- Deb (5/5): It provided a place for us to sleep. - The room size was adequate. For being old it seemed to be kept up All the rooms are on the second floor. It does not say that on the website. In fact, the website seemed to glorify the place more than it should. The night clerk was working multiple jobs and he did his best for us, but when he said to make sure to lock our vehicle for the night - that gave us some concern.
- Rosa (4/5): - The Horizon Inn is in need of some serious repairs and updating. It was clean but given the age of the building, the furniture, the weedy and gravelly grounds, gaps in the curtains and door (light comes through) it gives a first impression that it’s dirty and unsafe. Musty smell walking into the room. The toilet had a leak and ran (to fill the tank) every 10-20 min all night long!! The restaurant food was a nice surprise. We got $20 coupons for dinner and free breakfast. The building looks rough on the outside but it was better and clean inside. The food was delicious. Service was great.

- Christina (1/5): Don't waste you're money!! - The only good thing about this room is it is close to the highway. I stayed here last night, only to sleep a few hours before I drove more, hours before I even got there they were charging my card over $300, for deposit and hotel fee, which i have never had before at any other hotel. When I called the front desk was so rude, along with when I got there. Once I got the room there was bugs in the tub, fire alarm hanging from the ceiling, clumps of someone else's hair on the back of 2 pillows, and the bed was like a cement block you can't even sleep on.. it was disgusting and a complete waste of money. This was by far the worst bed I have ever slept on in my life, well I wouldn't say slept because it's impossible on that rock hard bed. Very disappointed

- Verified traveler (6/5): Not worth what we paid. - Checking in was a bit confusing as the girls at the desk seemed new and one didn’t seem to speak much English. They were also very young and made one wonder if they really worked there. The bed was very uncomfortable and my back was extremely sore the next day. We had booked and paid for three of us to stay there, yet there were two towels in the bathroom, one with a big hole in it. The free breakfast the next day would have been fantastic if it wasn’t cold (eggs, toast, bacon and hash browns) and I thought it was weird to offer only water, coffee and tea as drink options for kids. The girl was very sweet and let them have hot chocolate. The lady at the front desk the next morning was super sweet and very professional.

- yvette (2/5): - Upon arrival at 9:30pm, the only 5 vehicles in the parking lot should have been my first indication not to stay! Hot tub, jacuzzi and steam room were all closed, no cable tv (apparently it was out in every room, both days!) and the continental breakfast is still a juice box and granola bar to go, blaming Covid yet despite every other hotel has gone back to proper breakfasts… granola bar and juice box was fine when they had to but it’a time to start doing it right or don’t do it at all. Then to really take the experience home, they didn’t even bother to clean my room or restock the towels and in room coffee between nights. Honestly, stay anywhere else!!

Had a great experience, did not try their steak house but it seems to have a lot of great options and they can bring your food to your hotel door. Unfortunately their hot tub is broken and it has not been fixed in some time.

He also told us we could go to a different hotel. We finally got him to only charge us $10 extra per night. Breakfast was included but you had to pick up a coupon from the desk everyday and go to a restaurant not attached to the hotel to dine. Options were okay but coffee or drinks were not included. The staff at the hotel was pleasant except for the one man claiming to be the manager. The original room they had us in was in the middle of renovations in a field with no building around!

- C&B (4/5): - Room appeared clean except 1/4 inch gap around door frame which would allow bugs or other things to slither in. Was not happy with extra person charge at checkin. Booked 2 queen beds for 2 adults and was charged extra for second person. Room type displayed during booking shows view of kitchenette which is why I booked deluxe room. Confirmation pic received from Expedia also showed kitchenette. Breakfast ok, pick an entree off specific menu. Will stay in next town when going thru the area.
- Theresa (8/5): EXCELLENT overnight stay - Spent one night here - only a few negative; room older but clean; towels very small & worn out badly. No plug provided for either bathtub or sink. Lots of pluses! Desk staff wonderful; handy location easy to find yet quiet; good wifi; large fridge in room & the freezer actually worked; VERY good price & breakfast wonderful (provided at restaurant & a few choices - my veggie omelet was massive & delicious)
