Value for money with polite helpful staff with one of the best. Pool was great and clean. The good in the hotel is delicious. Great money for value. love it there , decent rooms , breakfast and dinner. Colombia restaurant nearby and Annalivia are wonderful place to eat. Any sports or English needs to go toTemple bar in bar street, screens all över , went in for footie and rugby.wide variety of choice if different games on. For dancing do not forfet my moon bar Will be back soon.
• johngrant1980 (10/5): Great little gem in Gumbet - Enjoyed our stay at Serpina. Didn’t know what to expect but it was just the right size hotel and facilities we wanted for a quick week away. The staff are amazing and they last minute found a room for our son to join us. Thank you!!! He had a great holiday and even joined in the Karaoke to our surprise ( so did I to my surprise!!). Rooms are fine- no complaints other than we were close to the bar area and it’s really noisy from other guests until early hours! I’d prefer to be away facing the rear garden if we return. Breakfast great, as well at the drinks and service we received!! Thank you! 🫶
• 226visitor (10/5): An amazing trip at a fantastic hotel - outstanding place! - Just packing ready for another stay at the lovely Serpina, and realised I completely forgot to do a review for our last stay here, so here goes! I spent a week here with my teenage daughter Carys in July. I had previously stayed in Bodrum City, but wanted to try Gumbet this time so we could reach Bodrum and Bitez easily. I booked the Serpina as it had great reviews, looked beautiful in the pictures and was in a great location - very central to Gumbet and the beach, but away from the crowds and noise of the bars and clubs. I saw it was adults only, but that didn't really influence my decision to book there. However, in hindsight that aspect was a huge plus - not only does it make it quieter, it makes the whole atmosphere more relaxing and serene. Being able to float around the lovely pool without screeching/ splashing/ having balls kicked at you was a huge plus. After 6 children, child free is exactly what I will look for now my youngest is 18! Check in/ arrival and first impressions We arrived late but check in was friendly and efficient We paid for the air conditioning at check in as it was mid July and very hot! The pool area, interior and garden are even prettier in real life - just gorgeous and beautifully maintained The soft lighting used inside and out, and little touches like the garden/ swinging seats create a really peaceful and relaxing ambience - it's like a little oasis Even though the facilities are great, it is quite a small hotel which is a plus - less walking around trying to find things/ getting to the pool in the heat! Also makes it easy to nip back to your room if and when you need to There is a quiet area with lovely soft lighting and lots of books to borrow/ swap Lovely bar area selling very reasonably priced drinks Location is perfect - central but quiet, shops and a cashpoint are just a few steps away and the beach is just a couple of minutes walk from the back gate in the garden Near the dolmus stops for Bodrum or Bitez, lots of taxis around too - we never waited more than a couple of minutes for one Rooms: Basic but spotlessly clean with everything you need, including pool towels Plenty of hanging and storage space, lovely big bathroom Lovely little balcony area with seating I requested a quiet, ground floor room if possible which was kindly accommodated The aircon in our first room wasn't working very well, this was completely sorted out within 20 minutes of me mentioning it to Engin by moving us to the room next door - very impressive Aircon in second room was excellent and very easy to use -well worth the 40 euros paid Food I was very impressed that breakfast was included, made it even better value There was always something we liked there, cereals, yoghurts, fruits, eggs, We had a late lunch at the Serpina most days - food was always fantastic and very good value for money. The chicken wraps and Lamb kebab were especially good! In fact, the food quality, service and price was better than any of the other restaurants we ate at whilst there as well as more convenient The drinks and cocktails were also very nice and reasonably priced - I recommend the iced coffees in particular! The staff offer a waiting service around the pool area - this was great as the staff had the perfect balance of being available to order drinks if you wanted to without being too pushy if you didn't Engin usually arranged bingo in the bar area at around 4pm, this was great fun! Again, there was never any pressure to join in The staff reading out the words of all the number combination had us in stitches There was also karaoke one night Pool and Surroundings The pool is amazing - was a perfect temperature and never too crowded We were always able to get a sunbed, although there were the usual few who liked to use towels to reserve the best spots then disappear for hours The hotel seemed to manage this very well by not putting the sunbeds out till around 8am, however as always the odd one or two would be out there waiting with their towels A bit annoying as there are plenty of sunbeds for everyone, but as said this isn't the fault of the staff in any way as they do all they can to prevent this; and despite this beds were always available even later on in the day Staff As said, this hotel is beautiful, however the staff here are what makes it truly outstanding Engin is a true professional who leads his staff efficiently and respectfully, which results in a fantastic atmosphere and service for guests You can see they are constantly monitoring things to ensure guests are happy and have all they need, this pays off massively in terms of guest experience All staff there are fantastic - always quick and happy to help but never pushy. Always very friendly and entertaining but also respectful to me and my daughter I have travelled quite a lot, but never to the same place twice as there is a big world to see. However, our experience at the Serpina has changed that, we can't wait to return and hope to many times in the future. I've never been to a place with so many repeat guests, but now see why that is. My daughter Carys was so upset to leave she cried all the way to the airport - usually she finds travel quite stressful and looks forward to her home comforts so that alone says it all really! A big thank you to all the wonderful staff at the Serpina for their hard work and making our stay so enjoyable, we are so looking forward to returning tomorrow!

