- David (10/5): As close to perfect as you can get. - The penthouse 3 bedroom/3bath was perfect for our family. Breakfast included made it perfect to eat before we went on our scheduled activities. Happy hour each day was nice to relax before we went to dinner. The staff was friendly and actually got to know us. Would have liked a quick to go breakfast option that would have been available to grab on the day we left early for our long excursion.

Couches are old looking. Everything else was ok. Just wasnt the luxury vibe they made it seem. And you must check in before 9pm
- Ennice L (8/5): - I booked the Atlantic 6 Bedroom condo. It looked great on-line, but different in person. Furnishings within the suite were outdated, dirty, and in need of repair. The sofa and love seat are old and in need of replacement. The stove and toaster oven were dirty, rusted and also need to be replaced. The cleaning team came in daily and did an excellent job cleaning such a large space. The master suite (upstairs), jacuzzi was inoperable and along with the shower needs to be retiled/regrouted. When checking in, i was told that I could not have visitors, unless I listed them when checking in. I have to say, i have traveled the world and never had this constraint. It is common knowledge that any visitor must check in at the front desk and show identification. The person reserving the room is responsible for their conduct and any damages to the room. Other than the cleaning team mentioned above, i would also commend the baristas/wait staff and the cooks. The staff were always professional and courteous. The meals were delicious and well prepared. This team worked well together!

The bubblers in plunge were not working and hit water wasn’t working in couple of bathrooms. Even after multiple reminders and requests the property management failed to fix that.

- Matthew (10/5): - Great place to stay. Close to everything. Felt very safe there and the service was excellent. The room had a few nicks and bumps, but nothing to really complain about. No laundry soap supplied, but was literally down the street and was affordable. I highly recommend.

They were speechless by the beauty of the penthouse, it's views, their private rooms and bathrooms ans balconies. They loved having room service and enjoyed the restaurant too. I also loved the magnificent balconies and views. The penthouse had no paper towels, napkins or pots or pans. It seem the penthouse was vacant for a while because some things were dusty, like handrails. My teenage son dusted without my prompting. I have long hair and lots of it. I only received 1 small bottle of shampoo in the master suite, and no conditioner. We wanted to watch tv, but everything was in Spanish. We only understand basic Spanish and English captioning was not avaliable. Room service never brought napkins otherwise it was good. The rooster started cooing at 3 am. There was also a barking dog. My ear plugs saved me. Good thing I brought some.
- Jon (10/5): Great location, friendly staff - Breakfast was good, a bit crowded depending on the time of the morning but the staff did their best to meet the need. The room was spacious and clean and more than we expected. The pictures didn't do it justice. Some of the coffee bar options were not available as part of the included breakfast such as milk alternatives for allergies (oat milk/almond milk) but that was an additional fee.

- Dennis (2/5): Hot penthouse room and found roach in bathroom also not guest friendly. - The location was close to everything. Penthouse bathroom had a roach inside and it was super hot when we step in our room and the master bedroom never got cool even with the AC on.

There was no practical way to live in this aprtment with that size of AC units. Even the workers over there were sweating in the room and mentioned that they asked owner to install bigger size unit but havent heard back. I had to change it immediately to another property. Expedia provided good service with making sure I get my refund.
- Tyjuan (4/5): - The six bedroom penthouse suppose to be the best of the best at this location. I was a bit disappointed to say the least. The couch and loveseat is very outdated and in bad condition with horrible repairs. I didnt sit on either. We had some rain and water began to come thru the ceiling and three of the sliding doors. Looks as if previous coverup repairs were done. Breakfast was not bad. A few different options were available. Pool area is on the smaller side and gets crowded quickly so get down early to get a spot if you deserve to layout. Security does a great job preventing any outside guests from entering the location. Dont think I would return to this location on my return to Jaco unless penthouse upgrades and maintenance issues are handled.
- JEFF (6/5): Disappointed!!! - The unit is a very nice unit, there are many issues with it though. The couches are old leather and ripped in numerous places. The master bedroom, the ceiling fan does not work, the Jacuzzi on the master bathroom water will not run properly to fill up the tub. We rented unit because of that and could not enjoy a jacuzzi!!!! They have an industrial size fan in the living room, when you turn it on you can not hear each other speak because of the noise. Only a few parking spaces up front, if full you need to go across road to parking lot to park. It’s covered with small rocks, when we got our luggage néed to pull them thru the rocks, many issues!!!

