Guest Reviews
- MICHAEL (10/5): - Very convenient to the boardwalk and easy parking
- Lester (8/5): - It was a nice place to stay-very close to the beach. The man at the desk was friendly, helpful and responsive to the few needs we had. My wife always enjoys a stay in Seaside Heights but room rentals are always a little dicey, especially if you don’t want to spend a fortune. This was great for us at a decent place.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Absolutely never again - The front desk was rude, the comforter had an unknown substance on it. The sheets looked reused and unwashed. The pullout couch looked like a cat had scratched at it for weeks. There was what looked to be a junior mint candy squished on the floor. The bathroom had a small hole in the door. The water barely got warm. I booked a double bed room and got a single king that sagged in the middle. And the room itself just smelled awful. Would NOT recommend. The best part was how close to the boardwalk it was and for some people who like jersey shore, the shore house is right across the street.
- David (8/5): - Don’t know about the motel part itself but the apartments are newer and more updated. Pretty clean and roomy. Right across the street from the boardwalk.I would stay again
- Manuel (6/5): - Please fix the bathrooms toilet first of all for one night it’s ok but for a long stay no recommend
- Fotini (8/5): - Property great location.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Four Winds was as advertised. It was a busy summer weekend while we were there, so it was busy at the Motel!
- Paula (2/5): - I stayed for a weekend and got bed bug bites. I demand a refund.
- Peter (4/5): - They had no heat or hot water.
- Odalou (2/5): I will never go there again - I was charged more and I had to pay some nonsense fee. I was very disappointed
- Yajaira (10/5): - everything was good except for the pool was kind of dirty
- Mr (4/5): - Paid over $200 for 1 night and it was not worth the money. The lock on door was bad, hair on the pillows, channels on tv was very poor, window and above window was rotted, not enough power outlets, and most knobs on the dresser was missing. I’m very disappointed in that property and I will never return
- Verified traveler (2/5): manager needs to be let go - worst manager of all time wanted to kick out a group before me it was ridiculous and no parking if it gets too full he says u have to pay to park on the street than not my problem. cut off our water in the am too threatened to call the cops on this one couple and didnt even let them stay in the room. i will never stay here again he walked me up to my room n stayed in there a while being weird af and stalked me to my car at checkout when i still had hours to checkout was asking what i was doing everytime i moved
- Chris (10/5): - We stayed in one of the apartments it was very nice and clean I would definitely stay there again
- Julian (6/5): - The closeness to the boardwalk and beach.
- Rita (2/5): - There were 3 positive things about this place, location to boardwalk and they had an awesome ice machine, and it included a beach pass. Otherwise it was very outdated, broken things in the apartment , water came in from the rain, we had to throw our own garbage out and go get new towels.
- Lillian (8/5): - close to boardwalk/ great parking/ nice pool / people very nice that own it/ beds a little hard/ over all for the shore nice place to stay
- April (8/5): - Very close to the beach. Nothing fancy, dated but clean and quiet
- candy (10/5): - That was the best stay, the manager or owner, hes so nice, the pool so good, everything was clean and is so close to the boardwalk and the beach too. I recommended
- Taasha (8/5): - Good for the value and location
- Jonathan (6/5): - The staff
- Michelle (10/5): - Owner so nice and friendly very accommodating steps from beach
- Yesenia (2/5): - The condition of my room was definitely disappointing, there was sand in a corner behind door, floor was filthy, I even asked for a broom to sweep the entire room, bed covers smelled like urine, underneath covers we could feel the sand, let me make it clear, this was on the first night, we hadn’t even gone to the beach or walking on the sand. Window blinds were broken and I felt like we had no privacy. There seem to be no daily maintenance for the pool. On the day of my check out, owner/manager wanted to charge me $50 extra, claiming that we had broken the window blinds. Would never recommend this motel to anyone.
- Angela (2/5): - Stay away is all I can say. I recently booked a room for the weekend in the month 8/21 for a weekend wedding. Moldy dirty in room and outside the surrounding of hotel. Very very Rude management..
- Stacey (8/5): - It was real close to boardwalk and you had parking Motel itself needs
- Ryan (4/5): Grungy - Very old and grungy place. Lots of smokers and butts all over the place. A lot of trash around. Soft springy bed. I booked 1 king bed but apparently they don’t have king beds so we ended up with 2 doubles but I think they were actually queens. The pool water seemed clean but the concrete floor is all chipped. It is close to beach and boardwalk but Seaside is not a good place for families, I would not go back.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It was ok
- Verified traveler (2/5): - There was significant black mold all along the bottom of the shower curtain and edges. It was the worst motel room I’ve ever been in.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - To be honest the manager was the nice part. We didnt even stay for the nights we paid. It really needs to be updated. There was bags of garage in between floors, the room was ok but the beds were uncomfortable when we laid on them for a nap, the tv stand had a broken door and we didnt feel safe
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The price was a little high for the quality of the hotel, but it was in a great location right next to the boardwalk also right across the St from the jersey shore house!! The staff was friendly we enjoyed our stay there but the price was steep but I guess that's the shore prices....
- norman (2/5): Don't stay there - Hotel front desk very rude. took long time to resolve my issue with the room.
