Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Wonderful attention to detail-such as laundry detergent for the washing machine, welcoming gifts in fridge-chocolate and breakfast oatmeal. We took a 3 week trip-this was the best accommodation! Our only regret is not meeting the proprietor. Thanks for the great stay.
- Tyler (10/5): Beautiful suites close to everything - I was expecting more of a hotel suite feel however I arrived and it was more of having my own apartment away from home. They even had cold craft beer in the fridge for us
- Lynda (10/5): Great stay - Great place to stay. Very comfortable and the owner was very accommodating.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent stay - Very accommodating with an early check-in and late check-out. The unit was clean and updated. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
- Janice Doherty (10/5): Top notch accommodations! Detail sets them apart. - After putting 8K miles on our Jeep, this was a breath of fresh air! We highly recommend this modern, clean, comfortable and quiet location. We were able to do our laundry in the room, which was so nice. They provided comfy bedding, clean, fresh towels and even stocked the fridge with snack and drinks! This is a family-owned business and we were fortunate to be greeted by Jim and had a nice send-off from Nona. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever back in Prince Rupert. :)
- Nancy (10/5): Home Away From Home - Great place to stay. Modern. Comfortable. Excellent commodities. Close to everything. Excellent WiFi. Quiet. Washer and dryer. Very nice personnel. Just wonderful. Will definitely stay here if I have to go back. Thank you!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Executive Treatment - A great place for single night or long term stay. We've stayed twice now-summer and winter. Good quick heating. Parking on street. Not sure they have any rooms with a landline so bring your own phone. 24/7 service. Dishwasher and keurig coffee maker are a nice touch. A unique selection of freebies in the fridge( craft beer, oatmeal, juice, milk, yogurt, a chocolate). Decent enough bed.
- Mike & Jane (10/5): - Relaxing. Quiet. Cute little suite with all amenities. Breakfast included which was a nice bonus.
- JT (10/5): Great location near downtown
- Facility is first rate with modern features. Obviously well maintained with friendly staff.
- armelle (10/5): Host gave us a room upgrade, appreciated! - Would stay here again. The restaurant/pub across the street had great food and atmosphere. Nice view too.
- Jennifer (10/5): Contemporary stylish accommodation - I agree with all previous reviewers who rated this property excellent. James and Nona are lovely and really deliver good old-fashioned hospitality rarely experienced these days. We intend to return next season for a longer stay than the three-nighter this time.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - So much better than a hotel for a 6 night stay.
An apartment with daily maid service.
- Rick (10/5): perfect loft - The entire stay was great!! All the amenities from home were right at our fingertips, from keurig coffee too a local beer. It was a treat to have! The loft was a unique place to stay, it was like hiding in our own fort. It was sparkling clean and so quiet, it was hard to believe you were downtown. The staff went out of their way to make sure everything was just right. Our cleaning lady was exceptional, we enjoyed joking around with her in our stay. Definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to get away.
- Cheryl (10/5): Great little room with fantastic service!! - We arrived late, but found a nice welcoming letter with access information. I texted James to let him know we'd arrived and asked him to charge our card since it was so late. He was very accommodating. The room was very clean and comfortable, and since we had to be a the ferry terminal at 5:30am the next morning, we went right to bed. The next morning, I was horrified to find I'd left our cooler and food in the fridge. There wasn't much, but we were already in line for the ferry, so no way to go back. I texted James to see if he could make use of the items, but instead, be personally drove down to deliver it to me at the Ferry. I also found a nice local beer inside as a bonus. SO impressed - they really went above and beyond so this was a fantastic place to stay and I highly recommend them!
- Shelby (10/5): So Incredibly Impressed! - Very accommodating, staff is very friendly, and the hotel was so beautiful and clean. Loved our view! Just booked another trip to Prince Rupert to specifically stay there. Can't wait to visit again.
- Shelby (10/5): Amazing hotel by the ocean and close to downtown! - This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at in Northern BC. All of BC for that matter! Because there are so few rooms, the staff really tend to every need. When I needed an extra mattress to accommodate a friend, it was promptly brought to my room with bedding at no extra charge. They really went the extra mile to make our stay extra special. Wishing this hotel wasn't only in Prince Rupert! Do not pass it by, you will not regret your stay here! So happy with our choice.
- David (10/5): Best Room of the Entire Trip - We drove from Arizona and this was the best hotel experience we had, by far. The room, the manager and housekeeping could not have been better.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Good stay - Good stay. Thanks James. Would definitely come again for our next trip to Prince Rupert.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Everything needed was available.
Warm and friendly was my stay I will defiantly stay again.
- Sj (10/5): A gem in Prince Rupert - For those who expect high standards of quality and service First Avenue Executive Suites delivers beyond the call of duty. Well thought out suites that make for a pleasant and superb stay.
