Sohini (7/5): Great location and view, below average facilities - Location was great. Food was quite good, good options for breakfast and dinner that you can choose from. There is great view of Kanchanjungha that we were lucky to see from hotel balcony. Rooms are quite spacious and nice. Many facilities were dated and were not working as expected. TV didn’t work, the staffs said they would fix it but they didn’t. Hot water wasn’t available in one of the room and the shower was broken in the other. The blankets and bedsheets were not appropriately cleaned. The hotel is rated as 4 star and we paid high price during Christmas holidays, but the stay can be rated as a decent 3 star.

Pulak (8/5): A Pleasant Stay at Kalimpong - The ambience, the supporting staff, the view. Lack of AC and the single fan in the family room that barely covered one bed. The guests sleeping in the second bed of the family room had to sweat through the night. Please have AC fitted or atleast have another fan fitted to cover the area of the second bed. The ludicrous rate of food items in the menu. For eg: Fried papad is priced at 190/- + tax and a glass of coke is charged 147/- + tax. Too high for this category of hotel.

Sagar (5/5): Passable - the view from outside the family cottage is good.. 1) the location is such that you will have to spend atleast 30 mins to find the hotel as they dont have any bill boards on the outside and its on a steep downhill road. 2) the in house restaurant is pricey and no taste 3) the reception girl was trying us to convince to take a low category room in the hotel building while we made the booking for a juniper family cottage which is much higher in tariff. she even tried very hard to convince us that we are only 2 people so we don't need a family cottage and theres no hot water in the cottage as compared to hotel deluxe room, its too far at the back side of the hotel and even the view is too far from the cottage and view from the room is too good. basically she was unwilling to give us the family cottage and tried very hard to sell us the cheaper hotel room

Dr (9/5): Stay at Summit Barsana with family on a trip to Kalingpong was a wonderful experience. - The view of Kanchanjaga from the room and the ambience. The reception, room, restaurant, garden, play rooms and also the food was excellent. During the whole trip of Kalingpong, Darjeeling, Kurseong and Mirik the best stay was at Summit Barsana. Our next plan to visit Kalingpong will definitely make our stay at Summit Barsana. The narrow approach road to the propperty.
Amit (9/5): Just comforting - The location and view from the property is superb. The staff is very helpful. Priti and ipshika went extra miles to give our family a comfort stay. Roshini and Swastik from restaurant staff was very kind and helpful. Please provide wheelchair and assistance overall in each resort area for senior citizens.
Nirjhar (6/5): Good hotel but could not reward more than 3 out of five. - Room size is very good. Location of the hotel is near to various shops and services . Hotel breakfast is ok. Neither good nor bad. Room was cleaned when requested. Untrained reception The data of arrival was missed and was not maintained correctly. One of the staff Mr. Nygel was of help to correct the reception staff. They missed the information about availability of room heater.

Very romantic. Property clean and hygienic. Staffs are very accommodating and welcoming Approach road towards entrance need to maintain.

The staff was very helpful in all things we needed including advice on tourist activities. Our room was quite spacious for the price and had great decorations. Breakfast was also included! Great deal.
Verified traveler (8/5): - Kalimpong has deteriorated from a romantic gateway as it used to be in the last century to a dirty and muddy hill town. The hotel provided a little bit of respite amongst all the outside noise and chaos. The yard is nice and provides a beautiful view of the hills. The food is particularly good, especially the Bhutanese and local selection and the service at the restaurant just awesome. The head waiter Praveen is courteous and always mindful of your convenience and desire.
