• HURTEVENT (3/5): Très décevant. - Le jardin vaste et très fleuri Le lit, très inconfortable. Le dîner cher pour ce qui est proposé (peu de quantité pour le plat, fruits pas mûrs et glacés en dessert. Le petit déjeuner très basique.

(conform wérkelijke situatie) @Mazzetta; PAS UW PRIJS AAN (conform wérkel - NIET BOEKEN Afwezigheid van personeel; zodoende kon ik ‘vrij’ rond ;) Vervallen, slecht onderhoud, soms bouwvallig én gevaarlijk, vochtig, kakkerlakken, host wilde niet gratis annuleren, zodoende ‘móesten’ we wel. Ongelooflijk dat ze hier groepen van TUI en De Jong Intra laten komen (mss vanwege één nacht, daarna doorreis). Let op je auto als je van de harde weg afslaat richting accommodatie; Parijs-Dakar !

• Riccardo (7/5): - Il personale è cortese e va oltre il proprio dovere rendendosi disponibile senza riserve. Purtroppo la struttura risulta avere dei trascorsi "gloriosi" ma in molti particolari è, oramai, da sistemare e da ristrutturare. Purtroppo poi, le dimensioni, non aiutano nel tenerla particolarmente in ordine. Diciamo che avrebbe bisogno di una degna ristrutturazione. Resta che il rapporto prezzo/prestazioni è più che adeguato e ribadisco, lo staff tutto, è di una gentilezza e disponibilità impagabili. Purtroppo il giardino è lasciato un po' troppo a "se stesso" e in alcune zone sarebbero necessari dei lavori di ristrutturazione e ammodernamento. Peccato perché si percepisce il carisma e la "gloria" che fu della struttura.

• Marieke (4/5): Teleurstellend - Locatie is goed. Ligt erg rustig. En er is een zwembad. Faciliteiten zijn slecht. (Keuken dicht, je kunt geen drinken krijgen) Kamers zijn muf en vochtig. We hadden een kamer met lekkage. Dit werdt wel meteen goed opgelost. Er is veel achterstallig onderhoud aan zowel accomodaties als het gebouw. Ontbijt is minimaal.
• EMELINE (8/5): - La chambre était spacieuse et confortable, le ménage était fait tout les jours mais ce que nous avons apprécié par dessus tout c'était le jardin: des fleurs, des arbustes, des petits chemins partout et la piscine avec un grand nombre de transats et parasols. La seule chose qui nous a manqué était le restaurant, malheureusement fermé pendant notre séjour. L'accès se fait après un long chemin de terre et de cailloux au milieu des oliviers, nous n'avons pas eu de soucis pour la voiture mais cela veut aussi dire que c'est très calme dans la soirée donc si vous cherchez du calme c'est le bon endroit.

Colazione a buffet completa (sia salata che dolce, con torte fresche diverse ogni giorno e soprattutto con delle ottime focaccine pugliesi). La piscina è grande e mai affollata. Pulizia della stanza impeccabile. Rapporto qualitá /prezzo piú che ottimo Da curare e fare manutenzione a qualche piccolo dettaglio, ma nulla di eclatante. Se vogliamo essere precisi, materasso un tantino scomodo (troppo morbido).

• Ioannis Bletsis (9/5): Υπέροχο μέρος - Απαραίτητο το αμάξι. - Ο χώρος ήταν φανταστικός, σαν μια μικρή έπαυλη με πολύ ωραίο κήπο. Το δωμάτιο αν και το standard ήταν πολύ μεγάλο, όμορφο, με πέτρινους τοίχους και πολύ καθαρό. Η καθαριότητα ήταν καθημερινη. Ο εξωτερικός χώρος πολύ ωραίος και καλοσυντηρημενος. Η πισίνα ήταν μεγάλη καθαρη και ομορφη. Για εμένα η σχέση ποιότητας τιμής ήταν πολύ καλή Ο δρόμος για να φτάσεις στο ξενοδοχείο είναι 1.5 km χωματόδρομος. Το πιο κοντινό μέρος για να φας-πιεις είναι 15 λεπτά με το αμάξι. Αλλά έχει καλό φαι και είναι όμορφες περιοχές. Το πρωινό είναι ωραίο υπάρχουν επιλογές αλλά θα μπορούσε να υπάρχει λίγο περισσότερη ποικιλία στα αλμυρά.

