room every 8 days. You need to take your own trash out to the parking. If you need towels or toiletries, you need to go to reception to get them. All the dirty towels have to stay in your room for 8 days for them to get once they clean.
Room itself wasnt that clean with the carpet having visible stains.
- Rocio (10/5): - Very nice hotel close to train station and downtown highly recommend
- SERGIO (8/5): - Clean, comfortable room in convenient location for bus and train connection. Some homeless around, not uncommon in big cities.
- gary (8/5): - I liked having a kitchen
- Peter (8/5): - Right by train station. Large clean room, and quiet. However, tub in bathroom leaked onto floor. Not a big deal, but needed attention.
- Chen (10/5): - Good value
- Jeremy (10/5): 4 star aparthotel in an excellent position - The hotel is on a brilliant position opposite the bus station for transport from and to the airport. We couldnt have been any nearer. Also the Matabiau Rail Station is directly opposite the hotel. We utilised noth the bus and the train. The hotel is very modern and clean. Our room was a good size as was the bathroom.a kettle and cooking facilites are provided in the room as well. The main town square was walkable in 10 minutes or so. We only stayed one night after a few days in Lourdes. If we were to stay in Toulouse again we would definitely use this hotel.
- Joe (10/5): - Very clean laundry room, great location.
Walking distance within dining sightseeing, and shopping.
Highly recommend it.
- Zulmajdi (10/5): - Near main station
- robert pierre (10/5): - Great hotel . Wonderful staff. The room
Is quite spacious and comfortable bed .
Quiet . Breakfast is adéquat . Will return
- Elie (10/5): - The location is prime, and the ratio quality to price is really high.
- xuan (10/5): - The room is very spacious and comes with a lot of amenities like microwave and kitchen utensils
- MOHAMMED H (4/5): Bad value for money - I do not consider this as hotel. Housekeeping is not available. And they ask you to pay a deposit that is not mentioned here. They also ask you to take your trash before you leave & clean kitchen !
- Scott (10/5): - Nemea Toulouse was convenient and the rooms were spacious (by France standards). Parking was on site and convenient. I would definitely consider staying there again when in Toulouse.
- Nicholas (2/5): - Bedsheet were not cleaned.
Bathroom was clogged, water wouldnt go
- Annalise (10/5): - Spacious suite, nice sauna and hottub
- Kathleen (10/5): - Big room, comfy bed and plenty of pillows.
- Gabriela (8/5): - Poor neighbour hood but excellent conditions for a very fair price. Nice surprise!!!
- Jennifer (10/5): - Great property, super aircon and a lovely bathroom!
- Sukhjinder (10/5): - Great place for the price. Spacious room and comfortable bed. Walkable and right opposite the train station. Has cooking facilities for a night in.
- Marc (10/5): - This apartment hotel is well equipped, spacious and very close to both the bus and rail stations. It is a short walk to the city centre.
- Hugh (10/5): - Good rooms with high quality fixtures and fittings. Not quite as flash as it looks from the advertising photos.
- DENNIS (2/5): - We were unable to check in...the only road to hotel was closed. People everywhere...Toulouse vs an Irealand Rugby Team play off games?????
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Very convenient to station, staff helpful, but aircon didn't seem to work well
- Randy (8/5): - We had a corner room that had nice lighting. The shower stall was broken and I didn't like doing the dishes upon vacating.
- Christian (8/5): Nice hotel but have to empty bins - Very nice stay at this hotel. The only negative is having to empty your own bins or face a fine.
- Richard (8/5): - Close to both city centre and transport links. Clean, comfortable and spacious with great views. Good value.
- GREGG (10/5): - Nice clean room with comfortable bed. Very easy walk to train station. This is a good one.
- Tymoteusz (10/5): Great views from SPA on 9th floor - Very clean and spacy, the spa centre (jacuzzi and sauna and the fitness centre) were amazing. 9th floor view was amazing too.
- James (10/5): Niiiice - Really good
- Crystal (6/5): - This property is definitely not a 4 star property. The room was fine, very large especially by European standards. I used the laundry facilities but that made them smell worse than before I washed them. They do not service rooms, so no new towels, no extra toilet paper, etc. They also require you to take out your own trash, which is wild and something I’ve never had to do at any place I have stayed. They should advertise the lack of room refreshing. It is common now for it to only be upon request, but it is only happens here after 8 days.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Ok but staff could be more friendly and helpful - The rooms were clean and modern. Beds were comfortable but pillows not. The shower over the bath was very difficult to use and slippery. The staff were not very friendly nor accommodating in either early checkin (which we were happy to pay for) or trying to get our two rooms closer together.
