• Qayyumi (10/5): - Had a great time at Tjokro Style, we stayed there for 4 days 3 night and was thoroughly satisfied by the service and hospitality that we were treated it with. We had a great room view overlooking kota yogya and it was mesmerizing to see all the people of yogya going about their days through our window. In a way, we were experiencing yogya 24/7! The breakfast was good with plenty of options to choose from the local delicacies provided. Overall, we are definitely satisfied and would recommend Tjokro Style to anyone out there interested in staying in yogya.

• Tilford (1/5): Not clean - Nothing The staff were nice but they give us a smoking room when we should have a non smoking room because on the website it said non smoking room, the room was not clean the floor was filthy, the bed sheets had stains all over them and the pillows were old and yellow from sweat stains and ripped, the bed had bed bugs and the toilet was not cleaned, the kettle did not work and they said on the website the tv has cable but only had 5 local channels, the pool was tiny and was not like the photos on the website, I do not recommend staying there and will never go back.

Kebersihan kamar kurang baik, karpet kamar tidak di-vacum, sabun mandi habis sudah lapor tidak direfill, sprei ada bercak-bercak bekas kotoran.

• Arthur (1/5): Worst Hotel In The World. Worst facilities and the worst staff. Dangerous for health. - Nothing is likeable in this facility We got room with broken air conditioner. And their actions are: 1. They didn't let us change room 2. They repair the AC for 1 hour, and they don't come fast. We need to call the reception twice and go to the front desk once to get it repaired around 4 - 5 am. And it get broken again 3 hours after "repaired" We only get 3 hours sleep. We cannot rest on the noon, because the ac is broken. So we went to mall to let them repair it. The receptionist (woman with shoulder length hair, tanner, and slim) is very rude. When we called them to ask whether the AC is repaired or not, she hungs up the phone 2 times. Then on the third call, we asked them to check it first if it already repaired, because we need to get rest directly when we got back to the hotel,, since we only get 3 hours of sleep. But her answer is, "you can check it by yourself ma'am." What?? Then, guess what? When we got back, the ac is still broken. When we asked to change the room, they said "no," and they expect us to wait again to be repaired. Then we ask to check out and refund but they didn't let us do that. After waiting for 1 hour, we got another room, yes the air conditioner is cool,, but it gives us ringing sound. And the curtains are ripped.. Also we saw baby cockroach in the bathroom As I can see. The hotel is lack of maintenance.. also lack of staff training. Be careful, not to spend your day here. The woman in green shirt (not the receptionist serves us better. But it's not enough. Since she doesn't give quick action. Because of the lack of professionalism, me and my son got sick after we stay there. We don't get enough rest at all). The only compensation we get is only a piece of chocolate cake, for size about.. 4 cm x 10 cm x 6 cm. Very traumatic to stay there. Shame on the group that manages the Tjokro Style Hotel. Since they claimed they maintain the HR competence.

• Ayu (3/5): Not really nice - The pillows are comfy. The bed is quite nice. There is a big mirror, and the open space for praying is enough. Plus, there is a sign of the direction of kiblat. - There was a cockroach on the bed on the first night of my stay. - There was a small worm on the floor of  the bathroom, since the water from the shower came out to the toilet area, and the water on the floor couldn't dry properly. - The room isn't soundproof, the 2nd day of my stay I could hear the group of students (came by bus) came to the room next door, and they were speaking a lot and loud, I woke up from my sleep cause of that. -The staffs of the hotel, I don't know why they had to run in the corridor in front of my room, and it happened so many times. - The slipper was only one pair, I had to ask the FO to send me one more for my husband. - The responses from the staff were sooooooo slow. - I ordered some foods from outside and asked the delivery man to leave it a while in the FO, and every time I asked the FO staff about my foods, their reactions weren't really friendly. Only the staff in the night shift gave us the smiles every time we met. - The TV channels are only local, and the quality isn't really clear. - The AC didn't work properly. It was stuck in 16°C and wasn't cold. Eventually, it's only fan -Because of the cockroach incident, I wasn't sure whether to drink or use the water inside the bottle that the hotel had prepared. I preferred to buy alone in the shops nearby - A lot of yellow stains in the bathroom Will not think to stay here again next time.

• V (6/5): Nice rooms , top service but location isn’t great - Good size comfortable room , top service overall by receptionists and restaurants staff and cleaners , only disappointment was there was no gym facilities in the hotel

• Nuno (8/5): Good quality for value in Yogyakarta - Modern and comfortable hotel in Yogyakarta, at good value. Although a bit far from the main street (malioboro), it isn't difficult to get transport around the city. The staff were very helpful - always smilling -, and they helped us rent a scooter, which I reccomend. Ended up staying one more night.

• Joey (10/5): Wonderful stay in Tjokro Style Yogyakarta - We stayed in Tjokro Style hotel for 2 nights. The room was clean, albeit a little small for 2 luggages. We enjoyed the food in the inhouse restaurant - cheap and good! We wanted to try their unique retro-style menu but could not understand Bahasa. The service staff were super patient and translated all the dishes into English for us!

• Mariah (6/5): New and comfortable room; just lacking certain zes - We were told to wait at the lobby for awhile as we check in late at about 8.00pm.The problem was there is no connecting room; not even at the same floor eventhough we requested for it. My elderly parents was asked to stay at Level 1; and ourself at Level 3. Room 118 is a horrible room; directly next to a karaoke joint. Parents could not sleep well with the loud music till late. They should at least sound proof the room for the guests' comfort. Other than that, room is relatively new and cleaning standard is OK.

I very much enjoyed my time there - the staff are remarkably friendly, the food from the promo menu is good and cheap, and the room is comfortable. For the price, this place is unbeatable.
• Verified traveler (10/5): 中心部から少し離れたホテル - ジョグジャカルタの中心となるマリオボロ通りからトランスジョグジャで20分程です。 マリオボロから2Aまたは3Aのルートに乗れば近くに降りれます。 ただホテルからマリオボロに出る際や他のルートに乗る場合は15分程歩く必要があります。 ボロブドール行きのバスのあるギワンガンバスターミナルまではタクシーで25000ルピアほどです。 ホテルは清潔で綺麗です。 マリリンモンローのポスターがかかるなどインドネシアらしさは皆無です。 近くにはちょこちょこと食事のできる場所があります。

• Kurt (2/5): Avoid if you can - Very dirty pool, disgusting actually. Staff mostly without any training. Nothing of interest in the area around the hotel. Not centrally located. Worst hotel we experienced during one month of travel in Indonesia.