• Lisanne (8/5): Heerlijke uitvalsbasis om dingen te bezoeken, met fijn zwembad, prima ontbijt en vriendelijke medewerkers - Alles is aanwezig wat je nodig hebt voor een lekker verblijf: een lekker zwembad, prima ontbijt en een goede service. Elke dag kwamen we terug in ons appartement en hadden we een opgemaakt bed en nieuwe handdoeken. Alle medewerkers waren super behulpzaam. Het is een goede uitvalsbasis om wat andere plaatjes te bezoeken. De accommodatie heeft veel potentie, maar zou her en der wel een opknapbeurt kunnen gebruiken. Er zijn veel bloemen en de accommodatie is erg groot. Dus het zou nog meer een paradijs kunnen zijn. Ik vond het geweldig dat er zoveel katjes rondliepen, maar tegelijk schrijnend, omdat ze geen thuis hebben en allemaal veelvuldig zwanger zijn en er weer nieuwe kittens bijkomen. Ze leven op hetgeen wat de gasten ze geven denk ik…

Peut-être faudra-t-il proposer 2-3 recommandations (restaurants, dégustations de vins, activités,…) dans les environs. Endroit reposant et bien placé pour accéder aux villes des alentours !

• Jubiethecat (8/5): Lovely rustic place with gorgeous gardens/property - Gorgeous property with lots of Gardens and paths and swimming pool area. nice large restaurant. Great selection for breakfast. rooms are huge as are the bathrooms and you have a private patio area. staff is very helpful The chef had a great ideas and concepts for cooking our meals but lacked experience and execution. several dishes were oversalted. for one of our dinners he served eggplant sauce for two of the three courses. beef was way overcooked. ( just some examples he needs to tweak his execution) but he was really nice and accommodating.
• LynC131 (8/5): Very quiet - If you want to escape for a day or two then this is the place. Room 10 was very good and clean. The grounds are lovely around reception and this room. Breakfast is plentiful especially if you like cake!! Pool is unheated and needs some maintenance but is a very good size and there are plenty of sun loungers. This is a no frills stay. Tips: you NEED a car and bring snacks and drinks with you. Dinner has to be ordered in the morning.
• David (7/5): Lovely environment but car essential - Breakfast was good with a wide variety of options. Pool was a great size with plenty of sun loungers. Rooms and site were quiet. Very pleasant environment in a rural setting. Bed was comfortable. Shower cubicle leaked water over the floor. Pool needs some maintenance. It is literally miles from anywhere and the hotel only provides breakfast and evening meal if you book in the morning. You really do need your own transport. It was our mistake, but taxis were expensive, scarce and not always reliable.

It was useful that evening meals are available albeit quite basic

The owner was very curious and greeted us daily.Our standard room was amazing.Lovely friendly ladies refreshed our room daily. The grounds,garden all well kept a natural look in keeping with the 15th Century building. Rosata greets you with a smile at breakfast and sets out a lovely choice and great coffee. It was extremely quiet but that suited us.Any drinks just go to reception. Would suggest getting snacks and drinks from local supermarket and store in your own fridge. Beautiful pool area with noticeable new sunbeds.Good base for exploring the area.Evening meals based on local produce and all very good. Had a wonderful relaxing break. Highly Recommend.

