• Mihnea (9/5): - I went skiing in Niseko at the end of the season, but honestly I couldn’t have had a better trip and stay overall at the ecolodge. The staff was incredibly friendly, always offered to help out with any tips, and went as far as offering me rides from and to the Kutchan station. Highly recommend this place as your stay in Niseko! The breakfast is a traditional Japanese breakfast, which may not be for everyone. That being said, it was still good!

I highly recommend thi - I loved the decor and the common room, it was a very welcoming space. The staff were incredibly helpful and took us to hire ski gear and even to buy some socks! There was no kettle for tea in our room and no tea served at breakfast either.

I worry it'll be booked out and I'll have to stay somewhere else :(

• Jaimy (4/5): Für längere Tage nicht zu empfehlen! - Mir hat der Stil gefallen und das Essen abends, welches günstig zu erwerben war. Die Lage ist okay, nur die Bustransfere sind irgendwie komplizierter als man glaubt. Das Vierbett-Zimmer war super dreckig, von den vorherigen Gästen wurde gefühlt alles hinterlassen, Essensreste, Klamotten, benutzte Handtücher, Socken… der Boden war auch dreckig. Nur unsere Betten waren gemacht, aber sorry, empfinde ich als Unding. Es wurde dann am nächsten Tag auf meinen Hinweis sauber gemacht, aber als ich nach einem Discount mit dem Manager gefragt habe, hat er mir unterstellt zu lügen. Er hat das ganze abgetan, als wäre es nicht dreckig gewesen, obwohl drei seiner Leute das Chaos gesehen haben und meine Mitbewohnerin dies auch bestätigte!!! Frühstück war auch sehr dürftig, mal gabs Toast, mal nicht und irgendwie schaffen die hier kein vernünftiges Rührei… Außerdem war es ultra hellhörig.

• Earl (7/5): Good value for money. - Good value accommodation. I was in a dorm room with others but this was not a negative besides a bit of snoring going on at night! I am a little old to be sharing a dorm room however it was my only option as the resort was busy.

• Rosalind (10/5): Excellent value in a fun, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. - This is a fun, friendly and great value option for skiiing in nearby Niseko. The lodge has its own shuttle bus plus there is a free shuttle bus to the ski areas throughout the day that stops across the road at the 7/11. The dinners were outstanding value with a huge menu of delicious options. The vibe is very casual and relaxed like a traditional ski lodge. The breakfast was limited and very much Japanese style which is not really the type of food I like to eat in the morning. (Although white toast and jam was available, tea was not … but there was a kettle in the pantry so you could make your own).

• Irina (3/5): - The location is good. The room is ok The attitude of personal is terrible. At first they promised to pick us up at the station, but nobody met us. I wrote to the hotel in booking and they answered "oh there was misunderstanding with the driver". Then we were waiting the driver for a long time. When we finally got to the hotel nobody gave any apologies The breakfast was really terrible. There were no eggs, no pancakes no cereal. You could drink only coffee, even no tea!

• Kubo (3/5): 清潔さが改善されれば満点 - 建物も雰囲気も良く、また、前にセブンがあるので立地もすごくいいと思った。 ラウンジ兼食堂も雰囲気が良く、語学が堪能ならいろいろな国の人と話せてよかったと思う。 ベットもきれいにされていたし、部屋もきれいでした。 建物や雰囲気に比べ水回りが汚い。特にシャワールームはカビも生えているし、壁も黄色の皮脂がついているし。少なくともシーズン前には業者を入れて全部きれいにしてほしい。 また、建物に洗面所、トイレが1か所しかなく、多くの人が使うのに清掃がほとんどされていないように思う。少なくとも1日2回くらいは清掃に入って綺麗さを保って欲しい。 パントリーには保健所の要請できれいに使うようにという説明分が張ってあったが、それであればシャワールームやトイレの方が清潔に保たれるべきだと思う。 また、ゴミ箱も垂れた汁や汚れが付いたままでゴミ箱自体が掃除されていなく、雰囲気と正反対のために非常に目につく。 多様な国籍の人が集まり使用する施設なので、清潔さには気を使って欲しい。 この点が改善されればすごくいいところだと思う。 また、ものを置くところ、服や手袋などをかけるところが少ない。ベッド横にも物をかけられるものがあるとすごく便利だと思う

• Nathan Oscar (10/5): Best place to stay as a solo traveller in Niseko - Very social vibe, met loads of friends here. Appreciated the ski-forward attitude of the place; there’s a drying room and separate entrance for gear, daily morning shuttles to Hirafu. Staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good. Only problem is that it’s a 20-30 minute walk to slopeside which can be a pain on some days. Shuttles are available but can be full or timings, clumsy. Still a bit expensive for a hostel but best rates available in Niseko.

