La camera un po’ piccola ma comunque funzionale e dotata di tutto. Unterkunft ist sehr zentral im Backpacker-Viertel gelegen, trotzdem ist es im Zimmer angenehm ruhig. Die Einrichtung der Zimmer ist schon was älter, es ist trotzdem sehr sauber. Wir würden hier jederzeit wieder übernachten.

Anh and her husband are two of the kindest people I never met, they let me have a shower before I went to the airport in the afternoon when I had already checked-out. My room at the 4th floor was large and very clean, and it was very comfortable and cozy. I definitely come back one day
• Robin (8/5): Goed - Alles netjes en ruim. Ik had een klein balkon. Misschien wat dingen gedateerd maar dat is vrij gebruikelijk in HCM. Lekker hard bed. Heel fijn eettentje paar deuren verder. Het steegje is een echt “HCM” steegje dus veel massage aanbiedingen en meee.

She let us check in early when we arrived so we could get some sleep. She was so helpful with advice about where to visit etc. We didn’t mind but our room was up 3 flight of stairs so if you have mobility issues this maybe a problem

• Arvind (8/5): Great place to stay if you don't mind stairs - The best beds I have come across in my entire Vietnam trip. Clean room, clean bathrooms Good location You can get a room on any floor from 2nd to 4th and there is no lift. This is especially difficult with old people and also to take the bags all the way up. You cannot pick the floor while.booking and even though we added this as a special request while.booking, it could not be accommodated (for obvious reasons).The host allows you to leave your bags on the ground floor so suggest to pack such that some things can be left on the ground floor. It is absolutely safe.

Which makes sleeping in difficult. The stairs are not for the faint. It's a traditional building, so lots of stairs and no elevator. Not a problem if you're on a lower floor.

• Chris (9/5): 3 Nights - Solo Traveller - I stayed here for 3 nights. Thebroom was clean, quiet and comfortable. The AC was good. There was hit water in the shower. The owners were very nice and provided me with recommendations on local places to eat. The wifi was generally good but was briefly intermittant late at night. Note that the rooms are spread across 4 floor levels. Access will involve walking up several flights of stairs depending on what level your room is on

So wholesome and the perfect stay! - Loved the hosts, the location, the cleanliness, rooms, laundry etc. They went over and beyond to make us feel welcomed and give us a map and tour of the city. They even helped me collect packages while I was traveling so I could fly home with them. the warmth and love I felt visiting here kept us coming back! beds were a little hard

There are only two rooms on each floor so the only neighbors I had were above and below. My room was large, clean, comfortable and quiet with good AC and a large fridge. And it is located in an alley a good distance away from busy streets.

• Thom (9/5): Superb - Old school family-run guesthouse off a tiny alley in district 1. You walk straight into the owners' second living room. They look after you. Surprisingly peaceful given the location. Small thing - the shower hot water was from solar so in the morning it was lukewarm.

Maybe this is to a high-end hotel, but has everything you need for the stay. Just outside the door on the street, you can eat a delicious breakfast (find Hu Tieu Nam Vang) and have perfect coffee in Yên89. Highly recommendable!!

• Gioia (9/5): Perfect location and great owners, very recommended for few nights! - - Owners are super nice and friendly, ready to help and answer all the questions - Location absolutely great, very close to the main lively street (yet very quiet) and the bus stop (to go to the airport and tunnels) as well as the city center are within walking distance (10min and 20min respectively) - Room big and spacious - There is no elevator, so it might be difficult for people having walking difficulties - There was only one small hand soap, would have been great to also have some shower gel and/or shampoo in the bathroom

Room was minimal, (it's a guest house), with a small balcony, yet had everything for a comfortable stay. Great A/C accompanied by a ceiling fan. Owners are the best, as you will not find a nicer couple providing outstanding support for your time with them. I was warmly and enthusiasticly met, and then proceeded to be shown highlighted areas to visit along with an accompanied map. Nothing

Pointed us in the direction of what sights to see, and really helped us out with our sleeper bus booking when it all went wrong. 😅 The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, the nights were quiet even with being so close to the walking street. Would have stayed here longer if we had the time.

