- Verified traveler (10/5): Great Destination - The Resort was beautiful, a nice place to come for Christmas 🎄 time. The decorations were beautiful. The service was excellent. I'd also like to add the rooms we're impeccable! Smelled very clean. I'd recommend going to the restaurant inside the resort. The food was amazing and service was spot on and very friendly. Definitely recommend adding this resort to your list.
- Allison (8/5): - Beautiful view of the golf course
- John (6/5): - Great service from Hannah at the Tavern.
- Charlotte (10/5): - The property was well maintained and beautifully decorated for fall. It made for a beautiful backdrop to the wedding we attended during our stay.
- Allison (10/5): - It’s gorgeous here. Our room has a balcony that over looked the golf course, the tub was incredible and the robes were so comfy you want to steal them but didn’t
- Erica (10/5): - We arrived VERY late to this property. Zero issues checking in. Spacious room. There was some construction noise Friday morning around 8, but otherwise could not recommend enough.
- LINDA (10/5): - Spacious room and very nice restaurant
- Ashley (8/5): - Great
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The grounds are gorgeous, could use a little updating. The mattresses are to stiff. Shower head needs to be replaced. There was a buzzing noise not sure im not sure if it was the fridge or a fan from another room.Other than that it was nice.
- Zachary (6/5): - Good beds and is white area. Probably only recommend if you plan on using the golf courses or having a special event. For a place to stay, probably not an appealing hotel. No breakfast.
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Staff was amazing
Wonderful quiet location with absolutely gorgeous grounds
- Brian (8/5): - Jenna(I think) after working late before, was very helpful and accommodating. Others were great too.
- Suzanne (10/5): Beauty, Comfort, and Convenience - Our stay at Atkinson Resort and Country Club was really nice. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Our room was also very spacious and very convenient because there was a restaurant and bar downstairs. Even though we don't play golf, the scenery at this golf course was amazing, which added to the luxury of this resort. The resort is in the middle of the beautiful New Hampshire countryside. After a day of sightseeing, it was great to return to such a place!
- Rebecca (10/5): - Room and common areas were very clean. Room very spacious.
- Stephanie (10/5): - Beautiful property
- casey (6/5): - This is a beautiful property. We were there for just an overnight stay. The gentlemen at check-in was great. The room was very nice and comfortable. We had lunch on sight at The Tavern...food and service were very good.
Our issue was when we returned to the hotel, after attending a wedding a short distance away, it was 1045 pm and all of the doors were locked. We understand that for apparent security concerns the doors are secured, the problem was that either the buzzer you use to get someones attention to allow you in either did not work or there was no one at the desk to hear it (we never got a definitive answer). So after around 15 mniutes of banging on the front door -while calling the hotel - a women answered the phone . She seemed annoyed, never apologized, and just hung up the phone. After several more minutes of banging on the door a female staff member appeared and let us in. We questioned , now the 2 women at the front desk as to how this could happen. There was no apology for this ridiculous inconvenience but instead they said "sometimes the buzzer doesn’t work...plus we probably couldnt hear you because someone was vacuuming". Unfortunately, the staff ,as well as the manager the next day, did not seem to really care. So-- we will not be returning to this otherwise beautiful setting.

- JAMES B (8/5): Last minute overnight stay - Great overall stay, myself & wife, I had early morning business which led us to stay in the area the night before my meeting, we did have dinner & drinks, nice restaurant, good food, clean room, mattress was old & very uncomfortable but overall nice place.
- Michele (10/5): - We had a great time and will definitely go back
- Kathleen (10/5): - Golf options were great. Nice view of the golf course from our room.
- Philip (6/5): Not what it used to be. - The refrigerator in the room never stopped cycling. The compressor came on every 25 minutes. The Winslow tavern morning crew focuses on the previous nights tips than their morning service responsibilities. This establishment is quickly losing it appeal.
- Jenn (10/5): - It was great so far.
- Heather (8/5): - The grounds here are beautiful. Check in was easy. Room was more outdated than expected but did the trick. Not sure if they had vacuumed. There were plastic tags on carpet from prior guest as well as sequins (like from a dress) on bathroom floor.
- David (4/5): - The resort itself is very nice and in a nice location. The Stagecoach Tavern is an excellent Dining Location. But we were unable to stay there overnight as there was a Class Reunion Night that made staying there impossible. We left the resort shortly after the music started and there was no other room available. Website could have indicated this event, and we would have made reservations at another location. We will not return to this location based on the experience we had. Unless you want to go to the Tavern and stay until 1:00 am, you will not be able to sleep until the music stops.
- Jeff (6/5): - For the price you pay, the amenities in the room are very tired and in need of updating. The bar/restaurant closes far too early. They need an after hours key slot outside so you aren't buzzing them and waiting for them to answer. The buzzer wasn't even working so I had to call the front desk from outside to be let in at 10 pm. Again, for the price you pay, this is pretty poor. Beautiful location though and comfortable/clean.
- Md (10/5): - Awesome place to spend time with family.
- Jessa (8/5): - Really nice room with lots of amenities. Front desk staff was super friendly. Easy check in/out.
- David (6/5): - Very nice setting. Needs a little update. Food not the best!
- Alison (4/5): - We were very disappointed to find that having booked this hotel specifically to play golf, the hotel and club had no clubs for rental and so we were unable to play. The golf pro in the shop was extremely unhelpful, bordering on rude and front desk staff seemed confused and were unable to help. Having travelled half way across the world for this it was a huge disappointment and would suggest this 8s made clearer in the advertising and booking as it is very misleading.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The view from our room was outstanding.
- Gary (10/5): Lovely stay - Everyone at the Atkinson Country Club was pleasant, helpful, and accommodating. The restaurants had delicious food, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the personnel fabulous.
- Debbie (10/5): - Absolutely beautiful surroundings. Views of the golf course from the restaurant patio dining is spectacular. Planning to come back in the autumn for the gorgeous foliage 🍁😍
- Beth (10/5): Great little hideaway - This place was AMAZING I wanted a little night away with my boyfriend. The staff were courtesy, friendly and just great. We ate at the restaurant which wad AMAZING
- Christine (10/5): Great Stay! - I highly recommend Atkinson Country Club for your stay. The room was spacious and clean. The pub was great and the views of the golf course were beautiful. Highly recommend*****
