- Paul (8/5): It was a good vacation and good weather - Location, pool and staff Nothing
- Alex (10/5): Nice and relaxing - Every thing. Felt safe. And the staff was excellent Nothing
- Michael (8/5): - It was a very enjoyable stay at Hotel Plaza Europa. As usual, they accommodated well. The only thing was that the kitchen could have been better equipped, but the staff were right there when needed to help me out if necessary. A great stay as usual.
- Mary (5/5): Not a fancy place, just a place to rest your head at night. - The Dominican Republic is a third world country so everything was as expected, Very good for the price and the staff was very nice. No hot water at one point, not enough bedding
- George (10/5): I would recommend all friends to visit - Good customer service and security protection N/A
- Michael (8/5): - I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Plaza Europa. The people are friendly, and the room was good. The air conditioning was excellent. The price was right. All around, I have happy memories of that place.
- Mohamed (8/5): Good accommodation and near everything you are looking for in Sosúa - Location, staff and value for the money I like it and I’ll be back
- Dennis (6/5): - The Big Fridge and great shower.
I would be nice if you could replace the mats with matresses.
- Gottlieb (1/5): Bad -
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Killraine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aaron (6/5): - Nothing special about the hotel, there we insects in the room. But the staff keep the room clean.
- Sebastian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Omar (5/5): Passable -
- ronald (2/5): - Do not stay here, pay the extra money and stay at a better location it’s not worth it.
- Mohamed (8/5): Very good - Privacy and cleanliness and good staff
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Wayne (8/5): The room was nice and large however you may not always get the room in the photos. - Water was hot, air was cold, and cleaning staff cleaned every day. Security was great. The evening/night is very nice and helpful. I paid for a room with a balcony and pool view, however that’s not what I got. I told the receptionist and it was basically I can take one of the rooms offered because I’m not getting any money back. I ended up getting a room with a closed in balcony, no pool view. The weekend receptionist is mean as hell. I heard other travelers say the same thing. She was just plain nasty.
- Rochelle (8/5): Very good - Local to everything Because it’s in a main area, there is a lot of noise in the night.
- Wayne (9/5): The room meet my expectations - The room is spacious and clean. Everthing worked as advertised. The staff was nice. N/A
- Polite (7/5): Good - The one bedrooms are of a good size and it's always good to have a kitchenette to be able to cook in order to save money and not eat out for breakfast lunch and dinner Unfortunately there's a residency across the street not under the control of the hotel but they seem to play very loud music until 3 4 sometimes 5:00 in the morning which is a pain when you're trying to sleep which is why I like my room in the back away from the Main Street area
- Anton (10/5): Great service and staff very helpful - Very friendly and helpful Nothing all was good
- David (7/5): Good - The security at front door. The door man with his shotgun Brought me peace of mind.
- Romeo (7/5): Very good. No complaint - Location was perfect Too much noise
- Anton (8/5): It was my first time visiting, and I’m sure there were better and there were worse places to stay; this location is a pl - Room gets really cold.
Shower water gets really hot.
Right on the strip. Mattress could be updated and softer.
Code for Room 112 didn’t work and I had to use a manual key, which could actually be a good thing, depending on how you look at it.
Bare minimum in the rim, itself.
- Bruce (6/5): Better to look for a place off the main road and pay a few extra dollars - The security guy named flaco and the outside bar called Ramona's was the best part part. They treated you like family The room was kind of run down, sliding door to the balcony couldn't open until I used all my muscle. The noise was less than Las Palmeras, but it is a little further away from the action than some of the other places
- Javier (1/5): Bad - Nothing my buddy slipped down messed up his leg runened his trip
- Eleno (6/5): Pleasant -
- Rustin (4/5): Disappointing -
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ninoslav (7/5): Good -
- Dezmond (10/5): - I recommend this hotel to anyone planning to stay in Sosua that wants to be in a good location that is close to the nightlife.
- Sims (7/5): Good -
- Sebastian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brooks (9/5): Superb -
- Jeho (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (6/5): Overall a decent stay, but too noisy - Staff were great! Ramona’s bar was amazing and very convenient Too noisy. I had a room backing onto a basketball court and small neighborhood with constant noise.
- Kurachik (1/5): Never again - I. Made the best of it Hard to find no help from the front desk.too many mosquitoes in my room. Too many women soliciting at out side bar. This place is definitely not for a family … men only !
- Alberto (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gayle (5/5): Passable -
- Trapp (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nathaniel (2/5): Staff was good. They cleaned the room up just enough to sell it. I put the bed pillows on the floor. - Location was decent Bed pillows smell like cigarettes. Bed was cheap and uncomfortable. Gave me one thin sheet, no blanket no comforter. Room smelled like cigarettes and I do not smoke. Can’t stand it.
- Glenn (5/5): One night is long enough. - Hotel Europa is good for a one or two night stay. The Best thing about the stay is the bar out front owned by a beautiful Dominican woman named Ramona. The hotel is very out dated. It's location is a 10 minute walk to the center of the strip where all the action is. If they renovated Europa... it would be a great hotel. Rooms.. felt more like a 3rd world prison.
- Sebastian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jerry (7/5): Good -
- Cameron (2/5): - No Wifi, or cellular reception.
