Siddhartha (3/5): Cleanliness non-existant - The room with kitchenette was spacious. The breakfast was decent. The breakfast was very close to Holiday Inn Express. However, not as many warm food options as HIE. Staff were friendly. They did not clean the room! It looked clean on the surface. Then, when we raised the toilet seat there was a bunch of shaved hair - everywhere! Not just one strain, but a lot! They had hair, hair clips here and there in the room. They even had a bunch of pubic hair on and around the bedside table! Also, the bedside tables and corner tables were full of dust. Basically, looked like they barely made the bed and kind of vacuumed the room. That is it.

Had been looking forward to that during cold and snowy weather. Pool area felt chilly as well. Room was cleaned but mattress/pillows felt uncomfortable. Staff pleasant.

Most staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel was easy to get to and easy to get out of. Swim pool and hot tub were very clean and hot tub worked. Room was clean, toilet and shower also. More breakfast. We had to wait in between batches of hash and eggs. Better coffee in the hotel rooms.

Kailah (8/5): Comfortable Room, Good Location, Clean - Comfortable room, clean, great location. Decent breakfast. Kind of awkward layout of our room -- long and narrow, and a bit dim for the lighting. Our family member's room with a couch was a more streamlined layout.

There was a strong chemical smell in the room which we could smell from the hallway. There had been a wedding at the hotel the day before we arrived and it smelled like a nail salon in our bedroom.

David (7/5): Experience left me with a strange feeling. - THE BREAKFAST WAS TYPICAL OF HOTEL OFFERINGS. The hotel was in a great location for us and easily accessed. The facility was very clean. The pool open until midnight! The staff was not friendly - almost afraid to speak to us. An outgoing staff would have really made this hotel outstanding. At checkin the lady appeared from the back room and then we never saw her again that evening. Sometimes a bell is not enough. Also, I should mention that the hotel was almost vacant ... This was not a warm fuzzy experience in Mt Horeb.

James (6/5): - Some of the staff, like the lady who must have been the manager were excellent. 1 or 2 of the people who did the signing us in and preparing the breakfasts and things were either just starting the job or extremely inept. The rooms were in reasonable condition. The first room had a terrible stink. The room we were moved to was good. The location was excellent. It was on the edge of town and very peaceful. The veterans memorial down the hill was extremely well done. The town is an extremely fast growing beautiful community. The trolls in Mt Horeb are lots of fun. Due partially to rapid growth, the housing market is very expensive. Everyone in the community that we met were extremely friendly and helpful.

They messed up the room charges and charged my card for TWO extra rooms and then only refunded one. We are still fighting them. The sink was broken in my mom's room, the coffee maker didn't work in my sisters room, my room was dusty and gross. Pool had zero clean towels. Flies inside the breakfast bread case. Great location but we will not be returning.

LISA (10/5): - The staff was amazing. There were two weddings over the weekend and the hotel was full. The staff did an amazing job, with smiles on their face, even though they were all running around, extremely busy.
Verified traveler (6/5): Surprised! - Had to wipe down entire room which had layers of dust on it. Asked for help to get refrigerator to work and told had to leave light on as the wiring was weird. Had issues getting door to lock when leaving-had to lift door up to get it to engage Extended our stay prior to coming. Told the guy when first registering and he said he had adjusted it. Only to come back one evening to be locked out. Front desk girl could not get us back in same room without charging us again even though I showed her my receipt. She said that was the only way she could do it. It was how she was shown. Hopefully this is a one timer as we have been going here 3-4 times a year to visit family.
Audrey (6/5): - We stay here three-four times a year visiting family. Never have I ever had an issue until this last time. Our room was completely covered in a layer of dust. Really gross! I cleaned it with a wipe, but in the bathroom I even had to wipe down as you could see the dust on the wooden shelf where towels were. Then we had an issue with the refrigerator working. The lady came up and said the wiring was off and we had to leave light on so it would work. Needless to say there is more, our door did not lock after a few days.You had to lift the door to lock it. We extended our stay from the original time and told the guy when checking in. He claimed to fix it but when we tried to get in our room and it was locked out. Girl at counter did not know how to adjust it and charged credit card for it. This after showing her the receipt on my phone. She said she ONLY knew that way and someone will fix it later. It was late so we left it. She was the only staff there and did not know how to do much. Needs training so couldn't blame her. We hope this visit was a once thing.

Fadi (9/5): The staff personnel who checked us in was wonderful. I believe she was training but she did GREAT. - I truly appreciate the lady who checked us in to the room. She was very welcoming, friendly and professional. I felt like I am the only guest in the hotel providing us with full attention and great service. Price could be little less :).
Andrya (10/5): Nice & convenient hotel - This was our first trip with our young puppies and the hotel was very accommodating. We have stayed here multiple times before we had the puppies and have always had good experiences. They do have a pet fee that was not stated on the website, $25/pet, and weight restrictions but no breed restrictions. The front desk staff was happy to see the puppies and gave them dog biscuits as well as providing free poop bags. As usual, the room was clean and quiet. It is a convenient location right off the highway and way better than staying in/closer to Madison.

IsabelS281 (8/5): was a very nice quiet stay - the beds as usual in the USA are super comfortable. The breakfast was surprisingly very good and lots of choices. A smart TV would be great or the possibilty to plug in our devices and stream. Wifi was working good. Had a good quiet nightsleep.

Andrew (6/5): On a budget it’s nice but I won’t be taking my family back to this hotel. - There was a large selection for breakfast. The pool area was nice. The hotel was close to Madison without being loud and in the city. My kid scratched his toe in the pool area. The first aide kit was empty. When to the desk and that one didn’t have any bandages. Every time I went to the front desk I had to search for someone. Checkout took an extra 30 mins because no one was there. The staff seems uninterested and confused whenever I had a comment or question.

Carol (10/5): - Nice pool and hot tub. Room clean. Weren't told anything about on internet, room book or TV. Breakfast was ok, but not super. We had a squeaky bathroom fan that could not be turned off.

Doris (2/5): - I had to cancel because of the storm coming through Tennessee and I canceled within the aloud timeframe. I even called the hotel and canceled with them, but you charged me in December and you need to refund me.
