- Verified traveler (6/5): - Locatie was prima. De kamer is ruim en netjes onderhouden. Weinig stopcontacten in de kamer. De lobby, restaurant en winkels kunnen wel een upgrade gebruiken. Winkels in de lobby staan leeg of zijn fast food restaurants. Check-in is pas om 15 uur. Hotel wordt ook gebruikt door groepen contract-arbeiders die hun take-way maaltijden met veel alcohol in het restaurant gebruiken.

- Verified traveler (6/5): - The property is in need of reparation. For the amount one pays per night, simple maintenance should not be overlooked. The name suggests a high-end hotel, which did not live up to my expectations. There are cheaper hotels in better state. Also, staying there for 10 nights, only 2 small bottles of water were shared, no perks of any kind.

Breakfast was included in my package but i was unable to partake due to the the quality or insufficient amount prepared. I ordered dinner the first evening but was unable to eat it since what was advertised on the menu and ordered was not delivered. No soap was provuded on two of the days, even when asked. I will not recommend this property to anyone especially at the prices advertised

- Verified traveler (4/5): - Very disappointed with the facility. Assigned a room with a shower stall that had no door, resulting in water all over the floor when showering. When I complained, maintenance said that the door broke and there was no replacement. I had to tolerate this for my 8-day stay. The floor was dirty and needed mopping which never happened. Only one luggage cart for the entire hotel and no bell support. Quite a challenge and long wait to get THE luggage cart to transport luggage to the room. I don't think I will ever stay at this hotel again.

La petite piscine n'est ouverte que de 11 à 17 heures donc, lorsque vous rentrez en soirée, vous ne pouvez pas vous baigner. Pas de changement dans le menu du PDJ. Fenêtre de chambre ne se ferme pas bien donc un peu bruyant car il est en centre ville. Le personnel est super.

Service was verder prima kamer was schoon maar alles is een beetje vervallen de airco lekte en het bed was doorweekt. Gordijnen hangen los van de haakjes. Een beetje onnodig lullig allemaal. Bij het ontbijt is bijna alles op ook als je al om 9 uur komt. Omdat we aankwamen mochten we later uitchecken. Dat was perfect.

- Geoff (4/5): Convenient to downtown shopping - It was very difficult to get basic amenities such as towels - face, hand, and bath towels. Had to ask every day in order to get a set of towels. Sometimes you asked and still did not get them. Hotel is poorly maintained. When you take a shower water leaks through the sliding doors and on to the floor. Air condition gave the room a stale, damp, moldy odor and had to open the doors to the balcony to get some fresh air.

Demoramos 1 hora e 40 minutos no trajeto do aeroporto ao hotel, ao chegar no hotel fui recepcionada por um atendente super simpático, porém ele me passou para uma moça que não conseguia localizar a minha reserva, eu mandou eu sentar para aguardar, passado 40 minutos fui até o balcão e outr atendente me disse que a minha reserva não existia e que não podia fazer nada, pedi pra eles entrarem contato com o expedia, mas ele disse que não podia. Até que enfim pedi um documento dizendo que não tinha localizado a minha reserva ele misteriosamente achou e acomodou a gente no quarto. Ficamos cerca de uma hora e meia pra poder ser acomodados

Zeer Prettig vond ik de mogelijkheid om de gehuurde auto kosteloos te kunnen parkeren is een uitkomst en bied vrijheid. Personeel is aardig, behulpzaam en denkt mee opzoek naar mogelijke oplossingen.

Ruime kamer met ruime bedden, balkon met mooi uitzicht over de stad, heerlijke regenkop douche, groot tv scherm, en lekker ontbijt met een zeer gevarieerde keuze uit zoet en hartig, op het dakterras bij het mooie zwembad. Zeer behulpzaam personeel.

Il n'y a pas de bruit et ce malgré sa situation en pleine ville, ce qui en fait son principal atout. Le personnel reste à votre disposition et très attentif à toutes vos questions. Seul bémol, le petit déjeuner reste à désirer et n'a pas correspondu à nos attentes.

- Marc (4/5): - établissement méritant un sérieux rafraichissement. le petit déjeuné reste à améliorer... :( l'insonorisation des chambre est juste inexistant réveillé durant les 2 jours à 5h30 par des clients discutant normalement dans les couloirs, sans parler des portes communicantes dont sont dotés toutes les chambres!!! Juste ahurissant !!! Le confort du lit est plus que médiocre (similaire à un tatami) les oreillers tout aussi inconfortable. Néanmoins un petit souci de clim dont s'écoulait une marre d'eau, qui fût réparé dans l'heure et cela à 23h très belle performance pour cet établissement!! Seul petit réconfort j'ai bu la meilleur Pinacolada qui m'ait été donné de boire!!!

