Guest Reviews
- Emily (10/5): Perfect historical property, amazing location, absolutely spotless! - Incredible space for a get together. So immaculate and everything thought through for a comfortable stay. Brilliant location for pubs and shops. Would love to visit again! Nothing at all we didn’t like about the property, it was fantastic. A few improvements would be a little shelter for towels when using the hot tub in the rain, and the room I stayed in I had no bedside lamp, only the main switch. The parking was tricky but we were given lots of options in advance, it just happened to be a very busy bank holiday weekend.
- Tracey (9/5): Perfect home to catch up with our children and their partners. - Location was excellent. The house was charming and spacious. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of rooms to separate or come together. The hot tub was useless
- Antigone (7/5): Beautiful house, few tweaks needed - Beautiful decorated, great location, comfortable beds, lovely kitchen and garden was blooming with wonderful flowers. Terrace outside the ping pong was so slippery 3 people fell over. Needs to be jet washed.
Not great for families with smaller children. No high chair.
No mirrors anywhere, only in bathrooms so not ideal if drying your hair, no lamps next to the beds only main switches.
Be sure to bring your own milk and water as they don’t provide anything, no welcome basket or water by bed.
Hot tub a little slimy needs a filter and takes about 10 hours+ to heat up as the burner is small, we gave up.
House was very cold at night around 16 degrees as the heating keeps going off, despite it being quite mild weather.
Was a lovely stay but did expect a little more for the price, hopefully this is helpful feedback!

- Vicky (10/5): What a great location to stay for exploring picturesque Ludlow - Location was perfect for sightseeing around Ludlow . The castle, shops, restaurants and river walk all were close by. Host was thoughtful and heating on a timer in the early mornings ans evenings. Property spotlessly clean and decor lovely. 43 steps to the top floor!
- Angel (10/5): A beautiful property with a fab range of appliances, utensils, crockery, games etc to make for a lovely weekend away wit -
- Jennifer (10/5): - Beautiful property that was maintained to a very high standard. The hosts left some lovely welcome gifts and the kitchen was well kitted out to be able to cook a celebratory meal for a family party. Ludlow is also a lovely town. Nothing- As mentioned in the notes the property does have steep stairs so could be a problem for people with mobility issues.

- Peter (8/5): A beautiful property well located for town centre with great facilities. - Great location and large for a big group. Garden was beautiful. Lovely amenities. Table tennis and pool table were lovely. No info on recycling and how to deal with rubbish. Could have done with a roll of black bin bags. A cafetière would have been great too.
Minor thing and know it’s hard to keep clean, but the water in the water feature was very green.
- Louise (10/5): Luxury house in beautiful town - Absolutely beautiful house! Very cosy & homely. Lots of rooms & space. Beautifully furnished. 5 minute walk to town. Ed & Robert great hosts. Didn't want to leave. Only a small thing needed more recycling bags & rubbish bin bags
- Duncan (10/5): Brilliant house, very comfortable + well equipped. Will definitely book again if back in the area. -
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rob (10/5): - Great location to explore town and area.
There is no breakfast included with this b and b.
- Debra (10/5): - Well worth upgrading to a junior suite, the room was huge. Exceptionally clean and very friendly staff.
- Iris (10/5): - The accommodation is very spacious and comfortable with lovely period look furniture. You have the added bonus of living room and private courtyard shared with other rooms. It’s very close to the main square where outdoor market is, Ludlow castle and car park all within less than a 5 minute walk. There are numerous eating and drinking places. Would definitely stay here again.
- Brian (10/5): Perfect accommodation in Ludlow - My partner and I had a great weekend in Ludlow, our first visit, and The Townhouse provided perfect accommodation. Very centrally located near plenty of pubs and restaurants but still very peaceful (except the church chimes 🙂). We had a Junior Suite which was huge with a very comfy super king bed. No TV or music in the bedroom is unusual today, but no issue really. A little dated interior but all clean and in good condition. Overall really comfortable stay.
- David (10/5): - This was a gorgeous property and right in the town centre. Despite being so close in the town, there was little in the way of noise. Bed was very comfortable.