The building is well maintained and the staff are Absolutely amazing, They couldn't do more to make sure you are comfortable, It's also a great location with shops and the beach minutes away, Would highly recommend and we will definitely be booking again 😀
• JemsC1 (8/5): Great but some problems - The staff are amazing and they cater for all your needs, breakfast is also really good with a great selection. The daily bingo is great fun, the location is also good, but the pavements around the main roads to the shops bars etc are dangerous. The one problem at the hotel are the sunbed warriors up st 6.30 to put towels out the sun is on one side till late, one lady has had her towels on 4 sunbeds, 2 on one side of the pool and 2 on another, she only actually uses one of the set of 2 in the morning then moves to the other set in the afternoon, no one says anything or moves the towels.

• lynnemN566KR (10/5): Fantastic little gem - Booked with Jet2 for one week . Transfer to hotel very quick only three on a mini bus no waiting around . Hotel staff straight out helping with suitcases check in so quick within five minutes we were at bar having first drink . The staff are absolutely brilliant Ali , Engin , Serkan (apologies to every other member if I didn’t mention you ) . They really do make your experience fantastic , nothing is an issue for them . Breakfast was plentiful lots to choose from , relaxing not feeding time at the zoo . Quality was also good and presentation . You must try food in hotel really tasty chicken wraps etc . Very clean areas in lounge bar area with modern seating . Rooms clean really good shower and hair dryer and toiletries . Beds really comfortable . Mini fridge in room adequate wardrobe space . Rooms are not the largest however you only sleep in them . Balcony’s are small but cute to dry your swimwear . Ask at reception to keep your room if a later flight and we paid for aircon and safety deposit box . Do take your mosquito spray etc . The great thing about this hotel is that it is small cosy people are very friendly who stay here a lot and the staff take care of you . Next door is a medical centre over the road chemist and supermarket 1 minute walk . If you want to go into Bodrum and want a Taxi reception staff will get one to pick up at door . The only negative issue on some days certain guests were reserving sun beds all day and not using them . Or they would get up at silly o’clock (5.30) to put towels on . Overall though we had a fantastic week and would definitely return to this hotel .
• lancseafisher (10/5): Excellent food and drink, outstanding staff - After a two week stay we were reluctant to leave. We last stayed here six years ago, and many improvements have occurred, improvements include, upgraded sunbeds, rooms, decor, dining area and pool area and very good they are too. Once again, it is the staff at the hotel that make your holiday, while taking in the sun on your sunbed, staff are discreetly seeing if you need anything. All areas are spotless and clean, tables are cleared continuously and all the staff are friendly and helpfull. Food and drink at the hotel are reasonably priced and the food is exceptional, well prepared and presented, the two young chefs are excellent. We had a nice and relaxing holiday, and many thanks go to the exceptional staff, Ali, Engin and the team really made our holiday. Hotel is in a quiet part of Gumbet, however it is only a 2 - 5 minute walk to restaurants, bars, cafes and shops, ideally located

• Scenic66532262175 (10/5): A hidden gem of a hotel with great staff. - The hotel is ideal for couples of all ages. Near the centre of Gumbet, but in a quiet location. Good restaurants, shops and bars within a ten minute walk. The food swerved in the hotel is of a good standard. It boasts a good size, clean, swimming pool. Rooms are big enough for two, have a decent bathroom, and probably the most powerful shower I’ve ever been in. The only negative, is the balconies are small, with two stools and a table, but you meet fellow guests around the pool. Finally the staff are brilliant, nothing is too much trouble, they work hard to make your stay great, and you do become part of their family. A special mention to Engin and his team, who ensure you’re refreshed as you laze around the pool. 5 star service, at 3 star prices.

