• Tracy (6/5): Good location, shame about the busy road. - The location is great for getting into Byron Bay and the beaches. It is also close to shops, restaurants, a pub and a great bakery. The wellness Centre is very nice and looks out on the the nature reserve which is beautiful. The host Kelly also did his best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The Bungalow is close to a very busy road which isn't ideal for a peaceful break. Don't expect the Spa to be warm, it is a magnesium pool at 31 degrees. The two bedrooms are up stairs with no bathroom, the only bathroom is located downstairs.
• Brad (9/5): Excellent pet friendly sanctuary - Great location just outside of Byron, with great restaurants and facilities across the road and the beach a 10 min walk away. The house was spacious and had a great vibe. The spa and sauna are excellent value adds. It's on a busy road, but the house is at the back of the block, so it's a bit noisy during the day but really quiet at night.
• Damian (9/5): We will be back! - Location, solitude, hot tub, sauna. Beds could use an upgrade, as well as the paper thin, scratchy, sheets. Comforters had stale odour.

• Maria (7/5): Beautiful pad in nature - Great place within nature, bonfire space, outdoor bathtub, kitchen facilities and comfortable beds. Good sound proofing from outside. Hot tub was an absolute treat and nice surprise! Good location, walk away from nearby bakery and shops and restaurants and 10-15 min walk to the beach. Otherwise, a short drive to the main town. The extra bedroom has a large gap above the door (open space and not sealed with a wall) - meaning you can hear everything outside of the room which disrupted sleep. We didn't realise this until arriving. The rest of the house is also creaky and loud when walking (you can hear the steps from downstairs/upstairs if you are a group) so it felt like a lack of privacy and space from others. This bothered us as we all like a quiet space and felt bad waking each other up going up/down the stairs and watching movies when other people were sleeping. The walls are thin and you can hear everything, and feel vibrations of the floors at times. However, as a family, i'm sure this wouldn't matter.

The Magic outdoor bath under the Star - What a Magical Magical energy Buddha’s Bungalow is. 🧘🏼‍♀️Loved our stay in every way. We loved Everything from the outdoor bath under the Stars to the fire 🔥 pit. We had a wonderful BBQ on the Balcony. The beds were incredibly comfortable. Everything was great. Can’t wait to stay again. Such a Magical Experience. 🙏🏻🪷💫 Nothing. Loved everything

• Cathy (6/5): Pleasant - The location was good. The place was dirty and the floors were not cleaned. The host was not welcoming and complained about sand on the wood floor at the entrance which is quite normal when you swim at the beach. There was no vacuum cleaner provided in the home. The balcony door doesn't lock so we didn't feel safe.
• Kirsty (6/5): We had a good time but I was a bit disappointed sorry as the potential is definitely there for it to be great. - Lovely setting, surrounded by beauty nature. Loved the outdoor bath. No fire alarms which I think is illegal, door didn’t lock so we couldn’t lock the house at all. I was glad we took our dog but had to store valuables in the car. There was old dog poo in the garden too.

• Cheryl (10/5): Relaxing, comfy & cosy. - The character and location of the bungalow, and the friendly helpful response from Kelly 👍 Lacking a few key utensils in the kitchen, such as spatulas and tongs, otherwise the kitchen was very well equipped .
• Bianca (6/5): Pleasant - Beautiful property and great location Floors were not clean especially under the beds and corners. Ceilings had spider webs on them. Didn’t have enough towels, wifi only worked half the time, and was only given 2 rolls of toilet paper. No beach towels, no body wash, no shampoo.

Basic essentials weren’t supplied to start our stay- dish cloths, dishwasher powder, soap, no info about the property or local area, or emergency contacts

• Benjamin (2/5): Terribly overpriced and unkept taking advantage of the popularity of Byron. - Close to the beach. The house has lots of potential but it was not clean. The bed linen was dirty and mould on the walls of the bedrooms make it unsafe for small children or asthmatics. A friend was hospitalised because of the mould.

• Kayvan (8/5): I hesitate to say the place is comfortable for more than 2 to 3 people. - The host was a nice guy, the house is beautiful and the interior design, statutes, and wall painting were fantastic. Very Buddhist environment, felt like living in a temple! No Breakky, location is almost 5 Km from the town, nice place to stay, 1 toilet and bathroom is not enough for 5 people. Toilet paper was not provided the first night, and the house was a bit squeaky and noisy when walking on the first floor, movement was felt on the second floor. Mattresses were softer than what we usually use, although we are exceptionally in love with firmer mattresses.

• Michael (3/5): Overpriced Dirty Poorly Kept and noisy - Nothing. The most over rated and over priced accommodation I have ever stayed in. Properly annoyed. I emailed the owners with no response. Lights in lamp needed to be replaced Towels still I'm dryer when I got here Dust on all pictures / windows / corners. Lights don't work in the bathroom Fan dosen't work in main bedroom Not private as described at all. People coming and going from driveway. Tradesmen and people living out of a van. One guy was walking around on the phone. On a main road and not tranquil as described. The place is very noisy from the road traffic. Even shutting all the doors it's still very noticeable. Outside lights don't work BBQ dirty and rusty Bath full of bird crap and leaves and sticks The place is just not clean and not a good vibe. No fly screens to allow fresh air in without mossies and bugs coming inside. Door to 2nd bedroom doesn't shut. The lug broken. Happy to provide photos. The place was nothing like it was described. Run down, dirty and dusty. Take your money elsewhere.

• Patricia (7/5): We enjoyed our stay but not what I thought I was paying for. - Roomy living area. Lovely verandah to have morning coffee and BBQ on. The place is run down and not in the same condition as the pictures provided on booking.com Furniture is very worn as well.