- Claire (8/5): - Only complaint would be that the hallway is a bit loud in the mornings
- Egbert (10/5): Great stay ! - Excellent apart Hotel. Large room, great to have a nespresso machine and a kettle. Very conveniently located opposite the train and coach station.
- RAMESH MOHAN (10/5): - Good location, clean and good size room, close to all tourist attractions.
- Muriel (10/5): Great stay close to station and centre - Great stay in comfortable studio for two.
- Jennifer A (4/5): Never Again - The staff was less than friendly and definitely not helpful. The 14-year-old breakfast consisted, prepackaged, pastries, and canned fruit along with scrambled eggs that were actually liquid. The bed was hard as a rock and the walls were paper thin. I could hear everything going on throughout the entire floor. From people going to the bathroom and showering to talking and yes, having sex!
- Kyle (10/5): - 2 steps from the Toulouse Matabiau and so walkable, to all the sights and shopping; didn’t use transit once. I didn’t opt for breakfast so don’t know how it was , front desk people were unfriendly for the most part but other than that a very friendly city! Would defintiely reccomend as a solo travel destination to meet friends!
- Christel (10/5): - Would highly recommend especially if you are travelling by train or bus. Metro is right there as well
- Eleanor (8/5): Large, comfortable room, but not very welcoming. - A first-class hotel, but reception could have been friendlier. Also, the kitchen provided a coffee maker with no coffee and a hot water heater without a single tea-bag. Other 3- and 4-star hotels offered these amenities, plus bottled water, which Nemea AppartHotel did not.
- Tim (8/5): - Located directly opposite Matabeau TGV/rail/Metro station so excellent transport links. Decent local restaurants and local groceries.
Hotel breakfast at €14 a little expensive: the aforementioned local restaurants offer breakfast about €5 cheaper.
Comfortable room - esp. bed - and proper bath/shower. Room has unusually plentiful plug sockets.
Two negatives: bathroom has no shaver point and you don't get any tumblers in the bathroom for tooth washing.
Summary: would use again.
- Eric (6/5): - Room was fine but the staff when we arrived were very rude. We tried to check in early but all she would say was “3Pm”. Not once did she ever check with house keeping to see if our room was ready. Both women were unfriendly and unhelpful.
- Jeffrey (2/5): - First night was quiet. The gentleman that checked us in was lovely. 2nd night absolutely terrible we could hear footsteps, thumping, toilers flushing. We asked front desk to help us - no help at all!!! She got frustrated at me because I did not speak French. I am in your country for a World Cup event full of tourists, no respect at all and not helpful - I felt as though they looked down on me because I was not from there. Not happy with the customer service or overall experience at this hotel very disappointed
- david (10/5): - We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, on arrival we were welcomed by very friendly and helpful staff, we found our room spotlessly clean, very comfy and spacious. Great location too opposite the train and bus station.
We highly recommend.
- Georges (8/5): - Good place to stay near the train station
- Mark (8/5): - Property was very nicely renovated and room was VERY clean. Front desk staff needs to go to hospitality school as they were not warm or welcoming and made us feel like we were inconveniencing them by checking in. We’ve been travelling for three months and the first impression comes from the front desk staff, who were awful, including the manager who was standing right there. It’s a shame because the hotel rooms were great, location close to metro, and building quiet. Cleaning staff were very helpful and nice. They should be promoted to the front desk. That would have made for a much nicer check in.
- John (10/5): Toulouse stay - Very good.
- Patricia (4/5): - It would be very nice . The problem is the total lack of soundproofing. And the street in front of the windows is busy most of the night.
- Luigi (6/5): - The room was very quiet and in good condition, spacious and all the necessaries.
The mattress was decently supportive, but nothing exceptional and the cover was full of stains and hairs. A bit gross.
Also, I'm allergic to dust and I noticed the air filter were not clean at all and I could smell the dust in the air. Not great.
Overall it's ok.
- Guenola (6/5): - The room on itself with bathroom were both clean and tidy . My only concern is at the check in . I have been asked to pay for my room while it was already paid with Expedia . Then I requested an invoice with tax de séjour and parking separated . The communication was not clear enough . Nothing against the receptionist they try to do their job but when you get deliver the wrong information it is frustrating . Except this issue the hotel is well located with secure parking .
- Daniel (10/5): - One of the best places we stayed in France. Too bad we were only there for just one night.
