• Russell (10/5): - The room we got was huge, bigger than what we expected, and just what we needed. Incredibly convenient and well-situated for walking around Rome. You can see Trevi Fountain from the balcony. The front desk was friendly, very helpful, and accommodating. The only downsides are that the building is a little tricky to access (not surprising given its location), and the street below our room was pretty lively with folks until late. We would absolutely stay here again.

Cleaning products left out in the open, hard pasta near the sink that was never cleaned, floor was uneven, parts were raised. Located down a creepy hallway away from everything. overall pretty bad room. The girls at the front desk were very kind. Management was terrible. Refused to help or address any of the issues that were brought up.

It feels really satisfying to be staying in a former palace on a budget as well! The desk gave us free espresso and water while we waited, which was a rarity. Weirdly someone broke the toilet seat in our room right before we arrived, and they didn't seem to think that was important to fix (the way a hotel would).

• Robert (3/5): Disappointed (felt like camping) despite the location - The location is amazing! It's 150 steps from Trevi Fountain. The building is really cool looking. The showers were spotty. Sometimes, the water barely dripped with the faucet opened all the way. The shower faucet was damaged and was barely working. The communication was spotty at best. The room didn't match the description very closely and just felt lower end than the price and pictures would lead you to believe.

• Claudio (10/5): - I am very selective when looking for a place for my family to stay, but this place I can even begin to explained how unique it is. Don't expect the Ritz Carlton, but expect a very traditional and historic building outside, completely transform and modernized in the inside. Prepare yourself for an open concept ginormous room capable of fitting the Vatican inside of it. It is a family oriented place so all beds were basically exposed but all the beds were King size, all the beds were comfortable, I needed to text my children in other side of the room so I didn't need to yell, that's how big it is, i couldn't hear my son snore in the same room, that's hew enormous it is with 12 foot ceilings with beautiful classic finishes. Two giant closet and I kid you not I was afraid to go to Narnia if I opened one of them thas how big and impressive they were to us. One of the closets houses a fridge, (minibar), a conduction stove top (yes I mean it) it was basically a kitchenette. The bathroom has DOUBLE showers, the best part with privacy glass. So in my case the preparation of my family was cut in half with this great idea, did I also mentioned that the toilet , and bidet also had privacy glass, so basically 4 people could be in the bath at the same time. The location for us was perfect, 3 minutes away of Fontana Da Trevi, 10 minutes away of Pantheon, well 80 percent of what you want to see was at walking distance. Food is all around you, you are in the center of it.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Wonderful Stay! - We loved our short stay here. The location was wonderful and with limited AC in many places our room was cooled to perfection for us. We loved being so close to the Trevi Fountain, shops and restaurants. I felt very safe with the security measures the hotel had in place for guest safety. It was also very nice to have an elevator to haul our luggage up to our floor.
• Nora (4/5): The standard in the rooms was disappointing. The staff was nice. - The hotel was in a great area. Close to restaurants and nice streets. The check in and out was great and quick. The air conditioning system did not work in any of the rooms. We tried calling the staff on their emergency number after the reception was closed. The phone was still behind the reception desk and we did not get an answer all night. The hotel room was very hot and not comfortable to sleep without any aircondition. The bathroom had an broken sink and there was mold in the shower.

Επίσης το διαμέρισμα ήταν αρκετά ευρύχωρο. Καθημερινή καθαριότητα. Καταρχάς δεν ήταν ξενοδοχείο, αλλά μικρά διαμερίσματα διαχειριζόμενα από μια ρεσεψιόν. Στην αναζητηση μας ζητήσαμε ξενοδοχείο. Μας δόθηκε ένα διαμέρισμα με τρία επίπεδα στο ισόγειο του κτιρίου , χωρίς επικοινωνία με την ρεσεψιόν και η ασφάλεια ήταν σχετική. Το διαμέρισμα, αν και άνετο, ήταν ακατάλληλο για οικογένειες με μικρά παιδιά, καθώς το δεύτερο κρεβάτι βρισκόταν στο δευτερο επίπεδο και επικοινωνούσε με μια μικρή ξύλινη σκάλα. Το κατάλυμα γνώριζε ότι θα έχουμε μικρό παιδί μαζί μας. Οι τοίχοι ήταν θεοβρομικοι και στο διαμέρισμα υπήρχαν μυρμήγκια! Γενικά ο χώρος δεν ήταν εξαιρετικά φροντισμένος.