• ShannMcC2003XX (10/5): Amazing - This hotel is absolutely fantastic – the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive and nothing is ever too much to ask for. The whole place is spotless and beautifully maintained, creating such a relaxing atmosphere. I had an amazing experience from start to finish and loved it so much that I’ve already booked a two-week stay for September 2026!

They come over regularly to take drinks orders and get to know you during your holiday. They offer bingo everyday and had a nice atmosphere on the nightime. I never struggled to get a sunbed and actually spent all 7 days at the hotel which I do not usually do, but I was so impressed with the staff. I have paid double for weeks away before and no received the treatment we did here. Thank you all.

• Aeh17 (10/5): Super Holiday at Serpina - Stayed at the Serpina for 11 nights early August and had a brilliant holiday. The location is great, a few minutes walk to restaurants, shops and bars, same for the beach. The staff at the Serpina are fabulous, very attentive and friendly, Engin is usually around to sort things out (including the afternoon bingo) and all of the staff greet you with a friendly word. Lovely pool which is never over crowded and rooms are adequate with a small fridge. We brought a travel kettle which was a great tip from a previous review as there is not one in the room. The balcony is small but adequate for drying things. Being adults only the hotel never seemed overly busy or noisy, great music played around the pool and bar area. All the guests mingled well and we made so many lovely friends, we would definitely stay again if travelling here.
• shaunpA2518WU (10/5): Fantastic time at the Serpina - What a fantastic time we had at this hotel. Staff are very friendly and are always checking to make sure everything is OK. Food is very good, portion size is generous. Location is ideal, not too far from shops and beach but far enough so as not to hear loud music from the bars. Rooms are fine, regularly cleaned. So thanks Ali, Engin and all the other members of staff. Aubergine really enjoyed herself, Tracie loved the Karaoke and I enjoyed the EFES time. Will definitely be back.
• DJones41 (10/5): Hotel Serpina experience - Rated as 3* is about right but it is comfortable, well located, clean with friendly staff. The pool is warm and bar snacks available. There is Internet although the speed was low at my time of visiting. Air conditioning and safe in the room at extra charge but well worth it. Bars and restaurants are close and an easy walk of a few hundred yards. The pool is warm and not overcrowded, the rooms are serviced daily. If you are going to Bodrum which is more expensive for drinks and food (although gumbet is not cheap either) this is a good base. If you are a family on a budget consider all inclusive as this hotel is b&b but if you prefer eating out in the many restaurants this is a great option.
• lowrihughes (10/5): Cannot fault hotel serpina - Stayed at Hotel Serpina for two weeks and loved every bit of it. The location is fantastic, not right by the bars but only a minute walk until you find them. There’s two shops up the road and one is open late. It’s also not far from the beach. Staff are very friendly and are always checking if you need anything but are not on top of you. There is a good selection at breakfast, omelettes or crepes every other day and some different bits to choose from. We had a downstairs pool view room which had a lovely balcony and we could pop back and forth to the room through the gate. The rooms have what you need and cleaners come in everyday. The pool is a good size and there are enough sunbeds, depending where you want to go you may have to get them earlier but you can relax anywhere. If anyone is going to Gumbet we would recommend Hotel Serpina for a welcoming, calm and comfortable holiday.

• graingerangel (10/5): Best Holiday - Amazing time at Serpina hotel. The hotel was gorgeous. The staff are absolutely wonderful, they can't do enough for you. The pool was lovely with plenty of beds. The rooms are great. The food was really enjoyable. In fact the nicest lamb shish kebab in Gumbet. We would definately go back again. We arrived as holiday guests and feel we left as friends.

