- Saraad (8/5): Very good -
- Ralf (8/5): The rooms are worth the money. Restaurant offers nice food for fair price. No alcohol served! - Rooms have modern equipment: shower was excellent. Bathroom was spacious.
Bed was large king size with very good box spring bed mattress.
Hotel is absolutely clean. You can eat from the floor.
Breakfast is sufficient and okay but not excellent. There is buffet.
The nearby restaurant of the hotel is just 10 meters next door. Meals are many and portions very large. Prices are fair! Pepper steak for 650 shilling! With Pommes! Wifi is strong and stable.
Balcony is large to sit outside. We did not have a nice few. But not stinking and at night very calm. Certainly there is an elevator.
Stuff is well organized and professional. They react fast.
Booking per telephone is much cheaper!! Well, they don’t have a swimming pool. No garden to sit outside. And no air conditioning. But rooms was cool.
- Ali (8/5): Very good - The staff are super helpful, the location is just perfect for the boat game ride, and the facilities are simple, comfortable, and clean
- Celso (10/5): We stay for a night only but the staff was really helpful and made us feel welcome. - The receptionist was really kind and helpful.
The room nice and clean and great location in the middle of the city First floor room was unfortunately noisy due to the proximity of the dining area.
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional - The variety and quality of the buffet was exceptional
- Quinter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gautam (8/5): Very good hotel in Nakuru, perhaps the best in town, very helpful staff - Good filling breakfast
- Charles (10/5): Exceptional - The room was nice and spacious, they were kind enough to add an extra bed for my daughter. The food was amazing. The check in and check out process was smooth. I'll be back for sure. My stay was short
- David (8/5): Very good - Central with basement parking, although quite narrow. Generally well maintained inside. Breakfast was good.
Bathroom with nice facilities but not always hot water Mattress was way too soft in general and partly unusable.
Whole place smells sausage from neighbouring restaurant i guess
- Laura (7/5): Good place to stay short term - Nice for the price and good breakfast
- Tim (8/5): Very good -
- Alejandro (5/5): Old Hotel, Rooms very hot and smelly - Friendly reception - Friendly reception people. The room with no A/C and no fan. Very noise. Smelly.
- Patience (9/5): Superb -
- Iris-dorothee (9/5): All over it was a very good stay at this hotel and I would recommend it. - The rooms are very modern, spacious and clean.
Also the bathroom and balcony are very luxurious.
All of the staff was very nice and caring. They even arranged for us to get a breakfast to go, because we had to check out early.
The food in the restaurant was delicious and also the staff very considerate and friendly. There wad no mosquito net in the room or any protective door between the balcony door and the room in case you want to sleep with a little bit fresh air. So maybe it’s possible to adjust this issue for the room.
- May (8/5): Very good -
- Manuel (7/5): Good - Location
Room set up is good.
Quiet room Parking in the basement has no stair link to the hotel lobby
- Neeta (7/5): Good -
- Jack (9/5): Comfortable stay in Nakuru centre - Eagle Palace is a business hotel with properly equipped rooms and it matched our expectations for a hotel in the centre of the city. The staff is friendly and helpful. They even sent my wife a leather jacket which she had forgotten back to Nairobi. They were kind enough to give us rooms close to each other. The breakfast is served as a buffet with mainly local food. A neighboring restaurant is most convenient for quick and plentiful dishes (no alcohol is served). The car parking is pitch dark and should definitely be improved for ease of access and movement. The watchmen are quite helpful and should be commended for their good service. The hotel is focused on business guests familiar with Nakuru rather than tourists and does not boast any information material to inform guests about the city such as maps or brochures to provide information on local sights and local agencies for making visits. It would be nice to get some general information upon arrival to guide first time visitors.
- Elisa (8/5): Very good -
- Duncan (8/5): Very good -
- Andrea (7/5): Central and comfortable - Very centrally located, recently refurbished. Cozy and spacious rooms, comfortable beds well functioning shower. Parking available. A good stay overall The breakfast can be improved in terms of variety of what is being offered. Filtered coffee would be a plus. We heard some noise in the morning like renovation works, starting from around 7am. Most TV channels are blurred and the wifi was rather weak in our rooms. Still a good stay though
- Tilak (6/5): Pleasant and worth the journey - Restaurant staff are absolutely lovely, and willing to make you whatever for breakfast :) Charged twice by hotel and it's been difficult and onerous trying to contact them
- Vicky (9/5): Superb -
- Musabyemungu (8/5): Very good -
- Victor (10/5): Exceptional - Very good family room,clean.
Prompt and friendly staff.
The food is good and fairly priced. There was a nearby club across the street that played loud music almost the entire night.
- Larry (8/5): Very good -
- Mwendwa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ben (7/5): Good -
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - Breakfast Great. Rooms great.
- Alessandro (7/5): Good -
- Naomi (7/5): Good -
- Rolf (8/5): Very good - The rich breakfast with friendly service. The experienced receptionists for check in and out. The location in Nakuru downtown is truly a quiet place at night. The warm water in the bathroom required long time flushing the cold water until hot was available.
- Rolf (8/5): Arrive and feel welcome - Check in and out.
The quiet room
The nice breakfast Water to shower had to flush 15minutes and longer to become reasonable warm.
- Suleiman (9/5): Superb - central location and good value for money
- Irungu (8/5): My stay was excellent and value for money - I like the room was spacious and clean. Provide bathrobes
- Divine (6/5): best value for money - the rooms are comfortable and the staff are professional. the location is noisy
- Lynora (8/5): Wonderful people, very nice place. - The staff bent over backwards to accommodate our every need. The food was excellent and when the hotel restaurant wasn't open, a hotel-owned restaurant next door had excellent food. The difficult thing about getting a 4 star rating in Nakuru, Kenya, is that the area is subject to frequent power outages and the internet service simply isn't the best. I wish this property didn't have to deal with these inconveniences because everything else was superb.
