- Marc (10/5): -
- Kelly (10/5): It was a great stay - My room was very quiet, I was there for work Need laundry facilities for guests
- Patil (1/5): - Basically they canceled my booking, and I sent more money to find another motel to stay.
- Samuel (9/5): It was a good experience - It was quiet and I liked the no smoking policy inside the property I wish the room had a wardrobe but I can’t complain that much considering the price of the room
- Mackay (5/5): - The location was OK with restaurants in vicinity..the people were pleasant . Rooms were never cleaned entire stay ...nothing done , I asked for and recieved towels one time. Got locked from my room ...had a 25 minit wait for staff to open my room. Seemed to be a lot of residents at location. People were nice ,service was poor.. no television available for duration of stay.. and very little parking... I parked on street, that was OK. No stars here.
- Atlan (1/5): -
- Shannon (1/5): NEVER STAYED HAD TO BOOK ANOTHER HOTEL, THIS WAS GROSS PLACE - nothing to like about this place the location looked like hooker street, the individual that came to wait on me was drunk and smelled of pot!
- Spysznyk (6/5): -
- Ricky Idaho (1/5): I was bitten by bedbugs. I found a living bedbug in my bed. - I was bitten by bed bugs during my stay. I cut my stay short and booked at a different hotel, after which I was not bitten by bedbugs
- Michael (7/5): Everything was comfortable enough for my short stay in town. - Room and bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Understanding the building is somewhat older, it may be time to invest in updating the rooms, windows and coverings.
- Spysznyk (8/5): -
- Shane (10/5): -
- sukhjit (6/5): - Older motel, could use some updating.
- Nghia (10/5): - It was cheap and the room was big! Very clean. It had all the things I need in a kitchenette. I would definitely stay there again!
- Randy (10/5): - This hotel is old school. Physical key for the room, little keybox to put your key into for checkout, old curtains, old school headboard, retro paint colours, I'm pretty sure my grandma has the same lamp in her guest room back in 1996, and I loved it. This ain't a 5 star hotel, but a cozy little bed with some extra comforts. Useable kitchen to cut down on ordering fast food, apartment sized fridge, couple chairs and a table, it's simple. It's definitely suited to a person(s) with simple expectations, no more no less. It's a quiet space too, I don't think I heard one person talking in the hallways, no stomping around, nothing. Very easy to relax at the end of the day. Internet speeds are decent too for doing any online work. I did notice that some tiles were coming up in my room, but a simple re-grout would fix that issue, and it's be perfect. Overall though, I was happy with my stay, management was friendly, check-in was a little bit of a wait, but the manager was probably busy dealing with something else. I'd stay here again on a solo trip.
- Dhillon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Girdler (9/5): Excellent - It was excellent Nothing
- Denis (10/5): - Richard was excellent!!
- Trevor (10/5): - The hotel staff are great especially Ritchard
- 138shanc (10/5): Fantastic - "I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The manager/frontdesk guy was incredibly friendly and helpful and handsome. The room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities were fantastic. The location was perfect, with easy access to local attractions and dining options. I can't wait to return for another stay at this wonderful hotel!"
- Harkirat (1/5): not so good i feel unsafe there - the front desk is good guy ready to help if you have any problem the environment is not good we got 302 room and next to us 301 room two persons are living i believe they are couple and around 8-9 they start playing music and talk loud and at midnight they start fighting so its really a bad environment and not safe place to live .
- Jason (9/5): Great place - Place is great as always
- Paul (7/5): Good -
- Ervin (10/5): - I loved my stay here ..it’s affordable and clean.. good customer service too ..thanks to the receptionist richard is the best…
- Hovila (6/5): You get a passable level of accommodations for half the price of a mainbrand hotel. -
- Karl (5/5): Was okay, would not book again, - Hotel was very quiet (but wasn't empty either). Bed was comfortable and clean. Room was very dated. Overall the room was clean, but the hallways were not.
- Herbert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gadwa (6/5): Pleasant -
- David (8/5): - Our room was fairly clean, but old and well used. There were electrical and TV connections hanging out of holes in the wall, The TV needed 2 remotes to use, and was extremely inconvenient. The Air Conditioner worked well, bathroom was clean, we needed more towels. Fair value for the cost.
- Kierra (8/5): Very good -
- Herbert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eric (10/5): - It was a nice place to stay and the price was good, ill definitely be staying here again
- brylee (8/5): - This is a decent, affordable hotel in Bonnyville. I like that they have kitchenettes, makes it easier to not just eat fast food all the time. I think most of the people there are permanent residents but it's quiet and everyone was nice. Not a lot of parking, a bit old and run down, could be better cleaned but all in all I was happy, especially for the price.
