• Vivian (10/5): - I liked the price of the hotel room and the location in downtown San Jose. The host was professional and friendly and made our stay comfortable and we really enjoyed staying here. The room was so clean and neat and affordable compared to other hotels in the area.

Very clean rooms and amazing staff. No breakfast served in the hotel, but to be honest there are plenty of options nearby

• Robert (9/5): - We stayed here to catch a flight out of San Jose. The cost was reasonable, the ratings were good and the location was good for us. The room was comfortable, clean and modern. There was no coffee maker in the room but that was totally made up for by the great expresso machine in the lobby (and the owner who got up at 5:00 am to turn it on for us!). He really couldn't have been nicer or more welcoming. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in San Jose!

• Holger (10/5): Perfect stay right next to the Convention Center - I attended a conference in San Jose. The hotel is ideally located near the convention center and downtown. Nick is a wonderful host with a great sense of humor and a keen eye for detail. The room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and quiet. As is typical in the U.S., breakfast wasn’t included (except for coffee), but that wasn’t a problem for me. I highly recommend this hotel without exception. The price for the overnight stay was already quite high, but the mechanisms of the market economy (supply vs. demand) are what determine the price.

• Rita (10/5): Great place to stay if you want to save money. - Everything in our unit was impeccably clean,and it offered all the amenities we needed. Also, there were grab bars in the shower which was appreciated. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The exterior of the building needs to be updated, and views out of the windows were limited.

• Richard (10/5): Affordable, clean, courteous staff, a good, quiet place to stay and to work. - Quiet, very very clean. Rooms are tastefully decorated in a modern style. The bed and chairs are comfortable. I was on business and there was a good size desk for working. I had no problem with Zoom or transmitting orders. Nick, who manages, is intelligent and courteous and friendly. Maria, the maid, is very thorough. This is my 3rd time staying here, & after trying several hotels in SJ, this has become my spot. Free parking & if you are working downtown or at a convention center or SJ State it is walking distance. And if not, you are 3 blocks from 280. There is a hip coffee place next door, & for dinner, Original Joe's, a classic Italian Steakhouse is 2 blocks away. A real gem at a modest price! No lie, I have no complaints!

Fridge and Microwave. Bedbugs. AC/heater very noisy. Bed a bit hard. No coffee/tea. Motel next door converted to Homeless/half-way housing with dodgy people in area.

• West (8/5): Comfortable room, fantastic staff, cute hotel. 100% would stay again. - Room was bigger than anticipated and the bathroom was modern and exceptionally nice. Fridge and Microwave both in room. No continental breakfast, but there is an adorable coffee shop next door. There's not much to be done about it, but the hotel in on a pretty rough block. Walking to/from the convention center and nearby restaurants alone gave me a little bit of pause; but once on the hotel property, I felt incredibly safe.

Appreciated that this was a non smoking room and it was on the ground floor. Parking was great and it was just a walk away from the venue where we went to a concert. Perfect location!!!

• Isabelle (10/5): Overall a great sta on a budget! - The property was in a great spot super close to the convention center. The staff were great, very helpful and understanding and even let us park there even after we checked out till we left for the event. The facility didn’t really have any elevators so that was hard and the area that the location was in did not seem safe at times, but after we got into the building in area, we were OK. They were very concerned about our safety, which was nice.

• Damien (10/5): - The CLEANEST hotel I have ever stayed in, not a spec anywhere I checked, I'm a professional cleaner and I checked everywhere. Everything was tidy, sanitized and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and the property was very quiet. Didn't hear any other people much at all. We had business at the convention center, it was very close by and easy to walk to, if a little bit questionable. The staff or I believe the manger/owner? Was amazing, very friendly, always happy to ask us how we were doing if we needed anything. Fantastic. It was an amazing stay and if we are ever in area again this is definitely the place we'd stay.

• Zhaolin-Emily (10/5): - Was in town for a concert at the SAP center. Location is good, within walkable distance to SJSU, the SAP center, and San Pedro Square. Has free parking which is a big plus as many other hotels in the area charge for parking. Rooms were clean, all facilities were in good condition, beds were comfortable. Owner was very kind and attentive. This hotel is clearly a labor of love and I would definitely stay here again.

• Citlali (10/5): - I booked this hotel for a solo getaway to attend the GalaxyCon convention happening nearby. I am always nervous about staying at a hotel by myself, but as soon as I walked into the lobby, I felt relieved. I unfortunately forgot to ask for his name, but I was greeted by a lovely man who had all the best jokes and puns! He made me feel very safe and even wished me an early happy birthday. Aside from the very easy and quick check in, my room was amazing. For it being the standard room, it was much bigger than anticipated. It was very clean and had great amenities. It was also a breeze to walk to the convention center with it only being about a 10 minute walk. There’s even a great coffee shop right next to the hotel. I absolutely recommend this place. I will definitely be booking again should I need a place to stay in San Jose.

It is close to many restaurants and the venues are within walking distance, but quiet at night. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The receptionist (or manager?) was friendly and helpful. This was our third stay and we will stay there again. Thank you!

• jocelyn (8/5): 3 story motel near downtown - We were here for the jazz festival and the hotel was walking distance to the festival. Nick was very welcoming and let us check in early for a fee with the extra bonus of free parking for both days. The room hotel was clean and updated in a quiet area. Microwave and refrigerator, no coffee or tea and no ice machines, but Nick gave us a bag of ice. Unfortunately, the air conditioner was noisy and it gets pretty hot in San Jose.

I will stay at this hotel whenever I travel to San Jose in the future. The property was quiet and I slept very well . The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable, I really didn’t want to leave! Fairly priced, worth every penny. Highly recommended! It was perfect, I have no complaints.

It had a homey vibe, and the owner was very kind and attentive. The area is a little run down, but I never felt unsafe.
