• Gary (10/5): - The room was clean and towels and linen changed every other day. The staff were amazing and helpful. We didn’t use the pool area as was up and out every morning. All in all it was a lovely hotel and everwhere for us was within walking distance. Having the supermarket next door was a plus, couple of minutes walk to the beachfront, cafes and bars.

Das Hotel ist schon älter, die Lage etwas zugebaut, aber die Zimmer neu renoviert und sauber. Ausstattung Küche dürfte etwas besser sein, aber man kommt zurecht. Uns hat es insgesamt für das was wir bezahlt haben, sehr gut gefallen. Wir hatten Selbsverpflegung, ein größerer Supermarkt ist gleich gegenüber.

Osa rannoista ravintoloiden vetämänä eli tuolit ja varjot veloituksetta, jos ostaa jotain ruokaa tai juomaa. Hotelli kävelymatkan päässä vanhasta kaupungista. Sijainti hyvä. Huone oli moderni, siisti ja puhdas, oikein kiva. Hotellin yleiset tilat myös. Aamiainen oli minusta runsas ja hyvä. Hotelli oli mielestäni perheenomainen majoitus. Uima-allas on pieni, mutta kiva lapsia ajatellen. Saavuin hotelliin yöllä vastaanoton ollessa suljettuna, sain erinomaiset yksityiskohtaiset ohjeet saapumiseen.

Très bon accueil, petit déjeuner correct. Chambre magnifique qui est en fait un joli appartement, calme et avec une très bonne literie. Allez à l’hôtel Eltina,vous ne serez pas déçu !!!
• 687lindseyb (10/5): Amazing place to stay - Stayed here whilst attending a family wedding at Agreco Farm recently. What a find! The apartment (210) was spacious, clean, tidy and well equipped, the air conditioning was incredibly efficient too. The sheets were changed every day and the towels every other day. A light, airy apartment with a balcony overlooking the pool. The pool was well maintained and had plenty of loungers, chairs and tables available at all times. The reception staff handed us a large bottle of water on arrival to take to our room, a very welcome treat after a day's travel in the heat. There's a good supermarket adjacent to the hotel and the hotel is located one street behind the seafront, meaning it's in a quieter environment than on the strip where all the bars and restaurants are located. The thing that stands out most at the Eltina hotel is the staff. It has a great family feel, and you know you're in a good place when the Greeks check in to the hotel on holiday too. All staff were friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful. We booked on a bed and breakfast basis and the breakfasts were fantastic with an incredible selection to choose from. I'd highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

• Georgia (8/5): - Supermarket is literally a few feet away across the street. Bus to town is handy you don’t have to drive and search for parking for hours. The girl at the front desk who checked us in is super amazing very welcoming and kind. The hotel only has 3 parking spots but you can locate spots on the street. They do give you a large bottle of water. We did stay a second night and the second room balcony was useless as it was in a tiny courtyard with dead plants on it. Across other balconies. So opt for a room with view however it was a cheap option for one extra night.

Very tasty, varied, and good breakfast items, well presented and fresh. Staff were very pleasant. The staff was very friendly and happy to answer questions. The breakfast was AMAZING, and I looked forward to it each morning. The laundry facilities were easy to use. Clean, spacious room with very comfortable bed and pillows. Cute cafe table and chairs on the balcony as well as a drying rack. One tiny drawback: the wifi was spotty in our room, and we had problems maintaining a connection. (It was fine in the lobby and at the pool.)

• Malene Falcham (8/5): Sommerferie 2022 - Dejligt hotel/lejlighedsværelse og meget venligt og imødekommende personale. Vi havde booket en af de store lejligheder og en mindre lejlighed. Den store lejlighed levede fint op til billeder, der var meget plads i opholdsstuen og et stor soveværelse og badeværelse. Jeg savnede dog hylder i klædeskab til tøj - der var kun en bøjlestang og to små skuffer. Det var anderledes i den mindre lejlighed, hvor der var fint med hyldeplads. Den store lejlighed havde to altaner - den mindre én. Morgenmad: et fint udvalg og lidt variation hver dag. Godt i forhold til græsk standard. Mulighed for at bestille lufthavnskørsel, som afregnes direkte med chauffør. Dejlig sandstrand to minutters gang fra hotellet. Pool ser større ud på billeder end den reelt er. Mange restauranter og barer i nærheden og et supermarked lige ved siden af hotellet. Det lille værelse lugtede lidt af mug/jordslået værelse 108, men ellers var vi meget tilfredse med vores ophold.