• Rebecca (8/5): Great improvements have been done - Free breakfast, and for dinner The restaurant is way better than it was last year.decent price and good food, free pick up and drop off to catch buses or trains and free shuttle in the mornings to the lifts at hirafu,warm rooms, and 7/11 directly across the road and bus stops on either side of the road to make your own way around.

• Simon (8/5): - The staff picked me up from Kutchan Station on the shuttle bus which was so handy, very friendly, especially Thea who was super nice. All the staff I dealt with in the hostel were very friendly. The hostel itself is clean and modern, and there is a bus to get you to Grand Hirafu which is where I went. A very little thing, but in a hostel I'm used to having curtains on the bed to pull across for privacy but this hostel didn't seem to have that. Only a minor issue though.

• fgeremia (8/5): Buena estadia para esquiar en hirafu - Fuimos a esquiar. Buscábamos una habitación con baño privado. Fue lo mas económico q encontré. Y fue una excelente eleccion. Muy buena calefacción y ducha caliente. Enfrente de un 7eleven. Restaurante propio del hotel con comida de muy bie a calidad y buenos precios. A 10 min en traslado de king góndola de Hirafu (para mi la mejor zona de niseko) El hotel brinda shutles gratuitos in/out a la estación kutchan o al welcome center de Hirafu (ambos a 10min) y además tiene traslados a la mañana para el cerro. Sumado a eso en la puerta pasan 2 buses de hirafu para ir y volver del centro Las áreas comunes (la cocina sobretodo) medio sucia, los vestuarios no los use pero fui y tampoco me parecieron muy pulcros.

I was most impressed by Ben at the reception, he was very patient to explain to me the complicated resort shuttle bus lines/schedules. And I needed to pick up rental skis and go to another place after I checked out, he drove me there, as part of the send-off services.

• Nischala (10/5): Despite some minor drawbacks I would definitely love to stay here again - 1. The staff - impeccable hospitality. As a solo female traveller who was experiencing snow, skiing, freezing weather, etc., for the first time - the easy to approach and friendly staff were the main reason why my mind was at ease. Also, I left my iPad at the hostel and checked out, the team was so easy to contact and they made sure to pack it safely and send it to me (so grateful). 2. The dinner - I got a package where dinner was included and that’s the best decision I’ve made! At the end of skiing everyday I knew I had a great dinner to look forward to. 3. Cleanliness - despite being a shared space with so many people coming and going, it was very clean and comfortable. 1. Noise - the walls are just so thin that even the smallest movement sounds extremely loud. Between 11am - 7:00am, it was relatively quiet but I found it impossible to sleep earlier or sleep in. 2. Location - it takes at least a day to figure out how to get back from the gondolas. It’s not impossible but it’s also not the most convenient because you might have to walk a bit (especially when you have gear, it’s a hindrance).
• Jinsoo (9/5): Decent price for the area and while not a luxury stay, it is clean and comfortable. Strongly recommended! I’ll be bac - Early, free, and substantial breakfast at 6am. Great for the jet lag. Decent lunch and dinner offered too. Warm heaters in rooms (immediate control) to dry ski gear. Laundry in building is helpful. Great bidets on toilets. Location great for skiing Niseko (busses, hotel shuttles, taxis) and exploring Hirafu area. Price is decent for the area. Free parking if you have a car. Plenty of common space to set up work or relax. Staff is very friendly and helpful. View of My Yotei on one side of the building! Rooms are modest and small. Desk area for work exists, but small. King/double rooms are two twin beds put together, but no mattress pad to hide the boundaries of the mattresses, so overlapping while sleeping doesn’t work.