Hotel serpina you never fail to make sure everyone is welcome and looked after . • RedMacca (8/5): Chilled out Adults only Hotel - We arrived at around 2330 due to a delayed flight. First things first, we paid for a fortnight’s AirCon (£70). You can’t do without it. It got hotter as the holiday wore on. A couple of days reached 38deg, plummeting to 32deg at 10 o’clock at night. We also hired a safe for £22. The room was a decent size but the balcony is small. We only used it for drying clothes. There isn’t a kettle, which was a bit of a surprise as we thought most hotels stocked them these days. To be fair, it isn’t advertised, we just assumed. Breakfast was fine, the staff are great, always checking on you. They never stop taking orders and delivering drinks throughout the day. The pool is great. Loads of sunbeds. If you want a particular spot you’ll need to be a bit sharp in the morning. Sunbeds on the left are shaded until late morning and the right is shaded at 1530. The top side is weird. Some appear shaded all day while others don’t appear to get any at all. As someone who has a full house…blue eyes, auburn hair, freckles, pale skin, I can testify that the umbrellas do the job. Trust me, not all of them do. Only a couple of hundred yards to the restaurants and bars. The aforementioned Columbia is very good (we went twice) and we liked the Ali Baba for drinks. The bus to Bodrum is pretty frequent from the top road (it runs in front of the Ali Baba). The fare is TL40, but I think it’s less if you pay by card. If you liked Fun Pubs in the 80s, there are a few places trying to revive that in Gumbet. One of them, Atlantis, charges nearly £8 for a G&T! A lot of Gumbet venues also appear to have a fixation on karaoke.

