- Steve (8/5): The Queen Adelaide gave us a pleasant and comfortable stay with friendly staff to welcome us. - staff very friendly, location very good, rooms clean and tidy, bed comfortable, breakfast good - eggs especially. So often scrambled eggs are pretty ghastly - yours were very tasty. We enjoyed our one evening meal which was well cooked and presented (chicken breast) with its free drink and 15% off main course. Free daily newspaper a nice touch. Shower worked well. At first sight the room was very small but bed comfortable; room temperature worked well, water bottles every day appreciated, bedside lights very poor for reading, no light over bathroom sink very dark for shaving. We stayed three nights and found the storage space lacking. Frankly the room furniture was crowded, a little shabby and unsuitable for the size. A pity the breakfast fruit serving was the same every day. Stairs steep for an old man like me!

Parking in secured hotel car park. Breakfast options very good and evening meal was also great and service efficient and friendly. Breakfast room/restaurant/bar had lovely welcoming atmosphere and furnished well. Was not pleased with room as very small and needed a tidy up e.g marks on walls. Was not one of the rooms advertised on website. Bed was comfortable though and bedding and towels very clean.

Le restaurant de l hôtel est également très pratique et propose une cuisine simple et savoureuse. Mention spéciale pour le moelleux au chocolat. Le manque de cafetière. Il y a du café en sachet à disposition avec une bouilloire néanmoins.
- Vincent (10/5): All good - My wife and I and two other family members have just returned from a four day stay at the hotel. We have stayed in a lot of hotels over the years, but don’t often leave reviews, but we were so impressed with the hotel and staff we had to sing its praises. From arriving to leaving, everything was great, all the staff were friendly, professional and helpful, nothing was to much trouble. Our room was kept spotless throughout our stay (big thank you to all the housekeeping staff) the food was good but the breakfast was outstanding and thanks to Sarah and Amanda in the mornings they set us up each day, and the two evening meals were also good thanks to them. We all had one of the best holidays, they were both meticulous and so happy to help. We can’t recommend the hotel enough. If you are coming to Windsor and looking for a hotel The Royal Adelaide Hotel is the one to stay in, you won’t be disappointed. A BIG thank you to all the staff. Nothing

We were disappointed that the welcome drink we have experienced and enjoyed previously, ( although we are not drinkers ) had been discontinued on this visit . Takes a modicum polish off the shine.

- Monica (8/5): Great safe location close to centre with the bonus of parking and space to store my bicycle. - The hotel was perfectly located, quiet and accessible. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. I was on an overnight charity cycle ride. Returning to the hotel in early hours of the morning was very safe and easy and it meant my husband could relax and sleep whilst I completed the cycle challenge. The breakfast was excellent and the location meant we had time to wander in Windsor when we arrived in the afternoon and again after breakfast.

The staff we met were mostly nice & friendly We came for breakfast at 9.30 & all the pastries had gone & were not replenished also the yoghurt had run out & also wasn't replenished. Even if we were the last few people for breakfast I would expect things to be replenished as we all pay the same price & the breakfast is advertised untill 10.30. The room we had was very small & the bathroom tiny. It was clean & comfortable though.
- Barbara (10/5): Absolute Gem of a hotel. - After 2 weeks of traveling this hotel was a welcome retreat to rest for our flights home. The room was bigger than we had experienced in England, the beds were the most comfortable and the best pillows of the trip. Dinner and Breakfast were incredible and each staff member was absolutely lovely and so helpful. The location close to the Long Walk was perfect. Absolutely loved this beautiful Hote. Everything was great. The only downside is the constant sound of jets overhead, but we selected this hotel because of the proximity to Heathrow airport, so that is to be expected. We loved everything.

- Kathleen (7/5): The hotel was in a good location, but has some Quirks and inadequacies , but with a hearty breakfast. - Central location within walking distance of Windsor Castle Our room had a window which would not close or lock.The window had been broken into from the flat roof outside , so was totally insecure, yet had not been repaired by the hotel management, causing us to feel very vulnerable about leaving our possessions in the room.

- Jade (8/5): Great stay, we had a lovely time. - Everything was very clean, the bathroom in particular. The staff was lovely and friendly. I would only request fresh juices for the breakfast. And the AC in our room had a really bad odor at first, thankfully it went away after 10-20min.
- Regan (8/5): Very good for access to castle and very homely feel, but feels slightly overpriced. - The breakfast was excellent and the aesthetics of the hotel were very nice. The rooms were quaint and laid out nicely. The shower was very good as well. The location is amazing being a very short walk from the castle and the high street. On site parking is a huge perk as well. Was expecting a little more for the price paid. Check in was slow as no attendant at desk - had to venture into kitchen to alert staff. Our double bed was in fact two singles pushed together so the middle portion was quite hard.

Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was nice. Location of our room (6) was at the top of the first flight of stairs where guests were continuously walking past and so it was very very noisy and disturbed our sleep quite a lot.

This was advertised as a small double so my recommendation would be to upgrade, although this was at an additional cost of £40 which would have meant a 24% increase.

- Rebecca (7/5): Excellent staff and breakfast, grounds are beautiful, easy stay experience - Really lovely staff, excellent breakfast and nice garden Some of the rooms (like mine) face directly into a parking lot with the front of the cars practically inside the window of the room, it made it difficult to feel comfortable in the room as everyone was walking by less than two feet away from the window. Additionally, the location isn’t the best for Windsor - it’s still a long walk away from the main area or high street and it’s surrounded by entirely residential streets save for one pub nearby so it can feel a little isolated.

Breakfast cooked to order and very nice, room very comfortable with choices of hot drinks and complementary biscuits and bottled water. White Company toiletries. Air conditioning available in rooms. Would recommend and be happy to return. Thank you. The hot water tap on our bath didn’t work - room 21. It was as if the tap wasn’t connected to a pipe, the knob just turned round loosely with no water coming out. I felt the bed pillows were too soft - but that’s a personal choice. The hotel is on the direct flight path for aircraft leaving or coming in to Heathrow. When the windows are closed, it was much quieter but it was a very warm day and we wanted to open the window. No flights between 11pm and 6am.
- Joanne (8/5): Great stay and great location. - Great location and close walking distance to castle and high street with shops, bars and restaurants. We were given an upgrade due to a small issue which was rectified super quickly and made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Lovely friendly staff, great breakfast, parking available at a cost and we could leave our car until we were ready to leave. We would definitely stay again. More a recommendation than dislike, the road outside is quite busy and it is an old building with sash windows, it is also under the main heathrow flight line so I would take ear plugs if we stayed again. We were in room 12 at the front so may be different at the back of the hotel. We slept very well but took a while to get off with the traffic noise.
- Alan (9/5): A perfect place for us to wrap up a wonderful trip, with the most charming and helpful staff - An excellent location for accessing downtown Windsor and Windsor Castle. The room was very spacious and comfortable but do pay attention to cautions on their website about accessing rooms because there are stairs and no lift. Staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. It has private parking which is a welcome bonus when travelling in Britain! Our cleanliness rating only reflects that the corridors are getting a bit tired and could use a spruce up, but the rooms and dining room/bar areas were lovely.

Wir hatten leider sehr Pech mit unserem Zimmer (haben gesehen, dass es auch schönere gegeben hätte): sehr eng, sehr alter Teppich, kein Fenster, keine frische Luft, eine Heizung, die sich nicht regulieren ließ; Klobrille halb abgebrochen, man musste mehrmals die Pumpe betätigen, bis die Spülung dann funktioniert hat…

The rooms were clean and they were able to put our family close to each other. We had the breakfast and a meal and both were absolutely delicious!!!! Only a short walk to the castle and centre of town. It was wonderful!! This was a perfect place to stay to visit Windsor.

Smaller hotel and felt more personal. Parking was really handy. The bathroom was outdated. Although i think they are working through upgrading. The door frame looked like it had tea splashed up it. Long hairs on the desk chair and bath.

Diese liebevolle Gestaltung verlieh dem Aufenthalt eine besondere, fast entrückte Qualität. Das Frühstück war in jeder Hinsicht exzeptionell: geschmacklich hervorragend, sorgfältig komponiert und begleitet von einem ausgesprochen zuvorkommenden und freundlichen Service. Die Lage des Hauses überzeugt durch ihre außergewöhnliche Qualität. Eingebettet in eine parkähnliche Umgebung und zugleich in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Stadt, verbindet sie Ruhe mit hervorragender Erreichbarkeit. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die harmonische Einfügung in das architektonische und landschaftliche Gesamtbild der Windsor-Region. Kritikpunkte haben sich während meines Aufenthalts nicht ergeben; vielmehr entsprach das Gesamtbild in allen wesentlichen Aspekten den Erwartungen auf hohem Niveau.

Einen Parkplatz am Haus hat (allerdings gegen Aufpreis) Das Frühstück, außer der bemühte Kellner der sehr höflich, bemüht und zuvorkommend war. Die Fenster sind verschimmelt gewesen und die gebuchte Junior Suite lag im EG. Da gehört Sie nicht hin. Das Zimmer war mit Teppich ausgestattet und nicht gerade reinlich.

- Jacqueline (9/5): - The Hotel was in a quiet area away from the main shopping area. Walking distance from the town centre. Noisy guests.
- Martin (8/5): Warm and friendly - Lovely staff, great breakfast and superb location Room only had fire escape door instead of window so you couldn't open a window to get air in. For a family room it wasn't massive and looked tired in places. Didn't bother is but Windsor is on the Heathrow flight path.
