Guest Reviews
- corey (8/5): My Go To Place - This place has always been my go to when I visit my daughter & her family. This time I was told it changed ownership. I hope it doesn't change too much. I like it bc it's clean , friendly, & I can take my ESA dog for free.
- Montana (8/5): - Staff were all very sweet and helpful. They were very welcoming at all times. The room was clean and comfortable. :)
- Freddy (10/5): - We always love staying here bc of the friendly staff and great service
- Brandie (10/5): Perfect - This place is always accommodating A++
- Eileen (4/5): - We did not stay due to the fact that there was a $100.00 deposit that we were unaware of.
- Tim (10/5): - The only bad part was that my room had a door to front office ..so was awoken sevral times while trying to sleep by loud talking ...you literally can hear everything that is said at the front desk..
- Verified traveler (10/5): Limpio, parqueo para camiones - Habitaciones limpias, parqueo para camiones, personal amable en recepcion!
- Douglas (8/5): - could use a little cleaning on the outside
- Jessica (10/5): - The night manager that was training the younger girl was AWESOME!!! She has the most bubbly personality and precious soul. We checked into room 111, which is our favorite number, and it was random so that was pretty cool. Then your name as the general manager is Jessica Boling and I am Jessica Bowley. Ironic again.
Thanks for a magnificent stay.
- David (6/5): Lady at the desk. - The woman that check me in was the absolute best that I’ve ever been checked in by.
- Carl and Janis (10/5): - The staff was very helpful.
- Jose (8/5): - I like it more when theres a fence around parking lot, if not a security guard watching vehicles, if not at least enough light around building.
- hunter (4/5): - i was on the second floor of this establishment and could hear the front door open, the phone ring in the lobby, and conversations from the lobby. and this is in the winter when there are no windows open.
- YONGHONG (10/5): - great!
- Will (10/5): - Close to highway
- Victor (2/5): - You get what you pay for. Dirty rooms and rude staff. Don’t stay at this place. Pay a few more dollars for another hotel with clean sheets, better staff, and breakfast.
- Aliaksandr (10/5): - No view. Just good for this money
- Franky (10/5): - Nice clean spacious rooms.
- David (6/5): Shower didn't work. Strained sofa. - Sofa bed stained, wouldn't want to sit on it. Shower doesn't work, had a bath but no drain plug, used washcloth to plug drain. Everything else okay.
- Lanora (10/5): Hidden Gem - This is a nice little gem. Very clean and updated nicely. First Motel 6 with inside doors. Rooms are huge and comfortable. Definitely stay again on our way thru.
- Sarah (6/5): - Nice staff and nice large rooms but they dont carry shampoo or conditioner... i couldn't shower so it was frustrating.
- Joe (6/5): Need a shower! - Staff was friendly but shower was horrid! Rotted floor and walls. Didn’t use it. Drain was above floor and was a cutting hazard as well as cracked floor all around it. Shower curtain was nasty on the bottom.
- Mark (10/5): - Easy fast check-in, huge room with new, clean bathrooms and bed.
- Marc (6/5): - Room was just OK. Air conditioner was very loud, there were no wash clothes available, batteries to the TV remote were low, and the fiberglass shower stall had a crack in the floor so we didn't use it! Staff was very friendly.
- Edwina (10/5): Happy but sad - I love this hotel and the friendly people that work there. We stay here every year in September. My only issue was that the bathroom flooded every time we took a shower and that was irritating.
- 101caraf (2/5): Dirty, outdated, felt unsafe - The bathroom was in bad shape. The carpeting was beginning to unravel....when was the last time it was cleaned? Furniture was old and outdated. I felt so unsafe, so I put 2 pieces of furniture in front of the door. I was out of there before the sun came up.
- Cheryl (10/5): Excellent place to stay! - This is probably the best Motel 6 I’ve stayed in. Spacious room. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Great service. Would recommend to anyone needing a place to stay in Colorado City.
- Carlene (10/5): - Property was clean, quiet and convenient!!

- william (10/5): Great stay - Had a great 5 day stay at the colorado city, tx location. All employees were great!
- Freddy (10/5): - I always have a good and safe stay with y'all. The staff is always willing to listen to my requests and that's great
- grinch (10/5): - all was good. Just needed a good nights sleep on the road
- JenniferR (10/5): - The cleanest, nicest, most spacious Motel 6 I’ve ever stayed in!
