- Shachin (4/5): - I felt the hotel didnt want to cater for its guests, the restaurants is open till 6.15pm, there is no bar on the site, although they advertise cocktails, some of the posters advertise their restaurant or food available till 20.30pm but not once did i see anyone dining. We had 20% food and drink vouchers as we are platinum expedia guests but we couldnt use them as it was always closed. The room was a hazard, could step on the floor with out slippers, the wooden floor was broken had gaps, the room ceiking had plaster patches all over. There was redecorating of rooms all over the hotel but we didnt get any apologies nor any offer to change rooms. I wouldnt go back to this hotel

- Rachell (10/5): - Central to everything I needed. Clean, although the room can use an update. I can tell moisture is an issue. WiFi was great throughout, the ac stayed cool. Water pressure in the bathroom was great. Staff were friendly and accommodating and the truck taking you to Patong beach was an added bonus. Breakfast options were good too.

- wend0lieb (10/5): Great stay at Hotel IKON Phuket! - We stayed as a couple on this hotel for 14 nights and we enjoyed our stay there. There is a short walk around 100 meters from the hotel to a 7Eleven store, which was very convenient. You will also find restaurants, stores and massage studios nearby. There’s a short walk to Karon Avenue, where you can also find some restaurants and stores. It’s a very short walk to Karon Beach from the hotel, which was very great. The hotel is offering free shuttle to and from Karon Beach every hours. The staff was very friendly and helpful! :) The cleaning was great but, we could see some dust over the bed and on the chair next to the bed. Not sure if it was mold or dust on the chair. A bad smell was coming into the room from air conditioning, don’t know the reason if they were fixing the pipes or what. We can highly recommend this hotel for everyone who want’s to visit Phuket and stay at a more quiet area then Patong and Kata! :)

I felt sorry at times that some customers (mainly from Northern Europe) were often rude and greedy when it came to breakfast service. We would stay here again.

The gym in the hotel is quite small and the second air conditioner is out of order - hot! The breakfast is varied and the staff is friendly. The pool area is cozy. Paid drinks served directly to the sun loungers. Free parking for hotel guests' rental scooters.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Room for improvements - The rooms are fine at this hotel but the facilities left alot to consider. There is no bar by the pool area or anywhere in the hotel. There is a cafe but closes already at 5pm. The electricity outlets was also brokek at our room and the TV was broken down most of the time and had to call in technicians to fix at two different occasions. On top of that the safety box, which was operated digitally, stopped working after two days so it had to be replaced during our stay. For the price you pay at this hotel I would say I did expect more excellence

- paulharhen (10/5): Highly recommended - The 4 of us stayed there for 5 nights in total and we had 2 rooms. We found the hotel excellent in all respects. The Reception staff were friendly and highly efficient. The rooms were large, clean and had balconies with tables and chairs. 2 bottles of water were left in the rooms each day too. And there was a safe and fridge. The breakfast was ample even for vegetarians and vegans with a selection of fruit, cereals, hot meals, The Breakfast staff were great too. omelettes etc, cakes and toast. And the pool was great too with towels provided (for the beach too by the way at reception). There was even a free hourly shuttle bus to the beach and back. Note there was even a 7/11 next door.

Staff super friendly and always willing to give great advice for the area.. Overall great trip will be back again.
- Misagh (10/5): - I reqlly liked the place. If your younger do not even worry about it, either rent a bike or it is 10 minutes walk to Karon beach. Otherwise they have multiple shuttle a day to take you to the beach. Highly recommended 👌.

- 365yenk (8/5): Phuket trip stay experience - Staff are very friendly and helpful. They first bring us to our room, and they will bring on the luggage after that. They have shuttle bus to karon beach but the last timing is only until 5pm, which was little early. I also got a complimentary pancake from the hotel on my birthday. Overall the room is good and comfortable.