- Gerry (6/5): Pleasant - staff was great, beds were comfortable shower was good dirty, dead bugs on bed and towels
- Chukwudi (5/5): Passable -
- Kimberly (6/5): - Easy to find, the staff was really friendly. The room was stocked with simple kitchen items with a full sized fridge. The building is old abd coule use some upkeep.
- Muhamet (10/5): Exceptional -
- Summaiya (5/5): Passable -
- Daniel (7/5): Good -
- Santhosh (2/5): Very poor -
- Samantha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pamela (8/5): Very good - The room was clean and it was more than I expected for the price. The stairs are a draw back, however not a deterrent
- Oscar (4/5): - Staff were nice, The building is old and outdated, the room was okay.
- Rachel (6/5): Pleasant - Room was comfortable, quiet, and we had a good sleep.
Fridges in the kitchenette were big and provided enough room for everything you'd need Greeting was far from friendly
Was advised they lock the doors at a certain time to keep 'the street people out'. Not very comforting leaving your vehicle street parked after hearing that.
Overall lacking maintenance and upkeep
- Stacey (9/5): Superb -
- Herbert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Henry (4/5): - Old, smelly. Towels were like sand paper and only 1 towel in our room
- tracycR7629HM (2/5): Bed bugs. Beware!! - Beware!!! Bed bugs!!! They didn’t even give me a free night. I was totally bitten up by bed bugs on the first night I stayed. All they did was put me on a different floor. I was in for work. No discount was given. Don’t stay here
- Bounsall (4/5): It was a place to lay my head. It was a cheap room and it was mostly what I expected. - There was no breakfast included or served. I liked the location as it was close to the care centre where I was visiting someone There was no A/C for two days and the room was a sweat box- I ran out of towels and had to go down to get some. The stairs were hard to climb and slippery, I was put on the third floor with no elevator
- Michael (2/5): Very poor -
- Zachary (5/5): Passable - The food. It was pretty good.
- Christopher (10/5): Excellent - The friendly staff and the location is great
- Feusi (8/5): Very good -
- Satnam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Feusi (8/5): Very good -
- David (10/5): Great for the price - Very friendly staff, smells good inside smoke free property. Perfect for work I would've liked breakfast but they don't offer it, their on site restaurant is a must try though, delicious shawarma and kebabs
- Mounir (10/5): Great - Friendly and helpful staff. Was exactly what I needed. Met my needs and was under budget. Will stay here again when in town. Special thanks to the cleaning lady who brought me extra coffee.
- Alex (8/5): Good room, great - Comfortable, quiet room. Front desk lady super nice she allowed me to check in early. Nothing comes to mind
- Abdulsalam (10/5): Decent place to save on sub - Nice room. The cable had a decent selection. Good for a cheap place to sleep while out here for work, will be back
- Natasha (9/5): Superb - Perfect location in the heart of Bonnyville, big room that was clean and quiet and had everything I needed. Would stay here again the next time I go to Bonnyville. It wasn't very luxurious but good value for what I paid
- Wanda (10/5): Comfortable, relaxing stay - Veey clean room, housekeeping did a good job. The hotel appeared to be recently renovated, modern furnishings, kitchenette with a large sized fridge was a bonus.
Good value for the money I wish the restaurant opened earlier.
- Monias (5/5): Passable -
- Janne (10/5): Exceptional - Was able to relax and watch movies All was fine
- Janos (2/5): - 2nd day in the manager left and there was literally no one to get a hold of for room service. This has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Definitely not worth trying to be on a budget. Spend a little more and stay somewhere a bit safer where you won’t be expecting to get stabbed any minute. Ps the manager quit on the spot due to armed robbery.
- Carrie (2/5): - Dirty, smelly, drug use in area and sounded like someone was beating up their other half everyday. Very sketchy would not recommend this place to anyone. It should be removed from this site.
- Laurence (10/5): Home away from Home - Booked for 3 days..... But stayed for 6
Older Hotel... Very clean,. And very reasonable
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Extremely dirty and smelly. Stains on bed, room smelled like cigar and the smell lingered to all clothing
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Room was fine but not sure who felt the need to scream and slam doors all night
- Verified traveler (6/5): - People yelling outside the window, next morning same guy passed out in lobby. A/C was covered by curtains so they had to be open to use it. Room and staff was good though.