- Brianna (10/5): - Very convenient location. Nice for a weekend get away
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Check in at 4, couldn’t check in until around 6:30 because the room wasn’t clean yet, manager was unhelpful
Pool was disgusting
Cigarette holes in bed sheet
2 minute walk to beach though
- Verified traveler (2/5): - First of all, I just want to say this was by far the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever been to. As soon as we walked into our room there was a disgusting smell that Febreze couldn’t even take away. Literally everything was super dirty, i wouldn’t understand why a $234 room was so dirty to the point where myself as a guest had to clean it before bringing my belongings into the room. About 1:30am while I was half asleep, I felt myself getting bit by something. And of course as a normal person would, I flashed my light my phone and had to kill a bed bug. Shortly after that, another one appeared. As I proceeded to sleep in the other bed that was not being used, 4:30am I was woken up by another guest who was drunk and super loud. The walls are literally like paper, you can hear everything on the other side. This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I paid $234 for one night since it was a Saturday night and it was booked last minute, which was not a big deal but since I am spending such a large amount of money you would think they could’ve at least wiped things down or perhaps warned me about the bed bugs. Honestly, don’t even waste your time, it was literally disgusting.
- Ivan (6/5): - Great location and nice hotel for the price, great for a weekend stay
- Matt (8/5): - Ok. No ice machine. Older motel in a great location room was clean. No king size bed
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It was a solid 2 star hotel. Greatest feature is its closeness to the boardwalk.
- Tweet (4/5): - The only thing I liked about staying at the four winds is that the motel was right across from the boardwalk
- Debbie (6/5): - Loved the proximity to the board walk... rooms could have been a little nicer for the price. The way they are now they really are 60.00 a nite rooms at best ... left my iPhone charger there and went back and it was gone obviously they don’t have honest workers who turn stuff in.
- Erick (4/5): Sandy bed comforters - Owner need to invest more on furnisure. And bed covers.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Going downhill - This place was filthy and front desk was always high.
- Meghan (6/5): What the heck happened since last year? - When we arrived, the one guy who works there was definitely on drugs. Took 35 mins to check me in because he kept falling asleep and smacking his head on the computer. The room was eh. Could have atleast washed the floors. Smelled like old cigarettes. Blood on the door way. Employees yelling at each other in front of guests. Police showing up. Employees that live there nodding off in front of their rooms.. Asked 6 times for the sheets to get changed and that never happened.. the pool was only skimmed because I did it..etc.. this place went downhill a lot since last year.. every year there’s new owners. Maybe next year will be better but we were very disappointed.
- Bibi (2/5): - First and last time here !dirty dirty dirty
Lady and the guy working on the reception very nice
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Absolutely Disgusting. This is by far the worse motel I have have ever seen. I can't even say that it is the worse motel that I have stayed at because we left immediately after checking in. The rooms were filthy. Urine in the toilet with a cigarette butt floating in it (non-smoking facility). Bath towles stained, comforter and sheets stained, long black hairs ontop of the sheet. The smell of mold, mildew and cigarette smoke overwhelming, I could barely breathe. No screens in the windows so i could not even air the room out. Walls stained and paint chipping, floors visibly dirty and door frame and lock looks as if it has been broken into a few times. We were on the 4th floor with an elevator that was out of order, people sitting outside their rooms (obvious that they lived there) smoking and drinking (agaim this is a "smoke free" facility). We complained to an employee, who was smoking and he states that "guests aren't supposed to smoke but hey, even I do" he offered us a different room which was in the same condition as the original. By then I felt dizzy and nauseous from the air quality and there was no way i was sleeping in that bed. Room non-refundable. I cut my loss and found another motel near by that was habitable for the next 2 nights. Do not stay at this hotel. EVER.
- Kenron (2/5): - Sand in beds indicated sheets were not changed; sand in shower, food on floor in kitchen, hair in bathroom, smelled bad; no maid service.
- Donna (2/5): Stay away - This was the worst hotel I have ever stay in. Rooms were very dirty. It was not clean at all. AC was leaking a lot on the floor they never came up to fix it . My ceiling started leaking they had to change our room. Tv didn’t work, very dirty no towels , no toilet paper. The manager was very rude person . Pool was never cleaned. Walls , doors had holes in it. Stay away from this hotel!
- Jakeema (2/5): - The property management is racist and didn’t honor my booking because of my skin color. He called me the same before my reservation to confirm my booking and the next day I arrived early before check in and he told me he gave my room to someone else and there was no rooms left. I asked him why didn’t he notify me and why confirm my booking just to book someone else. I was so nasty and rude. The facility looks nothing like the pictures they must be really old.
- Joana (10/5): Close to everything - It was clean overall so we didnt have any problems. The towels were stained but everything else was great! The guy who checked us in was super nice and informative. I would definitely stay here again just bring my own towels to shower next time :)
- Randell (2/5): Stay away, further away - There was no water and no one was manning the office, there was a sign on the door to call a number that no one ever answered. One of the beds was broken and there were lots of holes in the wall from an unfinished project? I don't know but the only good thing is that it's across from the boardwalk so... if you want to be close and not at all comfortable go for it.
We didn't even stay I was so disgusted.
- Robin (2/5): Awful - Terrible. Way way overpriced. Website advertised use of pool, The pool was filthy and unuseable. There was no housekeeping. Outlets did not work. Shower and sink drains were very slow to drain,The owner was rude. I stayed there last year at the same time with different owners and it was great. Will not stay there again.