First we got one at the first floor but people could se everything we did. So we wanted to change. They were very helpful and fixed it for us. Fine breakfast kind staff and a clean swimmingpool.

• Sandra (8/5): - Trevlig familj som ägde hotellet. Mycket hjälpsamma med allt. Nyrenoverade och fina rum. Städningen var mindre bra. Smutsigt på golvet även efter städningen, tvål ej påfyllt. Hotellet ligger nära stranden. Tar ca 15 min att promenera in till Rethymnon stad. Frukosten var jätte bra. Poolen och poolområdet behövde fräschas upp.
• Emily (10/5): Wonderful! - Genuinely one of the best places I’ve stayed in. Close to beaches, restaurants, bars and a supermarket. It’s about a 30 minute walk from the hotel to the old town, but the walk along the waterfront is lovely, and there’s also a bus stop across the road which is super convenient (you can buy bus tickets directly from the hotel reception). I walked home alone late at night, and never felt unsafe in the area. It was, however, the staff that were the standout for me - they were so friendly and accommodating, and really made me feel welcome (especially as a solo female traveller) - they went above and beyond to make my stay truly memorable. I will definitely be returning!!
• thurin (2/5): Perfect for sensible prize - It is not so easy to write a helpful review, perfect hotel for someone could be the worst for onother one. But... Eltina Hotel is great for long stay, is located 100meters from the beach, next to supermarket but few kilometers from central bus stop, taxi costs 6-7 euros to get there. Atmosphere in the hotel is great, staff helpful and smiling. The room was cleaned every day. Hotel has an outside pool so You can relax in the water if you don't want to swim in the sea. Of course Eltina Hotel is not a five star hotel but is a really nice place. Room is equipped with a stove and oven , tableware so the guests can cook dishes by yourselves.
• SergePlunger (8/5): Oldie but goodie - It seems, the standard old-fashioned apartments, not new, but almost everything works. but the bathroom is new and much better than the kitchen and other furniture. the view in our room was not mentioned, because the balcony was at street level. the hotel is far from the Old Town, wide beaches and bus station. without a car you can use the local bus (ticket - 1 euro, you can buy at reception; but it rarely goes), or walk (30-40 minutes). we were traveling for one night. but I think that a young family can spend a vacation here without any pretensions - you can cook in the apartment. we booked for a day in the season, so although the choice was small, but the price / quality ratio is quite satisfactory. Recommended 👍

Aamiainen oli sekä aikuisten että lasten mieleen. Supermarket oli naapurissa ja rannalle lyhyt kävelymatka. Naapurustossa oli monia mukavia ravintoloita. Myös bussipysäkki oli lähellä, joten keskustaan matkustaminen oli helppoa ja edullista. Vastaanotosta sai ostaa bussilippuja. Se mikä erottaa Eltinan muista hotelleista oli kreetalaisittainkin erinomainen palvelu. Se oli pyyteettömän sydämellistä. Saimme mukaamme myös hyviä vinkkejä loppulomallemme, jonka vietimme etelärannikolla.

• 620bi (2/5): Terrible experience - For us it was a terrible experience in this hotel.We went on leave to relax, only that I had a real disappointment about the conditions offered by the accommodation.The pictures on the Booking com are just wonderful and not the terrible rooms.Old rooms do not appear on the site and exactly an old room I also received a lot of noise from cars running non-stop.I paid more for an old apartment, than for a new room.I spoke at the front desk and nothing changed for the better. We are very disappointed with this experience and I want to share with you this cruel reality. I do not understand why they do not put the pictures in the old rooms?! Disappointed by the hotel, the agency with those who bought this stay and Booking.

