Guest Reviews
- BARBARA P (8/5): - Reasonable and clean.
- daron (10/5): - .
- Tim (10/5): - Such a great place to bring the family and pets. Great pool, bbqs, huge court yard, great staff and only one block to a beautiful sandy beach and park on the lake.
- Roger (8/5): - Great location. General maintenance could be improved.
- Joey (2/5): - The staff was not friendly, not easy access and limited parking. The place was hot and the portable air conditioner was not enough. We couldn't watch tv cause seemed like the tv or cable wasn't working. The bedding had stains and the appliances were greasy and stiky. Sorrounding area was unsafe. So overall our stay was not pleasant I wouldn't recommend this place.
- Connor (10/5): - Great spot close to the lake
- David (10/5): - Amazing
- Susan (8/5): - Newly renovated
- Anne (10/5): - It was nice, clean, quiet, good beds but the socalled full kitchen was very poorly stocked.
- Michelle (10/5): - We really enjoyed our stay! Suite was great. The hot tub is more like a warm bath or kiddie pool. other than that great!
- Michael (4/5): - We didn’t get the suite we booked. When we questioned it they said oops we gave it to someone else due to a glitch. No sorry, and they didn’t try to make it right, and additionally charged us for 2 ppl in our 2 bedroom suite. We had a total of 4 ppl and that was an extra $60 dollars. Yet didn’t do anything for the fact we didn’t get the suite we booked.
In addition AC wasn’t working well, and they said they would come fix, no one ever came to fix.
Nickel and dime and no apologies offered or discounts when they do not provide the service they offered.
- Morgan (6/5): - We liked the spacious suite but the beds were uncomfortable and the air conditioning units were outside of the windows with wood covering the remainder of the windows.
- Shari (8/5): - Staff was friendly and helpful. The only downside was lack of directions regarding gas BBQs and maybe checking smoke alarms batteries. Overall great, access to lake less than 1/2 block away. Pool looked refreshing and open lots. All in all would definitely recommend highly, especially for families.
- Candice (8/5): - The courtyard was lovely, very green, nice hot tub and pool although we didn’t use either and two very nice Weber barbecues. Suite was great with a well stocked kitchen.
- Nicole (4/5): - Pool was nice for families, pub one block away
- Carrie (4/5): - It had a good location, however the pool was not available as advertised. It was drained and dirty at the bottom. The air conditioner didn’t work, the jetted tub didn't work and the toilet didn’t flush properly. When I went to return the key cards I rang for service and no one came. I was going to tell them right then but there was no service. I was told my room was # 172 of the suites and there was no room # 172 so I wasted time looking for my room which turned out to be # 72 not # 172. Disppointed with this property, expected it to have been better with it being advertised on Expedia.
- Katherine (10/5): - Great pla e
- Verified traveler (4/5): - It was close to the beach and the pool area was good. We had a
- Stacey (4/5): - Booked a suite with jetted tub and was told they were all booked. There was no coffee pot in the room and the shower didn’t work properly.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice clean room, pool area was great, nice staff and they even wished me happy birthday
- JENNIFER (8/5): quick over-night - Stayed for one night in the 2 br suite. Check in could be more smooth and up to date, but otherwise was good.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The state was good itWasn’t very clean outside inside was nice was good location was great
- don (2/5): - Room we were directed to was in a separate building with very poor access and no cart to move luggage. We did not even enter the room as the carpet at the doorway was filthy and the room stank. Had to spend a lot of time on the phone with Expedia to cancel the room and get a N/C confirmation.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice staff and comfortable enough for one night. Good for the money.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - This was a long weekend and we needed a room, everything in town was booked. When we managed to get a room here we were pleasantly surprised by how clean and new the room was. We were in a newer bit that is not connected to the older main building so cannot say how those rooms are but ours (173) was very clean and comfortable.
- Jeff (6/5): - Construction going on, pool was very dirty, guest laundry facility very poor and very expensive, room was recently renovated but definitely not complete...shower leaked 24/7, clothing hanging rod falls out, one small towel rack....very noisy
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Positives: good price and location. The large bar fridge and microwave worked fine. Lots of towels were provided.
Negatives: Our bathroom had no hooks or towel racks, the shower squealed annoyingly. You could hear people in the next rooms.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The house converted to suites has no insulation between the walls. We could hear the people next door talking as if they were in our room. Air conditioning did not work and tv wouldn’t turn on. Hard to maneuver in the room, too much furniture/ small room.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Small, plain, clean room. Reasonalby good value. Didn't have high expectations and wasn't disappointed.
- Jess (8/5): - Close to the beach. Friendly front desk staff. Good for families:
- Verified traveler (6/5): Near the beach - Good location. No face tissue in the room.
- JEAN (8/5): We keep coming back! - Clean big room. Lots of space. Kids love the pool. A bit pricy, but that’s normal for Osoyoos.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice suite. Awesome a/c. Quiet. Close to beach. Nearby pub has good food. Pool and courtyard is lovely.
- Tamara (8/5): Comfortable room and great location. - Enjoyed a 1 night stay in our cozy room. Great location. We biked all over Osoyoos from our hotel!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Problems - No problems checking in asked for a late check out and the staff was knocking on my door at 10:30 am saying I have to check out even tho on the website it says 11 am but in the sign in in small print it says 10:30 bs
- Wolfgang (10/5): Wolfgang und Susann - Wir waren zwar nicht wie auf dem Foto dargestellt untergebracht sondern in dem Motel danneben aber es war alles in Ordnung und absolut klasse.immer wieder
- don (8/5): - Room was clean bed was comfortable would have been nice to have a non slip mat for tub in house coffee was weak
- Verified traveler (4/5): - was not what we expected, cleanliness was poor, no creamer for coffee, no kleenex in the room. pictures do not give a true representation of the hotel. The pool needed cleaning. Will not stay there again.
- Ed (8/5): Looks better online than in person - It was just an average motel. Rooms were small but clean. Facilities were okay but nearby bar attracted drunken youth. Management was average. Not worth the high price
- Verified traveler (4/5): Booked a "suite", got a room, paid for a suite. - Overpriced, not as advertised. Two cans and a string would have made a better wifi.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Don't get fouled by the pictures! - It's not like the pictures or description! For $189 a night we could have been in a much better hotel in Osoyoos. The facility, the so called Sahara Suites is like a family house with lots of building materials around it, mattress in the garage, and far far away from the beach right on the busy main road! The room it self is nice, but NOT for $ 189. To go to the court yard pool you have to cross the dirtiest road in Osoyoos (lots of dirty roads and area's) to past the garbage area to get to the pool. I would not recommend the pool as of the whole lot needs a big cleanup!