I had booked a different hotel for our trip but was worried about the size so when I found this place I switched and hoped it was close to the pictures online. Wow! We were so pleasantly surprised by the staff and the room. They were very helpful and made us an espresso while we waited for our room to be ready. They also took us to our room to make sure we were happy with the accommodation and gave us information about the hotel. Neat fact, it used to be a palace! This explains why the rooms are so big and the courtyard you enter to get in. There is only 1 key because it’s a really old door but very secure. The room was beautiful and very clean. There was everything we needed for a 4 day trip including a mini fridge, water kettle and safe. This is a 2 min walk to the Trevi Fountain so plenty of restaurants and markets close by. Even though it’s close to the hustle and bustle of the fountain it’s really quiet. Also, the bathroom was new and the shower was big, huge plus! Highly recommended this place and thank you to the staff who made our stay so welcoming!!

• Juliette (1/5): good until we checked out and they claimed damages and charged an extra 250EUR - Rooms were spacious but there was no view and no terrace for general socialising. This place would have been really good if there was a terrace we could use. All was good until we checked out and one week later I receive a message to claim there was damage and the fridge was broken, the claim was EUR250.They could not tell me which room nor the actual damage. I asked three times and the claim was a broken door. This was not broken when we checked out. I disputed this so they reduced the claim to EUR20. I still disputed this claim they then charged EUR250 to my credit card without consulation or approval. I called the place and they are refusing to speak with me to resolve this. There was no breakfast provided and no area to get together other than in our rooms. I am so upset with this outcome and I can't seem to get any support in having the amount repaid to me.

Meaning a family of four will pay an additional $300 on top of published rate, which is not worth it for this property considering all the other choices around. The entry was bizarre it was not a temperature controlled room. The flooring was warped and mismatched. The bathroom was located in this odd entry room and not in the bedroom. The shower was a hazard. It was super slick and would not be up to code in the USA. They need to replace or install anti slip features to the shower floor. The door that led to the bedroom had at some point had a plaque on it and since ripped off. The walls were marred with multiple holes and a big area had been sheet rocked and just left as is. The air conditioning never worked. One light fixture did not work. To operate the electricity you had to insert the room key (credit card) into a box on the wall, but when you left you had to retrieve the card to lock the door, this meant that all lights would then go off, the power to the refrigerator went out (forget keeping medicine in there), and had we had working air conditioners they would have also gone off. When I confronted staff about the ac not working and the overall condition of the not so sweet suite, they tried telling me that the price reflected the condition. I feel like they have mislead booking.com and the consumer. I was embarrassed that I rented this suite for my friends.

Felt like a princess Would be nice if there was some extra toiletries like a shower cap, shampoo and conditioner and some milk in the fridge

• Katherine (10/5): Living the Trevi Dream - Everyone at Trevi Suites was very kind. The property has a doorman who is very helpful and alway smiling. The apartment we stayed in was clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable. They came in and cleaned everyday ensuring we never ran out of anything. I will definitely stay here again.

We didn’t like that we didn’t get the room we had booked well in advance. We didn’t get 3 beds, we had 2 sofa beds. We had to keep asking for teabags.

• Jean-Michel (3/5): Rome est magnifique! Y loger dans ce type d'endroit diminue le plaisir du séjour... - Le service sur place était très bien. Les lits étaient faits tous les jours et les serviettes de douche étaient changées tous les jours. Les poubelles étaient vidées tous les jours également. La situation géographique de l'hôtel était parfaite. Notre appartement manquait d'entretien, les murs étaient abimés, des traces et des taches étaient visibles un peu partout. La salle de douches était abîmée à différents niveaux. Un bac de douche était fissuré. Des traces de rouille était visibles à différents endroits. Il n'y avait pas d'extracteur d'air, l'humidité était donc importante. Les fenêtres dans la chambre et le "salon", en simple vitrage, n'offraient aucune isolation acoustique. Il n'était plus possible de dormir correctement après 06h30 du matin. Nous n'avons jamais pu nous connecter au WIFI. Le mobilier (armoires, "cuisine" et canapé-lit) est bancal. Un établissement de ce niveau de prix devrait être rafraîchi régulièrement et offrir d'avantage de confort. Le rapport qualité/prix n'était pas au RDV. Nous avons commis l'erreur de ne pas mettre l'âge de nos enfants dans la réservation; leur nombre (2) était cependant bien indiqué. Nous avons dû payer un supplément de 500 euros à notre arrivée. Je ne comprends pas la logique de cette tarification. A partir du moment ou on loue un appartement d'une capacité de 4 places, pourquoi le prix varie t'il en fonction du nombre et de l'âge des personnes présentes? Les photos sur le site de booking sont trompeuses. Dans notre cas, l'appartement était largement moins agréable que ce que les photos présentaient. Nous avons vu les nombreux commentaires élogieux concernant cet endroit. Ils ont contribué à notre choix. Nous n'avons malheureusement pas eu le plaisir de vivre ce type d'expérience agréable.
• Oana Alexandra (9/5): Excellent - The location was very good and the flat was in a historic building which was really beautiful. The host(i think Reya was the name of the girl who welcomed us) was very helpful always. There were too many stairs inside the apartment (apart from the bedroom being at a different level from the living room which was clear from the flat description, the living room and bathroom and kitchen were also at a different level than the entrance in the flat) and my parents with low mobility had some difficulties in managing those. This is not clear in the description and I think should be updated.