• Sébastien (10/5): Bel hôtel. - Appartement supérieur très bien, spacieux et belle décoration. Piscine pas très grande mais il y avait peu de personnes donc bien profité. Personnel très sympa et agréable, qui prend le temps de nous expliquer ce qu'il y a a visité dans les environs. Ils nous ont même prêté des jeux de plage laquelle se trouve au bout de la rue. Supermarché juste en face de l'hôtel. Très bien!

• Jonas (8/5): Trevligt litet hotell - Trevligt litet familjehotell. Stort engagemang och trevlig personal. Fina och modernt inredda superior-rum, med något begränsad köksutrustning. Nära till strand och restauranger, cirka 20 minuters promenad till gamla stan.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Отдых в Eltina - Проживал в данном апартотеле с 24.06.19 по 04.07.19. Был 2х комнатный улучшенный номер на 3 этаже с видом на магазин и боковым видом на море. В целом сам отель очень понравился - два балкона, хорошая, не убитая мебель, чисто, убирают каждый день, белье меняли раз в 2 дня, персонал приветливый (по вечерам на ресепшен рускоговорящая девушка Дана), хороший бассей, кондиционеры в каждой комнате. Есть достаточный на 4 набор посуды (по запросу могут дать доп), чайник, двухконфорочная панель, фен, сейф на ресепшен (не знаю платно или нет), кто не хочет платить за шезлонги на пляже, могу брать в гостинице пляжные зонты. В 1 шаге один из самых дешёвых (если так можно сказать) супермаркет SYNKA. Из небольших и не критичных для меня минусов: пыльные шторы, нет мокроволновки (есть мини духовой шкаф), нет стиралки в номере (общая на 1 этаже), нет утюга в номере (дают доску и утюг на ресепшен по запросу с возвратом), рядом идёт несколько строек (в целом не напрягает, просто эстетически не очень). В целом, с учётом цены 72 т.р. за 10 дней на 4х я апартаментами доволен на 9 из 10. По пляжу могу порекомендовать пляж напротив отеля Medusa, минут 5 налево от Eltina (8 евро за 2 лежака и зонт), там хороший вход в воду и не глубоко (удобном с детьми), можно даже немного поплавать при небольшом волнении моря (мне не повезло, 6 дней из 10 дней штормило). Из кафе рекомендую Medeterenian (по набережной 2 мин от Eltina), довольно вкусно и недорого (кафе рядом с eltina - Aris Mari не рекомендую).