• Anderson (10/5): - My Ecolodge was the perfect budget accommodation in Niseko! They had a shuttle that picked us up and dropped us off where our buses arrived and a shuttle to get us to the slopes in the morning. The public buses also stop at the intersection outside of the hotel, so there are plenty of options to get around. Staff was super friendly and helpful! Breakfast is included and very good.

• James (6/5): - Great food on-site, adding to the good value at Ecolodge. Plenty of breakfast choices each day. Bathrooms were moldy and not well cleaned. Commnlon area floors were pretty skank and not cleaned while we were there.. The communal kitchen area was poor, no glassware at all, nasty pots and smelly.
• Joshua (9/5): Affordable and good location for those only looking to ski at Niseko - Great breakfast included. Variety of foods provided and different options each day. Rooms were cozy and well insulated with heaters so never felt cold. Private bathroom was great. Free shuttle bus for check in and check out were perfect. Location is not perfect but good enough. Local bus stop outside allows for transport to the resort but late days, public transport is not as frequent. Stairs up and down were also hard with full gear.

• Julia (8/5): I’d recommend for travellers looking for an affordable place to stay. - The free breakfast was amazing. Also the lunch and dinner options looked good. The free morning shuttle was great. The staff were very friendly, and the check-in and check out process was very quick. The laundry room was difficult to use since all instructions were in Japanese. It was also a far walk from the main town area.

• Kam Yen Alex (8/5): Value for money - The location was excellent, being right across from a bus stop that both the Niseko United shuttle bus and the Hirafu shuttles stop at. The cost was also more than reasonable, considering that it also included breakfast and a complimentary morning shuttle to the slopes. Beds were comfortable and the people I stayed with in my dorm room very respectful. There were several instances during my 7 day stay in which guests were banging on something, shouting and just generally drunk behavior past the stated 'quiet hours' of the hostel. I understand that, being a hostel, these things happen, but I felt it could have been solved with a more comprehensive check-in process. During my check-in, there were several things that were not explained to me at all. This included the following: the shuttle bus schedule, time for breakfast and the general house rules of MyEcolodge. Perhaps if this was done more comprehensively, we can avoid the kinds of behavior that would wake the entire floor up at 0200 or even 0300, as I experienced. Furthermore, the shuttle bus schedule posted on the website is actually different from the headways that were available during my stay. It resulted in me waiting quite pointlessly at the welcome center for a MyEcolodge bus that would never arrive. Again, a more comprehensive check-in procedure explaining the shuttle times and recommended routes for returning to the lodge would've solved this issue.

• SHENGREN (10/5): 很棒，如果有朋友来二世谷滑雪我会推荐他住这里 - 很棒，在二世谷滑雪很方便，早上有免费的班车，回来也可以坐雪场提供的免费公交车到711站下车，最主要是酒店提供俱只安站到酒店的免费巴士和酒店去俱只安站的免费巴士，这样也不用担心往返交通高昂的打车费了，并且提供免费的早餐，还有专卖存放雪具用品，行李箱和背包的设施，酒店的卫生也很干净，洗澡水很热，未来要能再弄个泡汤池那简直完美了。如果想长期滑雪可以选择住这里，性价比也很高 如果能有一个泡汤池那简直是完美

Also shuttle busses to slopes in the morning. Staff was not very helpful. Especially when dealing with coach buses to leave for airport. They had no idea about how to get one or what to do to book one.Also room cleaning. We stayed for 5 nights and they did not clean once or give extra towels. We had to ask 3 times before someone finally came and gave us new towels and cleaned out garbage from the room.

• Viola (6/5): Decent but extremely overpriced for what you get - Pros - free breakfast and there is also a shuttle service that will pick you up and drop you off to Kutchan Station, as well as the ski lifts. There is a ramen restaurant inside that has delicious ramen for a good price. Ski storage is available, as well as a laundry and area to cook food (only toaster and microwave). Cons - for the amount we paid (more than $300CAD per night), I expected better customer service. Nothing annoys me more than seeing multiple staff members screwing around on their phones while they direct you to self check-in. They sit there and watch you check in - so why are they even there? They were also terribly inflexible and would not allow us to check out one hour later. At 1015am they were knocking on our door to get us out. This is essentially a nicer hostel run by gap year students - there wasn’t a 25+ adult in sight. There is no food near this hostel except for two hot pot restaurants, a bakery and a 7-11.