- Cristel (6/5): 3 ½ Stars Hotel - I wish they would disclose the parking fee prior to booking. It is $12 per day + taxes which came out to $16.xx also the remote inside the room has supposedly Netflix and what not and it did not work. The tv did NOT have those features. Bathtub is okay, the water temperature is messed up, you put warm and every 3 seconds extremely hot water comes out. Also, it seems like there is no housekeeping and i only received ONE tiny bottle of shampoo and ONE tiny soap for TWO adults which is ridiculous. Bedroom is good size and bedsheets were cleaner the first time. I reserved 3 different days. NO POOL. Wifi seems decent. Be ready to pay more taxes upon arrival. Around 4 euros per night.
- marilee (10/5): Bright & Clean & Friendly - I have stayed at this hotel at least 3 times before and find it a lovely place. It is clean and bright, the staff are always helpful. I usually get a studio room with a kitchen. This trip the weather was very hot, so the air conditioning was extremely appreciated. It is located right across from the train station and the bus to the airport and all of Toulouse is close enough to walk to, tho when the temperatures are this high learning how to use public transportation might be useful.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Definitely not a 4-star hotel. - Hotel is close to train station and room size was ok. We booked for 3 nights, and they provided only 1 tiny face soap, and a half uses roll of toilet paper. Closet was a mess with bucket, mop, vacuum cleaner and ironing board, so I had to reorganize things to make space for hanging clothes; and hairdryer was missing. Kettle was not clean inside. The sliding door of the kitchen dropped down in the middle of the night and gave us a big shock. Chairs were very low and not suitable for working at desk. The air conditioner made a loud noise when set to low fan level.
They could have made our stay more pleasant had they paid more attention to the details and provided a little more supplies.
- joe (10/5): - Great
- David (8/5): Decent hotel, ideal for station - Decent enough hotel, no coffee making facilities unless you upgrade which I think is just mean. Ideal if you need the station, but not much in the way of restaurants etc in the immediate area.
- Edmund (10/5): Great location and room decor - Room decor was beautiful. Particularly impressed with the bathroom furniture and shower which was great.
- Dirk (6/5): - The room was smelling to sigarettes.
- Andy (10/5): Great centrally located hotel - We have stayed in many hotel rooms on this trip, but i would say this room was the best.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Stains on sheets and towels. Communication was good though
- Thata (8/5): - Great place to stay when in TOULOUSE. Happy with service and proximity to all shops; restaurants; train stations. I’ll be back -)
- Laura (8/5): - Good location and price. Clean modern. Simple.
- Neil (10/5): Easy Access - Very close to main station so easy to get to from airport on T2 Tram for e1.70
- Verified traveler (8/5): - the Property is infront of Midi Canal # Beautiful view
- Gul (8/5): Good location - Good location. Just opposite the rail station and 25min walk to the city centre
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Location to the train station very handy.
Air conditioning switched off and it was very uncomfortable in the room.
Lights flickered constantly/brightly in the bathroom
- Barbara (8/5): Great value and pleasant stay - Great location, comfortable and clean. Somewhat noisy due to road noise.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good for a short stay - Good hotel with reasonable breakfast. There is small gym, sauna and Jacuzzi. The only thing is the room’s kitchen was closed without any given reason. Also there is no room cleaning unless you stay more than 8 nights. You need to ask for soup bars from the reception. Staff were very helpful.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Very convenient location being directly opposite the Central train station. Friendly reception.
There was NO house keeping when the hotel website says limited house keeping. Each extra towel cost €12.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Lov
- DARREN (6/5): Kinda ok - Its ok. Room was nice enough and good size. Breakfast was good. Service was average. Just all ok. But that’s ok.
- Mark (6/5): - Aircon in room didn’t work.
- Terri (8/5): OK - Great secured parking. Appreciated the much needed laundry facilities on site. Room was spacious and clean, well equipped. The hotel is directly across from the train station and is a bit sketchy, lots of homeless people. Local area restaurants are cheap and adequate, but no charm or good dining options. Our only issue was the surprise that towels aren't changed daily. Maybe we should have guessed since this an apartment style hotel, but we were surprised to learn it would cost 12 euros for clean towels our second night!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Superb! - Stayed in the hotel many times while working in Toulouse! Great room and service! Highly Recommended!
- Thomas (8/5): Dodgy neighbourhood, but lovely hôtel - Really nice hotel and really lovely, helpful staff.
The rooms are really cosy and trendy and have handy additions like a fridge freezer, an ironing board and a microwave.
