- Kumiko (6/5): - 古く歴史を感じる、趣のある旅館でした。 山の中にあるため秋でも肌寒かったですが、星が綺麗でした。自然の音を聞きながら、静かに過ごしたい方にいい宿だと思います。 部屋は鍵がなく、お隣とは襖一枚で音が聞こえてしまうため、21:00には皆さん就寝して静かに過ごす雰囲気です。 お風呂は温泉ではありませんが、温まりました。 虫の苦手な方や古い建物が苦手な方には向いていないと思います。ただ、良さも悪さも、その方の感じ方次第だと思います。

- Rebecca (8/5): Stay in “Spirited Away”-like inn - Staying at Ryokan Dangoya felt surreal, like you were in an inn in Spirited Away. The ryokan is really old.. like 125 years old, located in the middle of the woods, so be prepared for that! I was worried at first because they only had a shared toilet and communal bath, and we had a 2 year old with us. There was a huge Japanese family having the other room, but we never ran into them at the bathroom! This place is more popular among the locals as we were the only foreign tourists there. I didn’t even realise that the restaurant in the ryokan is Super famous.. at lunch time there were so many locals lining up to try the delicious somen noodles, which, along with the rest of the food at our stay, was so lovingly prepared and absolutely scrumptious. What made our stay so special though was the impeccable service by their staff, especially Saki-San, who speaks perfect English, and attended to our every need with so much cheer and warmth, it more than made up for all the little inconveniences (no ensuite bathroom, bugs, really steep staircases and no elevator). It was a most memorable and special stay!
- hagi (6/5): アクセスが微妙 - 山の中にありあるため、車でのアクセスでないと不便。また、山道がかなりけわしいから運転苦手な人は大変だと思った。 ご飯は美味しいが、山菜料理は若い人間には物足りないかも。