• Rhys (9/5): Thank you so much Anh and Anh for your wonderful hospitality. - Anh and his wife Anh are absolutely lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful. Anh sat us down on arrival and went through the city map with us (which was incredibly useful) and marked it with key locations we knew about but importantly told us the easiest walking route. He offered us some tour guides but even though we’d pre decided we were going to do the Cu Chi tunnels he insisted we go and shower and relax before committing to it and later he arranged it for us on request and the driver came to get us from the downstairs lounge. The laundry was cheap at 25k/kg and they didn’t rush us for payment - we had to insist on paying before the day we left as we didn’t want them to get up to meet us when we had an early start (they did anyway!) Honestly such lovely people, helpful without being intrusive, we would definitely recommend. Rooms are on a small alleyway off the main loud street of clubs but you can’t hear ANYTHING at all and this makes the place perfect, cheap cheap street food on the alleyway as well. Beds were a little firm and wet room was a bit basic but did the job.
• Mary (8/5): Great stay in alleyway guesthouse around corner from bus stop - Owner Diep is back and he and his wife have renovated and reopened Diep Anh Guest House. The tiny lobby is tucked behind secure doors in the alley just down from crazy busy Bui Vien Walking Street. Fifteen years in business, very clean guesthouse rooms are minimally furnished but everything works. Stairs up a big mahogany staircase to three floors of big rooms, Third floor room quiet. Lovely hosts who share stories.
• Marzena (9/5): Great value on all fronts - The hosts were true gems, welcoming and accommodating and couldn't do enough for us, I.e. laundry, access to hot water, coffee, tea. The guesthouse is tucked in in a friendly and convenient laneway, which comes alive early in the morning for inexpensive eats and excellent coffee. Excellent location to restore, bars, nightlife, airport bus.

We arrived later than expected in the early hours of the morning after a long journey. They said, no worry to checking now, leave it until after you have slept. A great location just off the crazy fun of Walking Street but so quiet in the accommodation. Having to leave after only three nights 😢

• Jihan (10/5): Bang for your buck - I absolutely loved staying at Anh's guest house. We got in really late at night and had no problems finding the place and checking in. Anh and his wife are the sweetest people in town. They gave us advice on what to do in the city as well as had maps printed out for us. The hotel is right in the center of District 1 and almost everything is walkable. The rooms are clean and simple which is nice to come to after a long day. We only stayed for two night but Anh assisted us with finding a bus to our next adventure. My friend and I also had a extra day in Vietnma before we were heading home and they had no problem storing our luggage for us while we enjoyed the city for the day. Honestly they went above and beyond to make our trip memorable and fun. Thank you again for having us and we cant wait to come back. XX
• Diana (10/5): Great time, wonderful hospitality - Great location for our trip purpose as it was right around the corner from the bus stop that took us to Cambodia and lots of tour places around. There’s also the market close by too. The owners were a very sweet elder couple who showed us some places to eat and places to go for our short stop over. Rooms were a little small but we were only in the rooms to sleep and went knowing it wasn’t a 5star resort style suite room. I think their hospitality made up for it. The guesthouse is in an ally way so it was a bit hard to find but taxis know their way and it wasn’t a problem. (But had I been driving like I do in the states, it would have taken me several rounds before finally finding it). We travelled in a big group and had 3 double rooms which were on 3 different floors With no elevator(luckily we travelled light). place was quite except for our kids running up and down looking for each other (apologies to the other guests who stayed the same night as us- we take full responsibility for the noisy children at 7 in the morning) The owners took the time and showed us the ropes of the room, which buttons do what and so forth. Overall it was a pleasant experience we had there and recommend this place and would def go back if I have the chance to explore hcm more.

• john (10/5): A lovely hotel with a great location - We cannot speak highly enough about Diep Anh Guest House. The owners are the loveliest people. They really looked after us and it was a really nice welcome when we came back every night. Our bedroom was large and well maintained with a balcony overlooking the alley below which has many food places. The area was vibrant but not at all noisy at night. The owners booked all of our day trips and the price they quoted was the price. The husband was full of local knowledge and suggested things to do and see. We were sad to leave. Great places to eat and walk. The park near by was great at night. All the locals walking and exercising was a great place to sit and watch. Ten out of ten.
