Randall (4/5): - Sheets had dark hair on them. Pillows were old yellow and lumpy as if they’ve never been changed. There was dark hair on the bathroom walls and a knife just sitting on top of the towels in the bathroom when we arrived. The bathtub backed up while having a shower. The couch was dirty and there is no sound proofing which made the neighbours very loud

The temperature gauge didn’t work in the shower and only ran scaling hot water so couldn’t shower - the office was not open to raise the issues about the room. The whole hotel needs a face lift - it is stuck the the 1970’s and in poor shape. Will be requesting for compensation for the 1 night.

It had the million dollar view of the town below and the mountains around us with the 2 large decks that we had.The chalet itself looks majestic up on the side of the hill. I like staying there but the rooms still looks and smells like they are 40yrs old. Also being on a side of a hill it was not close to anything while having basic amenities.

The pillows cases were dirty. The stair wells are dirty, sidewalks are crumbling, paint is peeling and the price listed on your site is not the price we were charged.

Matthew (8/5): - Awesome views. Hotel is a bit dated and could use some upgrades. But the room was clean, bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. There were very few dishes in the kitchenette. So if you plan on eating in come prepared. Also there is no stove in the unit or a grill on-site. Overall it was a great hotel and I would stay here again.

Tamara (2/5): - It felt unsafe. Dirty door. Pullout with instructions to be careful! No blinds on the door window. Unsafe window on the ground floor. I placed something on the windowsill in case someone tried to get in. Took forever for water to heat up. Beat up a/c unit. Get a good repair person in there. The staff member was friendly. Oh the door almost didn’t lock with the deadbolt. Never again until an upgrade is done. Ground floor room near the back.

Marke (6/5): - Our stay at the Radium Chalet was nice and quiet and cozy. We had a great time duting our stay. The place needs improvement, but it’s no big deal. The place needs some improvement, I bet they’ll get more customers. Thanks Radium Chalet team! We’ll definitely stay there again!
Andrew (4/5): - Was a Very strange experience. Beautiful building and view, but it feels like things have been updated as cheaply as possible, while still keeping the main fixtures from the 70s (toilets, beds, wiring, ammenities.) felt like it was one girl working there. (Very friendly,) but had an issue in the room and tried to call the front desk, the phone didn’t work so had to fiddle with it, and once I got it barely working the phone number that was listed for the front desk was not in service. Went down to the front desk and there was no one there. Tried to Check out the next morning and left at 8am, and the lobby was locked and lights were off. Just an overall strange experience, could be an amazing hotel, but would avoid at all costs until it gets must needed updates and more staffed.
Diane (8/5): - The property needs a huge face lift but I'm sure it was amazing in it's prime. Although I debated on staying here I'm glad iI did. The comfortable quiet solitude is just what I was looking for. The new owners (one month) went out of their way to ensure a lovely get away.
Shelly (6/5): - The rooms were clean and the view is amazing but the hotel is old and under new management who seems like they didn't quite know what they were doing. Our credit card was charged twice, our room had no soap, the shampoo and conditioner pumps were empty.
Norah (2/5): Disappointing - We were charged the full amount before arriving and then the manager told us that was the previous owner scamming guests. They had to charge us again. I spent an hour on the phone with my credit card company. The hotel is very old and in disrepair. Not worth the money at all.

Pamela (4/5): - When we got here the lobby was locked up and dark. We tried calling the numbers listed online and through expedia and all were out of service. We finally found a guy wandering around and he's just taking care of the place for the owners who are having problems. The wifi, cable and phones have been cut off in this establishment and we are the only people here. He gave us a key to the room we booked online and we are allowed to stay the night tonight. The place should be taken down from expedia as it's not really in operation. The man that helped us was very friendly though. Surprised to see us as well.

Its been going down for the last 2 years but me and my wife enjoyed the quietness and the view but this last recent stay was terrible. Parking lot not plowed. Room stunk of natural gas so got another room but it took 4hrs to heat the room up and everything was dusty including bedding and under the couch was disgusting miss the old place how it once was cared for.