No estaban en la recepción 24h, sin embargo, la atención por whatsapp fue muy buena y nos hicieron también buenas recomendaciones. Limpieza muy bien. Ubicación genial, con un buen restaurante justo en la puerta. Las habitaciones podrían estar más cuidadas. Parece que se invirtió en una remodelación y con el tiempo las cosas se van echando a perder por falta de mantenimiento. No me ha gustado que la última limpieza de utensilios de cocina la tengan que hacer los que se hospedan, no porque me importe limpiar lo mio, sino porque no sé quién vino antes, ni cómo de limpio ha dejado las cosas, por lo que finalmente no tocamos nada de la cocina.

• Miraflor (8/5): Awesome! - We love the grandeurs of the room we were in. The only problem we had is that we only have 1 set of key and no one can just stay in the room since the electricity is controlled by a key card attached to all the keys. There were 3 keys, one for the main entrance of the place, 2nd one is for the lobby at the 3rd flr and last one is for our room. Reception only opens at 8am and closes at 5pm so no one will be available if you check in or check out very early or after 5pm. We checked in before 5pm so we were good. Checkout early so we just left the keys at the lobby counter. We were offered espressos when we came and we were not charged, the next time it was a different person and we were charged. They prefer cash if you are paying for the $25 per person city tax?, cant remember what the charge was called. The water is cheaper with them than buying outside. Very close to the Trevi Fountain and lots of souvenir shops and restaurants around. Overall, our stay was great Single set of keys for group of 5 people

• andrea barbosa ribeiro (8/5): Otima estadia. - Adorei o tamanho do quarto, realmente é muito grande, cama e travesseiros confortaveis, banheiro muito bom. Só achei meio estranho quando cheguei que primeiro entrei em uma sala sem mobilha alguma onde tinhan duas portas, uma para o quarto e outra para o banheiro, acho que no futuro eles vão mobilhar e alugar como apartamento, mas isso nao foi problema, pois havia a porta principal que fechava tudo.

• Tuula (6/5): Ihan ok. - Sijainti oli loistava, sillä joka paikkaan pääsi käytännössä kävellen. Tyylillisesti oltiin jollain tapaa 'roomalaisuuden ytimessä'. Ikkkunanäkymä oli myös hieno. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja selvittivät esim. juna-aikatauluja lentokentälle pyytämättä. Aamiaista ei ollut. Se oli kyllä varatessa tiedossa, mutta olisi hyvä, jos sen voisi halutessaan valita. Henkilökunta oli kyllä ystävällistä, mutta hieman välinpitämätön yleisvaikutelma kieltämättä oli. Suihkujen vedenpaine oli huono, samoin ne toimimat vain osittain. Pyyhkeille ei ollut kylpyhuoneessa riittävästi koukkuja. Vessapaperi loppui kesken ja sitä piti käydä pyytämässä. Huone oli varattu neljälle, mutta kahvikuppeja oli vain kaksi. Pikakahvijauhe loppui kesken koska sitä ei täydennetty. Kun huoneessa oli siivottu, esim. kaikkia tyhjiä vesipulloja ei oltu viety pois. Silitysrauta olisi myös ollut hyvä lisä, sitä ei ollut.
• Dorin (5/5): I don’t recommend - The situation and the cleanliness. Windows that wouldn’t close properly ( old building), cold in the room - they had a temperature thermostat on the rooms hall which showed 23 degrees, in our room was barely 17/18 degrees. The reception woman when we checked out - very unfriendly. Refused to call a taxi for us to go to the airport - this should be a basic courtesy offered to any client. I found this to be very rude. They advertise that can keep your luggage till you need to leave. This lady told us to drop them in the hall, in the way of everybody passing by despite having some rooms in the reception back area. I wouldn’t return and I wouldn’t recommend. This is not a cheap accommodation, but you are treated cheaply.