- Gordon (4/5): - Sadly, the rooms in building C stink. The materials they’ve selected to build with absorb moisture so the place stinks of mold. Be prepared to walk up a ton of stairs. From the street to my room, 200 steps. Otherwise, it requires riding 3 different elevators. Note: you have to lug your luggage up at least one flight of stairs between elevators. Fine, but it’s not protected from the elements, so if it’s raining be prepared to get soaked.
- Andrea (10/5): - The hotel was a great choice for our stay in Phuket. Karon beach was very nice. The hotel has a great pool area with a restaurant. The breakfast was always great choices are limited by there is always something to eat. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable. I would book again.
- David John (10/5): - I loved my 3 weeks at Ikon. The facilities are terrific of course. Thailand know how to make a good clean and well prepared hotel. However Ikon are head and shoulders above the norm. Threat staff are the kindest, most caring efficient people I’ve ever met in a hotel. Nothing was to difficult for them. One morning with jet lag I was out of coffee, 3am. The over night reception ran up flights of stairs to get me a few sachets of Nescafé! I’ve stayed all around the world but this is my favourite place. Such a sad farewell today. Stay at Ikon at Karon Beach. Say hi to Biw for me.

Location is convenient to excellent local restaurants, 7/11, and services such as laundry. I just wish the bathroom doors can be locked.

- sharifa_mohamed (8/5): Great value - Me and my mother had a wonderful stay, the hotel is big with spacious rooms and bathrooms with amazing views. Also the breakfast was really delicious. The only issue we faced was the humidity in the room itself if we close or raise the temperature it used to get so humid and water will start dripping from the ceiling, mirrors chairs. But overall if you are looking for good high quality stay with affordable prices this hotel is for you . The location was great for us since it was far from all the hassle and busy streets.

- MALLAK (2/5): - Very bad hotel and expensive The room service was bad , they charge as for the water The room was so old and dirty and also the bathroom Also the room has air conditioners but it is really hot, we ask them to change the room but all room was hot The breakfast is so bad and you don’t have much choices The lobby was so hot and no air conditioning on it The building is so far it take 10 minutes and 3 elevators and 2 stairs to get to your room Bad experience not recommended at all

- Katie7S (10/5): Great stay for good value - We moved to this hotel for 1 night after leaving another hotel after a night of no sleep. The reception staff were so friendly and helpful, ensuring us that our room AC would be suitable and we would have a restful stay. We sure did - the bed was extremely comfortable, the aircon worked well, whilst the room was well maintained and clean. We had a slight issue with the TV, and a friendly engineer appeared immediately and fixed it efficiently. Breakfast was good - great selection and eggs cooked to order; poached eggs were lovely, however, more fruit would have been good. Pool area was lovely, perfect for swimming and in the sun. Overall; would highly recommend especially for the price. Its basic, but clean with an efficient friendly service - all staff were lovely and friendly.
- 340beverlyh (6/5): The PROS and CONS of staying at the IKON - Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. There is a breakfast included option when booking and this was helpful each morning. They stock your room daily with Beer, pop, snacks, and water. Cons: Location! It’s off a busy street that doesn’t have sidewalks. It’s a shuttle ride to the beach. I would have preferred to be closer and within walking distance to the beach. The pool is a chlorinated small pool with limited lounge chairs. There are three buildings (A, B and C). C has the best views but means 3 different elevators to get to your room. Not what you picture when you think of a resort!
- C (8/5): - The hotel is within walking distance to Karon beach without being immersed in the busier beach traffic. There are plenty of restaurants near by or enjoy the hotel breakfast. The staff are attentive and helpful.
- Nayali (8/5): All around good hotel - This was a nice hotel. They had a good breakfast spread and transportation to the beach that runs every hour in the morning. The front desk was very helpful when our safe did not work and held our luggage after check out. The airport transportation arrangements were also very easy and affordable. The only thing is that there are 3 separate buildings for the rooms and we stayed in the highest floor so we had to take 2 or 3 elevators to get to the pool or lobby. The ocean view is more of just a higher view of the area and a sliver of the ocean.

- noblePat (6/5): Decent - The hotel is very decent and basic amenities if you do not stay in the surrounding hotel area. Basic comfort from the bed and good water shower pressure. The service is very lame, not accommodative even the hotel is 'not full'. We arrived at 1040am, we knew standard check in is 2pm, we left the luggage and walk around, we came back at 1.40pm and was still said the room was not ready. It is the way how the communication is being delivered, perhaps guide the guest the room is still not ready, you can use the facilities or something, but none. Room were not given perhaps till 2.30pm which again is fine. .rule is check out is 12pm, we are having the flight at 8pm, we knew we cannot be demanding and unreasonable requesting for late check for free till 4pm, we were requesting for 2pm, got it for 1pm. Okay we noted it is up to the hotel perrogotive as well, we appreciate all the support given. The bottom line is, it is not what you can do but how you deliver the message