- Victoria (8/5): Great place to stop and sleep - Great big huge room. Bed was amazing. We slept so well.
- Michelle (8/5): - Needed laundry room
- Michelle (8/5): - It was a no frills motel. It got the job done.
- Faheemah (8/5): Smooth Check-in! - The staff was nice, clean lobby area, and Check-in went smoothly. The hotel didn't have an elevator so I'm glad we had a room on the 1st floor. The room was okay- there was some kind of gummy residue with hair stuck to it on the headboard and night stand. The shower in the bathroom was made for handicap so water was on the floor after every shower.
- Nancy (6/5): - The room was very nice & clean, but the only personal product furnished was a small bar of soap.
- Jeffery (2/5): Upset - Doubled charged
- KAREN (10/5): Nice - It was very nice
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Bed bugs. Water leaking from bathroom ceiling on 1st floor room.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Won't stay here again. Dirty. Creepy crawler in the tub. You guess what it was.
- Joe (2/5): Very disappointed. - My reservation was wrong. The room was dirty with fingernail clippings and cigarette butts.
- Brenda (6/5): - There were coach roaches in the bathroom. If your a single women going out back
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Big spacous rooms. Very quite hotel. Staff was very friendly
- Verified traveler (4/5): - I prefer to stay at a motel where the commode has a leak that caused it to keep running 24/7. I had to turn the water off to the commode to stop the noise. When I lifted the door to the AC/Heating unit, the door fell to the floor. The door to the TV remote was missing. (I couldn't believe it still had the batteries in it.) Lucky for me, there are other motels I can stay at in Colorado City.
- ewood22 (2/5): Heck to the no - This place looked like an armed robbery waiting to happen. In the room, the beds were made but that was it. Urine on the toilet, floors dirty, toothpaste on the sink. The “complimentary toiletries” consisted of a bar of soap. I got a refund and went to a different town. I would never stay here again. I would rather sleep in my car.
- 178bonnieh (2/5): Gross, Horrible experience - We arrived to check in at 8p to discover our room was dirty. The lady at the front desk told they had no more rooms then changed her mind to say they would clean it. They "cleaned" the bed but there was urine on the toilet. The halls looked like they had never been vacuumed. Totally horrible experience. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere clean. They never even attempted to make the situation right, in fact the lady at the front desk told me she had to refund 3 people's money that day because none of the rooms were cleaned. If we could have found another hotel near by that had opening we would have run!!!! Don't do it!!!
- JudyS370 (10/5): Highly recommend - Very surprised at how large and nice the room was for a bargain price. Good electronic hook upso, ŕefrig, microwave, large bathroomixing, two queen beds, desk and chair, new tv.. Not so impressive from street but nice inside.
- MatthewS509 (10/5): New rebuilt hotel..Real nice and clean.Huge rooms. - Big rooms..Flat-TV,Microwave and refrigerator in all the rooms..Limited rooms available only 24..So you better call in advance to get a room..Paid $60.00 for one night CDL truck driver rate..Big truck parking available..2 more hotels being built near by..Only coffee in the morning no breakfast..Everything in room 204 was clean with kingbed with padding and 4 pillows..2 night stands and desk..No vinyl floors in the rooms.Thick carpet and padding..Ceramic tile in bathrooms.I checked out other rooms too..Huge rooms. No bugs or drunks or drug people..I will be back again..Paid a little more but alot nicer than a usual Motel-6..
- laughter592000 (2/5): Customer Service - I haven't even arrived and called the location to ask about late check out. I called many times. No one answered and went to voice mail saying the "Cellular" prescriber was not accepting calls at this time. I called the "800" number and they made excuses as to why they didn't answer. He told me "Larry", that they were probably busy yet I could call late at night or early in the morning. I used to work for a hotel chain and this would be unacceptable. No wonder they are only Motel "6", There are not that many options in Colorado City, TX, but really?
- piddlingrandpa (10/5): Looked Brand New - Friendly Staff - We were traveling and at random just pulled off and got a room at Hotel Texas. Much to our surprise everything looked brand new. Bed was really comfortable. There was no coffee in room but figure maybe it will eventually. There were no vending machines and was no breakfast. I think maybe this is in the works because there is a breakfast area and a place for vending machines. They did have free WiFi. Price was really reasonable and they honored Triple A discount as well. I do recommend this place.