- Joel (10/5): - This hotel provides a clean and safe atmosphere at an affordable price!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Stunk. Not the cleanest hotel. I wouldn't recommend staying here. Not in a good area either.
- Joshua (2/5): The worst hotel in bonnyville - Absolutely one of the most disgusting hotels I have ever booked in too
As soon as I walked into this dingy old build I already had the feeling it was a rat trap with doors
I get up too my room we’re I promptly checked the bed when I noticed blood spatters all over the side of the sheets
I immediately when too the front desk and demanded my money back ., after driving 6 hr too an event that I work with ., I traveled down the street too the bests western ., which hooked me up on the spot after explaining the situation and they upgrade my too a jacuzzi suite and had the best stay at a hotel I’ve had in years
- BA (6/5): - The hotel upon arrival looks rather sketchy and there is a bit of a smell in the lobby. The room itself, though rather outdated, had a nice renovated bathroom, 1 of the 2 double beds are very comfortable and the room contained a kitchen area with a decent size fridge, microwave, hotplate, sink, cupboard and a random assortment of dishes (bring your own if you plan on doing food prep as the dishes are an incomplete mix match). I was happy enough staying there; my husband was turned off by the sketchy appearance and general outdated look of the room (other than the updated renovated bathroom). If appearance isn't a big deal for you and you don't need anything other than a place to sleep and maybe do some food prep, it will probably meet your needs at a reasonable cost. We were only there one night and it was quiet. Parking is available on the street in front of the hotel.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Rooms were big and comfy, with bigger than usual fridge.
- justmeee25 (2/5): Rude Front Desk - We came here to have a place to stay for the night so we could explore the lakes surrounding Bonnyville during the day. The front desk was unattended when we arrived so we waited till somebody showed up, an elderly man came out after awhile and said he would call the front desk. The front desk came down and asked us if we have a reservation without even greeting us. But that was okay, The worse part was when he told us that you have to pay extra for the second person upon checking us in, I was shocked coz we book for a single room with 2 adults but he wanted to charge us extra.i told him what was on my itinerary which was for a single room for 2 adults and he told us -“Okay, I’ll let you get away with that now but you can’t do it next time”- I was like, are you out of your mind! We are not in any way taking advantage of you coz we are just going with what was on our reservation. so I told him forget it, and walked away. Called Expedia and cancelled my reservation there.. Stayed in Western Budget instead, Was a decent place and comfortable beds.
- ArmandoGL (10/5): Excellent service - Staff is always very polite and efficient. They are alway looking for ways to improve and help with anything you need. Thank you to all Daysinn Bonnyville staff. For sure I will come back to this amazing hotel.
- 891yvonnel (10/5): Excellent hotel value - Excellent hotel for a small town. Very clean, wonderful spacious rooms. We stayed with a little dog. Excellent service from the front desk. We would Highly recommend this hotel.. It has a very friendly pub on the main floor which serves great food.
- tarad240 (8/5): Adventure Hotel - If you love old hotels, then you are in for a treat.
This is an historic hotel, the only thing missing we're ghosts
What a great little hotel!
Good location,clean,hot water,spacious with kitchenette,wifi,air conditioning,windows which open wide,great service,and very comfortable beds.
Did I mention, what do you want for 66 dollars s night?
Randy at the front desk was beyond helpful, great service.
Will be back
- KatM1069 (10/5): Huge Room - Stayed here while visiting family on a budget, was perfect for us. Our room was so spacious and I really liked the kitchenette, the hotel is obviously renovated, our room was still very new feeling and clean. Comfortable bed. Quiet when we stayed. Lobby a little shabby but that's alrite, all we really care about when I travel is our room.
- apokalypsidungeon (2/5): Gross! - The hotel doesn't look like pictures. There was windows boarded up. And when we said we weren't staying He charged us anyways.
Don't stay here no matter how good the price looks.
It's disgusting and there's no customer service.
- sam101010 (10/5): Great stay.. Will definetly be back! - I stayed at this Hotel for a little over a month during work projects. Rooms are clean and newly renovated, new furniture, comfortable bed, good experience, and the rates are fair priced and worth it compared to previous hotels I stayed with in the area. Will be back for sure my next time around.
- nassreinh (10/5): Great Value! - Exceeded my expectations! Rooms have been recently renovated and are very nice and clean. I was especially happy with the kitchenette, my room had a full sized stainless steel refrigerator, and there was lots of cupboard space. The manager was friendly and really seemed to care if I was happy with my experience. It was also really good value for what I paid, compared with other hotels in the area. Would stay here again.