• C8470BWdavidk (10/5): - What a lovely find….Hotel Serpina is simply the best…well here we go, the staff are simply amazing, they can’t do enough for you, the rooms are as good as you will get anywhere for the price you pay they are clean, functional and well maintained. Breakfast choice is excellent something for everyone’s taste, the food menu for lunches, dinner or snacks is excellent great value and good healthy sized portions. The bar is as well stocked as you would expect on holiday and the prices are no different to all the local bars and restaurants. The pool is a great feature and there are plenty of sun beds for those of us that love to chase the sun rays !! We enjoyed it so much we have booked again for next year…..see you all then.
• dawncM3129JW (10/5): - Just returned home after a 2 week stay at the Serpina a wonderful small and very friendly hotel. The staff are very attentive and can’t do enough for you. The pool is big enough for the amount of guests and there are enough sun beds even if you fancy a lie in. Engin and his staff know every guests by first names and will help with any problem you may have. The hotel is situated in the perfect spot just far enough from Bar Street for a quiet night. The rooms are adequate and beds are comfy. Only issue the balcony could have been bigger, not big enough to sit and have a drink on the balcony only 2 small stools. A real gem in Gumbet and I would definitely return.
• O8500UPlisas (10/5): Serpina Hotel - I went to the Serpina Hotel from the 4th July 2025 for a week on a recommendation and was not disappointed. The hotel was lovely and clean and the rooms were the same. The staff made our holiday complete from the housekeeping, reception and especially the waiting staff. They were friendly, accommadating, helpful, attentive and so lovely - special praise to Engin, Serkan and Uga - I am sorry for those names I have forgotten as lovely girl behind the bar and other waiting staff. • P1730OIcindyc (10/5): Perfect Summer holiday - We were welcomed by lovely staff at Serpina - the rooms are a little basic but have what you need in them, you also need aircon if you’re going this time of year - its roasting! Shout out to Engin and all the team there, you are most welcoming people, the lads serving round the pool are all so kind and polite - nothing is too much trouble! Wednesday night is karaoke night which is a good laugh, Engin will have you all up dancing 😁! The food here is excellent and very good size portions, the chicken pizza is absolutely gorgeous, its enough for two for lunch time. We haven’t been to Turkey for over 20 years, and yes, the prices have increased, but everywhere has, so it wasn’t really a surprise. It’s in a great location, just a walkway from restaurant’s and bars. Gumbet beach is a short walk but we were recommended to go to Bitez beach instead which is just a few pounds taxi ride away, its a lovely beach. All in all a great place and would definitely go back. Hopefully see you all next year
• alit285 (10/5): The review speaks for itself - 3rd visit to this fab adults only hotel. Cannot fault the service and respect for each and every guest. Our room was fab (air-conditioning is a must this time of year - don't scrimp). Buffet breakfast is amazing and caters for every palate (unless your super fussy), they also do a mean English breakfast (chargeable). Food at the hotel is always fresh, and superbly cooked - compliments to the lovely lady chef - sorry, I don't know your name. All the staff are superb, Engin (69) - knows everyone's name from day 1 - what a man!, nothing more to be said but if your buying him a drink he loves an absolute, also partial to a little smoke. Ali - what an amazing guy! He personally pays for each and every cat at the hotel to be neutered- also sings beautifully and brought me to tears - respect man ❤️. Sean- again amazing, the cutest softest spoken gentleman and loves to make sure everyone is happy. All staff, cleaners, cooks n waiters looked after us impeccably. Appreciation my friends. Special shout out for oz boat life boat tour - find him on Facebook- he is very responsive to private messages - £40 English pounds - 4 or 5 swim stops, all soft drinks are free - tea, coffee, coke etc are free but you have to pay for beer and a few other alcoholic drinks, best bit was the superb chocolate cake at the end of the day 😀 dinner included, let him know if u veggie before - they pick you up around 9.30am n drop you off around 5.40pm. Take plenty high factor suncream. Special shout out to the resteraunt Annalivia just the cutest sweetest views and the most amazing food - must try is the hot chocolate souffle, served with a pot of vanilla ice cream and a pot of cream, divine! Try the chicken soup. You can book on fb or ask Engin to book for you. If you ask him for a taxi 5 minutes before your booking, taxi arrives within minutes. When you arrive the resteraunt comes out n pays for the taxi - trust me! You won't be disappointed. Maria is the sweetest person and always wants you to enjoy her food, if there is one element of your meal you don't want, tell her! She will adjust to your taste. House white and red wine is lush! Tell Maria that Marie and Ali from serpina sent you. Try the lamb shish at the serpina - nicest most gorgeous lamb I've ever tasted,carbonara and beef wraps good too. If your an early riser - take a kettle for your room - milk available at second supermarket - they will help you if you ask them. Bitez beach is a must Try for something different to break up pool days - beach is amazing - we went to the Chinese one with the purple sunbeds - if you buy a drink, you get the sunbed for the day but don't get stung as they charged 3 guests 3000tl (£60)for the three of them but when challenged by us and told them they were our friends, they said that they can eat n drink up to the value of 3000tl, no refund if you didn't eat n drink this much n charged for anything over this amount. Sea is superwarm there are teeny fishes but my friend n I used to buy a loaf of bread to take down and feed them - for entertainment you understand 😁 There is another resteraunt i would love to mention - Amigos - Mexican, turn right out of the Serpina n walk slightly up the bank for one minute, chilli con carne mmm hmm - best we ever tasted! Chicken quesidilla , again mmm. Owner is so lovely - been there 28 years and so under advertised. Nachos home made! House white also doable. Colombia- turn right n walk to the corner do fab balloon bread n dips n also good steaks n offer numerous set menus - breakfast also good! And on a set lunchtime menu. Casablanca up the top - walkable but uphill - very recommended. Do the most amazing turkish food - i had the adana kebab - lamb shish in pastry, good pina colada! They pick you up n drop u off too. Loads of people recommended resteraunts but we ran out of time. I'm not going to lie, turkey is way not as cheap as it used to be - Britain has inflation so do these guys continue to haggle - the more you buy, the bigger the discount. Sorry for the longest review in history but this is the one I wish was there for me to read the first time we went - go to the Serpina, relax and enjoy yourselves. Ps mozzies are rife - prepare yourselves, also ants which can bite. Enjoy your holiday 🥰
• DenandTracy (10/5): 3rd visit to this hotel - 3rd visit to this cracking little adult only hotel. All the staff are fantastic special thanks to Ali (an amazing man) and Engin they were attentive to all customers and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are basic and clean, the balcony on the first floor is alot smaller than the ground floor. Breakfast had a good variety and the pool snack bar served lovely food for a reasonable price. We would return here in a heartbeat. Hope to see you all next year
• l1verpool (10/5): Great place to stay - We visited as friends and family at one point there was 10 of us staying for a hen doo. The staff are so lovely and friendly special mention to Engin, Sercon and Ali ( sorry if spelt wrong) . The rooms are lovely and clean . The food was delicious , reasonable and large portions. The atmosphere was friendly and there was a lot of returning customers . The pool area was clean and plenty of sunbeds . The staff allowed us to decorate the chill out area for the hen doo and the bedroom of the bride to be. Bingo in the afternoon if u want to play which was good fun as well as karaoke, again this was down to personal preferences and all done good fun . The staff ere very attentive to people who were less mobile than others . Thank you all for a great time and would recommend this hotel .
• EllaMaxwell (10/5): Best holiday ever! Lovely hotel! - Lovely hotel! Me and my friend were returning to Gumbet after being reps here 10 years ago! It’s the only adult only hotel we could find and it was great value for money. The staff are excellent, and it was a really friendly vibe every single day. They really make the hotel! I think it’s fair to say we were some of the youngest in the hotel, and everyone loved hearing our stories of bar street from the night before! We only made breakfast once, but it’s a traditional Turkish breakfast and fits its purpose. The rooms are on the small side, but all that you need really to sleep and shower! Very clean and the beds are comfortable. The food in the hotel is delicious, we ate there for lunch most days. Good portion sizes, enough for two to share one meal really. The sunbeds are comfy and you never have to rush up early for a bed, there are always some whatever time of the day, which is ideal for those that don’t want to get up early to try and get a sunbed! We would 100% stay at the Serpina again. We are coming back in September, it’s a shame that it’s already fully booked! We wish we didn’t wait 10 years to return to Gumbet , we have the best holiday ever!!! Thanks Serpina!!! Columbia restaurant down the road also has lovely meals. Annalivias is also a wonderful place to eat near bar street. For bars we recommend my moon, staff there are great and get you up dancing! You must also check our 4ever bar round the corner from my moon.