- Ricardo (4/5): Most truthful review about this place 100 - I paid for the 3bed room penthouse it was not what i expected specially at almost 350 a night, the service from the staff was terrible, bartenders were rude maybe they dont get payed good idk but completly ignored me so i left, i ordered laundry was like 4bucks cheap but when i got my clothes back half of them were still dirty it made no sence. Worst part was when I checked inn the lady in the front who looked like she was in a bad mood told me i had only put 2 guest on hotels.com so i needed to pay an additional 40 per person mind you it was 3 of us for a 3 bedroom "penthouse", i told her it was a 3 bedroom and only 3 of us whats the problem ? She said she needed to charge 40 per person that i didnt put down on hotels.com when i just booked the 3 bedroom not worrying about that because ive never had a hotel do this but anyways she contined with the speech didnt want to argue so i payed the 40 but i felt totaly ripped off she knew she wanted to get me for that extra 40$ but whatever i wasnt in the mood to argue but service was terrible on every end. I never write reviews positive or negative but this one i need to tell, stay away with this money go to crocs resort waaaaaay better actual up to date building real exclusive and nice kept up not this place tbh this place seemed like it was for locals everyone there seemed local and maybe thats why we got terrible service i dont know stay away from this place total rip off let me tell you thats all folks .

- Verified traveler (4/5): - It was a cheap penthouse. That’s about all I can say in a positive light. Only 2 showers had hot water, out of 5. The staff was rude and acted as if we didn’t exist every time we entered or exited the property. At 9 pm they literally yank the plug for all the lights around the pool, like some aquatic dictatorship. We had bugs and lizards everywhere, even the beds. No night manager and they refused to issue me a receipt upon checkout. If this sounds ok to you then take the chance. We won’t be back

The pool was refreshing and the morning breakfast was good. The penthouse was so large, larger than we needed but it was fun. The only complaint is that it’s so large, the A/C took quite a long time to cool the rooms down.

- Chanel29 (10/5): - I loved this property, this was my friends and I first time in costa Rica and everyone here made the experience that much more amazing. Franklin was so helpful in booking all of our excursions. We absolutely loved it here. We came out for my friends birthday and I would admit we got a little crazy but the staff was so sweet and understanding. My friends and I are already planning another trip here I would say the only issue we had was the Wifi it basically doesn't work so dont expect to be surfing the web but jaco is so beautiful you'll be fine without internet
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We really enjoyed the stay, unfortunately we were there from 8:00 pm to 5:00 pm...not much time to use the swimming pool or any other facility, but the room was really nice and clean. Amazing bathroom with a giant Jacuzzi. Perfect place for a large group of friends or one large family.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - The property isnt your typicak hotel. Its more on the condo lifestyle (at least the penthouse is). We had no issues with checking in or during our stay. I will note that even though it seems new and clean there is definite noticable wear and tear.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - We really enjoyed staying at this place and the Sky Penthouse. The Penthouse was really spacious. Having two of our own private "mini pools" was nice, especially since the main pool isn't very large. We choose a penthouse with a view to the ocean but it was a bit nosy because it was on the street side and they are doing construction across the street. The staff was very friendly and helpful with our requests. The menu had several good choices on it and great selection of beverages. The location was great with easy access to the shops, restaurants, and the ocean but you'll need your own car or rent one of the bicycles that are on site. We would go back to this location.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Great penthouse - HORRIBLE STAFF! - The Penthouse apartment was as the photos indicated - large, modern and beautiful. However, the service sucked! The staff is so rude. I will never stay st this place again. How unfortunate as the facility is great.

- Kira (6/5): - Newer, modern boutique hotel about 3 blocks from beach. We stayed here in 2017 also and had a much better experience. This time around we had a few issues. The staff are WONDERFUL. You couldn't find a group of kinder, more helpful people. However, we had facilities issues. There was no hot water in the master bedroom shower of our 3 bedroom condo all week despite repeated requests for a repair. Then, a pipe burst in the master bathroom flooding the entire condo and the other two couples in our group were relocated to other rooms for the last two nights of our stay. The pool is also CROWDED from dawn until close with a lot of children - it's not peaceful at all. We didn't even sit at the pool this year. I feel bad because I love the people that run the place, but we did not have a great experience this time around. (We were compensated for the flood - they took 30% off our room the last two nights and gave us our food tab (about $150) for free also).

- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel but not close to beach - We had a 4 bedroom, 4 bath penthouse apartment. It was almost too large for our family of 5. It had a Modern, upscale feel to it. I imagined a lot of parties happening there because of its large size. We wish we were right on the beach; this was a bit of a walk to it. Our balcony looked over an area that had houses, one with a rooster that screamed all day long. Never stopped. The restaurant and pool area was nice and suited our needs. For a 2 night visit it was fine.
- Matthew (10/5): Increíble - We stayed in pacifica penthouse 2 nights which was amazing. The roof deck had a great view of the moon and stars at night. The balconies had small private pools and a partial view of the ocean. This place has so much to explore we didnt even get to it all. Staff was very friendly. Bicycle rentals were really fun.

There should be some restorations, one AC unit was not working in the main room, wall has filtered water and needs painting, gym equipment needs maintenance. Pet friendly, staff is smiling from beginning to the end of your stays
