• Michel (9/5): Séjour rendu agréable grâce a la gentillesses du patron du lieu - L’accueil chaleureux du maître des lieux, la vue et la proximité avec la gare centrale Les escaliers difficiles à monter et à descendre avec des bagages encombrants pour accéder aux chambres aux 1er et 2eme étages mais c’est typique aux maisons hollandaises.

• KONSTANTINOS (10/5): Excellent stay. - That was exactly what I needed. A convenient room, close to the train station, at an affordable price. The mattress is superb, and I had a perfect night's sleep. The room was clean, with a nice view of a small canal. There was a kettle and all the essentials for instant coffee or tea. Great value for money, I highly recommend it.

Kamer is erg schoon, bed is prima 😊 Ligging is goed, vlakbij CS Rotterdam. alleen wat jammer is de verwarming doet het het in de koude kamer en het was iin de ochtend motor van een machine staat aan en maakt een lawaai. Maar voor een nachtje was goed!

La chambre était propre et les lits confortables. La chambre donnait sur une cour jardin dans laquelle on a pu profiter avec les enfants. La chambre n'est pas insonorisée.

• Valentine (8/5): - L'emplacement est parfait, à 2 pas de la gare, dans une rue donnant sur un canal assez calme. Le propriétaire est très gentil. Nous avons pu faire notre check-in tôt et lui laisser nos bagages, qu'il a lui-même monté ensuite dans notre chambre une fois prête. La chambre est basique: 4 lits simples, 1 table, 3 chaises, une petite salle de douche avec toilettes. Conforme à la description faite. Le fait que les 2 chambres sur le même palier que nous se partagent un toilette et une douche engendre plus de va-et-vient et donc de bruit le soir et le matin (on est proche de la gare donc certains partent très tôt). Mais globalement, nos voisins ont été plutôt respectueux.

• VULLNET (1/5): MY WORST experience ever!!! - Nothing comparing the negative ones. I can't mention something that could be positive for this place. I would have preferred to sleep outside on the bench. The room was freezing and there was not any heating on the room at all. We ended up to trying sleep with a jacket. Because of this I stayed awake the whole night and I literally regret to choose this place. Additionally, the pillow was so bad and so strong that caused me and neck pain. Also, No water on the room. The place was very noisy and I could here everything from the other rooms. Overall, my worst experience ever in a "accommodation". Please don't waste your money, and most important don't destroy your health in this place. It should have been seen from the authorities and BANNED from the room services. I hope no one experience this again.

I am very grateful for this, as I hadn’t noticed this in the app description. In my opinion, this is a very professional approach. * The floor in the room didn’t seem to have been vacuumed. The host himself asked whether we liked everything, and we told him that the floor was dirty. He asked if he could come in to check, and we said yes. But when we returned in the evening, nothing had changed. * Also, there is no shower gel (only scented hand soap)

Cette information n’était pas suffisamment claire lors de la réservation. Merci de bien vouloir faire attention à ce point et de préciser clairement qu’il faut choisir une chambre avec toilettes et douche privées lors de la réservation.

Als ik één minpuntje niet geven, is dat het water van de douche in onze kamer niet warm was. Het was tussen koud en lauw. Ook oppassen voor de heel steile trap.

• Isabelle (8/5): Je reviendrai ! - La gentillesse du propriétaire. La proximité de la gare centrale. Le quartier agréable. Le chauffage ! Le lit très étroit et l'exiguïté de la chambre, mais compte tenu du prix, il était difficile d'espérer mieux.

• Rob (6/5): Alleen in een eenpersoonskamer, maar de ventilatie liet geen moment van stilte toe. - Het is mogelijk om laat te arriveren en via instructies de sleutel te verkrijgen. Dat is erg prettig, vooral bij een last-minute boeking. De ligging van het hotel is dan ook ideaal dichtbij het station. Wat mijn nacht helaas koortsachtig maakte, was het zware ventilatiesysteem dat naast kamer 1, een eenpersoonskamer, is gesitueerd. Met een onophoudelijk loeien dat de kamer overheerste, kon ik in ieder geval de suggestieve Boeddha aan de muur niet “interveniëren” om wat zen te ontvangen. Ik lach er nu wel om, maar de iets gevoelige slaper die alleen reist en een eenpersoonsbed boekt, kan wellicht beter deze kamer ontwijken, of een ander hotel boeken.

The lack of a 7/24 reception was a bit unsettling but they did give me a key to enter. I also found the stairs a bit difficult as I'm rather old and my legs and balance are not as good as they once were.