• John (8/5): Good value for this grade of hotel. - Two minutes walk to beach and one minute to supermarket. Old town twenty five minute walk but hotel on bus route. Buses every twenty minutes. Hotel has a lift to upper floors. Greek style breakfast with eggs (3 ways), cold meats and cheese available. Also cereal, fresh fruit and yoghurt and some pastries and cake. Room clean and comfortable with modern en-suite. Limited car parking but free parking available in side street adjacent to hotel.
• rosscC9559UZ (10/5): Fantastic - I was here at the beginning of June for the week. The rooms are good enough for what you need them for. The hotel itself was great could not fault the staff or facilities. I think we went a little to early as the strip wasn’t that busy however this was well made up for from petros and Anthony in the bar. They had a great family style bbq to bring the groups in the hotel together. The food was great all round. We will definitely be back, if you can try the cheese and ham toasties. P.s Maria’s toasties are the better than petros’s 😉
• georgestratigis (6/5): An Urban Summer in Rethymno - Yes this option is definitely very very close to the beach.. i choose it because of the swimming pool, but i dont even try it because there's no sun after 15:00 and did look so interesting anyway.. i think it is expenssive even after the price bargain.. anyway, prices keep rising in Crete, the island becomes a Tourist Colony, so locals don't fit. "a summer manifest" Peace!
• Williamsellie12 (10/5): Girls holiday - Stayed in this hotel in August for our first girls holiday, I definitely recommend this hotel as you get everything you pay for, lovely friendly staff and the service was great, not to far from the strip and restaurants aswell I would definitely go again!!
• K3315OBliza (10/5): A fantastic little place - We loved our stay at Eltina Hotel. We'd asked for a 2 bed apartment and got 2 very spacious rooms, one being ensuite; 3 balconies; lovely high ceilings; a neat kitchen/dining/living space and tons of storage! It was spotlessly clean with crisp white bedding. The pool area was great esp for kids as inflatables were available to use. Staff were so helpful and kind during our stay, we were made to feel very welcome. Would definitely book again
• E2145QBchristopherk (8/5): A super experience! - I had a wonderfully stay at this hotel during August 2018. The location is ten minutes by bus from the centre of Rethynmo and two minutes walk to a pleasant beach with all the amenities you will need. The stand out factor for Eltina is that the staff are very friendly, welcoming, efficient and helpful. Our room, and all the spaces shared with other guests in the hotel are super clean and tidy which the staff work hard to achieve. The only reason I havn't given Eltina '5' stars is that the breakfast, though always enjoyable, could perhaps have offered a little more choice such as scrammbled as well as fried eggs, rather than fried or boiled and also more appetizing croissants.
• Johanna (8/5): - Fint och välskött hotell. Nyrenoverade lägenheter, bra poolområde. Mkt trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Ngt torftig grundutrustning i köket men bara att fråga personalen så ser de till att man får det man behöver.
• dimisky (10/5): It is worth it - I appreciated the fact that although the room wasn't really big, it was nice decorated, the furniture were modern and everything felt clean. It is located 5' away by car from the center. This hotel was quiet, the staff helpful and to sum up it was worth it the 46,5 euros/night.
• popescui286 (10/5): Enjoyable place and nice stuff - We seated there for two nights. The owners are germans and they are very nice and friendly. The hotel is one minute away from the beach and 2 km far away from Rethymno center. We could also use the wash machine there. It was very helpful.
• Evgeniya (10/5): Отель супер для своей цены и категории - Хочу поделиться прекрасными впечатлениями от Ретимно и от отеля!! Жили мы в номере с 1й спальней. Номер на 2м этаже 203. Мебель обычная, в хорошем состоянии. В спальне 2 односпальные кровати но они были сдвинуты и получилась большая 2я кровать. В большой комнате диван, который трансформируется в 2ю или 1ю кровать - не очень удобный, но терпимо. 2 балкона. Дали сушилку для вещей, утюг и доску. На кухне духовка, чайник и 2х комфорочная плита. Из утвари: 1 большая кастрюля, ковш, салатница. Ложек и вилок хватило. Есть небольшой но вместительный холодильник с морозилкой. Уборка через день, но бывало и реже. Полотенец давали много, белье чистое. Местоположение 2я линия, до пляжа 5 мин!! По скольку мы жили там месяц , то успели познакомиться с хозяевами и работниками. Прекрасные гостеприимные люди. На день рождения поставтли бутылку вина и фрукты. Рядом магазин с мясом, и плюс огромный супермаркет! Есть бассейн с лежаками. В целом было все прекрасно! Всем рекоммендую!!
• AnaL8599 (10/5): Apsolutely the right place to stay! - I have visited hotel Eltina in June 2017, it was one of the best parts of our holiday. An amazing staff with Dana, Irini, Nikitas, the owner and everyone from the family put all the energy and effort to make this hotel works for clients. The decoration of the hotel, every detail is carefully planed and arranged, very modern and new, latest trends, room acesorisses, children facilities, pool area, cleanliness, everything is perfectly planned just to make you stay feel comfortable and pleasant. Very good location, next to the beach, quiet, close to the city center, next to the supermarket. The breakfast is excellent. Overall service is perfect. They tried to help with any inquiries or questions, more than helpful. Very friendly and an amazing staff, they did everything to make our stay excellent, even more than we asked. They definitely made our whole holiday amazing! Absolutely great place to stay! We will definitely come again!