The staff were friendly, helpful and convivial, but they were just working in a tired old hotel that is probably due for some upgrades! It’s a bit of a walk from the beach so as long as you don’t mind that, or a bit of undetermined mess in your room, you’ll be happy!
- Louise (8/5): Lovely room but bit far from the beach - Lovely room with the biggest and most comfortable bed I've had in Phuket so far. Pool and buffet breakfast were lovely. Wifi was a bit patchy and my last night there was a constant whine coming from somewhere that kept me up. At least a 20 minute walk to the beach but pretty flat so easy. Whilst there is a free shuttle bus to the beach it isn't often enough to be useful. Good eateries and massage opportunities aplenty
- Samantha (10/5): - What a lovely hotel. The staff are so kind and accommodating; from the hotel manager to the housekeeping crew, everyone was amazing! They also made it easy for us to arrange airport transfers and booking ferry to Koh Phi Phi with van transfers. They’re very responsive and helpful. The rooms are very nice, well kept, comfortable, and clean. They give you daily waters in recycled glass bottles, coffees and teas. The bonus are the free shuttle service to Karon Beach and back, and complementary beach and pool towels! There are plenty of food options around the area within walking distance. You also have the gas station next door with a. 7a-eleven. I’d stay with them again 10/10.

- U432XDcs (2/5): Not a 4 star hotel - The reception has no clue about anything. I asked them about dry cleaning and they didn't even know the basic information which was present on the paper that is left in the room about the two services offered. We booked a taxi to one of the markets in the city we said can you book it in 15minutes. As we walked down to the lobby I saw the guy who saw us and immediately books it then so we had to wait a while for the taxi. The reason we asked it to be booked at a certain time was because we were running late to see the markets before they closed just leaves you frustrated and annoyed but that wasn't the worst bit. The guy also didn't put the correct address so the Grab Taxi driver took us somewhere else instead even though my partner had told them twice both in English and Thai the place we wanted to go. We ended up having to get another taxi to our intended destination. This is just completely poor service and lack of due diligence. Another problem we faced was the rooms not being cleaned properly. Towels were missing when they got replaced so we only ended up getting one towel. The aircon in the room is also terrible and we paid for the panoramic view which wasn't even that. I read another review and someone said the exact same thing. The photos are deceiving of the 'ocean view' The lobby also has an area that is deserted. Seems once they served maybe coffee there or drinks but it's not just dead not so pleasant to stay around.

- Tilde (10/5): Amazing! - We were so satisfied and happy with this hotel! The room was nice and clean with a nice view from the balcony (no furniture though which would have been nice, just a little bench), overall the hotel is nicely located with about 20 minute walk to Karon beach. The breakfast was great and the service was great from everyone in the staff, especially the reception was so helpful. If there is one minor thing to note it would be that the hotel has different buildings - if you have a room in building C which is furthest away, it actually takes 3 elevators (or alot of stairs) to get to your room, which can be quite inconvinient in some situations.

