Volha (8/5): A clean and comfortable place with an excellent location near Longwood Gardens. - Very clean and well maintained property in a great location, especially for visiting Longwood Gardens. The room was modern, comfortable, and everything looked new and organized. The self check in process was convenient, and after a quick phone call the host helped resolve the issue with the access code very quickly. The TV was not working because it could not connect to Wi Fi, and the breakfast options were very limited.

The room across the hall was filled with people who were loud, in and the door constantly, and were all men. I looked out at the balcony briefly and as I closed the door, I heard something being commented, again by a male. Not recommended for Solo Female travelers. I felt like I made a reservation at a frat house rather than a hotel. See above

marie (3/5): - The hotel has no staff present. You get a code for the front door and room. However, there is a number to call in which the young lady, Alexjandra, was very pleasant. Upon conversation with her, I asked what time was breakfast. They stopped breakfast the day before our arrival. We were offered to go to their sister hotel about five minutes away for breakfast. Although this was inconvenient, we went because we were traveling on a tight budget and did not have extra money for food. I would have liked the hotel to have called me prior to arrival to let me know and give me some options. The hotel is not ADA friendly. There is a set of steps up to the front door and no elevator to the second floor. Our room was small but clean. We declined housekeeping since we were there only two nights. However, it was extremely difficult to get extra towels. I didn't like the fact there was no one physically at the hotel. I didn't like that I wasn't notified they were no longer providing breakfast.

Susan (7/5): There were issues.... but overall I liked it. - The location was terrific because I was going to the Brandywine Museum. My room had a balcony which overlooked a field and trees. That was lovely! The clerk was very nice, when he was there. The room was comfortable with its king size bed, kitchenette, balcony, TV, armchair, and storage. Well-equipped. The breakfast was poor - basically just carbs other than boiled eggs - and almost everything was sweet - not great for someone who doesn't eat sugar. The kitchenette was nice to have but not well-equipped. There was only one fork, a dessert fork. There was no dish towel, though a note said to ask for one, the clerk had no idea what I was talking about. The room was very dimly lit. The clerk was kind enough to bring an extra lamp, though the plus didn't work, so we needed an extension chord to get it to work. The room has seen better days, needs a paint job and an upgrade in decorations. They had done some work, but hadn't removed the wood panel which perhaps held the TV? The bathtub/shower was clean, but the water took about 15 minutes to drain after I was finished showering. The light by the door to the room didn't work, and the clerk wasn't able to find a bulb to fit it. There was no way to dry the dishes and no drying rack (and no room for one), so using the dishes was challenging. The clerk was only there a few hours/day. There was a phone number to call him and he was very responsive, but it would have been helpful to have someone at the front desk more often. The water in the kitchen sink didn't get warm, making it even harder to do the dishes well! The fridge was set so cold, my bread froze! I have said so many things which were problematic, but, despite all that, I enjoyed my stay very much. It was quiet, clean enough, well-equipped for the most part, and the location was great. The clerk was friendly and as helpful as he could be. I would stay there again because the price is good, but I hope they're able to fix the issues I discovered during my stay.

Our only complaint was in the bathroom: the tub drained so slowly, we had to stand in 6 inches of water to shower. The bathroom sink could use a new screen/filter on the faucet. But overall, we would love to come back sometime soon.

Elizabeth (7/5): Disappointing dark and spartan. - The place was clean and the bed was OK. The wifi was adequate. This motel looks better than it was. We never saw a single person during our entire stay. We received an e-mail with a code to open the main door, our room number and the code to open that door too. When we left there was a pad of paper on which to write our name and room number to let someone know we had checked out. The room itself was very dark. Only one side of the bed had a bed stand and reading lamp. It was difficult to get to the other side of the bed because a chair was between the bed and the wall. There was no place to put our suitcase so we could open it. The room came with a kitchenette but there was almost no flatware. There were no plastic cups for the bathroom but the sink stand was too small to put anything on it anyway. The toilet seat was broken. The breakfast area was so small that only one person could get breakfast at a time.

The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is all though it looked clean on the surface it really wasn’t the vent in the bathroom was dusty same as the Ac vents. The curtains haven’t been cleaned in a while too. I would definitely stay here again I just hope they read this a do some deeper cleaning in their rooms.

Teresa (8/5): - This hotel has the weird concept of no one on staff. (They do have a number to call in case anything comes up.) The room was nice & it even has a little kitchen. I am a light sleeper and my room was kind of close to the front door, but the price was right. They do also provide some breakfast muffins and pastries.

Richard (1/5): This place was so below motel standards, my wife and I could not stay there a second night. I cancelled the second night - The mattress was amazing. It lacked certain amenities. I would not classify this property as having suites, it was one room with a small kitchen area. It was not ADA compliant, no elevator! The water from the bathroom sink had a foul odor and taste. The toilet tank lid did not fit properly. There was only 1 bedside table and lamp, no leisure chair, no phone in the room, odd placement of furniture, no luggage rack for a suitcase and no staff available overnight.

Sara (8/5): Location, location, location and price - All communication was very responsive, but totally remote. The experience was kind of like Air B&B meet hotel - no front desk, no on site personnel, no gardens, no ice skating. However, it was close to Longwood Gardens. The room was clean, convenient, and well appointed. The price was AMAZING. The continental breakfast was adequate. I would book again for the location and price.

Paul (3/5): It was not good so we didn't stay the second night we booked. - The shower was good using codes to get in was easy and the ease of contacting the hotel was good that's about it. We booked a queen and got a double bed. The room had human hair left be hind by prior guests. We were supposed to be on the first floor and they put us on the second with no elevators.
Iconic (8/5): - Location and breakfast were good, and communication via text was good. Older facilities that need upgrading. Never met any staff at all.

Mike (9/5): We were visiting for a week and we enjoyed our stay very much. - The location is perfect for us. We really enjoy sitting out at night . We had some trouble with the door lock for the room.

Julie (8/5): - It was ok for a night. The room had a bit of an odor, probably residual cooking smells. The toilet paper holder was broken and there was a large hole in the screen door. But the balcony was nice and the space was reasonably comfortable.
Frank (10/5): - The room was very clean when we arrived. The air conditioning unit was quite noisy but it was the typical through the wall type unit that most hotels have and that’s they are. Nice kitchen area was a plus with full size fridge.