Furniture was broken and sunbeds rotten. Grounds were overgrown. The place was run down and appeared abandoned for years! Holes in wall next to electricity sockets, cheap plastic cups, mould on shower floor .. just awful.
• angelakI5725NZ (2/5): Run down, neglected, not at all like the photos, very disappointed - Nothing like the photos. The pool was a muddy brown puddle in the deep end full of tadpoles. Lots of tiles on the pool floor were broken with sharp edges. Round the pool there was no seating and the cushions under the canopy were brown and mouldy. The gardens were overgrown with weeds. The furniture was either rotten wood or plastic chairs. Everything was worn, neglected and needed replaced. In the bedroom were exposed wires in both bedside lamps and a hole in the wall adjacent to one plug. Very disappointing all round and not what we were expecting
• robmV4000NB (6/5): Beware - No Pool Early Season - As the title says a very important detail to notice before booking is that the beautiful pictures of loungers around a glassy pool are a fiction for the early part of the season - so beware. On arrival we were told it might open on 1st June, until then it's just a sad, deserted muddy puddle. As we'd thought we'd booked a hotel with a pool, we were very disappointed & mentioned it twice to the receptionist, but no action was taken. I'll add, too, avoid rooms 1-4 on site as your bedroom window looks straight out onto a car port & the larger car park.

The breakfast was disappointing compared to what we had in other accommodations for slightly more. The room was "musty" / damp smelling. As you entered reception there was an open dustbin at the entrance. Not much attention to detail for the price paid.

Great pool which we did not use due to thunderstorms Lovely garden If what we were provided with was a superior room with a double and single bed this property should not be on your website. Unable to attach photos but clear Misrepresentation. Small downstairs are with mezzanine double bed. One small window to outside. When we arrived the receptionist claimed not to have our Booking.com reservation. Claimed to have no rooms available. Her view was that we should have viewed the property on Booking then called the hotel to book a room!!

• JeDi666 (10/5): What a lovely place - I booked this place as a short 4 day get-away, and must say it exceeded all my expectations. Excellent location for sightseeing trips to Puglias' fantastic sites, beautiful farm location surrounded by olive trees, a large and clean room (#13) with daily fresh towels, fabulous swimming pool, yummy breakfast (fried eggs on request, fresh and toasted bread, cakes, fruits, cheese, ham, yogurt, cereals, etc. and tasty coffee). Loved the gardens and the tasty glasses of wine I got served there in the evenings. Particular a big thank you to Anna serving a "Covid-save" breakfast, she made me laugh in the mornings, and to the kind gentleman making the coffees. Overall, a very relaxing stay indeed and I can only recommend this place. Just as a note, make sure you have the directions to the place with you, as my car GPS did not find the location.... Also bring your own shampoo, I was not so keen on the one provided. Check-out was a little chaotic and took a long time as I did not have cash for the Tax as apparently required in Italy, I also had to explain several times that I will not pay tax for two people, even though staying in a double room, as I was travelling alone. Other staff at reception though had been lovely before. I hope you will enjoy your stay as I did.
• shonnie007 (8/5): Small holiday - We visited Puglia for a short stay and wanted to stay in a special place. We found your place and it was o so beautiful! The way to the entrance was very bumpy but that made it special already. When we arrived we really loved the flowers and the nature. They accompanied us to our room that was very clean and cozy. We loved it a lot. The swimming pool was very big and so calm around it. Perfect way to relax. The breakfast wasn’t that Special but we knew that before booking. More sweet cakes and pies and no sandwiches and no choice of cheeses and cold cuts. ( just regular cheese and ham ) fruit was very good. So as we are breakfast lovers it was something we missed but we knew it in advance. If you come to relax and rest a lot this is the place to be. We had a very nice stay and enjoyed so we were happy! If you're looking for a peaceful place, full of charm, away from big streets and pollution to spend your holiday, this would be the perfect choice. We will definitely be returning to Tenuta Mazzetta for more sun and relaxing time.