• audreymL2889RR (10/5): Our lovely chill out hotel with wonderful staff - The Serpina hotel is a wonderful place to stay, simply due to Ali, Engin, Mehmet and the other staff. They can't do enough for you The hotel is clean, has a lovely pool area with plenty sun loungers and a shaded garden area. If you have a problem when you are there don't worry and whinge about it tell one of the team and it will be fixed The hotel is quiet, close to everything but not too close to the nightlife. This hotel is our chill out holiday where we have visited 15 times.
• 732annemariet (10/5): A lovely relaxing week - The selling point for us for this hotel was it is adults only. We quickly realised soon after arriving we had absolutely made the right choice with it. All the staff could not have done anymore for us, they made sure we had everything we needed and nothing was too much trouble. They remember every guests name and take the time to chat and get to know you. There was bingo every day at 4 pm, and Wednesday night was karaoke and dancing. All that work there want their guests to have the best time they can, so no matter how long of a day they had or how tired you thought they were ,it never showed. Breakfast every day was a great selection and something for everyone. We ate lunch a couple of times at the pool bar, and the food was delicious. Thank you all for such an amazing week.

Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Pool area had comfortable sun beds and the pool was a good size for swimming. Lastly a hotel that managed to make everyone feel valued 100% recommend!
• margaretpJ7952FD (10/5): Super Serpina. - Just returned from a week stay 1st June till 8th first time in Gumbet. This hotel didn't disappoint we stayed in room 111. Not much of a view from the balcony but wasn't in our room much. Everyone was so friendly Ali and Engin made a point of speaking to every guest every day. Special mention goes to Cerkan who never stopped working making sure everyone had what they need like a nice cold Efes. The afternoon bingo sessions were a good touch to the hotel plenty laughs. Food was really good too. Pool was a good size and always clean. We would recommend the hotel and will be booking up to return again.

• ionac2018 (8/5): Room 105 solo trip - honest review ✌️ - Staff were very welcoming, comfy beds, the power shower was amazing, great location, a nice touch with the frozen glass with the effes, breakfast omelette and pancakes with watermelon was delicious. My only negatives was the balcony view but I later found out you need to select you want pool view but it was obviously fully booked and I also felt the chairs on the balcony would be better with a backing as they were just stools, mould in the shower, and I saw previous comments about the same mould, they did try cleaning it but I think the grout and sealant needs to be redone to avoid future problems. I think if I was to ever go back to the serpina I would bring my own kettle and would get a room away from reception/restaurant area. What I really liked was there was a link on their website to WhatsApp the manager if there was any problems or questions, so any problems just ask and they will do whatever they can to help you which I thought was 10/10 Thank you for a nice stay and I hope to be back in the future. • Curious519593 (10/5): Warm welcome on our first visit to Turkey - This was our first visit to Turkey and we were not disappointed. The hotel is amazing & the staff couldn’t be more helpful and welcoming. Our room was cleaned daily & was very comfortable.The bingo in the afternoon was fun with Engin calling out the numbers in his own special way . Karaoke nights were also great !!! As a solo traveller, the staff really looked after me. They would check in to make sure everything was okay and were always happy to help. Free WiFi in all areas. A good sized pool with plenty of loungers. A good variety at breakfast which was replenished as needed. The hotel is in a good location with supermarkets nearby. The atmosphere was great and rooms were decent. I would highly recommend and would definitely return. Thank you for a great week.

