- Tammy (8/5): - Owners are sweet and property is very clean but the property is old. The heater is ancient and has a melted knob and it was hard to regulate the temperature. My husband got shocked every time he touched the controls. Concern of fire hazard there.

The downside was that the walls must be thin as the room next door had the TV on all night long and we could hear it in our room. So, be aware that might happen.

- glenda (10/5): - Our stay was wonderful. First of all, we needed an early check-in since the wedding we were attending was moved up in time. Called a few days ahead of time and talked to Sally. She arranged for the cleaning staff to have our room early. Arrived early and everything was perfect. Will be staying here every time in Maggie Valley. This is a down home feeling Inn. Everything you need for a comforable stay. Nothing fancy (no pool or indoor bar). We never use those anyway. Easy walk to park, gas station, stores, restaurants and putt-putt.

- Richard (10/5): Maggie Valley getaway - When I first entered the office I was greeted by two lovely ladies. They were very cordial and welcomed me and my wife to their motel. Our stay was pleasant and anytime I had a question about Maggie Valley they were more than ready to help. All in all it was a comfortable stay at a very nice resort.

- Robert (8/5): Nice clean no frills motel - 3% credit card fee!!! - Nice, clean facility with neat and orderly rooms. Furnishings are dated but in good condition. There is a small window AC unit that cools the room adequately. Please be aware that the Inn charges an additional three percent (3%) fee if you pay with a credit card. This is not disclosed until you check in. There is a note in the Hotels.com confirmation that says “you’ll pay the property directly in its local currency, along with any additional charges and fees incurred during your stay”. So, if you do not want to pay an additional 3%, prepare to pay in cash.

- Verified traveler (6/5): - The room was immaculate but smelled musty when we opened the door. Needs to be open to fresh air during the day when not occupied and if not, the AC needs to run all the time. Also, even though immaculate, the carpet was very soiled whether permanent or not. The bed was pretty comfortable. The room was quiet. It has been a very long time since the furnishing were updated. Bathroom was small and old but very clean.