Gregg (4/5): - Sadly, this is a property that has been neglected / ignored for many years. Our group booked 4 rooms. All were below cleanliness standards, and there were quite a few and varied repairs needed throughout. There are issues that have obviously been ignored for a very long time. There were tables falling off walls, broken fireplaces, and very unclean rooms. In one room, the stones around the fireplace that fell off were just left there! (At least you could bother to take them away). They say you have a "kitchenette". No you don't. You have a microwave and the usual tiny fridge we see in EVERY hotel. You cannot cook. They don't give you more than two forks, two spoons and two knives. They kindly tell you to do your own dishes - but it is pretty hard when you don't have a way to put water in the sink, or a towel to dry your dishes. We stayed three nights. They never returned to the rooms once in the three days to replace a coffee pods, or ensure the rooms were somewhat in decent shape. Flies in the fixtures in the bathroom. Don't look up in the bathroom to the ceiling fan. It is caked in years of dust. Don't look in a corner anywhere. They haven't seen a vacuum in a very long time. The bathroom walls are streaked with condensation drips and some drips I don't want to do a CSI investigation on. I would never return.

I had to request to get 2 of the 3 beds changed due to dirty sheets, the tv didn’t work…would turn on then turn off frequently, saw a sign for fitness room and never found that when walking around, couch in room lots of crumbs and very uncomfortable, no other place to sit so relaxing in room was not relaxing. Parking was horrible, snow was plowed but not enough for parking to be easy. The lobby wasn’t open until 9 ish so no coffee before that unless you wanted to drive into town to a cafe. The building needs an updating reno and could use a really good deep clean. I wouldn’t stay here again. We were limited on rooms available that fit 5 people but I would drive to Invermere or try another hotel in Radium.

Walls were dirty (think toothpaste splatters), grungy light switches, walls were streaked with drips of coffee or humidity running down the dirty walls, grungy baseboards.
Sarah (6/5): - Up on a mountain overlooking Radium, the property had a fantastic view. The suite was spacious. There was a small kitchen with a microwave, mini fridge and sink with a sign stating “wash the dishes if you use them”. Living room with TV and couch and a patio which was lovely for watching then sunset over the mountains. The couch in the living room was broken and the door to the room was difficult to open and we struggled with the key. The bedding was not the most comfortable but we still slept well (bring your own pillows). My husband and I love sauna and chose the Radium Chalet because of the sauna advertised in the hotel amenities list and in the photos. When we arrived at the property, I enquired about where the sauna was located and was informed by the employee that the sauna is no longer is in use (please remove the photos and mention). Overall, not a bad place for the price, but you get what you pay for.
ROBERT FAKELEY (10/5): Great little Gem - Fantastic simple but comfortable place up on the hills overlooking radium Hot Springs. Very clean and comfortable and all the amenities I was very very happy and will gladly stay there again that was a first time, but that will be top of my list. Next time I go.

Verified traveler (2/5): Nothing like the website. Very disappointing. - This is an old tired hotel. Numerous years of neglect. Sorry we booked here. Shower was full of black mold. Everything was rundown and in need of maintenance. Too numerous to list everything. The photos online were shot 25 years ago would be my guess.
Jeannette (8/5): - No heat turned on. Had to ask for after a cold night thinking thermostat broken. Deadbolt broken. Missing x2 light bulbs. Blinds on door was broken and filthy. Fireplace did not work. Sofa was totally worn out and unusable. Extremely poorly supplied kitchenette. Bedroom window broken glass that was taped together with duct tape. Absolutely NO service...ice machine in main lobby which was locked from 5pm to 12noon thus not available to use. Front desk in lobby was "open" 12noon to 5pm when manned. Property and rooms in desperate need of repairs and updating. Needs TLC. Service needs to be greatly improved as non-existent. No garbage collection and no garbage bags available. Had to buy our own garbage bags and took garbage out of room to a dumpster off-site (bear country so didn't leave around). Room could be awesome as scenery from balconies was absolutely gorgeous. Location of Chalet on mountain side is perfect for providing a fabulous view of Radium Hot Springs.

The bed shetting and extra from the drawer is dirty causes allergic reaction and the smell terrible like it has not been clean properly. I am not going to recommend this property