Bâtiments en carré avec chambres autour de ce jardin, belle grande piscine sur le côté. Accueil très aimable, souper local. Chambres tout confort, mais d'un effet surprenant, tant elles sont créées dans leur jus. Très commode pour rejoindre l'aéroport de Brindisi (25 mn sur autoroute)

Ambiente esterno con poca pulizia ( ma mi rendo conto che è difficile viste le dimensioni). La strada per arrivarci : 1500 metri di sterrato pieno di buche degno del rally di Montecarlo!!
• Harvey (10/5): - We stayed here for 3 weeks in late July / Early August. The place is amazing - beautiful grounds and buildings, superb swimming pool, lovely staff. A couple of very minor gripes (needs a Bar and / or vending machine to buy drinks and snacks during the day (although Lidl is a couple of miles up the road), but on the whole Id definitely recommend it if you want peace and tranquility in a stunning setting. Nearby San Vito Dei Normanni and Mesagne are great towns to enjoy food and an evening out. The beaches around Torre Santa Sabina are wonderful - avoid the pay-to-play lidos, there are so many free beaches to enjoy. Can’t wait to go back.

My only suggestion would be to put “black-out” curtains on the windows as in the summer the sun is up by 4-5am and the room got very bright while trying to stay asleep.

• Lauren (10/5): Rustic charm hidden in the countryside - Rustic, spacious accommodation, room with lovely high ceilings, tons of space, lovely clean pool. A little shabby round the edges, and breakfast on the basic side, but brilliant service and overall a real hidden gem. It even has a tiny chapel in the grounds. Cute kittens and beautiful flowers everywhere.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Italian Countryside Villa - It is a beautiful Italian villa situated in the quiet countryside surrounding Brindisi. It is very quite and peaceful. The pool area is amazing and incredibly relaxing. Rates are reasonable. Staff is very helpful. Dinner on the premises was very filling and a wonderful taste of Italian home cooking.

We were lucky -google got us there but others not so lucky -resorted to asking locals which can be fun in a language you don't know! So don't bother unless you take a GPS or smart phone.The auberge (that's what it is) is up a track about 1 kilometre long and when we arrived no one spoke English -but a key was ready and the room ok.Simple, basic but all worked - even the dreaded bi fold plastic shower door so be small person! - a real let down to the antique nature of the place. food was rustic .hearty and ok, breakfast lovely.No choice of evening meal but local towns are bereft of restaurants - maybe better later as its April as I write.Weather great 25o all the time there. Easy drive from Bari or even closer to Brindisi. If you need some help finding it- look for the restaurant/ disco sign on the east side out of the town heading to st Vito - about 2 miles,slow and look for track to the right opposite a speed camera! its about 400 metres from the disco place to the turn but as stated the auberge is a long way away up the track
• bjornb438 (6/5): High potential - This place has great potential, but do to many minor flaws I cannot go beyond a three star rating. Pro's: quite, traditional, great pool area, spacious rooms, great dinner. Cons: maintenance of the pool area beds, bath tub was leaking, no coffee service after dinner, no shower curtain of whatsoever (wet bathroom), very bad English, No bread for breakfast. Do some maintenance, hang some nice curtains and learn English. That will guarantee 100% satisfied costumers.
• Linda (10/5): Relaxing - Very relaxing, helpful friendly staff who spoke very good English. A good base from which to explore the region of Salento and the Valle d'Itria. Car essential. Wifi was not great but plenty of phone signal. Clean air-conditioned rooms.
• Y2772NFjacks (6/5): Very beautiful place. - We have stayed in this beautiful farmhouse for two weeks. The place itself is absolutely stunning, rustic and traditional Italian look. When we arrived there, first thing we have notice was the silance - peace only interrupted by the sound of crickets. The pool is nice, big and most importantly not crowded - great place to relax, and cool down in the hot weather. Staff at Tenuta Mazetta very helpful and friendly. This place could get from us 5 star rating but unfortunately there is many things that need to be improved. Definitely this farmhouse needs some love and care. In our bathroom the shower head and toilet seat was broken, leaking shower and pipes, cob webs hanging from the ceiling and lamps. Outside, the pathways were overgrowing with weeds, taking rustic a bit too far. The pool area is lacking any maintenance with loungers broken and mattreses strewn accros the garden after winds. Shaded area again overgrown and the pool had a broken underwater light so sharp I ripped my trunks, even though I would recommend this place to my friends and family.
