Michael (10/5): I was so happy to have stayed here! - Everything- The view from my room was incredible. The room itself was spacious and super comfortable. The restaurant has so much character, and every single staff member was welcoming and accommodating. This was a real gem. I will return!

The light would shine through enough be unpleasant. We also asked for a room refresh and It didn’t happen, when we returned it would have been too disruptive to our stay to have them do it again. Restaurant was overpriced.

Mary (10/5): Most amazing getaway I have ever had, looking forward to taking advantage of more activities offered - It was an amazing getaway, we booked our next stay in 5 weeks during Bentleyville 2025. We brought our Dog and even on the pet floor we heard nothing, super quiet. Staff was amazing!! This will be our go-to getaway. We certainly enjoyed the outdoor hot tub, this was the main reason we originally booked, I would just say it could have been a bit hotter and more jet power, but we did make good use of it.

Audrey (10/5): Great for families and toddlers - Great view of Duluth aerial bridge, and you could see a peek of the Lake Shore Railroad Museum which was a delight for our 3.5 year old son! Our 2nd floor room had a lovely walk-out balcony to sit outside and enjoy the view of the bridge.
Kelly (8/5): Beautiful place to stay. - The property is beautiful and well maintained. So close to the concerts, we were able to watch from our room. Most of the staff was really friendly. There is a lot for families to do there. We will be back. We were told the shuttle was first come first serve. We waited in line for a half an hour. When the shuttle got there, the driver took all the people going to the event center and we had to wait again. I asked the desk person about it and she said she would talk to the manager. She said if we waited for the shuttle to get back, she would talk to the driver. Nothing was done.

Alyssa (10/5): - We were in town for a music festival at Bayfront and loved the view and being able to listen to sound check on the deck. The hotel was extremely busy yet the staff was efficient, friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the basketball and pickleball courts, the outdoor hot tub, the bar, restaurant and especially the outdoor fire pits with the best smelling wood. We look forward to returning to enjoy the outdoor sauna. Pier B is the best hotel we have ever stayed at in Duluth!
Brian & Barb (8/5): Great views and outdoor seating - The view and outdoor seating sold us on this place; it couldn't be better. The sheets were high quality, the towels were really nice and thick. The distance to Canal Park was great, it was an easy walk. We weren't impressed with the slow internet speed, you had to pay $10/day extra for higher speed, which is crazy considering how much the rooms cost. The shower was odd; the flow/pressure was low, there was no real shower door, just a half door and the rest was open. We weren't a big fan of the extra resort fee on top of the room cost. We had no use for any of the features it included--I doubt many did.

There was hair in the shower, made me question the cleanliness of the room. The hot tub area was extremely icey, someone fell and got hurt. The staff acted as if we should be extremely happy we were upgraded rooms. We paid for a king room facing the lake, that’s what we got. My biggest issue was the shower being dirty.
JENNA (10/5): Peaceful - We LOVE. The location, close to the canal, dining, activities. Outdoor activities available year round. Silos restaurant has great food breakfast, lunch or dinner. Staff were friendly and engaging. The ONLY thing we didn’t care for is the open shower concept with half a door. We felt too cold when showering. But we have stayed at Pier B several times and will continue to do so. Our favorite room is #318 if we could book that room every time we would.

Hell (7/5): - Best location in the city if attending Bentleyville. Get a room facing Bentleyville for unobstructed views. Window seats in the restaurant also provide great views of Bentleyville. Beds could use an upgrade. Had a King Suite. Nice room including access to balcony overlooking Bentleyville but time to replace the mattress.

James (4/5): - Restaurant had good selection, food well-prepared, with food service, & when told on phone rooms would be close & front desk informed us it was impossible with the types of rooms we received a semi sincere apology. Flimsy glasses & cups, no safe, so- called terraces are tiny & fit two metal chairs, nice views are blocked by giant, overcrowded hot tub, parking lot is a short walk & uncovered, etc.
James (3/5): Disappointment. - View had potential but over- crowded hottest partially blocks the views of the expensive rooms that have terraces - and THAT is a sad joke, too. Restaurant has quality servers & good menu selection & prepared the dishes well So many things. Terraces are tiny & impractical & with blocked views, no safes, chincy glasses & cups, all rooms allow pets but have carpet, u must pay for Internet beyond email speed, no water or continental breakfast for $400+, etc.

