I felt like I was staying with family. I was there for work and had to spend a lot of time doing admin. The chair and desk/table in the office didn’t work, the chair was too low however they have their breakfast tables downstairs that I could work at.

Excellent breakfasts every morning! they had turned their AC off and i had two days of +22°C which left the room very hot and stuffy in the evenings. But they did provide me with an extra fan for my room.

• Emma (2/5): Beautiful setting, but my stay was uncomfortable, noisy, and overpriced. - The location was beautiful and the owners were friendly and welcoming. Despite booking a pet-friendly room, it wasn’t ready for me—even four hours after check-in. The pet fee listed online as a $20 flat rate turned out to be $20 per day, and I was charged the higher fee despite pointing out the incorrect information. The bed was tiny, the bathroom had no door, and I was told there would be an extra person fee, which felt unreasonable for the space provided. The walls are extremely thin; I could hear everything in the surrounding rooms, which meant neither I nor my dog could relax or sleep. Breakfast wasn’t accommodating for vegetarians, and when I requested fruit, the portions were unreasonably small. I tried to cancel my third night after a terrible first night, but was told I would only get a 50% refund, supposedly due to Booking.com rules—however, I later discovered my booking was not processed through Booking.com, so this was untrue. On my last morning, dogs tied up outside my room barked continuously, waking me early. Overall, my relaxing weekend getaway turned into an exhausting, uncomfortable, and expensive stay.