Kirsty (2/5): Nastiness Hotel of all time - Do not stay here!! We travel a lot, this was the nastiness hotel we have ever stayed at. The bed was super hard, pillows were lumpy and the sheets and comforter was stained. The bed also smelled moldy and musty. The cleanliness of the whole place was disgusting. We couldn’t shower as the hold/cold tap didn’t work so the water was boiling hot, the toilet didn’t flush. There is no employees on duty after 10pm so we were able to have anyone come up after we checked in.
Mike (4/5): - This property has improvements made in the interior paited walls white trim and crown molding. Paneled glass door between the sleeping area ang the living area. The unit was vacuumed in the visable areas. The bed was clean the rest was not clean. Dust was visible on the floor boarsd the small kitchen area was not clean, the coffee machine and coff supplied was not clean , the bath / shower has a scum build up, one of the drawers had some of the previous tennant items in iy. Under the bed was very dusty plus a brown paper bag and a vape pipe labled THS which was placed in the paper bag and placed in the garbage can. The hideaway couch bed was stained ans should have been dumped when the room was painted. The bathroom toilet water hose has a visible layer of dust on it. We stayed in the unit for a maximum 6.5 hrs.and left by 6 am. Other then the poor cleaning it is a quaint place.
Jennifer (4/5): - This place has so much potential but i feel like it’s not being taken care of. The property indicates a sauna but it doesn’t work. Also says fireplace in every room but ours didn’t work. We tried to ask but could rarely find any staff. Also no continental breakfast even though again, they advertised it. Overall the room felt somewhat clean but the outside door had a gap. It still locked though. The ice machine was clearly broken even though we were told he was cleaning it. This place has a beautiful view though and nice walking trails in the back. If some TLC could just be out into it, I feel like it could be rented out all season long!
Keith (8/5): - Ultra quiet. As building is concrete skeleton. Great value rack rate seeing as was peak season & other props were $250-300. Building is elderly but solid, yes, the fixtures & fittings are uh- “vintage” and “well loved” but it doesn’t really matter as everything works. Kinda feels like a mini your Grandma’s apartment. Could it do with a lick of paint & some refitting? Sure. Does it make much of a difference once the lights are off & your eyes are closed? No. I’ll probably stay again, it has a cheesy charm to it.
Cory (2/5): - There were no screens in the windows. Flys in the room and spiders. The smell in the room best described as dirty. Cracks in the drywall and mold on the balcony. The bed frame was broken and the bed was barely being supported. I wouldn’t let my neighbours dog stay here. The place should be bulldozed. We were supposed to stay for 3 nights but left after 3 hours. Just couldn’t do it . That disgusting. No refund of course. 600 bucks wasted.

Rachel (2/5): - My husband and I recently stayed at the Radium Chalet, booked through Expedia, to celebrate our wedding anniversary.Unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant. The room was unclean, with soiled toilet facilities, dirty surfaces, and visible hair and insects, which made our stay uncomfortable. Despite reporting these issues to the front desk, no alternative accommodations were offered. We sought a resolution through Expedia, but were told that refunds are subject to the hotel's policy. Given that we did not voluntarily cancel but instead were faced with unacceptable conditions, we believe we were entitled to a refund. Both the hotel and Expedia failed to address the situation satisfactorily. It was a disappointment.
Mark (4/5): - First off, I inquired about my specific booking on the main level. The clerk said we have none and did not help at all. This forced me to drag my bike up 3 flights of stairs. Secondly, there was no parking available which forced me to park down the street and lug my bags. Third, there was a party ongoing until 230am which the front desk did nothing about. Not to mention that the only investment into this hotel in the past 40 years is a cheap Chinese TV in each room. All in all a nice view but a terrible night spent here. I give it 2 stars.

Sue (8/5): - I would love to give 5 stars for this property. The view is spectacular. The rooms are big and comfortable. Air conditioning works and room was cool. But the plumbing is terrible. Our toilet didn’t flush and was in danger of overflowing. We called the front and they said it was a problem with many of the rooms due to to thunderstorm /rainthat compromised the plumbing pressure We were told we had to use the bathroom in the sauna room. Luckily that bathroom was beside our room so the inconvenience was negligible bit still not much fun at 3am. ( we also decided to urinate in the bath tub cause it was more convenient…sorry if too much information) The sauna room bathroom was very clean but they ran out of towels in there so we had to wash our hands and then run to our room to dry them. Eventually we just tried to remember our own towel to bring if going to the bathroom The toilet issue was never fixed , the management did find us a solution …
alexander (2/5): - Never go to this hotel. It’s a health concern. Mold is all over the bathroom tiles . Toilet is leaking, Absolutely nobody clean the room probably for a year I would say. Fridge is sticking drawers where you supposed to put clothes are very dirty inside, carpets smell urine, dishes was dirty. Microwave is absolutely dirty . Air conditioner was so dusty when you turn it on the dust blow out on you. Unsanitary conditions. I asked him to change the room and they refused it, Seeing you can write a complaint to the owner. This hotel is absolutely not livable. Do not waste your money, even one dollar on this hotel.

No blow dryer No table even though there is a kitchenette Wash your dishes before checkout but no plug for sink or towel. Dirty dishes in cabinet. Caked on coffee on machine. Bathtub and shower filthy. No ice bucket, offered a garbage bag when I asked. Needed towels and was a major inconvenience.