- Terry (5/5): Ok for the price. - Staff could work on being more friendly and communicative and there was NO hotel shuttle as promised.
- Anton (10/5): A pleasure and great experience - Close to other areas very friendly staff Nothing
- Bertel (6/5): Pleasant - The location was excellent I could not get wi fi in my room, and I did like the bathroom. It needs upgrading.
- Patrick (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (5/5): Passable -
- Olsen (2/5): Very poor -
- Todd (8/5): Great stay - I enjoyed the service Nothing
- Apollo (4/5): Disappointing -
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joe (9/5): Superb - Primo location, excellent price per stay. security, check-in, Maintenance, rooms were cleaned & fresh towels daily. Spacious rooms/ balcony. pool. Jacuzzi spa out of order.
Breakfast not incl.
- Ramsel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mohamed (10/5): - Great service and very good staff, they are always there to help and serve you
- Allan (4/5): - I will just come out and say it, I was walking up the stairs to my room and a rat, not a mouse, a full sized rat ran down the stairs and right past my foot. When I got to the room I was literally shaking from being so startled. I told the woman at the reception window and she didn't seem bothered at all. Thank God I was only there for the day and decided to stay because I had a flight that evening and the place was cheap. If you want a cheap place with decent air conditioning, but don't mind rodents then enjoy. Not for me though.
- Vincent (10/5): great - close to everything nothing
- Marcus (10/5): I would recommend someone to stay there if they ever visited Sosua - I loved the price for the room and the staff. N/A
- Todd (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Jeffrey (1/5): Bad - Outdated , water was dirty out of the faucet, bed was hard.
- Sonny (10/5): i had a wonderful stay. - staff & hospitality were excellent to us.
- Joseph (8/5): Very good -
- William (8/5): Very good -
- Jason (7/5): ole reliable where you can have a good time but I think I will sunset this location and try a new more modern place if i - price is ok and I never had major issues but I have had issues. the location while being close to where you want to walk to the area is kinda trashy. this is not the hotel’s fault but you do get harassed by beggars and the motorcycle men constantly. I have stayed for years but the rooms are out dated. the wifi is not strong all over and some rooms the a/c is really dated. the water coming out the pipes also have to be run for a few minutes before you use them and it has a smell.
this trip the restaurant which is managed separately from the hotel was not fully stocked many items unavailable for the 5 days we stayed.
- Mardaly (1/5): nothing like you see on the picture - nothing the place is nothing like the picture, the area looks tooooo danger, it was full of police and not safe, the pool looks disgusting, and we bought some drinks in the bar of the hotel, and they charge us , 3 times the prices of the drinks from the rests of the country, I am Dominican and for real, it was 300 pesos for one beer when every where else is 100 Dominican pesos
- Patrick (6/5): - Charging an additional fee for more than 1 visitor to a room
- Rachel (8/5): - Very good price. Pool. Free coffee. Nice staff. Bar and restaurant on site. Walking distance to beach and other restaurants. Overall a good place.
- Cruz (2/5): Very poor - The air conditioning was cold. There was a kitchen in the room. There was hot water and the bathroom was clean. The balcony was shared by two rooms and the balcony door would not lock correctly. We couldn't go out because anyone could get into the room. There was only one blanket that didn't even fit the bed. The mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable. The pool and pool area looked unkept and dirty. Outside the hotel looked dirty and smelled bad. The pictures on the website is totally photoshopped.
- Lammell (9/5): Superb -
- Welton (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was great as I always book this hotel. Unfortunately I got a room without a closet, drawers or a balcony.
- Xavier (9/5): Superb -
- Michael (10/5): - I love this place.
- Mahesh (6/5): Pleasant -
- Val (10/5): - Great stay ..staff was good....good for solo traveler.
- Jones (8/5): Very good -
- Rollins (8/5): My stay was very comfortable. - Everthing was very adequate..
Check in to check out. There is always room for improvement.
- Chris (5/5): Passable -
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bernell (10/5): will stay again - excellent Customer Service they need blankets on the bed
- Jacinto (1/5): No - I was clean They In this hotel they hide prices in the rate, they put it in small letters at the end... they tell you it's so much and when you check in they charge you more than what is established... I've been to many places using booking.com and it's the first time that it happens to me... I think it's a bad practice, also no wiffi
- Lidia (7/5): Good -
- Brian (9/5): Superb -
- The (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly staff and very helpful. Nice location.
- Carlnaci (10/5): - Everything
- Rina (6/5): was an experience - for the area it’s in it’s pretty clean and the staff were nice shower didn’t work properly barely any water coming out, no cleaning supplies to do dishes or kitchen towels
- Lew (6/5): Face towels needed - On my trip October 3rd-6th. HOTEL EUROPA WAS VERY EFFICIENT IN ACCESS TO MY LEISURELY ENDEAVORS. I FELT SAFE! THE YOUNG LADIES @ THE BAR WERE VERY ACOMODATING. I DIDNT LIKE THE FACT THAT THUS HOTEL HAD NO FACE CLOTHES. ALSO I NEEDED FRESH TOWELS. I WENT TO THE FRONT DESK @ 4AM, @ND WAS TOLD MY TOLD WERE CHANGED THE PREVIOUS DAY,@ND THE PERSONAL WHO CHANGES WONT BE IN TIL' 9!💁💁💁💁.