• Yuan (10/5): 性价比很高服务很好的住宿 - 设施很完善，有雪具烘干屋、有洗衣房，住宿楼内的餐厅味道不错也很实惠，尤其是冰淇淋非常好吃，去雪场每天早上有免费接驳巴士。员工非常地热情，离开的时候落了东西也帮我们寄到了下一站的酒店。 但住宿位置离雪场有一段距离，晚上回来得坐雪场的免费接驳大巴，错过时间就得打车了，房间空间比较小。
• ShinYuCheul (10/5): 멋진 니세코 여행에 추천 - 아침 식사 걱정을 하지 않고 마음 편하게 먹을 수 있었습니다. 일본가정식, 식빵등이 나왔고, 편의점에서 추가 반찬을 구입해 같이 먹으면 좋습니다. 니세코의 음식점은 가격은 비싸고 돈을 꽤 지불해도 그에 상응하는 퀄리티가 없었습니다. 1층 탐탐라멘을 추천합니다. "저희 MY 에코로지에서는 오전 7시 45분부터 오후 4시까지 30분 간격으로 무료 셔틀 서비스를 제공합니다." 라는 안내를 홈페이지에서 봤는데 오전에 3번만 운행해서 아쉬웠습니다. 니세코의 대중교통은 시간도 안맞고 배차간격도 아주 길고 힘든 조건이이네요.

We are already willing to come back! It’s a bit faraway from the ski center. It wasn’t a problem for us though as the free bus from niseko was very useful.

• ALISON (10/5): EXCELLENT in EveryWay- Good Ambience, Good People, Good Food, Good Everything. Best place to stay. - EVERYTHING! The staff were very responsive, responsible and helpful. Even though we changed our pick up time, Thea made sure their Van came straightaway to pick us up from Welcome Center. And likewise when we left. The Food is super delicious and very reasonable. Our favourite restaurant in all Niseko. The Mabo bowl, Curry Ramen and Ginger Pork was a big hit with my family. And the Restaurant space of looking out into the snow. Beautiful! We loved everything about MY Ecolodge.

• hi (8/5): ヒラフ周辺でも予算抑えめで泊まれて助かった。 - 場所が便利。朝夕食付にしましたが、量が多くてびっくりしました。欧米サイズ、笑。 宿泊費はドミトリーにしては高く感じましたが、食事が安いので食費込みだと予算内に納まりました。 部屋の暖房が効きすぎるくらい効いていて、寒がりの私には良かった。 ドミトリーの部屋でしたが、今時のドミトリーにしては珍しくベッドにカーテンが無かった。 シャワー室に個別の脱衣スペースがなく、大浴場の脱衣所のように丸見えでした、笑。 部屋の換気扇の音がやけに大きくて寝れないかと思ったら、疲れ過ぎていて爆睡できた。

• Caroline (10/5): Helt perfekt boende för skidsemester - Perfekt läge! Man kunde gå in till byn men det fanns även bussar om man inte kände för promenaden. Shuttle bus till backen var perfekt, och maten från TAM TAM var så god varje dag! Jag hade bott här tusen gånger om.
• Eva (8/5): Bra läge, hjälpsam och trevlig personal och bra hållbarhetsprofil. - Vi var väldigt nöjda med boendet på Ecolodge. Vi ville ha ett boende som fokuserar på hållbarhet, och gav det full poäng. Det finns ett kök där det går att förvara egna matvaror samt laga mat om man så vill. Det finns mycket bra källsortering och väldigt få engångsprodukter. Den middag som serveras på kvällarna var både god och prisvärd. Thea och Ben som arbetade i receptionen var väldigt hjälpsamma och gjorde vår vistelse extra trivsam. De gemensamma utrymmena restaurerades under vår vistelse och blev ännu mer trivsamma. Frukosten var en ganska traditionell japansk frukost och det innebär att det till exempel inte finns bröd. Detta skulle dock ändras veckan efter vi hade åkt.
