• Philipp (8/5): Wir haben es sehr genossen. - Die Unterkunft ist auf 2 Etagen. Sehr sauber und schön gelegen. In der Küche hatte es kein Salz, Pfeffer, Gewürze. Ansonsten war sie gut ausgestattet. Sobald offene Nahrungsmittel auf der Küchentheke lagen (mit einer Klammer verschlossen), kamen von irgendwoher klitzekleine Ameisen. Viele unebene Treppen vom Parkplatz zur Wohnung (ca. 53 Tritte).
• Sibylle (10/5): - Die Lage des Appartements ist sensationell! Direkter, unverstellter Blick aufs Meer. Nur ein Fußweg trennt die Unterkunft vom Einstieg ins Wasser.Kleiner Supermarkt und Strandcafés fußläufig. Die Appartements sind sehr dicht aneinander gebaut. Das ist etwas störend, wenn man im Vorgärtchen auf dem Liegestuhl ist.

• Arjan & Lucienne de Jong (9/5): - Geweldige locatie en uitzicht. 10 meter lopen naar de pier om een heerlijke duik te nemen in zee. Kleinschalig project. Een douchegordijn is niet echt meer van deze tijd. Tevens is de keukeninventaris ook toe aan een kritische blik.

• J (6/5): Not a place I would stay again. - Once the person with the keys finally met up with us, getting keys was fine. Sending us photos of places to meet him - places we had never seen before - did not help Place not clean - especially floor, no screens on windows to keep out flying insects, floor fan would have been nice as there was little ocean breeze. A starter pack (coffee or tea, condiments, bread, laundry soap, etc.) for purchase would have been helpful, so that we did not have to go grocery shopping directly after flying in, renting car, and trying to find the apartment.

Fabulous views, we slept with the windows open to hear the crashing of the sea below. Lovely sea swimming areas and quaint harbour, snorkelling was excellent with lots of fish to see. Secure apartment. WiFi excellent.Would definitely stay here again. Lots of the pathways and walkways of poris are now ruined by dog excrement. Local bins are emptied daily but pathways and walkways need a good hose down and clean, lots of dog excrement on the wasteland as well, spoils the walking. We did not have neighbours both sides during our stay, which was a blessing as there is little privacy between the sun Bed areas. No safe for valuables. BUT would definitely stay here again.

• Nordjylland (9/5): A perfect apartment if you want easy access to a dip in the sea. - We have booked this apartment 6 times before in the past 7 years which indicates we are quite happy about this place. The appartment has what you need for a comfortable stay and perform some cooking. Bedlinen and beds are very comfortable. The location only a few meters from the sea with proper stairs make it easy to take a swim even twice a day. The bathing area is located in a bay which make bathing safe and only a few times we must abstain because of the wawes. Tide level shift is more than 1½ meter. You can always use the small beach located 100 meters away. After your swim there is a outdoor shower next to the laundry room. Be sure to book the real apartment and not the smaller studio apartment. We had some issues with the payment because Mastercard for "safety reasons" blocked our sceduled payment which was due some weeks before arrival. Mastercard did not notify us and it was only because the host knew us from the previous years that we could hold our reservation until Mastercard finally paid as they should. Mastercard provided a very poor service that nearly spoiled our hollyday which also included our non-refundable costs to booked flight and rental car. It is easy to contact the host and they speak good English (and probably also other languages). We could always find a parking lot within 300 meters. There is a little playground for small children and the beach is also children-safe. For seafood do visit Tajao, and for non-tourist food visit Vila Arico (La Emeliana) or Teguedite (El Pedregal). We missed a brush for dish washing and a plastic board for cutting meat, vegetables and bread. The dining options in El Porís are very limited. The nearby Cafe del Mar provide take-away food which may be relevant as their tables always are full. The newly opened El Farareo may be OK but we did not try it.
• Andrew (10/5): A wonderful apartment - The apartment has been furnished very nicely and had everything we could want. It was also larger than we expected - very spacious and fabulous views of the ocean from the large bedroom window. The patio was great and gave good shelter from the strong wind we had throughout the week. It was also great to have the metal ladders and steps from the quayside to get into the sea even when it was quite rough. Poris is a quiet and quite isolated resort which for us was a nice contrast with the busier area of Costa Adeje the week before We liked everything about the apartment. Poris is surrounded by wind farms which suggests our experience of strong winds throughout the week might be quite normal. Nevertheless, the apartment was perfectly built to give shelter - and there are places on the quayside to sunbathe also out of the wind. We found we used our hire car more than we would have in some of the busier areas of Tenerife but we wouldn't have been able to afford such a spacious and comfortable apartment with sea views in those areas. It's a lot of steps up and down to the private car park when carrying luggage.
