Guest Reviews
- Elizabeth (10/5): -
- Michelle (10/5): One of the most hospitable experiences ever. It was so charming and I felt so special being able to stay there. - Such a charming boutique hotel! The staff at Zetter Marylebone was absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond to welcome me and made my stay so memorable. A special thank you to Sam the bartender for terrific conversation and wine recommendation. My room was perfectly sized and comfortable. The location was so convenient to the Tube, buses and more. I really can’t say enough! I will be back soon! Not one thing. I loved it.
- Susan (10/5): -
- Stephen (5/5): Standards at the Zetter have markedly slipped. - Poor breakfast—coffee was bitter, porridge weak, toast overdone, took too long. Room was handicapped, which we’d not requested. No bathtub. Nothing in minibar as there used to be.
- Guy (10/5): - We were at the Zetter for our wedding nights and had the best time ever. We were very well looked after by all the staff and couldn't have asked for a better stay. Thank you!!
- Sophie (10/5): What a hotel is meant to be…. - Our stay was sublime, from the moment we stepped in we were taken care of and made to feel like it was a home rather than a faceless hotel Nothing, it was perfection
- Leonora (10/5): I would stay here again and would recommend it specially for a single person, as I am, or a couple, - It felt very 'English' as opposed to a more sanitised international place. So an extension of an excellent London experience. Room small but everything so carefully thought out and considered it did not feel cramped. Details considered from lighting, taps to hot water bottles and at the front, filled with interesting 'stuff' and a fabulous bar.

- John (10/5): Incredibly charming and comfortable. Look forward to visiting again. - This place was so charming. Both the staff and the property. It truly felt like home.
Beautiful decor. Kind, always attentive staff.
Andrea and Chai in particular were above and beyond.

- Dinara (10/5): Will be back soon for the vibes and cosmopolitan at the parlour as well as the team - It was totally my kind of place. Loved the location, the feels, intimacy and sense of home. Interiors, colors, bedding, lighting modes! Didn’t want to leave the room to be honest. Superb job, guys. Special thanks to Ami, Andrea and Mercy ♥️ Loved everything

- ronaldmG6151RX (10/5): Marvelous Botique Hotel With Even Better Staff - This small boutique hotel in the charming Marylebone neighborhood is quite simply exceptional in every way. Moreover , the staff are incredibly helpful, kind and engaging and the overall vibe is a feeling not unlike staying with old friends.
- amanda (9/5): Lovely stay at a beautiful boutique hotel with fantastic staff. Highly recommend. - The individuality and quirkiness. The bed was so comfy. Food was very good and the staff went above and beyond. Special thank you to Sam who really looked after us. Nothing really. Maybe some hooks by the shower to hang a towel would be helpful.

- Adrian (9/5): - Staff friendly as usual, and room spotlessly clean also.
- Victoria (10/5): Perfect! - The staff were excellent and the hotel was beautiful and cosy. Nothing.
- Ephi (9/5): -
- Tali (10/5): Beyond charming location, comfortable bed and pillows, lovely decor—all around excellent - Beyond charming location, comfortable bed and pillows, lovely decor—all around excellent

- Charles (10/5): An extraordinarily charming and comfortable hotel, elegant and sophisticated - It is a very beautiful hotel, amazingly furnished, small and intimate. Our room had a four poster bed with the union jack as the canopy, so you could literally lie back and think of England! The staff were extremely helpful and kind, bringing some delicious hot tea and honey to the room at bedtime as my wife had a headache. Generally, an exceptional place and an unusual pleasure. It would have been nice if the continental breakfast, at least, was included in the price, which was quite understandably rather expensive, but that is not really a major complaint.
At the time of our visit, the television in the rom wasn't working, but personally I was happy with that as I don't like television!
- Evdokia (8/5): -
- Richard (7/5): - Quirky, beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, great location, friendly and helpful staff. Expensive considering there was no breakfast included.
We paid for breakfast which was over £50 for a small omlette, eggs Benedict, 2 oj's coffee and tea. All nice enough, but better value is easily available nearby.
There also was no well lit mirror in the room, which was a minor nuisance.
- Stuart (9/5): -
- Susanne (10/5): Absolutely pleasant experience, would definitely come back and recommend. - Design, decor, coziness
- Sarah (10/5): Magical cosy hotel that makes you feel a million miles from the hustle of London - Everything. We were in a junior suite and the room was amazing. Brilliant interior style touches that just made it stand out from other hotels.
