• Deluxe Villa

  Boasting a private entrance, this air-conditioned villa includes 1 living rooms, 1 separate bedrooms, and 1 bathrooms and 1 outdoor shower with a walk-in shower and a hairdryer. Guests will find a stovetop, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, and kitchenware in the well-fitted kitchen. The villa also features private parking, a barbecue, and a terrace with garden views. This villa also offers a washing machine, a dryer, and a flat-screen TV with streaming services. The unit has 3 beds. When booking for 2 guests, you will have access to one king bedroom only. The Studio pavilion is designed to accommodate one couple, sleeping in one king bed. When booking for 4 guests or 5 guests, you will have access to two bedrooms and a choice of bedding. There is one king bed in the Studio pavilion and a choice of one king bed or 2 single beds in the Retreat pavilion. We have a second pavilion available which can accommodate up to 3 extra guests in a open plan layout. If you need 2 beds in 2 separate rooms, you will need to book the 4 person option. Our 2 person prices are for one couple sleeping in one king bed only.

It felt so nice and secluded, it didn’t feel like you’re on the back of someone’s property as it was very private. The hosts were lovely and kept us up to date if anything was happening on the property. Seriously 10/10!

Beautifully furnished and very comfy bed and couches. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and we felt like we were in our own little sanctuary for a couple of nights. It was incredible peaceful but only a 5 minute drive to the buzzy town of Byron Bay. Julie was so lovely and accommodating and made everything so easy for us! Can’t fault anything, it was really great.

We kregen veel privacy van de uiterst vriendelijke hosts. Daarnaast was alles erg schoon en nieuw en voelde we ons meteen thuis! Kort samengevat: het was uitstekend en ver boven verwachting! Dankjewel, we hopen nog eens terug te komen. niets, alles was perfect!

• Cynthia (10/5): Great value for money. If you want a getaway for peace and yet not too far from the Beach, this is it! - We loved quite literally everything this stunning Villa had to offer. The scenery itself was incredibly peaceful whether sitting indoors or lounging outside. The Villa is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Comfy bed and room, spacious kitchen and lounge… Julie and Paul were very accommodating, down to lighting a fire for us in the fire pit with only a few hours notice. Kip, the loveable dog was a bonus. We are extremely pleased with having chosen The Lily Pad for our little holiday break. We plan to return often, if not annually. Zero complaints.

Just enough out of town to be outside from busy Byron Bay township, yet only a 5 minute drive into town. Offering privacy, surrounded by gorgeous gardens and the most beautiful sounding birds day and night. This was a very comfortable little oasis during our stay.

Wet Weather, no drier and no heated towel rail meant using wet towels. Two coffee pods provided so will need to bring your own or drive to town if staying for more than one night.

• Greg (10/5): A glorious retreat, a truly relaxing and affordable getaway. - The location was stunning! Gorgeous gardens and spacious and beautifully decorated interior and so peaceful and private. The bed was luxuriously comfy and all the facilities were top notch. I loved how it felt and away from the hustle and bustle of town yet conveniently close to drive to the beach and shops. I wish we could have stayed longer! Be sure to read the information about the rubbish so as not to mix up organic materials with landfill as there are composting facilities and a three bin system and recycling is separated into glass and other materials.

• Chris (10/5): PERFECT! - In all of my years of travel, I can safely say that Lily Pad was one of the most relaxed, peaceful and beautifully presented properties I have stayed at, it wasn’t’ ‘crazy glitzy’ but it was certainly the only place where I felt 100% comfortable and relaxed and sad to leave. The gardens were a stand out and the villa was prefect in every way. Our hosts Linda & Paul greeted us and showed us around the left us alone (a to other hosts) they even ‘secretly’ left us some fresh eggs for breakfast and some limes for our evening drinks. I can’t thanks them enough for being perfect hosts. Leaving!

The studio was very clean and spacious. It was surrounded by beautiful tropical garden. We could see trees from everywhere! The kitchen was also very well equipped and enjoyed cooking and having meals at the studio! It was an truely oasis! Thank you Julie, we will visit again.

It was a little disconcerting not having blinds or curtains at the full-length windows to the front. However as the property is so secluded one assumes they are not necessary.

• Gerrit (10/5): Beautiful place to stay - It is a beautiful place to stay, super close to town but far enough away that it is so peaceful and in stunning surroundings. We managed to walk to town during the day, but it is not really pedestrian-friendly at night, though we did it and enjoyed the walk! The villa was really clean and had beautiful facilities. The villa has everything you need to cook and clean if you want to, even a small supply of oil, salt and pepper, etc, which was really handy. The outdoor shower is really great, and the gardens are immaculate. It was lovely to lay on the outside lounger at night to star gaze. It's a serene, calming environment, and we didn't want to leave. The host was lovely too, kindly giving us an early check-in and a late check-out. We had expected a 2 bedroom villa for 2 people as that is what we booked through Booking.com. even though the booking site allowed us to book a 2-bed villa for 2 people, this appears to be an error with the site, as it is a one-bedroom villa. There is an extra villa onsite; however, this is reserved for more than 2 people. This ended up fine for us as we are a couple, though we always prefer 2 bedrooms so we can sleep better :) But you would be pretty disappointed if you were travelling with someone you were uncomfortable sharing a bed with. There is only one small coffee pod per person for your stay, so if you need a couple of coffees to start your day, come prepared.

The villa was clean and the owner was lovely addressing any questions we had. Nothing really but one thing to note is that we will require a car, but to us it was worth being on the quiet side of byron. I definitely will come back

It was relaxing and tranquil - the owners where lovely, Everything was well thought out .. The out door shower was perfect . It is hard to beat and honestly one of if not the best we have ever stayed The only thing which didn’t really bother us as it is cooler months ( April ) there was no AirCon , Had ceiling fans which was actually quite nice but might be a bit hot in warmer months .