The local neighbourhood was a little rough, but the hotel was very secure and, on the upside, it was within walking distance of two metro stops and the shopping centre.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The property was right by the train station so it was easy to get to. The reception area was very nice and the breakfast was quite good! We used the exercise room for elliptical, biking and rowing. The hot tub was also nice. The biggest drawback was that the wifi did not work because the line had been cut and all of the businesses near did not have WiFi. The staff were wonderful and all spoke English which was a big help since so many other businesses didn’t have English speakers.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The hotel itself was clean and had a friendly staff (especially Diana from housekeeping). It was perfect for what we needed. Parking within the hotel was a blessing and worth the ADDITIONAL cost. The hotel was a 30 minute walk from cultural and tourist attractions. Site seeing is NOT recommended after dark because the hotel is situated in a seedy neighborhood in which we in fact witnessed prostitutes soliciting their favors down the street from our hotel.
- margaret (8/5): Perfect spot. - Perfect for a one night stopover. Close to the railway station, which was handy! And very reasonable price!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Clean & Bright - I stay here when I'm in Toulouse because it is convenient to the train station and the bus to the airport. I always seem to be trying to get 3 suitcases someplace and the closeness is such a help. The hotel is clean and bright. The staff always helpful. This last stay with temperatures in the 80's & 90's F, the air conditioning was such a bonus. They have rooms with kitchenettes, which are nice for longer stays.
- alan (10/5): very nice hotel nearby train station - nice hotel in a great spot nearby train station (2 min walk). Only stayed 1 night. sometimes some rabble nearby in the streets but harmless. rental bikes available nearby.
- Timothy (10/5): Fine Hotel across from Train station - We highly recommend this hotel.
We really enjoyed our 2 nights in this hotel. The staff was professional, friendly and helpful. The room was extremely comfortable. The access is step-free. It is possible to roll a bag from the street to the room. The bed was very comfortable. There is a small kitchenette with utensils, sink, microwave, hot water kettle. It does not include daily maid service, which is fine with us. The air conditioning was soooo welcome during the heat wave.
The neighborhood is a little gritty, but fine.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Well located with modern comfortable rooms. Easy access to city centre and eateries.
- Ara (6/5): Efficient but poorly maintained hotel apartment - This is a hotel apartment property located very close to one of the Toulouse train stations. The rooms are tiny but efficient. The biggest problem of the property is that it is not well maintained. The carpets in the hallways are dirty and smelly. The rooms smell of cigarette smoke. The property is located in a seedy area (strip clubs, bars etc) with shady characters all around. There isn't much to see in the area and it's a good walk from the city center.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Modern, clean, and convenient. Underground parking was a plus. Location is across the street from the train station. Area has conveniences such as corner store, bakery, restaurants, but also a number of homeless people in this area.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Large rooms; Lumpy pillows - We had two rooms. In our room, the kitchenette area was unavailable behind a locked shutter. (We guessed it contained a sink, hotplate, microwave and jug based on the other room).
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Breakfast was not included in the price; they wanted to put a €150 hold on a credit card;
- IAN (8/5): - Great location.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Everything was excellent until we wanted a cup of tea in our room. It meant a trip to the supermarket to buy everything needed and to be served by a less than happy check out guy. First time ever for this to happen and we have travelled a lot.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - My bedroom was spacious and comfortable, but there was no kettle provided to made an early morning cup of tea.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very convenient to the railway station so we go out across the road speak French, extremely helpful when I was booking in the sauna and repair the spa is excellent
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful clean and well located
- Joan (10/5): - It was on a great location and felt like a 5 star hotel!
- Sarah (8/5): - Very friendly staff and clean large rooms.
- HUNG (8/5): - Stayed at NEMEA because it is in front of the GARE Matabiau.
Good, clean, secure hotel with good size room. Modern furniture and comfy bed.
- Robyn (8/5): Comfort and parking for a short stay - This is a relatively New appartment hotel where our room was spacious, but the kitchen section was locked off (a half roller blind) - hence no electric kettle or coffee in-room. Otherwise, a lovely night. The reception was welcoming and quickly enabled our parking. He booked us in and provided maps and advice about the city. The room was spacious, bed comfortable and lots of shelving and hanging space. The bathroom had a spa bath - a little lost on two 70 year olds with only one night before another long drive - for us a walk-in shower would have been fine. Everything worked and water was hot - terrific! The hotel location is on the street on the other side of the canal, opposite the main train station - very convenient! It is an easy 10 minute walk to the centre of the old city - with a Lidl, express Carrefour, two good bakery/patisseries along the way. The centre city is great fun - we need to return for a longer visit!