- Sharon (9/5): Warm and cosy in the heart of London. - The cosiness of the hotel was a big plus and when we arrived, the hotel had a wonderful log fire burning. A welcome treat after getting completely soaked in torrential rain. The breakfast waitress didn't write down our breakfast order and when it arrived it was incorrrect.
- Valentina (5/5): - Area is wonderful and convenient. room assigned: in the basement, dark, close to the kitchen, facilities and maintenance. I asked for an upgrade and it cost 200 pounds.
- A. Benz (10/5): - Great bar and atmosphere! Nothing in particular
- Maria (9/5): Warm and atmospheric, hope to go again in 2026 for Christmas! - Location, style, the room was lovely amazing bathroom.
Had a very warm and homely feel about it not like a massive chain. The parlour and bar was a lovely space and gave the hotel atmosphere. It was expensive, but for the time of year (Dec) and the location it was expected. Not a great view.
- Ian (8/5): -
- dbR8342CQ (4/5): A miserly and disappointing tea - Looked forward to a cute, holiday tea with family and left poorer and wiser. Small portions, mushy sandwiches that felt like they'd almost froze in refrigerator and were now stuck to each other, mediocre service. Won't make these mistakes again.
- 130barryp (4/5): Extortionate price and basic afternoon tea 166 pounds for 2 with glass of champagne! - This is a repeat visit for festive afternoon tea last time a few years ago. The staff were friendly but the offerings were ridiculous value. To not have earl grey tea in stock to start was unacceptable. There are plenty of outlets around the hotel. To receive 4 finger sandwiches and 4 mini scones with 4 little savory snacks to divide between 2 for 55 pounds and not the tea we like. There were 3 tea choices along English breakfast tea. There were also 3 mini cakes each. Nothing was particularly special and sandwiches were not so fresh. We added on 2 glasses of champagne at 18 pounds each. I would rather support hotels like this rather than the big hitters where afternoon teas are similar prices if not cheaper and include bubbles. Very dissatisfied customer her. I gave 2 star as the staff were lovely otherwise it would be one.
- Elizabeth (8/5): Perfect for Christmas shopping - Location great, staff excellent. The bar was closed most of the time. No cotton pads for make up removal in the bathroom. Lighting a bit dim.
- Philip (10/5): Great place to stay! - Lovely setting. A perfect place to stay for shopping in the west end. The staff are friendly and being small feels like home.
- mariawT6941AS (10/5): Business trip - Fabulous attention to detail in every part of the hotel, a memorable stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return!
A warm welcome and helpful advice on nearby places for breakfast too.
- A.G. (10/5): - Homey, cozy, gorgeous, great staff and central location. Nothing
- ytallis (10/5): Perfect hotel - The rooms are absolutely stunning and very quirky. Homemade biscuits and tea were just what I needed after a long journey.
The slippers and robe were lovely and everything was so clean.
I would definitely recommend this hotel
- Yvonne Tallis (10/5): Perfect stay - The quirkiness of this hotel is amazing. So many little characteristics, loved it. The staff were very helpful and friendly Nothing

- shelleyf15 (4/5): Ok for 20-somethings, but not for family, and not for many days - Pros:
The hotel is in a great neighborhood, very walkable with lots of sights, shopping and great food nearby, as well as being vey close to the tube, so easy to get other places as well. There is certainly a sort of international, broody, hipster vibe there, if that's what guests are looking for. Beds/linens/pillows are great and made for great night's sleep for all in our large family. Rooms felt clean. Small bar had a good vibe, when open.
Cons:
It's probably fair to say that as a large family staying in two rooms for 6 nights, it was not the right fit for us. We were bothered by lots of missteps, from having a barely-there reception area shared with the back of the bar, a sub-par breakfast experience, mistakes in the booking itself that could not easily be rectified because they apparently had a new reservation system uploaded just the week we arrived and it was fraught with errors and inconveniences (like no charging any food or beverage expenses to the room). Staff were not experienced in refined hospitality. When we asked about holiday festivities, like the Christmas markets, we were literally told "I don't know. I don't celebrate Christmas," by one person and another who said "I think there's something down by the water." When wanting to have drinks in the bar, we were told it was closed to save alcohol for the coming weekend. Overall, for us, we found it to be a mismatch between the (expensive) room rates and the product and services.
At a lower price point, maybe good for young professionals/20-somethings looking for a hip, clean boutique hotel experience, a nice small bar (when open), a great neighborhood and a good night's sleep in a place that is eclectically decorated and not for more than a couple of days.