- GUSTAVO (8/5): Boa instalaçoes - HOtel bem localizado e com boa estrutura. Cafe da manha gostoso. O unico problema foi o transfer. Cheguei no aeroporto as 1am mas só saimos depois das 2am porque tivemos que esperar outras pessoas, então cheguei no hotel as 3am and the shuttle para voltar para o aerporto saia as 7am (muito cedo pois o meu voo era somente as 11:15am). Perguntei se não tinha como sair mais tarde pois eu não dormiria nem 3h se saisse essse horario e falaram que nao tinha o que se fazer. Resumindo, cheguei poderia ter dormido mas cedo e acordado mais tarde e não pude. Fiquei 3,5 hora no aeroporto esperando para embarcar. Isso não foi nada agradável.

It is walking distance to almost every points of interest in Paramaribo. The hotel offered most of the need of the general guest. Almost all the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. Our experience in staying at the hotel has been very positive and we will definitely return to this hotel.

- stay away (2/5): don't book this hotel - the hotel is perfectly located and has a great pool. the hotel staff is very unfriendly and room cleaning will clean out your room. I had money stolen from my room and when we told the hotel management they stated they would look into this. Then their story changed 4 different times in regards to the security cameras. They told us they had all entrees to the room on camera but after we filed a police report and the police told us that this was common in that hotel, the hotel management team stated that the cameras where of during that time. when the police came to the hotel they said they had the camera images but needed a warrent before they would allow the police to check. thebfact that the hotel itself did not do any verification is suspicious. after we filed the police report the hotel staff actually became hostile. any question was to much and we where told to sit it out. clearly they did not like a police report and potentially reviewing the images would oncover a lot of shady activity that goes on in the hotel. I also stayed a couple of nights at the marriot which was awesome with great service and staff but the krasnapolsky will never see me of my family again...

- Janet (10/5): Perfect location - The Krasnapolsky is a landmark hotel in Paramaribo. In the middle of downtown, rooms with balconys, wonderful staff, nice breakfast, good wifi, and generally a lovely place.
- Renee (8/5): Good deal - Service was excellent, but room was not that clean - there were small hairs and dirt on the floor. Also, there were not many lights in the room so it was kind of dark once the sun set. But, otherwise, a good deal for the price, and it was super easy to arrange a shuttle to the airport through the hotel! Breakfast was included, but because my shuttle left before the breakfast hour started, they put it in a to-go box for me. Very thoughtful service.
- Roman (6/5): Good hotel but bad service. - In one side, the room is Ok and the hall and the pool are very nice. In the other side, the service is not so good: We payed for a 3 people room, but we had only 2 of everything (towels, shampoo, gel, coffees, glasses, ...). We asked for a 3rd unit of everything, and they said that everything is standard (2 units per room). We only obtained 1 extra towel (after the 2nd time we asked). The gym, the pool and the poolbar is open only till 6pm (it's too early). The breakfast is simple and when something is finished, they take around 10-15 minutes in replace it.

- Rita (4/5): Hotel in the city - The room smells moldy. The bedhead was peeling and falls on the pillow. The bed was not soft, matras needed cushioning and the sheets doesnt smell good. Breakfast doesnt have much choices. We skipped it after the 1st day. Parking for rental was convenient.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Love my stay - I usually stay here when I come on business. It's in the heart of the city and everything is available from the location. My only issue was the wifi wasn't all that stable, but I won't really blame the hotel from experience in other South American countries it seems the Internet on a whole is very slow and drops off at times, that and the elevator was very shaky at times. Other than that the hotel was great as always

- Esther (6/5): Downtown niceness - I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. I was travelling overland from Guyana and the ferry service didn't work on the day I was supposed to check in and the very friendly staff cancelled my reservation on the very night and I was able to book again for the next day without any extra fees. When I got there every member of staff I interacted with was friendly and eager to assist. the room was well laid out and comfy. However, there is need for some maintenance work and the provision of some electrical outlets or adapters which can handle three prong plugs this restricted my use of my laptop.

- Martin (8/5): A Gem in Suriname - This was our first time staying at this hotel and we have no regrets. The location is ideal as it is at the center of everything and if you are driving the complimentary free parking which is available is a cherry on top. So after parking we checked in and went to our rooms, the rooms are large and most of all clean. My friend hand a single bed and given the size of the room needed some more furniture (recommendation for the hotel). The bath was large and again clean with all the necessary amenities. Most of all for anyone planning on staying at the hotel the level of customer service is top notch. What was even more impressive we were checking out early in the AM and could not make breakfast the team/hotel made arrangement for us to have a small box of stuff available for us given our check out time - way to go Krasnapolsky.

- Nance (8/5): Good city hotel, centrally located - The hotel; was nice. Airport shuttle was awesome. Right on time. Room was clean. Small shower, but hot water was heavenly. Nice view of the city also. Nice bed. Breakfast was decent. Since Suriname is known for it's wide variety in cuisine,you can have a different options close by. Nice pool to cool off, not very big though. All in all very nice stay.
