• Valentina Cacciatori (8/5): Un piacevolissimo soggiorno nel centro di Modoca - Un bel B&B come un tempo, con il titolare ad accogliere e prendersi cura degli ospiti all'arrivo e durante la colazione. Camere ampie, ben arredate, è ben pulite. Buona anche la colazione. Si trova in un bellissimo palazzo storico sopra il corso principale di Modica, dove si può parcheggiare la macchina. Non si può arrivare pertanto direttamente alla struttura con i mezzi, occorre percorrere una scalinata, niente di proibitivo ma non lo consiglierei a chi ha problemi a camminare o necessità particolari. Modica è strategica per visitare tutta la zona circostante della Sicilia barocca e sicuramente consiglierei la struttura ha chi volesse passare qualche giorno in questa zona Un peccato solamente un po' di umidita' nell'aria, che si riflette su qualche parete della struttura.

Consiglio all’host di inviare un messaggio al momento della prenotazione per non entrare nel vicolo con l’auto (Google Maps rimanda a quello per entrare). Si tratta infatti di un vicolo molto stretto, se si percorre in auto, si arriva ad un punto in cui bisogna poi tornare indietro in retro marcia e la possibilità di graffiare l’auto é alta. Noi siamo stati avvisati da una persona che passava e abbiamo evitato il danno. Lo segnalano anche altri nelle recensioni, basta avvisare di parcheggiare dall’altro lato, sono pochi minuti a piedi

• francesca (9/5): - Dimora storica con atmosfera autentica. Stanze ampie e rinnovate. Letti molto comodi e pulizia molto accurata. Posizione ideale, nei pressi del corso principale ma in un vicolo tranquillo, a pochi passi dal capolinea trenino del barocco che porta comodamente a Modica Alta.

• Annica (3/5): Terrible beds, do not stay here! - Great location, clean, very spacious room and bathroom The beds are AWFUL, we had 2 rooms, we all slept very badly. The mattress is super hard, no bed toppers, also very narrow, maybe 80 cm or less, and short, maybe 190. Its possible the rooms w double beds are better. The style of the property feels like an old peoples home.

• BRIGITTE (7/5): - L accueil, la grandeur de la chambre et salle de bain. L emplacement compliqué pour arriver en voiture et il faut une petite voiture ou prendre des escaliers. Car la ville de Modica est spécialement faite. Pas de terrasse ou balcon dans cette belle grande maison.

Buona la colazione con prodotti del territorio. Molto gentile l'host. La struttura ha un po' i segni del tempo, con una certa patina che a qualcuno potrebbe far storcere il naso ... non a noi.

• Giulia (10/5): Consigliatissimo! - Struttura bellissima, nel pieno centro storico di Modica, e curata in ogni minimo dettaglio. La stanza grande, pulita, bella e dotata di tutte le comodità. Giovanni gentilissimo, siamo arrivati prima dell'orario previsto per il check in (per nostra svista senza avvisare con molto anticipo) ed è stato disponibile ad accoglierci. Menzione finale per la colazione: buonissima nella cucina storica del palazzo, con prodotti tipici di Modica! Nulla :)

• Josephine (9/5): Amazing find in the centre of Modica - worth a visit! - So beautiful this little gem of a hotel is tucked away right in the heart of Modica. The rooms are amazing, the owner very accommodating and friendly (he let us check in a good few hrs earlier than stated) and we had a wonderful breakfast there. It’s a stunning building and our room even had a balcony overlooking the town. Our ceilings had murials on which the owner had preserved through glass ceilings and it just added to the authenticity for our first night in Sicily. Not the properties fault but there a LOT of stairs to climb to reach the hotel which with suitcases needs some awareness if you find mobility difficult.

• Martin (8/5): A fine property and superlative service - thanks - Exemplary a good selection of well prepared breakfast foods My wife injured her knee (nothing to do with the property), and this meant that stairs were suddenly a real difficulty for her. The owner of the Modica property was very understanding and offered a room which was much better for my wife’s needs. Their help and understanding with a guests problem was greatly appreciated.

• Funda (10/5): Excellent choice - Location of the property is excellent, 10 min walk from the train station and walking distance to the centre and good restaurants. The room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. There is a coffee machine in the room. We went for the breakfast option which was so atmospheric to sit in a Sicilian kitchen and have coffee and have a lovely chat with the owner. Nothing, it was all good.

• Heather (8/5): Very good - The bedroom was very chic, but cosy. Very clean and had everything you needed. The breakfast is simple and basic but very good for on the go. Make sure there are water bottles to welcome to hydrate the guest.