The 5 star is for the staff they are so friendly, welcome you back with open arms. Holiday makers return year in year out and that speaks volumes.
• Geordie_Ranger (10/5): Absolutely Brilliant… 😎 - Just had an absolutely fantastic week at the Serpina Hotel, Gumbet. A family run hotel with staff that are very attentive to their guests needs. Rooms are modern, pool area is immaculate and the food is great. This is an absolute gem of a hotel in the heart of Gumbet (but far enough away from the noise of bar street and the beach clubs). Bodrum Harbour about a 30 minute walk away. Gumbet beach and bar street about a 5 minutes walk away. Only have good things to say about this hotel and it’s fantastic staff. Fabulous week away in the sun!
• Unic (10/5): Very friendly hotel - We visited for a week as part of a Jet2 package. Our visit was off season, so the area was quiet. First visit to this area and we had a great time. The hotel is adults only, fairly small and not full at this time of the year. Room was reasonable size and clean and tidy. Staff and customers (almost all U.K. based) were very friendly. Breakfast was fine. Limited choice but good bread, olives, salad and cold meats. Cereal etc. I’d imagine choices get wider as the hotel fills up. Location was good, near to beach, shops and restaurants. Also near public transport to Bodrum. Thank you all at Serpina, we hope to return
• foxykazz (10/5): Home from home - Lovely home from home , staff all fabulous, beds super comfy. Yes the rooms are basic but spotlessly clean and have everything you need , breakfast is lovely and the chai is fabulous . Serious tea addict here so very important . On the edge of Gumbet 5 mins to the beach so not near the clubs and noise. Aircon is good for extra charge didn't need it this time as went late in year, but last year I did. Only thing I'd change is the pool needs heat I have never experienced such a cold dip ever ! 🥶 but you can't have it all, it would cost a fortune to heat it. Until I discovered the Serpina I always stayed in Bodrum kumbache area but I'm converted as bus stop nearby and also a nice walk. Well done Ali ( known him 30 years) your staff are a credit to you.
• eldada2023 (8/5): Serpina Great Adults Only Hotel - My partner and I have been meaning to leave a review for this hotel which we visited back in July 2024. What a fantastic find for adults only. We had a great welcome by the owner and the staff there who were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is not that big but we knew that so it made our stay there a bit more intimate. The rooms are a reasonable size but the beds and the pillows were so comfortable. The rooms were cleaned daily. The hotel has small Juliet balconies. Ours was over looking the pool. There are seats on the balcony but they don't have backs on them so if you have a back issue this can be uncomfortable after a while. The hotel has a huge swimming pool and very felt crowded. No matter what time of the day, you can always find seats around the pool. The seats are very sturdy with lots of padding on them getting a parasol was never a problem either. There was a small garden where if you wanted to get away from people for a while and just chill. We never eat at the hotel but was told the food there was good and the portions were large. The hotel is on the main strip and not to far to walk. There is a great place to eat which is literally 100 yards away from the hotel called the Columbian. All the bars and shops are close by. The beach is about 400 meters away. You have to use the back entrance by the garden to get there. We definitely intend to come back to this hotel again next summer. I booked last minute, knowing most places would be closed as it was the end of season but the Serpina did not disappoint. The beds are so comfy, rooms are clean and tidy with plenty of storage. Housekeeping kept on top of things and the rest of the hotel was lovely and clean. All of the staff are amazing and can’t do enough for you. Serhan, Mustafa and Engin are always making sure you are having a good time (and ensuring your glass is filled up) I would definitely stay here again. I’ll be back next summer for sure

We have been going to Turkey for last 19yrs and this hotel is top of our list . Very clean and tidy food excellent pool cleaned daily and areas around the hotel.