- Richard (8/5): -
- C2223CEbrianc (6/5): Great property, but service didn’t quite match the price - I spent two nights here in November after a business trip. I travel frequently for work and leisure, and this property came up repeatedly in recommendations — and in many ways, it deserves the praise. The grounds are lovely, and the staff couldn’t be friendlier.
However, at $800 per night, I expect a level of polish and consistency that simply wasn’t there. A small but telling example: I opted out of having a drink at the bar after watching the bartender struggle to make a basic cocktail. She wasn’t familiar with how to use a shaker, which is surprising for a property in this price bracket.
Overall, a pleasant stay, but seasoned travelers will likely notice the gap between the rates and the level of service delivered.
- Kenneth (8/5): Great stay! - A good, quiet and functional room
- TOMOMI (10/5): 良い思い出になりました。 - スタッフの方皆さん良い方でした。ロンドンに来た気分を盛り上げてくれる内装で映画のセットの中に居る様でした。 なし
- kasparbieri (10/5): Felt like homd - We felt very welcome at this comfortable facility in a calm neighborhood close to Oxford Street. Nice atmosphere.
- YUSUF FIRAT (9/5): -
- 865anselmg (8/5): Excellent but bumpy mattress - Love it. Sleep wasn't great as mattress was bumpy. Need to sort that as after all the main reason for using a hotel is for the bed right? Literally everything else great.
- Craig (9/5): Nice Comfortable boutique hotel in great location - Really nice atmospheric hotel quirky and a nice alternative to the overpriced chain places. Nothing really
- pipjoreilly (10/5): Saturday night stay at the Zetter Marylebone - We were really excited about our one night couples retreat at the Zetter and the whole entire experience was above and beyond what we were expecting.
The hotel is so cosy and feels very lush old English, and very well kept - make it the perfect winter stay, It was close to so many great bars and restaurants we loved pottering around the area.
The room (junior suite) was the highlight of our trip - such a gorgeous room we didn't want to leave!!
Thanks you for having us Zetter team we will definitely be back!
- Jasem (10/5): -
- Michael (10/5): - Very nice room. Extremely helpful staff. Very friendly. Fun atmosphere. Lovely location.
- 386jessem (10/5): Fantastic Hotel Property - We were pleasantly surprised by the Victorian decor. It was fantastic! And, the only item that topped the decor, was the hotel Staff. Everyone that we came into contact with, was more than helpful and kind. Lots of coffee shops, restaurants, pubs and casinos, are within walking distance.
- Jesse (10/5): - Very, very authentic Victorian decor, throughout this property. Lots of places to eat, drink and shop, all within walking distance.
- Nick (10/5): -
- Mark (10/5): - .
- Nick (8/5): Great place, shame the cocktail bar was closed - Have stayed before love the hotel The bar was closed on the parlour so no cocktails available which is one of the reasons for staying at the hotel
- Hannah (9/5): Charming hotel, excellent bar, delicious breakfast, unbeatable location. - The breakfast was one of the best Full Englishes I've ever had! The bar/breakfast area was charming at all times of day. The rooms were full of character, extremely comfortable, and felt surprisingly large for two of us what looks like a little London townhouse!
- SHIRAZ (2/5): Don’t stay here - Very bad experience the service was so bad the bedroom was bad right next to the reception that smelt of curry. One really rude member of staff checking us in.
The write up on the hotel sounds wonderful showing lots of cocktails at the bar they had no cocktails at the bar they don’t serve them
The hotel was definitely 2 stars not 4-5 stars it was such a disappointment waste of £500 was a surprise stay for my wife’s birthday I need a refund back from the hotel it’s a disgrace.
I have booked many times with hotels.com never been disappointed but this time it was awful what do you have to say zetter hotel
- Ramesh (6/5): - Ok.
- Jenifer (10/5): - Great staff, walkable to Selfridges and other fun places. Easy to get to West End.
- Mustafa (10/5): - It is a very quaintly decorated building with a true English feel. Staff is very friendly.
- John (10/5): -
- ALEKSANDR (10/5): This hotel made my trip - there were a couple of days when I didn’t want to leave it 😅 - Rooms, cleanness, staff friendliness, location is perfect. Breakfast is great, as well as cocktails area. 10/10 Everything is great. Mb would be good to put iron and iron board in the room - because now you need to ask for it each time. But it’s minor - overall the place is lovely☺️
- Juan Carlos (8/5): Could have been better - Great location. Quiet rooms. Got a long suite accessible. Shower only had hot water and very weak water stream. Front Desk said live with it. Mattress was very soft. Coffee in the room was not good. Overall B+. Rooms are starting to show wear and tear.
