- Mercedes (6/5): Hope you have a good stomach - The resort was nice and it was clean but the whole time it smelled like sewage and it was way worse in the restrooms everywhere you went you smelled it and the A.C in are room everytime it kicked on the smell got stronger and i know complaining to the service desk wouldnt help because it smelled everywhere. I was disappointed paying $200 for one night to smell that was annoying but the beds were comfortable.

The restaurant food was so bad it was almost funny. How do you mess up something as simple as a grilled cheese sandwich?! You know it's supposed to be grilled, right? And $22 for a middle of the road scotch? This isn't Vegas. Price accordingly.

Why? - The hotel has always been a nice room and place to stay, but this time only channel that wouldn't tune in on the TV is FOX News... called front desk and was told they would contact maintenance but nobody ever showed and issue was bever resolved. I found it odd. CNN and MSNBC both worked just fine...

I didn't want to ask for another room, knowing that the situation may get even worse. I thought the price was pretty expensive as well for a casino. These seem like Vegas prices to me.

- Jeff (6/5): - The outside of the building felt like I was driving up to the scene of a cheesy movie from the 1980s. To be fair, inside the room was very nice and had obviously been updated. But the attached restaurant had the quality of food of my Jr High cafeteria at a much higher price. The staff was great and it was fine to grab a few hours sleep on my way through the area, but definitely not someplace I would stay for more than a night and next time I’m in the area I’ll find someplace else to stay.

- Travis (10/5): - This place was simply amazing. Super clean, super quiet and they give you free food, gambling money and pay for your gas even. Just for showing up. Best HOTEL staff I've ever experienced. I will be back many times. Your people are the best. Only feedback is to hire more staff at your restraunts and teach them how to properly care for diners. Took way too long for everything and after they bring your drinks and food they never come back to check on you. Both the steakhouse and the grill. Almoat an hour to get food and then the staff disappears for good. Since you pretty much gave us coupons for free food for days i shouldnt complain but if i had to pay, I'd be mad and certainly wouldn't tip. Still love your resort and casino and am ready to come back again. Thank you!

- Sarah (10/5): - Our room was clean and cozy, I would have given excellent all the way however I have to say something about the sheets on the bed, yes they were clean but the comfort just was not there because the bed sheets was very uncomfortable, laying on it felt like I was lying on plastic because it made me sweat. I thought it was just me that felt that way but come to find out my husband said he felt the same way. Not sure what kind of material it was made from but I suggest 100% cotton, especially with the desert heat. I would most certainly stay here again and hopefully the next the bed sheets would be different, if not hopefully I will not need to bring my own.

- james (4/5): Not What I Was Expecting - Web site stated there was a steakhouse, not ready yet, so no steakhouse. Web site said pool available, pool closed. TV in room did not work. Asked for a room close to exit so they put us in a room halfway down the hall, about as far from an exit as you could get. Room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. A $20 bill lasted about 1 minute in the casino so I only lasted 1 minute in the casino.

The room was spacious and very nicely put together. Very clean property and bedding was super comfortable. I look forward to coming back soon.

- Tracey (2/5): - We did not like that the pool and hot tube were closed for renovation. We booked this room specifically because they had these amenities. When we booked the room, there was no mention of the renovation. When we checked in, they were rude and unapologetic about the renovation. We were also told we should have booked directly from their website and not through Expedia. If we would have booked directly through them, they would have let us know about the renovation and would have given us Casino and food vouchers plus a better price for our room. We will never stay there again.

- Ann (10/5): - This was a wonderful getaway from the Phoenix area that we took. The hotel is very nicely remodeled and we absolutely loved the room and the comfortable beds. The staff that we encountered were all super friendly and eager to help. The casino is perfect for slot play and we enjoyed a delicious dinner at Apache Prime. Definitely worth the trip and we look forward to returning soon.

The hostess ignored us at first, seem like she was upset to get off her cell phone. Next morning when we are leaving the housekeeper say us and stated they finally leaving. We were walking out of our room at 10:45. Customers service needs improvement. Probably not come back.

We couldn’t even use the doors. This is not the hotels fault but it would have been nice if they had a generator or something because the rooms got very hot
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice renovated rooms - It was a very nice hotel. Clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was very nice, big shower. No microwave though. Disappointed swimming pool was closed too. Need more lights on property along the walkways
- Jerry (4/5): Good & Bad - They had a great special going on for first time visitors which we were, so we got a great room rate, $24 each for food, gas, and play money, totaling $144 in free stuff. We didn’t use all the food money since what we ordered was so much food there was no way to use it all, and our gas tank was fairly full so we just used a portion of it. They are sprucing up the hotel and they are almost complete, the elevators are still nasty looking but the room was nice, comfortable bed, great shower and the room is not cramped at all. BUT, as far as customer service, they need a whole lot of sprucing up. We got there early, before noon which is normal for us and only a handful of times do we get hit by this brick wall attitude from the front desk. We asked if it was possible for an early checkin and without looking she immediately began quoting the checkin time and that they were sold out…blah, blah, blah! We have worked in hotels and know that there are always rooms ready. So, we were upset but that didn’t change her attitude so we changed ours and asked for the earliest time for us to return, and she said 2pm, and that is when we returned. The room given to us at that time was not freshly cleaned, you could tell with little dust on items and also with the temperatures over 100 degrees outside, there was no air conditioning on and it was stifling in there. No way anybody had been in there to clean that day. That is just poor customer service which we will not be returning anytime soon

- Dalia (8/5): Won't go back again - When we got there we ate at the buffet for 2 people it was quite expensive with a very very small selection of food. Definitely not worth what we paid. Secondly the 1st night there we found bed bugs they moved us into another room and again more bed bugs. They offered to comp our rooms. Which was fine. But was not very happy at all. But please let me say that the pool was fantastic as was the spa.. the training room was also very nice. The weather was fantastic.

The hostess attending the Grill was a young woman who acted like we were disturbing her by seating us. The food was excellent, the wait staff was attentive. While we were eating, the buffet was being prepared...yet the sign stated it wasn't going to open on that day. Nor did the hostess mention it. The hotel was clean, but in need of updating.
- Verified traveler (4/5): dirty room - The room was HOT when we checked in. it was very Uncomfortable and the cooler was not doing its job to cool the place down a little. We had to call maintenance, they never showed up and they told the front desk people that there were too many people in the room. There were only 2 of us in there and no one came to check the cooler. The towels in the restroom didn't smell nice either. They had a musky smell to them and the treads came off when we went to use them. The room could have use a good vaccum cleaning. There were lents near the cooler, I'm not sure if that was from the maintenance guy working on it or if they were there already. There were also a handful of dead moths by the screen door behind the sliding door curtain. Talking about dead animals there was a dead bat in the pool area and it was very smelly.

- Robert (4/5): Disappointed couple - Checkin was very slow, the pool and spa were closed with problems. Our room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. The TV and a couple of lights did not work but maintenance was prompt and repairs were made. A thunderstorm knocked out the power so the casino was down. We went back to the room and found water on the floor, Went to the front office and they switched us to another room. This room also had lighting problem and maintenance was called again and repairs made. We were told the breakfast buffet opened at 6:00 AM. Not so, it is only open on Fridays and Saturdays. We at lunch at the lunch buffet and it was horrible. We were told the pool and spa were now open, we changed into our suits and headed to the spa. It was hot but the blowers did not work so no bubbles, plus there were many small children in the spa, ages were from about 4-8 years old. Not a good experience and will not stay there again.
