The room itself was average, quite small but perfect if you are thinking on enjoy the city and use it just for sleep. There is no reception and the instructions to access can be a bit confusing. The shower floods the whole bathroom.

• Eliane (4/5): Très mauvaise expérience, ne correspond pas au prix. - La proximité du centre Nous n’avons malheureusement pas passé une nuit confortable. Le lit était très dur (pour une chambre double supérieure), les oreillers étaient sales et dégageaient une forte odeur de transpiration. Une des serviettes avait encore des traces de maquillage. La propreté générale de la chambre et de l’hôtel laissait à désirer. De plus, seulement deux serviettes étaient disponibles, dont une inutilisable à cause de son état. Il manquait également des produits de toilette. Nous avons été dérangés par le bruit extérieur, car on entendait très clairement les conversations des personnes dans la rue. Par ailleurs, le fait qu’il n’y ait pas d’ascenseur n’est pas mentionné, ce qui complique l’accès, surtout avec des bagages. Les escaliers sont très étroits et peu pratiques.

• Cerys (4/5): It’s okay, if you don’t mind feeling unsafe about you and your property. - The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the euro star. That’s about it. The property have very steep spiral steps with no reception. They have a sister hotel opposite which has a reception. We did a bag drop at the sister hotel and they put they put our bags in a room with other bags next to the desk, we came back an hour later to change shoes and found our bags in the sitting area next to a guest, i was very disappointed and felt unsafe as that guest or anyone could of taken my valuables of medication. I asked reception why this was the case and they said the bag drop was full (not true). We came back when at 3:30 because we wasn’t sent the code for our room. I then asked and they gave me it. I asked for our bags and they said do you want to keep them here because the steps are very steep. I needed my bags just like any other person would and they didn’t have people on the desk 24 hours a day so how would we get our things when needed? We replied no we would like to take them and they said okay we trust you. I do not understand what this hotel thinks luggage is for? If you bring luggage with you, you are going to need whatever is in it. We managed to get our things up and down the stairs but our room did feel very unsafe. We are teenage girls and there were a LOT of activity going on in the hotel and we heard it all.

• WELLS (1/5): Book it for Saturday 24th went to hotel checked in got to room double bed didn't evan stay there - I didn't like it i traveled with a friend as I have done previously we booked at bunk bed room and when we got there was told we booked a double room which we definitely didn't told us there is no other rooms available and we will give u a extra blanket instead of sorting the problem told me they only had a room in the hotel opposite which was over 200euro for the one night I ended up finding an alternative accommodation for around 140euro for the night at my own expense tried to contact cs hotel and we never stayed in the room top floor door straight in front of you I believe room 52 the window don't evan close lil bit of wind and it just flys back open they have put a chain on the window so it doesn't fly all the way open Someone at reception to speak to Help resolving the problem

• Sander (5/5): - Great location! The shower setup was not what I expected - there was essentially a toilet with a shower head and a drain, instead of the shower being separate. The walls were also very thin, so noise traveled easily between rooms.

We had trouble with the toilets on our floor and had to go to other floors to utilize the bathroom. Our sheets had weird yellowish stains and towels had a foul mildew scent. Desk staff was also unhelpful when it came to trouble with our door code. It eventually started working but we were unable to use our code at the front door and had to wait for people coming in and out to enter

Tüm resimler yalan resimler ile alakası yok otelin, odalarda tuvalet bile yok ortak alarak kullanılıyor duş ve tuvaletler, odalar küçücük bavulumuzu bile açamadık yer olmadığı için, konaklayan insanlar vasat, sabaha kadar sürekli odanıza girmek için uğraşan insanlar yüzünden uyanıyorsunuz.

• Clémentine (7/5): Very central - The hotel is 5 months walk away from the train station. Very central and close to bars and restaurants. Our room had its own bathroom and toilet which was very appreciated. If you are disabled, this hotel, like most places in Amsterdam is not made for you. The stairs are really steep and I didn’t see a lift.

• Angelie (8/5): - Wij zochten een overnachting om te slspen in het centrum en dat is goed gelukt. Het is schoon. Er is geen receptie aanwezig en via email gaat alles in het engels. Aan de overkant van het hotel kun je ook terecht om in te checken. Daar zat een zeer vriendelijke engels sprekende man. Je moet goed ter been zijn want je moet altijd trappen op. Dit was voor ons geen probleem. Toilet en badkamer is in 1 ruimte. De wc is daardoor wat krap maar te doen.

• céline (8/5): Bien placé et bon rapport qualité prix pour une nuit. - Pour une nuit fait le job mais je n'y passerais pas une semaine. La position a même pas 5,minutes de la gare et du vieux quartier est le plus. J’avais un peu peur du bruit mais au final, j'ai dormis comme un bébé. Très bonne réaction du propriétaire quand j’ai signalé par mail un problème de bruit de tyauterie. A notre retour 2h plus tard, c’était réglé. Rapport qualité/prix, c’est une bonne affaire. Les 5 étages sans ascenseur. Après une journée de visite, c’est assez raide.

There is no elevator in the building and it was challenging to move luggage up the steep staircase. Soundproofing is poor; noise from people walking in the corridors and opening/closing their doors can be heard in the room. There was no reception in the building. There was no phone available in the hotel to contact the hotel staff. Even though there was a contact number provided, some tourist may not have call roaming.

• Amy (8/5): - Our stay at CS Hotel was great. Modest rooms shared bathroom, nice view with a bit of noise from the street, but it didn't bother us. Extreme climb on the stairs. 74 stairs to the top floor, so if you're not good with stairs, this property will not be good for you. Other than that it was a very pleasant visit. Johanna was excellent at reception across the street and nd really appreciate her assistance and direction. Would not hesitate to recommend.