- Sonia (10/5): A home -
- Gregory (10/5): Great Place !! - Fantastic Customer Service. Really enjoyed the service in the lounge, along with great entertainment!!
- Theo (9/5): -
- Candice (10/5): Fabulous Quirky Boutique Hotel - Lovely quirky boutique hotel! Loved it and we will be back. Great bar tender and what a brilliant idea to get a welcome drink in the parlour/bar. Thank you
- getupandgo2017 (8/5): Solid hotel choice in good location - Nice hotel with friendly staff, good location and value.
We like the small size of hotel, and location off Marble Arch Tube stop was great.
I would come back to a Zetter property.
- mrstraveller1 (10/5): Gorgeous Accommodation - I love quirky, characterful, boutique hotels, and the Zetter Marylebone certainly ticked all boxes. Rooms are just gorgeous - cocoons of cosy - plushly decorated, with the most luxurious bedding, heavy drapes and classy decoration. Plenty of amenities too - including hot beverage making facilities, well stocked mini bar, writing desk and array of bathroom products. I’d requested a room with lots of natural light, and the hotel kindly gave me one. Despite the great location, just 4 mins walk from Marble Arch tube, I couldn’t hear a peep of noise, either internally or externally. I didn’t have breakfast, but made good use of the quirky ‘Parlour’, which serves an array of light bites, wines and cocktails etc, throughout the day. Staff were wonderful, knowing your name, and making it a memorable and personal experience.
- Yee (8/5): - Loved the decor. Service was great. Sufficiently roomy and the bed was extremely comfortable. It would be great if the hotel could get rid of the slight damp smell that is noticeable when you first walk into the unit. Once you're in the unit fir a few minutes, you do forget the smell so it's not so horrid and unbearable. But if they could get rid of that, I'd give the hotel 5 stars across the board!
- Marla (10/5): - Awesome decor in the lobby/bar and rooms
- Christopher (10/5): Hidden Gem in London - This hotel was amazing. Beautifully decorated, top notch service from everyone, and especially Noah (or Noel? Sorry!) at the bar!
- Stoycho (10/5): - Very nice hotel with just 12 rooms if I am not wrong. Very calm and quiet. All of the staff were extremely polite and helpful. The room was with a big comfortable bed and the breakfast was delicious. Very close to Marble arch where you could get on a lot of bus lines and the central line of the subway and get to every other place in London.
- Michael (10/5): - The staff was excellent, very responsive and helpful when we had issues. They even made their office available to store luggage before our family home was available
Our room was spectacular!!
- Mary (10/5): - All the staff were exceptional! The room was really nice and we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!
- Morris (10/5): Great location. Historic feel with modern amenities - Boutique feel. Friendly staff. Amazing shower WiFi access was a bit annoying. Needed to accept terms and conditions multiple times
Lobby was a little too dark
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Adorable townhouse, conveniently located. Service wasn’t exactly warm and friendly but sufficient enough.
- Fiona (10/5): - The room was air conditioned, quiet and dark. It was perfect for getting over jet lag. The staff are friendly and personable.
- Fiona (8/5): -
- Robin (10/5): - Great little boutique hotel
- Hilde (8/5): -
- stacey (10/5): - A hidden gem right in the middle of London. Highly recommend this unique boutique hotel. The staff are incredible and the rooms are beautifully furnished and offer a quiet nights rest.
- Laura (8/5): - The place is a gem and the staff are always very helpful
- Khalid (10/5): - A great location and a very friendly staff!
- MICHAEL (10/5): - Excellent hotel food excellent central location staff are personable nothing is too much
- NYC10024 (10/5): Perfect place and location. If you want to opt out of the big hotels, Zetter is the place. - Loved my stay here. The staff is excellent. Cozy little bar with great bartenders. The location is also perfect, especially if you have meetings in Mayfair. Lots of great restaurant choices nearby and away from the louder part of the city.
- ADAM (10/5): - Everything was terrific. The rooms are well appointed, and the staff were outstanding. Easy location to access the Tube, the Heathrow Express, or an event at Wembley. There are also tons of great walkable dining options nearby.
- Stephen (9/5): Relaxing, yet fun. - Cool tradition vibe. Quiet!!!
- Nicholas (10/5): - Amazing place, like stepping back to a Victorian times in the nicest way, a marvellous retreat