- Ziliang (6/5): Nothing Speical - The price is not cheap or expensive, around 300+CNY when I stayed. Not too far from KARON beach, other memory points are not strong, but the rooms are really quite a lot. The internet is not too good, only 2-3 devices can be logged in.
- Whitney (10/5): - This is a really great hotel. It is not centrally located in Karon and to get to the main strip (restaurants and bars etc) it’s about a ten minute walk. It’s location not being in the thick of it in Karon is one of its strengths as the property is quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. The staff are fantastic from those at the front desk to the cleaning staff and the waiters. They were all very helpful, ordering us cabs and answering any requests quickly and effectively. The hotel is very quiet and despite being full we couldn’t hear any of the other hotel guests or external noise at all, which meant we had restful sleeps every night. One minor point is that the rooms didn’t have an iron so you have to call reception for someone to bring one. This was a little inconvenient but staff were quick to bring the iron when it was requested and I had no trouble getting one whenever I needed it. There are restaurants around the hotel, though more variety can be found further into Karon or Kata. The beach is about a 15 minute walk but if you don’t want to walk the hotel provides a shuttle service to and from the beach throughout the day. There is ample parking available for mopeds and some limited space for cars (perhaps about 8 spaces in total). Breakfast is buffet style, very tasty with a variety of options for meat eaters and vegetarians. Overall, a wonderful hotel! Highly recommended and would return if staying in Phuket again.
- BKK2525 (10/5): Perfect stay for a relaxing holiday - I stayed here for 5 days in December. Really enjoyed our stay. All staff were friendly and very helpful. The room were spacious, clean and very quiet. Me and my girlfriend came to stay and really wanted to relax and this hotel was perfect for it. We spent a lot of time by the beautiful pool which was never busy. Had lunch by the pool and the food were tasty, had breakfast every morning and the buffet was good. Really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again if we come back to the area.
- Malikaskarov (2/5): Bad service - Bad service, no one speak in English in coffe cafeteria in the hotel, in order to buy something you have to show like animal with a signals! When you finally buy order something the staff (which is 5 people) will start to prepare you order whenever they want! I just ordered coffee Americano she was preparing it 30 minutes! Nice
- Jeff (6/5): - The hotel is ...okay. Granted we stayed during the rainy season in September, but the place just felt dead. The reception wasnt manned after 6pm, the restaurant closed at 5pm and there was at most two people we saw at the pool. Very eery feeling. The main disappointment was that we had paid for breakfast to be included, however upon arriving we were told due to the season and limited guests the breakfast menu is reduced. It was literally a croissant and an egg, or croissant and what we in the UK have as a tinned hot dog. I appreciate limited numbers may put a strain on staff costs, but we're full paying customers, this didnt seem fair. Breakfast was nothing like the photos made it seem. On the positive side, when the staff were actually around, they were lovely just as nearly all Thai people are and the room was decent enough with a balcony... although 'sea view' was debatable.

- arshihotti (6/5): Ikon Hotel - We have stayed at the Ikon Hotel on many occasions. However, unfortunately on this occasion we have decided that we will not be returning. The house keeping is really really poor. We waited five hours to have our room cleaned. On two occasions I went down to the reception to complain. The reception is only manned till 16.00hrs. Also the restaurant closes at 16.00hrs therefore your only option is to go out in the evening for dinner. The breakfast is very limited, not much of a variety.
- Muggo1972 (6/5): Great hotel letdown by nothing open - Would be 4 or maybe even 5 stars apart from the fact that come 5pm you couldn't get a bite to eat or anything to drink in the place. Yes there are plenty places to go close by but a couple of the nights we could have been doing with just chilling in the hotel at night at the bar or restaurant advertised & they were shut. Actual hotel is lovely & the room was great although we found the frosted glass between the bedroom & shower a bit strange lol. Was fine for us as a married couple but if it was a twin room with friends or siblings sharing it would be a tad weird lol
- 204planetj (8/5): Lovely relaxing & good value place - Stayed here for 2 weeks during off-season. The hotel was lovely and quiet, modern furnishings and spotless rooms. Pool although small was always quiet & never busy (may have been due to off season, but hey!). Staff provided free drinks at the start of our stay which was a lovely gesture. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay, beach was nearby. If you’re looking for a hotel that avoids the classic family resort vibe and instead a quiet luxury one, this is the place to be!

- Damrongkait (8/5): Nice hotel - Very nice hotel up to the hillside. Quit a good view overlooking to the town. Due to COVID-19, the hotel was relly quiet while i like it.

- Michael (10/5): - The manager took the time to welcome us and spoke to us throughout our stay to make sure that everything was OK. The staff were exceptionally warm, enthusiastic and helpful.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The property itself was really good. They have a nice formal restaurant + a casual cafe next to the pool which also doubles as the morning breakfast (basic continental). The staff are very facilitating as we had a late flight and although check out was at 12pm they held our bags while we spent our last day out and even provided a room to shower in before our late flight. Location: is a 15min walk to the beach but be careful as there isn’t a pathway there you need to follow the road. A free shuttle in the morning takes you there 9am-10am-11am and a return of 1pm.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - This property is located only a 15 minute drive to Patong. Also a 10-15 minute walking distance to Karon beach offering shuttle services to the beach a few times a day. I went for the beach view premier room number 3602 10-16th october 2019. The rooms were very clean and the complimentary snack bar filled everyday. Staff were very helpful and went beyond to help you on every request. I really liked the size of the room and the size of the balcony it offered amazing for watching the sunset and rise. The rooms were of high standard and the quality surpasses global chains ie novotel and holiday inn. The only thing I would say is the lift system was not thought through their are three buildings blocks A,B,C with only one lift servicing each block not very helpful during peak times. Other than that I actually can't fault this hotel. Thank you team IKON.
