• Brenton (10/5): - Large modern hotels with spacious comfortable rooms , spotlessly clean, two pools, lovely helpful staff , an easy stroll into the old town for cafes etc
• Maria (6/5): Not as pleasant as other hotels in Portugal - The hotel was fine but definitely not a four star. The room was big they did give me an upgrade which was wonderful but there was an order in the room that came from the vents. The front desk staff was excellent but the breakfast staff were so unfriendly! The coffe machine broke and it took them 4 days to fix it. The same food was put out for the entire week no variety and staff was slack in replacing empty portions. The orange juice dispenser broke as well but at least they fixed it within 24 hrs. Out of all the hotels we stayed at and this one was for 7 nights I found that the staff here were a bit snooty and were not as hospitable as the other hotel staff. Very disappointed bc the hotel is in a great location and equipped with spa, bar (which most times didn’t have anyone there to serve) and no coffee in the rooms which I thought was completely odd since Europeans drink mainly coffee. I had to pay to get a cup of coffee. Insane!

• Elizabeth (10/5): - One of our favorite hotels in Portugal. Amazing staff, extremely clean, great spa, 2 pools, outdoor pool bar and everyone is super friendly. Decent breakfast although it was better a few years ago. Always a pleasant stay.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Buena estancia con cosas a mejorar! - + Primeramente felicitar al personal de el hotel ya que es lo mejor de este alojamiento. + Estancia correcta pero faltan detalles para el precio que tiene y sus estrellas, por ejemplo en el baño no ponen ningún tipo de artículo más que su jabón embotellado, ni gorros de ducha, ni cepillo de dientes ni nada de nada... - A la habitación también le falta algún detalle, tipo algún espejo más amplio y un poco de vida por que sobre todo el baño se queda muy antiquado... - El spa bien por estar incluido sino no valdría la pena, muchos niños, muchísimo ruido y todo el rato esperando para poder utilizar las instalaciones. - Lo que no nos gustó nada fue la cena.. Nos tocó pagarla a parte ya que hacía muy mal tiempo y no nos quedó otra, en principio el menú aunque caro nos pareció buena opción, la sorpresa fue al llegar.. Estábamos esperando a que los camareros nos sentasen ya que estaban ocupados y de repente aprecio otro con pinta de ser el " jefe" con un poco de malas maneras hizo señales para exigir que nos sentase, más adelante en otra ocasión volvió a regañar a otro camarero por que le pedimos pan, no entendíamos tanto regaño para que finalmente la comida llegase seca, me atrevería a decir que uno de los platos recalentado, la tabla de enchidos de supermercado y hasta el postre reseso.. Un precio excesivo y encima con bebidas aparte, sin opción de poder pedir otra cosa o un solo plato... Nos decepcionó bastante. +++ pero por lo general tubimos una estancia agradable y repetiría

• Silvana Borges da (10/5): - O hotel é muito bem localizado, atendentes atenciosos e muito gentis, tivémos uma estadia maravilhosa. O jantar foi excepcional acompanhado de um delicioso vinho. O café da manhã é ótimo, muitas opções. Show de música a noite no piano bar. Quartos amplos, limpos, camas super confortáveis, a varanda dá uma bela vista da cidade. A ducha é ótima. Pretendemos retornar mais vezes.

• Ana (6/5): - A estadia correu aceitavelmente Optamos por uma Suite Junior. O quarto estava frio á chegada, pois tinha uma janela aberta; consideramos que as paredes e os cortinados estavam bastante degradados para o nível 4 estrelas que estávamos á espera. Consideramos que a staff do Hotel foi excelente na recepção e acompanhamento ; foram prontos e adequados nas solicitações e muito simpáticos. Ou seja, recebem muito bem mas o Hotel necessita de umas obras pois é evidente o desgaste das instalações.
• Joana (8/5): Bom - Gostei especialmente do pequeno-almoço. Do melhor que já vi!!! Foram muito simpáticos e também nos deixaram carregar o carro eléctrico. Só nos desagradou o facto de termos escolhido especificamente 1 cama de casal e nos terem colocado 2 camas. Podiam ter avisado.... Não gostei e a regra de "quem chega 1°" ou "quem reserva 1°" só faz sentido se os clientes que já não têm direito à cama de casal forem avisados e lhes é dada a possibilidade de cancelar a reserva com a devolução do €. Para todos os efeitos, reservamos 1 quarto com cama de casal e não o tivemos.

Mais le choix de cet hôtel c'est fait sur une description erroné des options de la salle de bain.... Volontaire ? De la part d'abritel certainement... L'hôtel était prêt à annulé la réservation sans frais, aucune réponse de la part d'abritel.

• Lawrence (8/5): Pleasant stay in Arcos - Well located, basically on the river Vez and one can walk across into the center of town. We spent a few nights, having at one point a junior suite, other nights in two twin rooms. Nights were quiet which what we mostly needed. We did not try the wellness center. Breakfast is not special, coffee from a machine and not fresh juice, though fresh fruit is available. The breakfast servers though were very helpful and patient on late arrivals (kudos to "Rosa") . Value was fair and front desk attentive to check-in and out. Only complaints would be weak wifi and in one room the aircon and entry lights didn't work. Parking is always available.

Arcos de Valdevez é uma vila muito bonita e nem parece ser portuguesa com a seu lado moderno e antigo. Aconselho o hotel para ter uns dias de sossego e calma incrível.

We enjoyed thepool,the sauna and the whirlpool. Breakfast was adequate . The dinner net menu provided many options. We ate a lighmeal but were more than satisfied with the selection. It was convenient to eat atthehotel in the winter.
