- Tatiana (8/5): - El dormitorio a pesar de ser mixto y compartido, la verdad no me desagradó. Me gustó que teníamos la cocina a disposición para prepararnos cosas y la parte del living, el patio y el balcón me gustó muchísimo. La ubicación también estaba súper accesible a la playa. Hay que arreglar unos pequeños detalles, pero a pesar de eso me gustó el alojamiento. El personal no me pareció muy agradable y el baño femenino siempre estaba sucio, el inodoro tenía problema, siempre se tapaba.

Even though it's low season (and some rooms are not in use, staff is never there, you organise everything via whatsapp) the stay was very pleasant, daily cleaning of all facilities, heater switched on in the evening, which I appreciated. Nice area with tables and chairs by the pool. Good fully furnished kitchen. Great bakery Cresta nearby with 15% discount (plus IVA discount for foreigners) Because there is no staff, some customers (didn't find the keys in the locker, or didn't know how to enter) kept ringing the doorbell, which can put guests in an awkward situation..
- Bárbara (10/5): Local bom - A localização é ótima! As instalações são bem boas também. Não tem pessoal na recepção 24h, isso fez com que eu me sentisse menos segura. Tipo, se tivesse qualquer problema não teria ninguém lá para resolver. Eles trancam a porta da varanda e da sala comum também quando a funcionária vai embora, não gostei muito desse sentimento de “ficar trancada”, apesar que a gente conseguia entrar e sair dando a volta e com o cartão que era a chave. O banheiro também me deu uma impressão de parecer um vestiário, porque a ducha é uma do lado da outra e tem uma “meia parede” que separa, tipo não é nem uma parede fechada, parece mesmo um vestiário. Com um banquinho de madeira para colocar a roupa. As luzes são TODAS com sensor de movimento, por mais que isso seja bom pq economiza né em alguns momentos fiquei com a impressão que estava muito escuro (as vzs o sensor trava né)

When I informed them why I immediately checked out again, they claimed no one ever complained… well check the other comments … I did not at first. Send them screenshots and they offered me a reduced price if I extended my stay. I was honestly shocked about that much ignorance. Do not book with them!

- Audrey (7/5): Bien trop cher pour ce que c’est - La localisation (10min de la gare routière), près de la rue principale avec les commerces Ustensiles de cuisine en bon état contrairement à beaucoup d’hostels Propreté Jolie petite piscine (même si je n’ai pas pu en profiter car il fait trop froid en cette saison) Cher Paiement très compliqué (via WhatsApp) et avec 6% de commission obligatoire si vous voulez que cela reste relativement simple :( Musique (rock 🫣) toute la journée jusque tard le soir (est ce qu’elle est éteinte la nuit je ne sais même pas) Cuisine : pas d’espace de stockage pour la nourriture des guests (seulement pour le “staff” invisible) Auberge vide de staff : accueil seulement à l’arrivée par une personne puis personne présent pour donner des renseignements ou quoi que ce soit 7USD la location de serviette (on en achète une à ce prix là) ! pour une auberge qui est déjà le double du prix du reste du pays, je trouve cela plus qu’excessif Rideaux trop petits pour les fenêtres du dortoir donc c’est comme s’il n’y en avait pas

- Enrique (9/5): Gran hostal en el centro de Punt del Este - Muy cerca de todo lo que necesites en Punta del Este. Las instalaciones son bonitas y el ambiente es tranquilo. Es muy bonito y cómodo en relación a calidad y precio. Si necesitas algo como una toalla, debes asegurarte de pedirla con anticipación, ya que el staff no siempre está en el hostal y puedes no encontrar lo que necesitas.

Não há recepção, mesmo sendo em região nobre se torna um pouco estranho e inseguro para um hostel, mais parece um Airbnb compartilhado, com portas do quarto sem tranca. Havia um pouco de poeira e teias de aranha nas camas, incomodou um pouco. Divisória entre chuveiros só de meio corpo, não há privacidade no banho.

- Alfredo (7/5): La mejor ubicación - La ubicación es perfecta! Increible! Los baños podrían ser mejores. Prácticamente solo hay 1 baño de hombres porque el otro no cierra, y el agua a veces no se va, entonces parece que está tapado la mayor parte del tiempo. Las duchas son demasiado pequeñas, no hay dónde poner el jabón y las puertas son transparentes. Yyyy creo que el personal podría ser un poco más amable.
- Tatiana (6/5): - Bathroom, kitchen and pool were clean, location is very good, centric. Rooms and pillows smelled like humidity, strongly (although sheets seemed clean). AC was right over a couple of beds so we couldn't turn it on as the girls on those beds rightfully complained. Pool is not heated so no one used it while I was there, shame. I recommend towels are included in the booking. I'd also add additional hooks and/or shelf's in beds and bathroom for more comfort and full length mirror. Bike rentals are not cheap.

- Andy (10/5): Très bon hostel ! - Je ne suis resté qu'une nuit mais j'ai bien aimé les espaces communs autour de la piscine. Les dortoir étaient propre et il y a un rideau à chaque lit. Personnel sympa et bien placé près de la station de bus et du centre ! Un peu peur au début car le paiement s'effectue par carte bleu avec commission via un lien whatsapp. Mais au final j'ai pu payer en espèce (USD ou uyu) à l'arrivée =)

- Moisés (4/5): - Tiene una buena ubicación, creo es lo único bueno. La habitación de 8 camas mixta tenía mal olor, fui en marzo y era el único que se quedó ahí. El cubre cama tenia mal olor y la cama demasiado pequeña. Desperté lleno de picaduras a pesar de mantener puertas y ventanas cerradas.

- Jose Alejandro (5/5): Tiene potencial - La casa esta bien, el patio con la piscina es bonito, la ubicación esta bien, la cocina estaba bien. Las personas que trabajan ahí muy amables, muy cerca de las playas y la terminal de buses te puedes ir caminando. Me quede en la habitación compartida y olia mucho a humedad y muy oscura. Sobre los baños compartidos en el de hombres solo había uno en funcionamiento y la puerta no cerraba bien lo cual era incomodo y las duchas muy estrechas y un poco transparentes lo que para mi fueron las cosas menos cómodas de la casa.

- DANIELA_BARBOZA (9/5): Buenísima estadía - Tiene ubicación privilegiada. Las instalaciones están bárbaras, cuartos cómodos, buenos baños, cocina bien equipada y a gusto para usarla. Que no se respete y no se exija silencio en el patio luego de las 22hs, siendo que los cuartos dan al patio y hay huéspedes que no "saben" respetar el descanso de los demás. Quizás en temporada alta los baños debería repasarse al menos 2 veces al dia para no acumular tanto.

Agradable piscina y espacio para tomar sol. Cercano a todo y personal muy amable Quizas El desayuno termina muy temprano y los casilleros al ser de metal eran muy ruidosos.

- Julieta (10/5): Muy buen lugar para quedarse - La limpieza, la tranquilidad, el trato de las personas que trabajan El tema del link de pago. Si sos uruguayo podés hacer transferencia, pero si no lo sos (como yo), tenés las siguientes opciones (muy malas) que no te avisan de antemano: si pagas con un QR de mercado pago, dice comisión cero pero hace una conversión a un dólar a $1682 en vez de $1460 (dic 2025). Si pagas online con tarjeta Visa o Master tiene una comisión de un 6.49%, transferencia bancaria en argentina (usd) 2% de comisión. Esa info debería estar clara antes de hacer la reserva (que no tiene cancelación gratuita). Si no fuera por esto, le pondria un 10 sin dudas