Johnson (6/5): - The adult swim time wasnt monitored so we basically got pushed out the hot tub by a bunch of high-school hockey players, the restaurant flat bread pizzas are not flat bread and the amount of honey is over kill.
Dubovich (1/5): - I was told that the pool was handicap Accessable. Well the machine that lifts handicap in water was nothing but rust and did not work. When I took the cover off of it I could’ve died. That’s the one reason we stayed there so she could swim. She is Quadreplegic and cried. I felt so bad. Why advertise when it’s obviously not used and broke!! Also we were told there was continental breakfast and no there was not. We had to call down for towels and wash cloths, bar soap for sink. Then I go in shower and the body wash was empty. No bedding for the pull out couch. Had to call again. Bathroom door was so hard to close that I showered with door open along with using the toilet. This room cost me over 460.00!!! Never again!!!!! Called down to desk and of course they can’t do nothing but say the manager will call back, wich I haven’t received a call yet. There’s about 50 of us coming down for Bentily vile and will not consider your place at all.

theresa (6/5): Mixed bag, staff and location were great but room did not meet comfort or quality expectations - Check-in was smooth, the location 5 star, a sauna company has saunas to rent on the river, and this was an extra perk worth the money For the price, the quality of the room was beneath expectations

Jennifer (8/5): - Was a really nice stay but a major drawback is that there was no guest laundry. IMO, if you are calling yourself a resort, a guest laundry is a must have as you expect guests to stay multiple days. The smores kits and fires were nice in the evenings, and they had some really nice amenities otherwise. They only have one restaurant, which was overpriced. $40+ for 2 breakfast sandwiches and some juice and coffee? For lunch and dinner, the menu was really limited. To be fair, there was a shuttle that would take you anywhere within 5 miles, and there were a lot of options in that radius. We found the room and beds to be very comfortable. Location was central and easy to find. Overall, I found this hotel to be a bit on the pricey side, but it was clean and comfortable.

Debra (10/5): We have been coming to Duluth for many years and this is the top hotel by far! Wonderful to have the lake walk from here - Amazing property! Loved the bonfire areas outside and the lake walk to canal park! Nice to see people in the lobby and sitting on the patios and decks! Large room in great condition! Friendly staff!
Bill (10/5): - Our stay was almost perfect. The facilities, amenities and location were outstanding. We were on the second floor and not there for a wedding, so we had loud music below us all three nights until 11:00PM. The people in the room next to us had a dog that would bark occasionally but that happens with pet friendly hotels. If you don't go to bed until 11:00PM it's a perfect hotel.

Wilson (9/5): Gorgeous views worth the price - some lacking basic amenities - View from hotel rooms is gorgeous. Amenities are nice and clean. Shower and bathroom and bed were all clean. 1) mini fridge was not very cold 2) free WiFi is terrible, need to pay $10 to upgrade to fast WiFi which should automatically be included for a resort.

Was wonderful to sit out there and watch the boats and see the lift bridge go up. The Silos was an excellent restaurant also. We will definitely be back. Beautiful grounds!

135endlessg (2/5): Terrible experience - I booked a room for over $500 per night for 4 nights. I always use expedia for the breakfast perks and for points. My air conditioning unit, sounded like a lawn mower the whole time. It was cool out so i did my best to sleep with it off. It went out on day 3, maintenance was very helpful. He noted how hot it was on here and that they didn't have another unit and the unit needed to be replaced. I spoke to the manager on duty, who informed me that they were sold out of my room type and they could only down grade me since i used expedia to book. This was also the reason why she told me i couldn't get any type of compensation. I was also told they don't know when my downgraded room will be ready. I'm up here for an event with my daughter in an hour that i have nowhere reasonable to get ready in. In addition to this, this morning i tried to use the outdoor jacuzzi and the number 7 was broken and i couldn't get into that and use it. On my first night, i had to ask 3 times and sat outside good almost 2 hours waiting for someone to light the fire on the deck. I also noticed and took pictires of how beat up my room was. This room cost me almost $500 per night and i was treated like a peasant food using expedia. I absolutely will not be coming back here. I always loved it here, and i will not return I may not even stay today.

waywickeddragonfly (2/5): Very Disappointed - My husband and I stayed at this resort in one of the rooms that overlooked the dock. Our experience staying at this resort was horrible. The Cedar and Stone Nordic Sauna next to the resort and near our room was a nightmare. The business played loud booming music for over 6 hours. We could not enjoy the deck as the music was so intrusive and the sauna guests were running about the deck making noise. We talked to the front desk and they said they don't own the business and did nothing about our complaint. Even when we shut the back door to our room, we could still hear the pounding music over the television. I responded to the hotel's survey after our stay with the complaint above and they didn't even bother to respond. I remember when we checked in the staff offered a free shuttle to go to places outside of the resort. My advise to any one looking to stay here, find a different place. This resort has very few amenities and you can't even walk the harbor without getting gated out. My husband and I were incredibly disappointed.
