Kyle (2/5): - the room was dirty, floor was wet everywhere. complained about noise several times and got no resolution. currently fighting with them because i booked a different hotel, and they don't want to refund me. i advise booking early enough to avoid this hotel in Tioga, or just drive from Stanley or Williston.

For about a week the people above my room were very loud past 10 pm and the front desk did not seem to care that much about enforcing quiet hours.

Ann WJ (2/5): Bad ad - We had read you were a prodigy facility on your site. So we reserved a room. The day before we were to arrived we were sent an email saying you were not and we would be charged an additional fee of $295 and would be denied the ability to stay. Not very friendly.

The front desk lady, whom is busy, but is great about our service and getting our needs met. We disliked that it was unusually bery dirty!!. The workers left a lot of tracks and mud on the floors and walls, the chairs were very dirty in the breakfast area! And our room when we checked in was not cleaned, the bathroom tub was dirty, The floor was very gross, and there was garbage everywhere in the entire room. The cleaning staff argued we had been there before, but we just checked in! Not cool.

David (4/5): Felt like they were shutting down - There were no keys available for any rooms so we had to be let in by the front desk staff. This was true for every person staying in the hotel. The rooms were clean for this type of hotel in the bed was comfortable, however, the bathroom floors had not been washed, and that was evident by some of the stains around the toilet. The TV remote did not work and of the five different rooms that we as a family had at this hotel only one worked properly. No attempt was made to fix any of them. Our phone did not have a dialtone either and that was not a concern to the front desk. At breakfast there was no syrup and all drinks were significantly watered down. This is a working man’s hotel for the oil field, and several of the residents were upset by the lack of food. The price was reasonable, but we still expected many of the amenities that Are common such as a working TV and hotel keys as well as breakfast when it’s part of the package. The bed was comfortable otherwise it would’ve been a total loss. If I was back in town again, I would not stay at this hotel.

Was happy to note that the hallway and rooms smelled clean but every time I went into the lobby, I could smell the odor. Rooms were not very soundproof. Beds were comfortable, staff friendly - they have been changing out the key card system so my key was not working properly. I was promptly moved to a different room. I think I left my Kindle in the room and while staff have been trying to find it, the search has been unsuccessful - am hoping it will turn out. I feel like the service was very friendly and professional.

I have stayed at Micromtel's many many many times all over the midwest and have always been happy. the have everything you need and are always well kept. my only complaint about this one in particular is the price. Just because its in the oil fields they usually charge about $20 more per night for the exact same room you'd get at any of the other locations.
