- Patricia (10/5): - The manager was so helpful. He showed us a map on how to find free parking and was waiting for us to check in even though we were a little late because we did not understand how to park our car during check in. Very good stay and located well for walking the area.

- Jessica (10/5): - The location of this property can't be beat; less than 10 minutes one way is the train station, and less than 10 the other is the Palais des Papes. The room was small but clean, and the host was very kind and welcoming. The onky thing close to negative to add is that the curtain did not cover the entire window, but I'm an early riser, so it didn't bother me at all.

- Heiko (10/5): - Nice mid-level hotel in the heart of Avignon. A short walk from the train station and to the main shopping area with several restaurants. The owner/manager was very friendly and helpful with suggestions for sight seeing. The room was spacious and clean. The only caveat is that rooms on the upper floor are not suitable for travelers with physical limitations, as you need to carry up your luggage two flights of stairs, including a very narrow spiral staircase, to get to the top floor. But overall it was a great experience, and I would stay here again.

- Kate (8/5): Excellent venue for solo traveller - The room I booked was excellent for me as a solo female traveller. It’s easily walkable with your gear from the station and close to the bus stop for trips out of Avignon. The walk to the hotel feels safe returning at night and there are nearby pub/restaurant if you don’t want to go far at night. The reception process was great - giving me all the information I needed to get around. The room was basic but clean comfy and affordable for a solo traveller. I didn’t have breakfast at the hotel to comment. I would definitely stay here again.

- Denise Dawn (8/5): Great Service and Unique Charm! - Great small hotel in an amazing location within the old city walls. Very charming hotel with character. Very clean and helpful owner. Be mindful that there are lots of stairs to get to your room depending on what floor you are in. Check-in closes at 8pm nightly so reconfirm your arrival time. We almost missed out on our first night’s accommodation.

- Antony (10/5): - Hôtel has close proximity to the railway station and the centre ville . It is a quaint and characterful run by a really friendly host. Room was great - the stairs give an interesting optical illusion when you go up them !! Lots of help and advice offered about the town by the owner who was very much trying to help you have the most from your trip . Excellent value for the money

- steve (8/5): Central spot, old school. bnb. - Great little stay in the centre. Very helpfull team. The property is "quirky" and quite dated, but totally acceptable. You may have some issues with access if you have any mobility issues as some if the stairs are quite steep and tight. The host, was great. Advised us of places to go and avoid and we had a great night.

- CAPONE (6/5): Nice Boutique Hotel - Overall ok experience. Room was clean and bed comfortable. 10 minute walk to the Papal Palace. Reception was ok. We arrived at 9am left our luggage at the reception until 4pm (of which they were very strict about the time). Also be aware if you have allergies, they have cats in the reception area

The evening I arrived, I received an email at 7:30 telling me that the deadline was 8. I was able to arrive “late” with a door code, but the manager had the nerve to berate me the next day for being “late.” This is rude and unprofessional. They communicated poorly about how to check in for their lackluster hotel, then they gave me a hard time about being “late.” The guy would not let it go, even though I got in fine. Would not recommend.

The owners are tremendously kind, attentive, give great recommendations…and even showed me attention when passing me on their evening stroll (which was technically their time off). Would stay here again without hesitation! P.S.: they also have adorable cats.

Bathroom was tiny, but I got to an even tinier one later. The toilet cover is unique, but you have to go to see it. Too cute. Location was fantastic. The owner was the most helpful I had on my 28 day trip. Very kind and wants guests to enjoy his town.

Bug bites. I looked at images online of bedbug bites and they were similar.

We parked rental car at train station (across from wall to old city) and walk to the hotel. The hotel was fine for walking to sights including the Pope's palace, Roche de Doms. Unfortunately the Musee Angladon and Collection Lambert were closed during our 4 day whirlwind tour of 4 cities and Pont du Gard in Provence, France.

Rooms simple - vary in size and facilities - limited sockets in rooms if you have lots of electrical gadgets, but Wi Fi worked well. No lift and challenging stairs but owner helpful with luggage - also storing it for a few hours after check out.

Our host Julien made sure we had everything we needed. He even conversed with us in French to help improve our french language skills.

The hotel was situated 1 block from two major roads within the Avignon walls. It was quiet but convenient. The owner/manager was very nice. The room was limited on storage (no drawers) area but was otherwise comfortable.
- JENNIFER (6/5): Great location. Poor room. Avoid room #0 - This is the worst hotel in our 3-week vacation. Hotel is near train station and self-service laundromat. We were given room #0 on our first night and it has no hot water and the room has a strong smell of mildew/mold. My asthmatic daughter had a hard time sleeping so we demanded a room change the next morning. We were moved room #10 and it was much better. In my opinion, room #0 should NOT be rented out at all since it was inhabitable. AVOID room #0!!! If it were not for the friendly and helpful innkeepers, I'd give it one star.
- Jake (6/5): Quiet and well-placed, but not exceptional - An OK 2-star hotel in a quiet side-street at the edge of the centre. A bit over-priced, and the parking was not free (as advertised). Large room up narrow and twisty stairs. Basic en-suite bathroom. We didn't have the breakfast.

Also, anytime I used the water in bathroom, there was a "sewer-like" smell. Granted, some of this "charm" comes with older buildings in Europe. Shower was extremely slippery .. hotelier is friendly just starting to get the hang of things
- Verified traveler (10/5): Good value for money hotel - Hotel in a good location, a 5 minute walk from the railway station and about the same from the City Centre. Room clean, service good. Liked the continental breakfast,, a bit pricey at 9 euros but worth it for the convenience.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Charming hotel in Excellent Location - If you are looking for a small and quiet but charming hotel in a super location in central Avignon, then this is the one for you. Friendly welcome from the management and although we did not require assistance I have no doubt that the staff would have been more than accommodating if need be. Typical French breakfast with lots of choice. We would definitely recommend this hotel.
- Vivian (8/5): Convenient and cute boutique hotel in Avignon - Lovely hotel just off the main Rue de Rublique quick walk from train station (like 4 mins) and fairly convenient walk from main sightseeing areas (like 10 mins) such as the popes palace. Restaurant close by as well as shopping and pharmacy. Hotel proprietors Pascal and his wife were very friendly, gave good sightseeing advice and were helpful with my large suitcase. My room was very comfortable and quiet as requested. Bed on firm side which I like. Also had air conditioning. And room uniquely decorated. Hope to return to Avignon again and stay here!

- Verified traveler (8/5): A Good Value with Charm - If you are looking for luxury, this isn't your hotel. However, it has great charm and is a good value. Our room was very clean, the towels were in good condition and changed each day per our request, and the breakfast was very good. No elevator, that's fine. The t.v. and WiFi worked fine for us. Some other reviewers have mentioned the small bathrooms, and that is true, but it was enough room to keep us clean. :) The real plus is the staff. So kind, attentive, and genuine. Charming touches like the homemade apricot jam by Sylvie, one of the owners. And a weekend staff member used their dryer to dry our clothes after we were unable to at the local laundromat. We felt well-taken care of.
